Kuzan x reader - Kidnapping
Tumblr media
do you want a part two? please let me know!
When you had read in the newspaper that two pirates from Blackbeard's crew had broken into Whole Cake Island and kidnapped Pudding, one of Big Mom's daughters, you had simply sighed and shook your head. This was not the first time pirates had kidnapped anyone, much less abducted any other pirates.
You had read that the girl was only sixteen years old, and even though she was also automatically a pirate, you couldn't help but feel a veil of sadness toward her. She was still a young girl, lonely and scared for sure of those pirates…You knew that the pirates in Yonko's crew were particularly cruel, and you knew that there were two captains in his fleet who had no problem raping a woman.
But honestly that was it, you didn't bother to investigate further, as much as you were sorry it was still something related to Big Mom and and Blackbeard's pirates, not something related to you. So you spent your day quietly, not thinking about the news you read.
Until one of your fellow marines approaches you quietly as if he doesn't want to further upset you with an expression of pity toward you (now that you think about it, many marines have looked at you that way while whispering to each other) and says, "You know, I wanted to tell you that I was sorry…I read…Well everyone at the base read what happened at Whole Cake Island."
You look at him confused, wondering why he had told you this… What did you have to do with the kidnapping of that little girl? Of course you were sorry, but it wasn't something that destroyed you, it simply caused you a hint of sadness but that's all . The Marine further explains what he meant "I know what it's like to find out that your loved one turns out to be a different person than you thought."
"Huh?" you say being even more confused.
"Come on, don't pretend that's not true. We all know about our former admiral and your former boyfriend Kuzan and that girl" he says looking at you with an even more pity expression. He probabily thinks that you are trying to deny the realty.
"Kuzan? What the fuck Kuzan have to do the kidnapping of Pudding?" you say irritated, both because that marine was assuming that the man you were having an affair with and still loved was dealing with a kidnapping and because of his expression of pity. He almost looked like he was a bit condescending, as he is treating like a child.
"Y\N..." he says, changing expression after realizing you have no idea " I suppose you didn't read the communicate of the superiors... We have been reported that the Whole Cake Island has been frozen..."
you didn't need him to continue to understand everything….It was Kuzan who kidnapped the girl then, together with another member of Blackbeard's crew, your ex is the only one who has that level of power and above all had a devil fruit capable of freezing everything
"We all know that he is the only one....Honestly there are been reports of him joining Blackbeard, but we didn't believe them...And we didn't tell you because we tought it was useless since they were fake...But we are mistaken...I guess" he says sheepishly
…But why he joined blackbeard? You ask yourself while looking at the marine, but not saying anything. Why join a pirate like him? Did you know that Kuzan didn't hate pirates like Sakazuki, but joining a person like that Yonko? You could understand Shanks if he liked having more freedom…hell even Luffy…But Blackbeard? That man was so evil. How could he have the guts to kidnap a sixteen years old girl?
But you know there must be a reason…And you wanted to find out. On the other hand you knew Kuzan better than anyone else, you knew that he wasn't a bad person… You also know it from the words that Smoker told you that he pronounced "I am still me"..
At least you hope he had a good reason. There is a part of your brain that wonders, what if he became really evil? what if he has his own agenda and he doesn't care more about other's lives….what if he doesn't care more about you?
He had left you when he left the Navy, he had told you that he couldn't be by your side anymore, that he needed to be alone, that he needed to be away from all of that. In your heart, you knew he loved you when he said those words. but now? Now you're not sure anymore.
And that's exactly why you needed answers. You needed to meet him, no matter what. You then take your leave of the marine, thanking him and reassuring him that you were ok and making a plan in mind to have a face to face meeting with Kuzan.

Leakings and the British Press
I tend to do some of my best thinking in the shower in the morning. Not sure if it has to do with my brain being fresh in the morning or if the water just pounds good ideas into my brain.
Anyways, after watched both the Anderson Cooper interview and the Michael Strahan interview, both twice, something Harry kept saying over and over again in both interviews stuck with me.
Harry was saying that the palaces, aka William, Charles, and the other royals, would continually brief against, mostly Meghan but Harry as well. Harry claimed that the palaces would collaborate with the British press and plant false stories about Meghan to take attention away from the other senior royals. He said they did this to distract from negative stories about the other senior royals. It was a cover up at Meghan’s expense.
Now I have spent the past few hours racking my brain trying to think about these “negative” stories about the other royals.
As we know, Catherine rarely has anything negative written about her. The top stories that come to mind are “Three Kitchens Kate” her being “work shy” and of course her “fight” with Rose Hanbury.
Charles, well I don’t think anything bad about him came out until after Harry left which was the donations for favors scandal.
William, yeah other than him being work shy or having a temper, and his kids going to a posh expensive school that he pays for out of his own pocket, but that is about all I can think about.
Camilla, well she tends to keep her nose clean as well.
The British press have all expressed their confusion as well over these claims. They keep saying “what negative articles about the other royals!?”
However, all the articles that made Meghan look bad were all of her own doing.
She is the one who demanded a big tiara. She is the one who yelled at The Queen’s chef about the taste of eggs. She is the one who made Catherine and Charlotte cry. She is the one who cried about no one asking if she was okay in a poverty stricken country where girls are raped and murdered daily. She is the one who had a $300k baby shower and her security for it was paid for by the UK taxpayers. She is the one who broke royal protocol over and over again by walking in front of Harry in the processional line and to greet a King. She is the one who planned surprised engagements on days other senior royals have very important speeches or engagements or tours. She is the one who cleared out an entire section at Wimbledon because she was too important to sit with the peasants. She is the one who lied to the palaces about work she knew she was not allowed to do and did it anyways. She is the one who lied on court documents. She is the one who has changed the story more than once and when her inconsistencies are pointed out it isn’t her being a liar but the press being racist.
So how exactly by reporting on the truth were the other palaces leaking or throwing her under the bus? Sure a couple of the instances happened behind closed doors so obviously those were leaked but, from memory, this was around the time that Meghan had started her own PR against the BRF and how they were threatened by her and her star power. She was saying her and Harry left KP because William was a bully. So we got the leaks of the tiara, the egg issue, and Catherine & Charlotte crying.  However, all the other ones, and many more, were there for us to witness with our own eyes and put two and two together. We didn’t need the British press to point out that when another senior royal, especially Catherine or Camilla had something important scheduled, Meghan would show up somewhere as a surprise!
KP even issued denials about stories that WERE true. The stories that Catherine and Meghan were fighting was true and KP issued a statement saying it was a lie. I think the only stories that were false were the copper bath tub and yoga floor, which many people believed Meghan and Harry planted themselves.
So I guess I am just super confused over the "fake" stories about Meghan? I can't recall a single fake article other than the bathtub.
I love how Harry has this attitude that the world cannot form opinions on their own and that us peons believe everything that we read.
This is the dude that fell for a fake phone call and believed in an island doesn’t exist. No questions asked. But yeah…we are the chumps.

I will make this one post criticising The Sign because there is one criticism about it that I think is worth sharing and that's about why the story kind of falls apart for me. (honestly not sure if posting this is a good idea but... yeah, anyway, tw for discussions of rape)
I wasn't really disappointed by the finale, I was actually really happy that no one died, but one of the main reasons is that I didn't expect much from it. I knew very early on that I wouldn't be overwhelmed by the ending because to me, this series is a perfect example of art that sets up a conflict it isn't ready to resolve because the people making it aren't ready to resolve it in real life.
A lot of this show is based around Tharn's struggle for agency. He's stripped of his autonomy by Chalothorn, who puts Tharn in a position where going for what he wants endangers the people he loves. He cannot decide freely, he's always bound by the fear of losing someone, of causing the people around him pain, and Tharn has been through so much he doesn't dare to fight back anymore.
And this is just my personal view, I know other people have different reads on this story, but for me the only satisfying solution would have been to actually give Tharn his agency back. Really make it his decision how to end the story - and not in an 'oh, he talked Chalothorn into letting him go' kind of way but in a real 'he gets to choose his life no matter what the others want for him, no matter how dangerous it is' kind of way. In a way that makes it clear that he gets to make his choice even if it hurts others.
And I pretty much knew I wouldn't get that from the show after their first police case, because the people who made the show obviously don't share my believe on how important giving back agency to abuse victims is. They didn't really care about the (re-traumatised) victims at all, they stuck to the idea that catching the bad guys is the most important thing. That rape can be prevented or solved by more control from outside.
And this is not surprising because it's the common opinion when it comes to rape. It's a power fantasy, really. To be able to protect the innocent by punishing the bad guys. It's the only solution most TV shows have when it comes to sexual abuse. Even The Warp Effect, which did a really good job talking about consent on the whole, kind of threw up its hands in the face of something like rape and said 'guess the only solution is to turn back time so it never happens'.
And I personally think that this is because the real solution - fighting to give people back their agency - hurts. It means giving up control and accepting that there is no way to always protect those we love.
Tharn should have got the chance to decide. Even if it meant someone dying. Even if it meant him leaving Phaya forever. He should have got the chance to make that decision actively and with Phaya accepting it.
Anyway, I'm gonna go back to thinking about how much I still love this show now, because it brought me such an immense amount of joy and I still have a lot of gif sets to reblog.

