These are all of my current ratty companions! I love them so much it hurts.

Rats are often mistaken for dirty yucky creatures but in reality they are scientifically proven to have the ability to feel real empathy and regret just like most of us humans. If you treat them with love and respect you will find a better companion in a rat then most people are!

The only complaint I have is that they grow old so quickly and only have a life span of about 2- 3 years

Rats are very social creatures and are happy to see you come home from work each day for snuggles, snack sharing and tickles!

Rats are curious, smart, soft and squishy lovey babies that need love just like any one else!

I’m a day late with my national rat day post but here you go!

LETS SHOW THEM THE LOVE EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.

Snake on a swing?

Boo won 4th place in a local Valentine’s Day photo contest and part of her prize was a gift card to a pet store. My toddler insisted that Boo needed a swing. I was skeptical, but went for it. Boo uses this swing almost every day.

This is Song. She is not all too cuddly, but definitely not shy either. She is just a sweet girl of just a bit more than a year old. you wouldn't say so anymore, but she is a black and white husky xD

This is River, Song's sister. She has a little grey stripe on her back. She isn't a cuddler at all. She rather licks me than me picking her up or petting her, which is okay. She is a grey and white husky, not that much of that remains.

This is Leona, my momma. She takes care of four babies of her own and four babies of her sister Lotus who died after c section. She is a supermom and quite cuddly.

This is Robin, Lotus' siamese baby boy

Cinder(ella), Lotus's siamese baby girl and the only girl of all eight.

So, keeping track of all the lookalike babies is hard, so I made snips in the fur. This is Leona's boy Lancelot, with a snip at his Left leg

This is (prince) Charming, a grey boy of Lotus. It's not clear if he'll turn bluepoint siamese or stay this colour

Hamlett, Lotus' agouti boy. He is the smallest of the bunch
