My MHA DR

I made a blog that is essentially mainly about shifting and didn't even write anything about the dr I'm trying to shift to... Here's me fixing that.

My name: Cr name

Family: Same as my cr family except I have a stepdad.

I'm in class 1-a and my quirk is Bio-Control. I thought out a lot of mechanics for it, like what my parents quirks would be and drawbacks. It's more like Todoroki's where I have both my mom and my dads' quirks but with a twist.

I'm able to understand what any creature says to me, as long as I understand how it's brain works. I can then give them commands, but I can also see what they see if they're scouting out an area for me. I'll get a headache the longer I do it though. I can grow and control plants without limitations, but I have to know about the species. The bigger the plant is the more sugar it takes to grow. I have a tolerance so that I can eat a larger amount of sweets but too many will still make me sick. I'm also able to slightly camouflage in natural areas.

I wanted a quirk that was more support based if I wanted it to be, but also wouldn't cripple me in a more physical fight. and I obviously love nature

My hero name: Aconite (It's a very deadly flower, I liked the analogy.)

My hero costume: (Be nice ok I'm not an artist-)

When I eventually do the work studies I'll be working with Fatgum both times. It'd be cool to work at his agency as well.

My safeword is more of a safephrase, but I think it's funny somewhere in my horrible sense of humor so here it is.

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? Now that the quality of Duolingo has fallen (even more) due to AI and people are more willing to make the jump here are just some alternative apps and what languages they have:

Language Transfer (Languages: French, Swahili, Italian, Greek, German, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, English for Spanish Speakers)

Pimsleur (Literally so many languages)

Glossika (Also a lot of languages, but minority languages are free)

*anecdote: I borrowed my brother's Japanese Pimsleur CD as a kid and I still remember how to say the weather is nice over a decade later. You can find the CDs at libraries and "other" places I'm sure.