The Sounds of Justice (3)
Tumblr media
Warnings: canon typical violence, cursing, non-consensual drugging, descriptions of character death, car crashes, lying, manipulation, mentions and descriptions of jail, guns, yandere themes, mafia AU, mafia Rafael Barba (trust me, he needs the warning), mentions of rape (not to the reader), and unwanted advances (nothing happens to the reader).
Chapter 3
“Is Abby usually that…” Sonny struggled to find the right word.  “Excitable?”
“How do you mean?”  Bishop asked with protectiveness barely concealed in her voice.
“When I showed her the analysis machines that we use, she linked her fingers, stretched out her arms, stared at the machines, and then said, “You are my babies and I am your benevolent ruler!”
Tony chuckled, “That’s our Abby.”
“Speaking of tours, we give you the tour.  We’ll break into groups or pairs.”
You ended up paired with Fin and he escorted you around the precinct, pointing out the important places and most notably, the break room.
“What did you do before you worked here?”  He asked.
“I worked for the Behavioural Analysis Unit as a profiler.  You?”
“Narcotics.  Worked there for over ten years.”
You let out a low whistle, “That would’ve been rough.”
“No rougher than working sex crimes.”
You leaned against the island in the break room, “Have you ever had a case where you realise that your case is actually part of a bigger one?”
“I hate those.  It means more people have suffered.  Usually there’s politics at play as well which makes it more complicated than it needs to be.”
The two of you lapsed into silence.
“What do you think about this one?” Fin asked.
You rubbed your eyes and pinched the bridge of your nose with your fingers, “I can already tell that it’s a bad one.  Not only has your guy become our guy but Abby has located three other cases with a few similarities in the tri-state area.”
“She works fast.”  Fin remarked approvingly.  “We only recorded the third case a couple of days ago.  Seeing as you guys are the feds, I’m guessing you have access to that data base.”
“She does.”  You agreed “She’s a sleuth in the truest sense of the word.  And yes, we do.  If it helps, we don’t spend our time trawling through your data bases just because we can.”
“I’m not sure whether to be relieved or insulted by that.  Do you think this case is part of something bigger?”
“The murders appear random.  So far there’s nothing that connects them which means there’s nothing to tie them to our unsub.”
“Unsub?”
“Old habit.  It means ‘unknown subject.’ Since there’s no connection yet, I only have a vague idea of a profile.”
“How does that work?  The profiling?”
“Basically I gather all the information in my head, piece together bits of information that seem like they belong to the same group and create a portrait based on that.  With the right amount of information, I can determine ethnicity, age, height and build and behavioural patterns.  But I’ll only do it once I’m one hundred percent sure and I’ve collaborated with my team.  Otherwise I risk getting it wrong and starting a witch hunt.”
“In all my years in narcotics, I’ve never seen anything like this.”  Fin revealed, “The amount of sophistication that an operation like this would take speaks to me of a professional touch.”
“Do you think a gang could be behind this?”
Fin shook his head as he leaned against the cupboards and rested his hands on the bench behind him, “While I’ve seen some sophisticated gangs with the technology to pull something like this off and the ability to stay one step ahead of law enforcement, I feel like we’re missing something crucial.”
“What if it’s more than one gang?  United under a particular person?”
Fin nodded slowly as he thought it over, “Smaller gangs can slip under the radar and they’d be more inclined to work for someone bigger in exchange for protection.  Especially if they’re working with rival gangs under the leadership of our mystery guy.  Question is: who?  Who would have that kind of power to unite them?”
You let out a moan, “Which brings us back to our original problem?”
“Not only that.  We’re no closer to figuring out why and how your boy was involved.”
“Well, how did you find out about your guy?”
“Witness called in a failed rape.  Said that the intruder burst into his home and shot straight towards him.  Grabbed his clothes and tore them.  Just before things could get worse, the intruder keels over and dies.”
“Just like that?”
“Just like that.” Fin confirmed.  “Victim was pretty shaken.”
“Yeah, I’ll bet.”
Footsteps reached yours and Fin’s ears at the same time and Tony appeared in the doorway to the break room.  You knew it was serious when he didn’t make a quip about you finding the break room first like he normally would have.
“Anonymous caller just phoned in that there is another victim.”
“Same MO?” Fin questioned.
“Looks like it,”  Tony replied heavily.

I noticed you removed all discussions mentioning Boxley, why?
Did it make you look really bad when you were repeatedly telling them they didn't understand their own feelings because they didn't agree with you?
Do you think people shouldn't be held to account for everything they've ever said in the past or something? or just you?
You Dont seem to have any shame in displaying Boxley's cherrypicked words on your website where you continue to speculate on him not understanding his own feelings, only this time in a place you can fully control the narrative.
Actually, I think you just can't search for shit
Here's a post about Boxley

If we're talking about accountability, surely you seen my two recent posts about how Opa sexually assaulted Jolly and how Glip + Iz directly knowingly lied about Iz getting rape art made about Rina. I think that if we want to talk about accountability that we should talk about those things too.
Did it make you look really bad when you were repeatedly telling them they didn't understand their own feelings because they didn't agree with you?
Abuse can and does happen without the victim recognizing it as abuse. Often. Do you think Marl was only abusive to Glip when Glip realized they where being abused? That the years of abuse Marl inflected on Glip weren't actually abusive behavior until Glip recognized it as such? Abuse victims often struggle to recognize their own abuse. It is why people struggle to leave their abusers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this is fucking abusive. End of sentence.
Your argument that people can only be abused if they recognize it as abuse only serves to protect abusers. I guess hey, if nothing else you guys are at least consistent about being pro-abuse.
Do you think people shouldn't be held to account for everything they've ever said in the past or something? or just you?
Well, considering that you where wrong about the Boxley posts being deleted, the hypocrisy argument goes out the door.
But you don't really get it, do you?
This isn't about something stupid Glip said one time years ago. This is about two different documented patterns of behavior of Glip protecting abusive individuals in their community and using their roleplay projects to groom children for their fucking grooming fetish. Glip has engaged in both patterns for years over the span of the last decade. And are still doing both. Right now. At this moment.
Years ago, Lain spoke up about Marl exposing her to dog porn. Even though Glip fucking knew that Marl was using their pet dog in porn, Glip decided to use their platform to slander Lain. Called her some atrocious things. Anything to protect Marl.
But who cares, it was years ago. Glip even said they fucked u-
Recently, Rina spoke up about Iz sexually abusing her. Even though Glip fucking knew that Iz had written a rape VN about Rina and commissioned rape art to project onto her, Glip decided to use their platform and outright lied about Rina's claims. Even though Glip had screenshots of Iz admitting that it made those pieces of rape art thinking about Rina. Anything to protect Iz.
Recently, Jolly spoke out about what the Floraverse community and specifically Opa exploited them. It's obvious from the basic facts of the story that Opa was the one with the power in the situation. Jolly was 19-20, Opa was nearly 40, they had sexual relations. Glip decided to use their platform to actively wish that Jolly fucking died when they attempted suicide because of the abuse inflicted by them by Opa. Anything to protect Opa.
Years ago, Glip ran a roleplay group about Pokemon. Glip was the DM in this roleplay group, and allowed children to partake. Glip decided to include sexual, inappropriate elements into the story of this roleplay group despite the fact the roleplay group allowed for children to partake. Glip may have tired to separate this sexual content from the main content, but did so extremely poorly in an ineffective way. This lead to very young kids being introduced to things they where not ready for, and has negatively impacted their perception of sex growing up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.....But who cares, it was years ago. Glip even said they fucked u-
Glip, today runs a roleplay group and webcomic called Floraverse. Glip is essentially the DM in this roleplay group, and allows children to partake. Glip includes sexual, inappropriate elements into the story of this roleplay group despite the fact the roleplay group allows for children to partake. Glip may have tired to separate this sexual content from the main content, but did so extremely poorly in an ineffective way. This lead to very young kids being introduced to things they where not ready for, and has negatively impacted their perception of sex growing up - and is still doing so today. Right now. There is literally fucking vore in the latest VN.
Tumblr media
You Dont seem to have any shame in displaying Boxley's cherrypicked words on your website where you continue to speculate on him not understanding his own feelings, only this time in a place you can fully control the narrative.
You're right. I don't, and everyone should go read this page if if they want to learn how you guys are a cult and this page if they want to learn a more detailed history of how Glip has enabled + protected abusers within their community.
If there's anything fake or incorrect on our site, let me know with the evidence! We care about the truth, which is why there are a lot of sources to the documented behavior of the Floraverse community on there- because we believe your abhorrent behavior largely speaks for itself.
We'll be happy to make any corrections that may be necessary :)

