Glimmadora Week Day 3: Coffee Shop AU

I'm such a sucker for Coffee Shop AUs, so here's my take on one:

Glimmer and Adora are both students but are from different schools

Glimmer spends most of her evenings studying in a coffee shop, sometimes she’s joined by Bow or other friends, but mostly she’s by herself

Adora drops by for coffee on the go every now and then but she begins to take notice of Glimmer

 Adora wants to strike up a conversation, but ultimately doesn’t have the courage to do so

She starts spending more time in the coffee shop though, like Glimmer, she finds it a great place to study

One day, she overhears a conversation between Bow and Glimmer, they’re struggling with some homework in Adora’s best subject

Adora decides that it’s her time to shine and impress the cute girl, so she helps them out

Both Glimmer and Bow are very thankful for her help, they fall in conversation and really hit it off together

Glimmer, of course, has been noticing Adora as well and like Adora, she just never had the courage to go talk to her

Glimmer suggests that they can help each other out with studying since they both spend their evenings in the coffee shop anyways, Adora agrees

 They meet up every day after school in the shop, not much studying is done, but they have a lot of fun together

After talking for a few weeks, Adora asks Glimmer out on a date

To be exact, Adora asks if she wants to “Grab a cup of coffee together one day” 

Glimmer laughs at this since it’s what they’ve been doing every day, Adora laughs as well and clarifies that she meant as a date

Glimmer says she’d love to

They go on a date, a coffee date, and then another one, and another one

Whether or not they’re on a date or studying together, or both, they also go to the coffee shop where they first met

The coffee shop ends up having a very special place in their heart for them
