rewatching World Trigger. I forgot how gay it was. Osamu straight up says "hey Yuma. I know that we've only known you for like five days, but I can't help but notice that you aren't doing anything with your life right now. Mind if I borrow it for a bit?"

And then Yuma responds with "while its true that we've only know each other for like five days, your kind yet stubborn nature has compelled me. Sure. Why not? From this moment on my life is yours to do whatever you want with. One condition, though. You have to be my boss" and then throughout the story he occasionally makes these little remarks like "I'd do anything my captain (osamu) asked me to."

Like bro what? I really don't think that Osamu fully realizes the weight of the loyalty he somehow managed to earn from Yuma. I don't think he could realize it. From his perspective he cringefailed his way into b rank while Yuma did all the work. "And now Yuma would kill or die for me" is just not a conclusion that would ever occur to Osamu based on the avaliable evidence.

And like, what's going on here from Yuma's perspective? I get that he was a man on the brink when the story started, pursuing a sincerely suicidal plan, and then said plan failed and he was left with absolutely nothing, but I still feel like there has to be more going on here. He decided that he would follow Osamu through hell and back the very same minute that Osamu asked anything of him at all.

It's like, combat is all Yuma has ever known. He doesn't see any future for himself at all, but he especially can't imagine a peaceful one. But he's not a bad kid. He doesn't go out of his way to hurt people. Osamu has proven to be a pretty decent person, willing to sacrifice himself to save the lives of relative strangers. Maybe, the way Yuma sees it, yeah he's a weapon, but if he follows Osamu at least he'll be a weapon pointed in the right direction. He'll fight because it's all he knows how to do, but osamu would only ever ask him to fight for worthy causes. Y'know?

Anyway. The point is that Yuma accepted helping Osamu as his new purpose in life after knowing him for less than a week, and that's A Lot, no matter how you look at it.

Okay, but what would make me happy is one of the end scenes of the series is just Ahsoka stopping by to visit Rex in his very relaxing and much-deserved retirement. Like, he’s not involved in whatever schemes are going on. Rex is just chilling on a boat or on a beach, sipping colorful beverages and being wholly unbothered by the universe.

And maaaaaybe that boat/beach happens to be on Pabu. And there just so happen to be a whole gaggle of people of all ages (and who, perhaps, resemble Rex in varying degrees) around who call him “Uncle Rex.” And, oh my, is that a blonde woman who calls him her brother?

Ahsoka gets to see Rex happy in his retirement and old age being the uncle/honorary grandfather to the children of the clones he managed to save over the years. She gets to see the genetic sister he didn’t expect to find, but still accepted and loved.

And she is happy to see that!

Imagine how close Helaena and Daeron could’ve been if they were raised together! I’m just imagining this moment after the eye incident, they’re spending time together and Helaena says something about how Alicent’s worried that no one can protect them. Then Daeron, in all of his childhood sense of optimism, says that he’ll become a member of the Kingsguard to protect them all. He eventually does and becomes Helaena’s sworn shield after being Criston’s squire.

I’m honestly thinking of that being a part of my next Daeron focused fanfic that’s in the preplanning stages (because I started thinking about it thirty minutes ago).

Pardon me but you clam that alicent tried her best yo protect the kingdom her children and rhaenyra by starting a war is ridiculous. You point her being a childbride to excuse every behavior of her, even the most stupid

she didn't want a war. she didn't want to be married off to a king, she didn't want to be queen, she didn't ask for any of it. when that life was forced upon her as a childbride, she tried her best, but it wasn't a life she was prepared for. over the years she tried so hard to balance being queen, being a mother, pleasing her husband, her father, her children, rhaenyra, her house, the court, the kingdom. she was doing it all the very best she could have.

if you believe she started the war, I'm not gonna sway you, but I think that that take is absolutely wild. Alicent was thrown into a family that was already on a collision course, and then was horribly mistreated, which only set the family further on said collision course.

Viserys caused the war when he had more children after Rhaenyra and did nothing to strengthen her claim or support any sort of unity between her and her siblings. he just neglected his kids, ignored them, and let Rhaenyra do whatever she wanted, ruining her image, which encouraged people to not want her to rule (mainly by looking like a threat to Alicent, who strived to protect her children).

Rhaenyra caused a war when she could not look past her own self interest and put everyone around her, even her own children, in danger (having bastards put innocent kids in a life that would be nothing but danger, judgment, whispers, and speculation. having both legitimate and illegitimate children put both in danger whether they fought among themselves or the masses preferred legitimate sons over bastards. she stole her stepdaughters claims to Driftmark then betrothed them to bastards which put them in danger). she destroyed her image and would do anything to keep up her house of lies.

Alicent didn't cause the war, she was just a player thrown in to it, and screw her for trying to keep her kids alive. the people around her created the war, it had been nipping at their heals, they made Alicent into a catalyst when Viserys forced her hand and forced kids upon her.

Stop. Blaming. The. Victim.

I've seen "Time Travel to the Prequels" Luke, Leia, R2 and even Han but I've never seen it with Chewbacca.

Chewie wakes up in the past at the beginning of the Clone Wars. He warns Tarfull of what he knows is coming. He then tells Malla, his wife, that he's going to rescue some cubs. Then he goes to Corellia and kidnaps Han and Qi'ra.

He eventually gets to the Jedi Temple where he talks to/berates Yoda. When he meets Anakin he makes it his mission to befriend him as this young man needs more hugs in his life. This leads to him adopting their entire Jedi Line into his family. He makes Obi Wan, Anakin and Ashoka spend time as a family, relaxing, talking and grooming each other. He and Han join them on occasion.

(Not sure if Qi'ra joins him, if he left her on Kashyyyk with his wife, sent her with Shaak Ti to Kamino or convinced Padme to bring her to Naboo.)

He's not worried about Lando at this time. He'll find him when Han is older and the twins are safely born.

He knows he can't just rip off the Supreme Chancellor's arms but he does makes various contingency plans with R2. He does what he can while he makes sure his family and future family's parents are safe.

Better ending for Naruto

Naruto realizes that while Hokage was a good dream to reach for when he was struggling, he has come to a point where he is the hero of the world and becoming Hokage just isn't what he wants to do anymore. He sees the broken system and decides that after working his butt off to gain the recognition of the village, he deserves to focus on himself for a bit and goes with Sasuke to explore and figure himself out in ways he can't in the village

Orochimaru is held accountable for all of their horrible actions and not released into the world, so Yamato isn't set on babysitting duty and is allowed to retire and live that life surrounded by people who care about him that he so badly wanted

Kakashi still becomes Hokage but has every intention of being the final hokage and starts working on organizing a better system that can help the village grow. He still grows the village economically during his reign and makes Konoha a successful village in a new, none war focused way with trade agreements with all of the other lands.

Kakashi, Gai and Yamato all move in together and live out their lives improving the village, and then going on vacation and finally enjoying their lives when they're all retired. On Mondays, they watch movies, on tuesdays they try making a new meal, Wednesdays are dedicated to giving the hounds baths, thursdays are for hanging out with Iruka and Kurenai throughout the day, Fridays are relaxing in the garden day and Saturday and Sunday are for whatever else they want to do.