Me getting death threats, rape, transphobic and islamophobia anon hate for saying that Tiffany G is a bad candidate and AO3 censorship will lead to even more strict censorship because I'm Asian and I experienced first hand state wide censorship. Some terminally online real freak:
"YOU ARE A PROSHITTER! YOU DESERVE TO GET ALL THE DISTURBING THREATS! THAT'S THE CONSEQUENCES! FUCKING PEDO! PEDO PEDO! THATS WHAT YOU DESERVE."
Funny I'm not even making nor engaging with any child/adult fanfic content nor calling myself a proship. But not good enough, eh? Those kind of people doesn't care about the well being others. Only rush fix... They feel 'powerful'.
This is what happened when young Zoomers are left to do their activism without supervision
Sure, rape threats is getting 'called out' i guess, they deleted the 'its the consequences of your action part' but these below pretty much telling. Yeah they deleted comments below as well

The question of justifiability is strange. Oppression doesn't justify these things, but cultivates it. Your morality isn't just what you would or wouldn't do, right? "X or Y hurt me, so I must hurt them." isn't the lone thought that leads to someone justifying an attack, bad things are bad, but not everyone will be able to develop that frame of reference for morality.
Imagine someone being starved, deprived of food, water, heat, left to rot with the bare mininum in a cage with their only human contact being violence. The question of their retaliation would usually be framed with the question of whether or not it's justfied, a lot of people would say yes, I guess. But does framing it that way actually make the situation any better? Because you could say that it'd be justified if it was bare mininum self-defence, but is someone who has lived in that way actually going to be someone who even developed their ability to idk think about those things?
I'm willing to bet that when it comes to mental illness that you probably understand that someone's actions don't exist in a vacuum, right. Sorry.
Part One:
I understand that individuals’ actions don’t exist in a vacuum. In fact that’s a large part of why so many of the responses I’ve gotten to this subject are so upsetting and have severely impacted my mental health. (I’ll get to that more in “Part Two”)
I’m not interested in framing things only in terms of justifiability, but I also don’t think that’s a framework that can be totally disregarded—it’s still an important lens to employ when talking about any conflict.
And you mention mental illness. Sure, that doesn’t exist in a vacuum, but if a mentally ill person rapes someone or murders them I believe it’s necessary to not give them the power or opportunity to continue to do that. They deserve care for their illness, a safe place for them to heal, & respect for their autonomy & dignity. But they do not deserve people turning a blind eye to the abuse or enabling them in it, right?
So it’s important to recognize when that happens so that it can be prevented.
And I’m not disagreeing with the idea of understanding Hamas’ actions in part as a product of Palestinian trauma, but we can’t shrink that discussion of context to one group or brush aside how these actions are part of a cycle that is creating more violence & trauma for both Palestinians and Israelis—as well as broader Jewish, Arab, and Muslim communities.
As if Israel’s excessive violence isn’t also a product of trauma. As if both Palestinians and Israelis didn’t enter the conflict severely traumatized by a lot of similar things, and haven’t continued to traumatize each other over and over throughout the conflict.
Not to mention, another problematic aspect of this shrinking of context in these asks & comments that lay the actions of Hamas at the feet of Israel is that it treats Palestinians like they don’t have free will, as if they’re animals or a force of nature who don’t know better or can’t avoid committing atrocities. And that’s dehumanizing. They can—and most of them do. Most Palestinians are not doing what Hamas is doing. Plenty hate Hamas, and are regularly traumatized by them.
Israel is not an all-powerful puppet master or the source of all problems in this conflict. It has more power, but it’s not the only entity with any agency here. There is absolutely a cycle of violence where Hamas is motivated by trauma from Israel’s violence, and Israel is motivated by trauma from Hamas’s violence—and it goes on and on and on.
Part Two:
I need you to understand that the context of me talking about Israel-Palestine this week (my post about Hamas) was seeing a bunch of leftists swallowing & regurgitating tropes that come from ancient antisemitic libels, and these leftists insisting that Israelis can only be understood as colonial invaders (nay, even comparable to Nazis) who forfeited their right to live by settling in Israel, while Palestinians can only be understood as victims who must be given carte blanche to expel Israelis from the region “by any means necessary” (which for Hamas, does not exclude genocide). The context of my post was leftists being ignorant and acting like we should turn a blind eye to anything bad Hamas does and enable them in it, and leftists saying a bunch of heinous, antisemitic shit. So I made a post telling leftists: don’t do that.
Anything anyone has said to me about Hamas or Israel or Palestine since is said in the context of me telling leftists who are saying antisemitic shit and want to give power to an organization that has not been shy about what it will do with that power why it’s a bad idea to get in bed with them and lift them up as heroes who need to be given that power.
So surely you can understand how upsetting it is for me to be facing a bunch of antisemitism, for me to say “hey, let’s support the Palestinians in a way that doesn’t make my life dangerous here and enable genocide against my people there” and then to be flooded with hundreds of people telling me to kill myself, that every Israeli deserves to be shot, that Jews control the media and banks, that I’m part of a conspiracy to deflect attention away from Israel’s crimes, that I didn’t mention [thing I said multiple times], that I didn’t take into account [thing I clearly am taking into account], that I wasn’t hard enough on Palestine, that I wasn’t hard enough on Israel, that I’m too hard on both of them, Israelis telling me they’re worried about their friends and family who are missing and presumed dead, and then people like you coming up and being like “yeah, but what about context?” or “okay that sucks, but like… why are you surprised? it’s Israel’s fault”
If you want to talk about context, that is the context you are entering here. So please understand why my patience with this line of philosophizing is paper thin.

@forgotten-seas Okay, where do I start.
As a former russian-supporting Ukrainian, I know a lot of russian artists, whom I still find not bad people. I know that most of russians I am personally familiar with don't support "special operation" - despite the fact there is a Huge cultural abyss between us, which I recognized completely after February 24th.
Nevertheless, I don't interact with them at all. I don't reblog russian artists because
If a russian artist lives in russia, they go to the store, cafeteria, pharmacy, barbershop, etc. They go there and they pay for the food and service, because they need to eat, drink, etc. Where do you think those money a service providing place has received go next? Right, the state budget. Now the next question: Where does the money come from for tanks, missiles and other shit? The money for Viagra which is given to russian soldiers for massive rapes of women, children, men and animals? Do you think that all the money is taken out of the air?
I can't forbid all people to support russians, because "I can't control human hearts"(c) But it is in my power to regularly spread information about what is happening in my country. For people like you to write to me "this is hatred of Russians!", to justify yourself in front of your gnawing conscience that you may be financing genocide. It's good. This means my job here is done. (although let's be objective, am I promoting hatred of russians? I'm just sharing information, events, thoughts and feelings of people who are directly in Ukraine. If I was spreading hatred, I would say something like "ALL RUSSIANS ARE NAZI!!! WE NEED TO DROP A NUCLEAR BOMB ON THEM!!! IF YOU MEET A RUSSIAN ON A STREET - RAPE AND KILL THEM IMMEDIATELY!!!💪💪💪👊👊" This is example of spreading hatred (and it's definitely not a copy from russian propaganda)
"Hating a whole group of people based on a few is wrong" - excuse me, do you mean ~80 210 (+~810) russians who came to kill Ukrainians? Is this a few for you? Wow. :/
No one can guarantee that a russian artist doesn't donate to "💪💪👊👊🇸🇰🇸🇰🇸🇰" (I'm sorry Slovakia, it's for the joke) - russian army, or to military family members, etc. Also I don't really get why you mentioned transgender women. (You highlight them as if you want to say that cis people never kill. It's kind of transphobic.) I suppose, if they still active on Tumblr, they weren't mobilized and there is truly a possibility they don't hurt Ukrainians in any way... but can you guarantee it?
Well, a poor russian family gets fridges and toilets from Ukraine, and you may guess what is the price.
Oh, I swear, all Ukrainians don't forget that russians are the real people. And we will not be able to. Never.
I agree there are lot of russians who have family or relatives in Ukraine. And this is why I think dropping a nuclear bomb on kremlin is a bad idea. Also, as someone who lost her home, I genuinely don't think people, who fight in полк Кастуся Каліноўскага or in russian volunteer corps on Ukrainian side, deserve to meet rubles and ashes instead of home. This is soul-breaking. I wouldn't want this for my greatest enemy.
It's only natural that I may sound like an aggressive freak to people who didn't experience genocide. That's why I also recommend you to not talk about russians at all with Ukrainians. Believe me, most of them will seem way more "inadequate" for you - I was slightly touched by war, when many of them were punched. And I don't recommend you to reblog russian artists and support genocide... if you want to have good relationship with Ukrainians.
Also if you know some russians - don't forget to ask them whose Crimea is!

