Happy 5th birthday to the album that represents a time in my life where I quite literally, “came into my own, & as a result... came alive.”

Fall of 2014 was a time where I was struggling with my anxiety A TON. Like daily panic attacks. I met my now husband at this time as well.

He and 1989 were both the distraction I needed from my ever flowing panicked thoughts. This album will forever be the album that represents a time in my life where I fought through something terrible and became clean. 1989 represents trust and falling into something I was very unsure of... but ended up being everything. Hey Taylor, It’s me David! Just a little update on my life. I just graduated High School in May and I’m honestly doing better than I ever was. Those 4 years were so rough for me, I went through so much between getting diagnosed with my diabetes, to dealing with growing up. I’m starting college this fall and can’t wait for what is to come in my life. One thing that has consistently remained the same is my dedication to you.
