Almost done with this one, just waiting on the LED to get here so I can start cycling it with plants and inverts. I also need to finish up the hide lids but I don’t need to have that 100% done before planting and getting the custom glass ordered.

Biscoff got an enclosure upgrade today! He is not impressed yet.
[id: 3 pictures of a newly set up bioactive crested gecko enclosure with lots of green plants and sticks, two blue pods and a hanging cork bark, and the last picture is Biscoff curled up in his sleeping pod]

In the process of building a new enclosure for Reese :) it’s a 2x4x4 with an area on top for all her lights and misting systems and stuff :) I can’t wait to decorate it I honestly haven’t been so excited about a project for a really long time

Last Saturday was the day for upgrades! Mantises got a big upgrade and I redid Ramen & Luna's tank. I'll show the mantis upgrades soon but for now here's the tank!
Please ignore my messy desk, it's nothing too fancy but it's pretty for a quarantine enclosure and they really love the new hidey spaces and vine to climb on!

Update i think she is enriched
Rosy boa hanging out on her sticks
Literally my favorite thing about having a snake is watching her exhibit natural behaviors in her nice safe enclosure.
I think I’ll move her to the 4x2x1 (60 ish gallon) that i impulse bought two years ago sooner rather than later. We have a GREAT deadfall branch outside. (She’s currently in a 20 gallon long.)

Crested gecko enclosure so far! Exoterra 12x12x24, bioactive but waiting on isopods and the plants in there are on an “if they make it they make it” basis since they’re just the ones that were in my bathroom that I didn’t like. I’m planning to use that cork curl as the feeding shelf and a cave since it’s quite large and a good size for them to grow into. I’m hoping to get a young baby so that they can stay in here for some time.
I’m hoping to get a large plant to fill in the left side and some small ground cover to grow over the whole floor, then some small-ish epiphytes to tie onto the central branch.

Finally got the last layer of grout done, gonna paint today and install the glass tracks and lights once it dries. Tomorrow I’ll do at least one layer of sealant, unsure how long it’s gonna take to cure between layers, it’s my first time using polycrylic! If all goes according to plan I can get the lids to the hides done this week and get the glass ordered too! Finally making some quick progress.
These are my main inspo pics for the paint job, I’ll take pics and maybe video as I go?
Really mostly excited to get plants ordered if I’m being honest haha- im doing a biotope and everything. Elaborate and extra but idc

Everard and Alessandra have been seeming a bit restless lately, so I made some new perches and rearranged the foliage.