I dont understand HOW sjm has SO many fans! Like, all those celebrities who have done a bad thing (Amber Heard, Chris Brown) or believe in something that is seen as negative and hurts other people (JK Rowling) are terrorised by the media and its people! But sjm? No, she totally didn't do ANYTHING bad or terrible! 😱
It's not like she copied other authors works and implemented them into her own story! It's not like she created the Illyrians, who are POC (apparently) only to HATE on them and make them out to be misogynistic and abusive to females?! Other authors would be getting called racist by now! It's not like she sexualized Nesta being skinny and even body shamed her in the books! It's not like she acts like her MCs are feminists, only to be brought down for a man who then impregnates them and lies to them about their life being in danger! Oh, HOW feminist of you Rhys! How feminist of you Sarah Janet MyAss! She should be getting called a misogynist, but SOMEHOW she isn't? She also makes out that woman can't be powerful unless they know how to fight! Wow. Thanks Sjm, I've always known I was weak during my fight from poverty, but it's ALWAYS good to get an amateurs opinion.
And then there's the whole Mor thing, with terrible LGBT representation. Her own fans were not sure whether Mor was a lesbian or Bisexual because she just didn't explain it well enough when writing that conversation with Feyre, as Mor states that she's attracted to both genders, and YET her reaction to her sleeping with Helion REALLY doesn't show that she's bisexual, as to me personally it seemed like she was scarred from having sex with a man instead of having sex with HELION himself.
And finally. . . 😤 ignoring the trauma of LITERALLY every character except Feyre and Rhys, despite being VERY aware that her series is popular and MANY young adults and teenagers would read these books and think 'Oh, I guess this behaviour is okay', which, it's isn't! Rhys sexually assaulting Feyre, Cassian gaslighting Nesta, Azriel being willing to screw Elain but then ditch her. . . none of that is okay! But young people don't know that and aren't aware of this, so they believe EVERY single toxic and abusive thing that sjm tells them, and THATS exactly why Feysand and Nessian still exists!
Nesta: suicidal, depressed, sexual assault victim, has been body shamed and over sexualized by her mate, has PTSD, may have a food disorder
Lucien: possibly suicidal, sexual assault victim, abused and used by LITERALLY every single person he has ever met
Tamlin: borderline depressed, PTSD, sexual assault victim, may be suicidal
SJM: Oh, that's so sad 😥! But let me just ignore this *wacks away the coloured letters* and I'll forget about it! 😚 Let's focus more on Rhys, Feyre and Gwyn!!
And I'm not invalidating Rhys, Feyre or ESPECIALLY Gwyns trauma. Gwyn SHOULD get a healing arc. But SJM completely forgot about the other threes trauma, especially Lucien and Tamlins, because she knew that if she spoke again about how poor Tamlin and Lucien are, feysand stans would be on her ass being like 'Lucien left feyre to die! Tamlin locked her up!'. But instead of giving the two characters some closure, she just decided to make them the NC's lap dogs (Nesta and the Valkyries too).
And I'm not saying this because I hate Gwyn (Love her, she deserves better than Assriel and having Eris as her grandpapa, Lucien would be a better choice) but SJM DOES kind of make what happened to Gwyn stand out more than the trauma that Nesta and Emerie went through. . . I was rereading Acosf, and I ALWAYS got a bit teary when it came to Gwyn speaking about her trauma, but with Nesta?
The fact that Thomas nearly raped her was basically GLOSSED over and Emerie having an abusive and misogyny family who clipped her was just summed up in one page (if I remember correctly) whilst mentions of what had happened to Gwyn were scattered all over the book, and since this was NESTAS journey, I was surprised at first when I first read the book (acosf), cause I didn't really care about Gwyn then, and I was just hopping from excitement about Nestas trauma being mentioned more often (since I was scared sjm would never mention her trauma again), or even handled better, but it just. . . was a lot of Feysand and Gwyn propaganda, and Nesta slander. Yeah 😭
Sjm EVEN focuses more on LoA and Helion than Lucien, Tamlin and Nesta, who ARE essentially some of the main characters 😭
Anyway, SJM ignoring all this trauma that the characters have or even acting like it isn't important, is going to teach those people that trauma should be ignored and forgotten, that if you're suicidal, NO ONE cares! If you're being body shamed, NO ONE cares! If you're being harassed or sexually assaulted, NO ONE cares! If someone is being racist to you, NO ONE cares!
And I think that THIS is why SJM should just stop WRITING BOOKS! Because people DO care about your trauma, and SJM is going to make you think otherwise. The author may not say it directly, but her work is proven to be misogynistic, racist, sexist, and as they say, 'the words and actions within a book says more about the author than the actual book'.

Robot Chicken #44: “Rabbits on a Roller Coaster” | August 26, 2007 - 11:30PM | S03E3
“The Worst Halloween” is about a boy who gets stuck with a Pink Power Ranger costume on Halloween. He has a bad night, including an almost-rape and finding out that his mom died. Seth called this one one of his favorite sketches. The writer of the sketch said he wrote it without any idea of where it was going and that “it shows”. I agree. Not particularly funny!
I don’t normally highlight quick channel change gags unless they actually make me laugh BUT the Judge banging a gavel only to have his bench turn into a Wack-A-Mole game honestly did make me laugh. The animation is great, and the gag worked for me. Sorry.
“Turbo Teen” is a parody of a relatively obscure Saturday Morning show of the same name where a teenager can turn into a car. In this one he’s drunk leaving a college party. When he becomes a car, a number of terrible things happen to him until he’s crushed into a cube. He changes back briefly and we see him now dismembered and mangled. For some reason I remember seeing this sketch randomly. Like the little bit where he’s in that abstract void writhing around was in my brain already. Most sketches on this show are just “character gets hurt over and over” and this is one of those.
“Dick Tracy’s a Dick” is about Dick Tracy off-handedly giving mean-spirited nicknames to his fellow police officers who didn’t ask for them. Honestly, this is a pretty funny premise. I should’ve guessed the punchline of the sketch before it happened, but this show has a way of lulling me into assuming nothing on it will make me laugh. I actually laughed at this sketch. I laughed twice at this episode. WOW. Not sure how it stacks up to Tracey Zooms In.
“Trakker in Love” is the finale, and it’s over three minutes long. It feels more like two sketches jammed together, starting with a sequence where a younger character (I didn’t watch M.A.S.K. as a kid, sorry) is getting in trouble for having thrown a party there the previous night. The next scene feels like the beginning of a new sketch, involving one of the members of M.A.S.K. internet dating a fat woman. This one really sucks, and doesn’t seem to have much of a central idea. It feels ridiculous to say this about a show I’ve gone on the record of not liking very much, but it truly drags the episode down.
After the credits is a parody of Joss Wheadon’s “Mutant Enemy Productions” vanity card. I remember seeing the “Mutant Enemy Productions" logo before, but I don’t remember why or where. I’m guessing one of his shows aired before something else I liked? Anyway, its not all that funny, just sorta relies on knowing the reference.
And that’s this one. Whew! Nasty show!

