Fooduary Day 26: Rolled Ice Cream

So today was supposed to be milkshake.... but unsurprisingly those were invented around the same time as ice cream sundaes and we have already been there. So I started looking for other ice cream treats I could design for. Rolled Ice Cream, or Stir Fried Ice Cream is a very recent invention from Thailand that puts a fun twist to serving ice cream. And I’m pretty sure everyone on the internet on the last 10 years have seen at least one viral video of it because it is mesmerizing.

Hey everyone, if anyone is ever in the bay/waveland area in South Mississippi on the gulf coast and you want some rolled ice cream, Rollie Pollie has just reopened last month. They closed at the beginning of Covid and now they have new owners.

The new owners were very friendly and the ice cream was amazing.

Would have gone in cosplay for the picture if I would have known they were open again. Will be going back in cosplay the next time I think about it.