MAIL BAG
I keep forgetting to address my precious mail baggers. I am so sorry. I cherish you all.
please do a top 10 for saul of the molemen!
Literally impossible. No way.
“Wildly unfunny” I bet you one of them yank fellas that just can’t understand the intricacies of Georgian life. I wish I could help you enjoy squidbillies, but the fact is you’re too much a dumsumbitch.
What is this even quoting? I literally searched all of my Squidbillies posts for the phrase “wildly unfunny” and it the only thing that came up was I said it in a Mail Bag referring to Minoriteam. Shut up please! I even *sorta* like Squidbillies
Is that the same comic con where you filmed yourself calling the aliens from Star Trek "f*ggots" because they were doing a Q&A?
This is in reference to my post about Tim & Eric Awesomecon/Comic-con 2007. No. How dare you. First of all, that wasn’t me. Second of all, that was at Great America theme park. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT

I would go into more details, but that leads to spoilery territory and I’ll only give them out if you or someone else requests them (and it will be under a cut).
Ohh I would love to hear them!!
Haha, alrighty you asked for it! I’ll be putting the answer under a cut. And for those who want to dive in, this is a response to Why Zuko is Acting Out at the end of chapter 6 in Hearts on the Mend.
Also, the following content can be upsetting to some, so please tread carefully and as always, mind the tags:
So, first off, Zuko is a victim of abuse in this fic, which happened to him when he was a child. I have already tagged this in the story itself as “implied/referenced child abuse” and “implied/referenced rape/non-con” and someday Zuko will explain about that, but I will say for the sake of keeping it more sanitized here, he has some incredibly averse reactions to being touched or cornered.
However, he cannot escape the fact that he is a member of the royal family, he is the next heir to the Fire throne, and he will need to have heirs of his own someday. Thus, his current predicament.
Despite this, however, he does not hate Sokka as it seems to be implied by his words or actions. Zuko is actually what I call “scent attracted” to Sokka; he has an incredibly strong reaction to Sokka’s scent in general and it compounds his own physical attraction to him.
As you can guess, this is also what Sokka is currently going through.
But then why did Zuko react so badly to Sokka’s smell at the end of chapter 6?
Well, Zuko is very stressed, and he feels as an Alpha he has a certain level of power over Sokka, and the imbalance of power is fueling his anxiety. Sokka did not hear the entire conversation between Zuko and Iroh, and before he heard what he did, Iroh (being an uncle) was just teasing his nephew a little to try and help with his tension. It backfired causing Zuko lashed out at someone who he thought wasn’t there and couldn’t be hurt by his words, which we all know as readers that is not the case.
Zuko’s biggest fears are turning into the people who once harmed him; of becoming someone who abused their power in order to physically abuse someone who cannot fight back. He’s not being stoic, he’s holding himself back. He’s not being stuck up, he’s trying to ensure he won’t become a danger. It isn’t uncommon for victims to feel like they are the ones who fucked up, like they are the reason bad things happened to them and that they’re bad people who are going to turn into those same abusers.
Zuko has a lot of trauma to unpack and heal from, and as the prince it’s not something anyone can easily speak about for fear of listening ears.
Someday, Sokka will hear Zuko’s story, and it’s gonna be hard on both of them. But this is a story about overcoming trauma, healing, and learning to handle relationships when the worst of us rears it’s ugly head. That’s why it’s called Hearts on the Mend. There’s so much healing to be done. Hopefully, you and everyone else reading will be able to appreciate just how much Zuko is trying once the full reality of the situation comes to the fore.
Thank you again for reading! As always, if anyone has any questions they are free to ask, and I am always willing to answer even if it’s full of spoilers because I like talking about my writing.

This week has been kind of an unplannedly thoughtful week, but there's one more and might be the one most worth to share.
These two OOP little hardcover blocks arrived in my mailbox Monday this week:
Tumblr media
You have exactly one guess about due to whose ominous latent salesmen powers these are here now. =P
... is what this should have been all about and nothing more. Until I actually had them in my hands and things just became a bit contemplative.
I didn't seek them out specifically, I just coincidentally saw a manga bundle auction listing including them, but the moment I saw it I was suddenly kind of quite invested about wanting to win it. Which is because while I had all sorts of reservations about watching the drama adaption (which still remains entirely unrewatchable for me due to the bad hair) I made a peculiar observation: I had really wanted to like it. So I checked the manga out instead, as the opportunity unfolded by chance.
And also had just happened to have just started watching I Told the Sunset About You.
Taking a little detour to your posts on that one: I'm entirely with you. All those suffering sob stories (as I call them) are exhausting. For the same reasons. For me, just less so because they depress me, but rather that they just annoy me.
I also vastly prefer the HEAs now, but that took a long, long detour from viciously hating them first. Because with having been every bit textbook aroace as you possibly could be (had there been a textbook) the message those narratives put out was just about always:
"See, this is happiness and you being an oxymoron to it has nothing to do with the world, society or anything but you being too dumb to solve an equation as basic as 1+1."
And then I spent my teens and most of the decade after as a somewhat disgruntled cumulonimbus.
Looking back now, Seven Days actually kind of marked the end of the first half of those two decades. The German paperback release was very hotly anticipated at the time, quite the notorious best seller it also got a hardcover re-edition 5 years later. (Although the license appears to have expired by now, so everything is OOP.) Its hype reached way beyond the infamous fujoshi-niche crowds and garnered attention from quite a spectrum of other audiences. Critiques were across the board positive, and even the reserved ones sounded more like desperately trying to find fault in it just because it was hyped (or because it was BL).
What I however found there was a bundle of utter incomprehensibility. What do you mean 7 days are enough, because the first only took 1? That's not even enough to judge a person's compatibility for a deeper friendship, much less something that's supposed to last you a lifetime?? Whyever Seiryo are you praising this list of notorious traits about the other Yuzuru, when, clearly, you were just pretty hurt by it? And why the hell do you believe that Yuzuru, where did any sense of plausibility go to? And what's this weird box full of sentimentalism to begin with? The critiques weren't any bit less bewildering. It's apparently awesome for being a very singular BL that isn't about porn, rape/dubcon or teary ukes and all I thought was "What, that's the barometer to judge things? What sort of asinine genre is that??" (ahahahaha…), others were saying they didn't think it was bad, but also went on to argue, that this was only hyped and famed because it was BL, you could replace any of the dudes with a girl and get a super bland average typical romance plot nobody would ever throw a fuss about. Which got back argued as to how sheer outrageously novel a healthy relationship depiction like this was even across all romance, because it was characters on equal eye level, and I was just frowning again. It's not that diamond levels rare with male+female? It just more often happens in these mostly obscure narratives where the female isn't a completely brain-damaged dumb moron whose only worth seems to be obnoxiously produce bubbles, flowers and sparkles fawning over that cool guy? And which titles are across the board are struggling to survive due to bad sales here? Why is hardly anyone paying attention to those? But most of all: You almost make it sound like unhealthiness is the norm. If so, WHY ARE YOU ALL DOING THIS TO YOURSELVES? Are you all masochists or what? Oh wait, Seiyo realized he probably was one and was very happy being that. Is that what this is about??
After that I just figured, hey some people just hopelessly suck in math and will therefore dislike the poor subject and rant about it no matter what, failing to see its beauty. I just happen suck ass the same way in biochemistry. Fine. Whatever. I'll keep my hands off you. There are better things to do than this headache or annoying you any further with my silly questions whose answers never make enough sense to sink in. So I ditched the volumes and shelved the entire topic, was in peace with myself, and that was that. Or should have been. The next decade soon came over and was like: "What, you thought you could just ignore us? We're more omnipotent and unavoidable than the tax office, with an even higher sacred degree of existential self-justification of necessity. And no, unlike taxes, you can't just hire a consultant to do the obnoxious job for you." Before I knew it, I was struck with some sort of cheese allergy and exposure to most of all HEAs just inspired a "Can I have a voodoo and a hammer please?" mood. Took a while to notice and undo again. (Not that I liked the suffering sob stories any bit better all the while, but at least I usually didn't feel quite so intellectually insulted by them...)
When watching ITTSAY at first, curiously enough, the most descriptive thing that popped into my mind about the experience I was having was your "ho boy am I finding it rough going". Which was quaint, because even with cognitive empathy, and the show's mastery in the craft of inducing it, this shouldn't be so strong. The series has absolutely nothing that hits home. Not even remotely close. Until I noticed that your "the opposite of nostalgia" hit my notes perfectly, too. Just flipped over another axis: With it being about the experiences I never had and never are going to have like that. But even then that also seemed just bizarre, why would you ever miss an experience of such unhealthy suffering? Until I had this Oh-moment when I stared at the covers of the books. Because then you can also overcome it. (This makes as much sense as Pipi Longstocking's "You have to go to school/work before you can have vacation.")
But that's kind of the enjoyment I got from reading Seven Days again after over a decade. It's all still very much not me. (Probably.) But it's not incomprehensible anymore. Same for all the critiques. And I'm not having any cheese allergy over it. I can stomach it not only just fine, I even actually quite like it. ITTSAY is like a fresh pineapple fruit that is arranged and served in all sorts of artful, intricate ways to please the eye. Its taste is a juicy, well-rounded blend of sourness and sweetness on a clear texture, but you really can't eat it too much and often. Not because it ceases to taste, but because of its tongue burn properties. Seven Days is like a handful of raisins. Very simple sweetness. Strong, but still organic. Not with too much complex flavor substance to it, so you can't eat too much of it without it starting to go bland. But this handful of it is exactly something you can down at almost any time of any day as a comfortable little snack in between that's always going to feel a lot more healthy than any candy or chocolate bar or fatty chips.
... erm. TL;DR, What I mean to say is just
Thanks for reintroducing Seven Days into my life. I wouldn't go as far as to say I needed it as a marker to tell I've moved on, since I already knew that. But getting to have such a bookend epilogue to the last decade again with the same thing is surprisingly nice to have. (And just such a wild unexpected coincidence timewise since my cheese allergy was just freshly bested for good end of last year.)
And fingers crossed that you'll reach that headspace to safely watch ITTSAY one day.
Meanwhile, I'm rather seriously wondering if there will be a third Seven Days bookend. Which will be all about: Will I ever get over the bad hair? (It's freaky how fast and resolutely any sort of bugged feeling I had about ITTSAY was entirely drowned the moment I finished it and started Last Twilight in Phuket and saw the hair therein. Mercifully, it didn't stay as terrible/plot irrelevantly terrible in I Promised You The Moon. But Ouch.)
Here is me, having exchanged the Cheese Training regiment for Hair Training. An upgrade, I guess?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What a fascinating read -- the interweaving of media and life and understanding both of the pieces of pop culture and your relationship to it.
It made me think of those other pieces of media, the ones we consume when young and then rewatch but actually hold up under later examination, maybe because of the nostalgia, maybe because of actual persistent quality.

https://www.tumblr.com/apricotjamendorsements/747502338799009792/i-think-a-much-better-advocacy-slogan-for-sex-work
I think this is interesting. I want to ask — is using any other leverage besides financial need to get someone to do a given sex act standing up to this same scrutiny? A landlord says yeah ok you can stay an extra month without rent. You gotta suck my dick for it though = coercion, illegal, rape, but if he said the same thing with extra steps, ie, “you owe rent… oh you can’t pay? anyway, unrelated, yeah If you suck me off I’ll pay you the exact amount rent is” it’s suddenly “just sex”, no other context? Oh ok that’s too close. Now he refers you to his buddy who will pay. Now he just demands rent, and you happen to turn around and go “just have sex” but only if the “sex partner” in question pays a certain amount or better. And that buyer has no real way of knowing the circumstance of the woman or man (hopefully not girl or boy) is asking for a price. Why is there asking for a price, if sex is truly 100% desired?
Even when I compare to work I do for pay, that I would do some of (although in a different way) if I weren’t needing to make rent and get paid… i recognize this is exploitation. No amount of good days or silver linings or camaraderie with a boss or moments where the customer is nice or corporate does something I like for once change that. I still want a union and MORE than that I know to be free I need a society without rent. And i do resent the system that puts me here and lay a certain amount of moral culpability on anyone higher up the chain of power who does not join me in opposing it, and especially those who use their increased power to boss me around, take advantage of my position, treat me less than. Why should I recognize my position — relatively cushy compared to what I have seen of brothels even regulated Vegas ones — as exploitation and not recognize sex industry work as exploitation too? And what is it we call sexual exploitation again…?
One good thing among the bad is I am not being raped here at this job. I won’t get HIV off customers while taking the risk of working for them without a condom because it pays more. I risk knee injury and pain because I am told to not sit down for hours and can’t afford to get fired and haven’t been able to find a better job. Both are exploitation. The conditions leading to all of it should be abolished. I work toward both of those things.
I do have a coworker who has been raped by a coworker at a different job. And yeah he used his slight position over her to threaten her. There are people all over raped in exchange for promotions or not getting fired. Should we say that’s not rape, because it’s sex work, which is basically just like any regular consenting sex, because the person in question did it “willingly”, knowing the trade, and taking it? With no fighting, with seduction even. Nevermind the context.
Is the fig leaf the imaginary world where buyers don’t know the desperation of financial need and addiction is regularly involved what allow us to say “sex work is sex” (as though that means it can’t also be rape, or otherwise with dubious consent) no matter the context?
I am guessing so.
I am a real actual sex worker and I exist outside of your thought experiments. it's pretty insane of you to come into my inbox and try to convince me that the sex I agree to is the same thing as rape. If you were really motivated by compassion or empathy for me as a "victim" you would not be taking this weird intense tone. You think you're going to come up with some gotcha moment and I'll realize I really do deserve to be debanked, evicted, or banned from the US because I'm a victim.
but anyway, I'm procrastinating going back to my homework, so:
Yes, a landlord extorting sex from a tenant is sexual violence. That's not what sex work is. I feel like I shouldn't need to explain that to you. A landlord extorting sex from a tenant is only tangentially related to me going to the massage parlour and renting a space for a few hours to give handjobs.
"the buyer has no way of knowing the circumstances of the person" yes, clients should make judgements about whether a worker is doing this voluntarily, they can and they do. Similarly, if you're hooking up with someone, you should make sure they are consenting and in a good headspace
"why are they asking for a price, if the sex is 100% desired?" sex doesn't have to be "desired" to be consensual, it just has to be agreed to. I don't get turned on from giving handjobs for money, I just like money and don't mind giving handjobs. Sometimes people get turned on when they're sexually assaulted, or get sexually assaulted by people they're attracted to. 'desire' isn't what makes sex consensual, agreement is. I can see the argument for desire actually being what makes sex not rape as opposed to consent but it would be basically impossible to enforce that.
I don't agree that all paid work is exploitative. I think that's pretty assisine. I think if you are so marxismpilled that you think any waged work is exploitative you are pretty far removed from any useful definition of exploitation. Anyway, I'm an independent contractor, not a waged worker, and I have never even heard of sex workers that are waged workers. I agree that that would probably be exploitative. I agree that you should have a union. There are many sex worker unions and collectives, which you would know if you knew what you were talking about. One obstacle to these unions and collectives is criminalization.
I think abusive management is bad. The great thing about sex work is that it is really easy to change clubs if you don't like management, and it's fairly easy to do independently. I am the person with the power in a management-worker relationship because I am the one providing the service, they are just the ones who own the venue.
"I don't get raped at work" cool, me neither. Imagine if I had been raped at work and you sent me this. Psychopathic behaviour.
"I don't risk HIV at work" cool, me neither. (Well, I mean, I have like a 1 in 20000 chance, I don't know how that compares to nurses and tattoo artists.) Some people choose to have anal sex for money or for free. It's not illegal to have anal sex. Some people also have irresponsible unprotected sex. I never have, I probably wouldn't have sex with a boyfriend without a condom. I think it is immoral to have unprotected sex outside of a relationship but I don't think you should be arrested, evicted, or debanked for doing so.
"I do have a coworker who was raped at a different job." I'm sorry to hear that. I hope she has healed now. "should we not call that rape, because it happened at work?" No, and no one has ever thought that. Whether something is rape has nothing to do with the location it occured in, obviously.
I object to abusive conditions in sex work, obviously. I also object to abusive conditions in marriages, casual sex, and relationships. The Vegas ranches are NOT cushy btw. I don't know anyone who worked there but I've heard bad things. I don't want sex work regulation partially just because it would be inconvenient for me to get a licence but also because regulation is rarely on the side of the worker.
I also really don't agree that addiction is "regularly" involved. It's probably more common than in the general population. I don't know if it's more common than in restaurants or construction sites.
let me present you a different thought experiment. imagine that I will only have a sex with a guy if he buys me dinner and buys me shoes. i put that on my tinder bio, and I'm not especially picky with the guys as long they send me a pic of their ID or they have a female friend to vouch for them. maybe I lose my shoes one day and also I'm broke so I can't afford dinner, so I get on tinder. that is basically how I conduct sex work. you are perfectly justified in calling that distasteful, immoral, or degrading, but I still shouldn't be evicted, debanked, or arrested for that, and neither should the guys.

Astro notes: Sex🔥💦
Here’s a little quick astro notes post (guess you could call it a quickie 😉) nah sorry that was a really bad joke anyways here it is
@astrobydalia on Tumblr and Instagram
🔥 People with Mars-Saturn aspects, Capricorn mars or Saturn/Capricorn in the 8th house have no issue with going YEARS without having sex or without masturbating regardless of their level of libido or sex-drive.
💦 People with Lilith in Virgo have this HUGE fantasy of having sex with someone that is a virgin or less experienced. They wanna take someone that has this “innocent” energy and pervert them
🔥 On the other hand people with Lilith in Capricorn may have this fantasy of having sex with someone older or much more experienced
💦 Aries moons are the most horny people I’ve ever met. Seriously I’ve never seen a single a Aries moon who was sexually inactive or who had gone more than a month without having sex (unless of course Saturn is involved). Not to say they’re players or anything but they seem to almost need sex (moon = our emotional needs)
🔥 Everyone going off about Scorpio but y’all forget that Taurus energy can be just as seductive and magnetic. Many female sex symbols have inner placements or angles in the sign of Taurus or in Taurus degree, Venus-Jupiter aspects or Jupiter in the 2nd house (Megan Fox, Marilyn Monroe...)
💦 Also, it’s very common for sex symbols to have the ruler of the 8th house placed in the 1st house
🔥 Mars aspecting venus, moon or Neptune generally makes someone vanilla or submissive (unless others aspects say otherwise). This can also happen with moon or Venus in the 8th house
💦 I’ve noticed Mars-Saturn aspects can sometimes make someone submissive as well, since these people tend to suppress/restrict their sexuality, they may like a dominant partner that is more assertive and inhibited than them
🔥 Also, Mars-Saturn aspects can manifest as a delay in sex-life, probably the native lost their virginity later than their peers
💦 Mars-Pluto aspects makes someone likely dominant in sex or a power-bottom. They’re the definition of liking power plays
🔥 Mars-Jupiter aspects are more prone to enjoy switching between being dominant and submissive in bed
💦 The only REAL kinky people tho are those with Mars-Uranus EASY aspects or Uranus in the 8th house. Period. Fight me.
🔥 Going back to Mars-Pluto aspects, these people ARE freaks/kinky too but they can low-key or high-key be sexually deviant. They can have kinks/fetishes that involve some "force" or lots of roughness (cus like I said they like any form of power plays) TW!!! (Abuse) I once met someone with this aspect who literally had a rape fantasy
💦 Hard aspects between Mars-Saturn doesn't necessarily mean asexuality like I've often seen addressed. These aspects can manifest as the native having trouble "accessing" their sexuality, like they could have a hard time figuring out what is it that they enjoy, what's their sexual nature, etc. It may take them a lot of time and experience to figure themselves out sexually.
🔥 You may often feel attracted to the sign that’s opposite your Venus sign
💦 I’ve noticed that woman who have Sappho aspecting their big 3 or MC, if they’re not lesbian/interested in woman themselves, they can attract a lot of unwanted attention from lesbians. Specially true if Lilith is involved
🔥 Water rising in the mars persona chart is that type of person that can only have/enjoy sex with someone they love or have very deep feelings for. Otherwise they may not even be interested in sex or turned on at all. I’ve seen this people often stay sexually inactive until they find someone they love
💦 Fire rising in the mars persona chart indicates someone who doesn’t mind flings and tends to have them
🔥 Earth rising in the mars persona chart are very particular when it comes to their libido. They either find it hard to enjoy sex or they are often sexually inactive and there doesn’t seem to be a particular reason for that. They can often come off as dry or cold in their sexual approach. Can also indicate someone who likes the idea of getting something out of a sexual relationship
💦 ALTHOUGHHhhh I’ve noticed people with Virgo rising in the mars persona chart are often known to be VERY promiscuous

Forgotten Promises
Tumblr media
Pairing: Shigaraki Tomura x reader
Warnings: yandere, noncon, kidnapping, mentions of torture, Shigaraki being a creep.
Words: 1.2k
Summary: You were well aware one day he would catch you, a traitor who was ought to be his confidante but chose to abandon him instead.
________
"Long time no see."
You didn't shiver when you heard his voice, your arms and legs tied tightly to some kind of bedstead where you laid helpless like a sacrificial lamb on the altar. You knew this was going to happen one day even with all that crowd of heroes surrounding you to protect you from Shigaraki. Of course, they only bought you some time because those who betrayed the League lived very shortly. As for those who betrayed its psychopatic leader personally the way you did...
Oh, you were long prepared for what was coming for you.
"Hi, Tomura."
You didn't see his figure in the darkness of the room - or whatever this godforsaken place was - but you could clearly feel his presence somewhere close. Shigaraki must have waited for this moment for so long he was savoring every second of it now, watching you lay defenseless in front of him, unable to even move a finger, left completely at his mercy. You could imagine the expression on his face, the things he was going to tell you, pointing out how incredibly stupid it was of you to betray All For One and become one of the Heroes' squad instead.
The things he shouted when he saw you leaving in the middle of the battle were much harsher.
"You're a fucking whore!" Face distorted with hatred, he tried chasing you despite knowing you had already been out of his reach. "I'll break your every bone and skin you alive when I get to you!"
You kept seeing him in your nightmares for months after that, shivering from the thought what would happen if he really caught you. Too bad you weren't just one more member of the gang, some simple criminal Shigaraki would pay no mind - on the contrary, being the only one who could handle his deadly touch thanks to your Quirk, you were given to him by All For One personally. You were supposed to be some kind of confidante for him just like Kurogiri, but with time you realized your master wanted you to be Tomura's personal toy, a girl he would keep for his own comfort. Although neither of you confided in each other, you knew Shigaraki had been slowly developing feelings for you day by day for years as you served him like a companion, following him everywhere, playing in his games, figthing alongside him if you needed to - even if Tomura was twisted and corrupted, he still longed for intimacy despite all his hatred, and you were his only possible option.
It wasn't hard to imagine his reaction when he found out you were leaving the League of Villains, abandoning him.
You wondered how vengeful he was going to get after all these years, having so much time to plan your punishment, imagining how you were going to cry and plead him for forgiveness. Well, it was very likely you would, tortured to death by him, but it didn’t change the fact you did a lot to help the heroes, ruining so many plans of All For One you certainly had been his personal headache for years. Nothing would change it even if Tomura tormented you as much as he wanted.
As you finally saw him coming from behind, his figure blocking the light coming from a lonely bulb hanging from the ceiling, you flinched, grimacing as you saw Shigaraki's red eyes staring at you intently. The son of a bitch was smirking while he looked over you as if you were his trophy.
His light blue hair changed its color and grew longer than you remembered them; the skin around his eyes had twice more wrinkles, making Shigaraki look like a century-old teenager, and his neck was bruised just like when you were still a part of the League. While you thought he didn't look too different, Tomura matured. He was no longer a raw-boned video kid, and the change made you think you had no idea what he had become and how he was going to treat you. You were certain about a single thing - he was surely going to make you suffer.
"Do you like what you see?" You asked, annoyed he was staring at you for so long and saying nothing.
He let out a chuckle, leaning over until he brushed his nose against your cheek, making you shiver, "I do."
As he inhaled deeply, you realized he was sniffing you. What a creep, you thought as you clenched your teeth.
You hated this uncertainty, not knowing what he was planning to do, and soon it was impossible for you to stay silent, "What are you-"
But before you could finish, you felt his warm, slimy tongue licking a long stripe from your chin to your cheek, leaving your skin wet from his saliva. Quickly squeezing your eyes shut, you held your breath, hoping it was all a bad dream. What the fuck was he doing? Sure, he reached puberty a long time ago, but you thought he was going to do something more violent to you - in the end, you hurt his pride more than anyone else did.
"You're awfully quiet now," you could feel his smirk with your skin. "But, I guess, you'll be pleading me to stop a little later. Or rather not to stop?"
Cringing, you opened your eyes only to stare in the face of Shigaraki right above yours as he held your bound wrists, clenching them painfully, "I expected you'd be more creative with my punishment. Last time you promised to skin me alive."
"That would be boring and pretty useless," he rolled his eyes in irritation, his hand touching the fabric of your shirt only to decay it immediately. "Are you so desperate for your punishment? Maybe that's why it was so easy to catch you."
You wanted to tell him he needed years to get close to you, but you kept your mouth shut. Only god knew what this creep had planned for you, and it was stupid to provoke him when Shigaraki was already drooling on your face. You just hoped he did it only to scare the shit out of you.
"I knew you'd get me one day."
"Then why did you run?" His sharp eyes made you froze as he loomed over you, his expression frightening.
You turned your head away, "You know why. You wouldn't follow me anyway, so I did what I had to."
"No, I wouldn't," strangely satisfied with your answer, the Grand Commander finally took a step back, giving you space, and you remembered how to breathe again.
There was this unnerving silence again, and you tried to toss and turn on the bedstead, exhausted from the run earlier and being tied for far too long. What was in his head? Was he really going to rape you as a way of demonstrating his dominance over you? It sounded insane, but you reminded yourself you had no idea how much Tomura had changed. Maybe that was what All For One told him to do to you... although this was rather questionable. It almost looked like Shigaraki was taking something he thought had always belonged to him, a way to make you remember all your efforts had always been futile while he held real power over you.
"So, what's next on my menu?" You asked loudly, unable to hold your tongue. "Breaking my bones, was it?"
You heard him chuckle.
"No, but it'll hurt," he whispered as he left his hooded coat on the floor, standing in front of you so you could see him getting undressed, his deeply bruised skin making you nauseated. "It'll hurt you just right."

You Again (Frank Castle/Reader)
Frank Castle (the Punisher) x Reader
Word count: 1.5k TW: light description of wound and bruises, implied rape attempt, mention of alcohol, canon-typical violence, reader has ✨issues✨
Female pronouns for reader
Note: Some hurt/comfort with Frank Castle. For unknown reasons, reader can’t go see a normal doctor. This story was inspired by an unpublished fanfic written by a dear friend of mine, in which Frank already helps reader.
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
“You. Again.”
You never had been so happy to hear his gruff voice.
“And you’re a fuckin’ mess.” Frank added, tone flat.
“You should see the other guy.” you croaked, trying as best as you could to smile despite the cut on your lower lip.
You were, indeed, a mess.
Battered and bloody, you were sitting - or more accurately slouching - on the dirty floor, in front of one of Castle’s hideouts door, on a random Tuesday night. Your right hand was badly hiding the knife’s wound on your stomach, the gash in your blood-soaked T-shirt obvious behind your feeble fingers. Angry bruises were already blooming around your wrist, adding yet another painful layer to your miserable appearance.
“Fuck.” He let the word slip between gritted teeth while scanning your body. You were not in great shape.
“Fine, come here, don’t bleed out on my front porch.”
There was a moment of awkward silence, while you tried to put yourself on your feet, before admitting you were too weak to accomplish the simple task.
“I-I can’t... stand up.”
Frank closed his eyes for a second, exhaling through his nose, just like he would do to try and calm himself to avoid scolding a child. He eventually crouched beside you, slipping an arm under the crook of your knees, and the other behind your shoulders, gathering you in his arms and lifting you effortlessly like you weighed nothing.
The door closed behind him thanks to a powerful kick of his foot, and you finally allowed yourself to relax a little, feeling safe for the first time in days.
The dingy flat was nowhere near the level of comfort you would wish for yourself, but he was here, in this room, breathing and alive and focusing on you, and that was all that mattered at this moment.
---
“I’m the first choice when it comes to patching you up I guess.”
“Don’t flatter yourself, I wouldn’t have come if I had any other option.”
Frank was trying his best to stitch the wound on your stomach without hurting you too much, but the lack of anesthesia was making it difficult. The witty banter was one way of distracting you, and you were grateful for it.
“Done.”
The needle clattered on the plate he had put on the floor next to the mattress you were lying on. You let out the breath you were holding, pain slowly radiating through your whole body, making his lazy way from the cut on your belly to the rest of your limbs, awakening in its path the dozens of bruises littering your skin. Your vision got blurry for a moment, ears ringing.
“Hey, stay with me.” his hand was on the side of your face, cradling your cheek while avoiding to touch the cuts on your lips. His warm and callused fingertips against your cheek gently brought you back to reality.
You could feel his gaze on your face, cataloguing every cut and scratch, and you did not miss the way his eyes just narrowed for a second when they fell on your neck, his fingers hovering above the bruises there.
“Are you hurt elsewhere?”
“No.” you knew the moment the word escaped your mouth that you had answered way too fast and way too loud for you to be believable.
“You’re so bad at lying it hurts to see you try, you know?”
“I’m f-fine.”
“No you’re not.”
“It’s none of your business.”
“Since you’re the one bleeding on MY mattress, I would argue that it’s also my business now.”
Your defense was pathetic and he was so patient with you, you wondered why you had to be such a defensive jerk sometimes. You slouched a little more, you wanted to disappear into his mattress.
“Truth is… I-I don’t really know.”
“Let me take a look.” It was not a question, but he waited nonetheless for you to nod your approval before helping you shimmy out of your torned jeans. You winced, the movement cruelly reminding you of the freshly stitched wound on your abs.
“Do I need to kill someone?” was his only reaction when the galaxy of black and purple bruises on your thighs appeared from under your pants.
“He’s already dead.”
He knew you were not lying this time, the proudness in your soft voice too earnest to be faked.
“What happened?” he asked, voice so low and caring, like he was talking to a wounded animal.
“You know what happened.” you answered sternly.
Frank wasn’t dumb and it would only take half a brain to do the maths and understand the situation given the bruises on your neck, wrists and thighs, and the broken zipper of your jeans.
“Do you need medication? Something for...” he seemed lost all of a sudden.
“No, Frank, I killed him before anything happened. That was the plan.”
“The plan? You planned on being attacked and… “ he froze, his mind working to make sense of your words. He quickly understood, his expression suddenly changing. If he was looking sorry a few seconds ago, now he was angry.
“Don’t tell me you’ve been up with this vigilante bullshit again?”
“That’s rich coming from you.” you scoffed.
“You’re not a 6-foot-tall trained marine.”
“That’s the point, I can easily lure those guys, unlike you.” You cut him off.
“You should have told me first.”
“What? I don’t need your permission.”
“You need my protection.” he was starting to lose his patience.
“I can take care of myself.”
“Says the girl bleeding on my doorstep.” he snorted.
The bastard got a point.
“At least I’m trying to be useful.” you retorted, in a low blow, a foolish attempt to not lose too quickly.
“You won’t be useful when you’re dead.”
“Right now I wish I was.” you grumbled, running out of replies.
“Don’t you ever say that again.”
“Fuck you Frank. Fuck you.”
He was tiring. You should have known you had zero chance of winning this argument from the get go. You couldn’t even go and dramatically slam the door on your way out. Your shaking legs would barely carry you up. Ok, maybe, just maybe, he was right. Maybe it was a bad idea, and your injured body was just the proof of his implacable logic.
Frank rose on his feet slowly, a hand rubbing on the back on his head - he always did that when he was stressed and thinking too much.
“Stay here until you’re somewhat healed.” his eyes were avoiding yours, his voice too soft whereas you wished he would be mad, because he would be way easier to fight him this way. “Please.”
It’s not like you were physically able to go anywhere else, and truth be told it’s not like you wanted to go anywhere else. The hurt in his voice made your heart clench. You had been unfair, just like usual. A stupid defense mechanism.
You thought about the last time he had to patch you up. A mean fever. Found you unconscious in a dark alley. Frank had taken good care of you, slowly bathed you in cold water to lower the fever, before tucking you against him under a blanket and nursing you back to life the following days. He had even kissed you that first night, and the next morning, when you felt better, he had pressed his body against yours and made you feel even better, this time with different means than some cold water. The memory of his kindness contrasting with your current ungratefulness had you on the verge of tears.
You were mad at yourself.
“I’m-I’m sorry.” you offered after what seemed like an eternity.
”And… thank you.” you added, trying your best to not burst out crying right there.
Castle said nothing, he just left for the kitchen and came back with a glass of water, before squatting next to you and handing you the precious liquid. You gulped the whole shot down, you had not realized before how parched you were.
“You lost some blood, that’s why you’re dehydrated.” he explained matter of factly, voice devoid of hurt or anger, like your little scene had not existed. And that’s why I’m saying nonsense, you thought to yourself.
“I’ll bring you some more.”
Before he could rise up again, you reached out to touch his face. The sudden movement sent sparks of pain through your guts but you did not flinch. His eyes bore into yours and you closed the distance between you. The kiss was soft then fierce, it felt like finally letting go of something that was burning you from the inside, your injury forgotten the second his lips touched yours. The taste of blood in your mouth was soon replaced by the taste of him and the lingering notes of the whiskey he surely drank before you arrived.
Castle fell slowly on his knees, carefully hugging you, breaking the kiss only to bury his face in the crook of your neck and whisper inaudible praises between two “silly girl”.
You closed your eyes. It felt like finally being home. Finally being safe.
