I've never made a post before but I felt that I had to speak about this. I had to know if other people experienced what I experienced and felt what I felt when watching the episode.

I'm not even going to get into the first scene cuz it caused me so much pain yet happiness at Bucky's recovery, maybe I'll write about it another time because right now my focus is on someone else. (Bucky has been my favorite MCU character since I first got into marvel and I care about him deeply)

What I'd like to talk about is how John Walker ruined the Captain America legacy. I cried, I balled my eyes out, I breathed hard and gasped and held back a scream at what he did in the last scene.

Seeing him smash the shield into that guy's chest was painful. Captain America doesn't murder people in cold blood. Idc if he's a flag smasher he didn't deserve to die. Seeing that blood on the shield just broke me completely.

Seeing the symbol that I've been wearing with pride for years tainted with blood because the supposed 'captain america' murdered someone with it made me feel so appalled and and I'm just at a loss for words. Betrayed? Disappointed? Definitely angry.

Steve Rogers watched Zemo ruin the avengers, make a victim of Bucky, his everything, yet again. He watched him kill innocent people including the King of Wakanda. Yet, he imprisoned him. Captain America does not kill. Think about it. He's killed during WW2 because he had to, he had to fight hydra, and Bucky's death was so much of a motivation. But it was a war, that's how you fight a war. He's killed aliens and robots and all kinds of stuff. But never another human if he could avoid it.

Remember when the police were chasing Bucky in Civil War and Steve kept making sure that they weren't being injured to death? Yet what did John Walker do so readily? Chased down a person who said he wasn't the one to kill his friend. And how did he kill him? It was such a brutal death.

I didn't think the symbol meant so much to me until that moment. I can't wait till somebody gets John Walker behind bars.

yes, exactly! that's how i feel, too! it's like when it's march 19th, someone is gonna show up and say that there is no tfatws show are we high. it is a bit surreal that we're gonna see sam and bucky exploring their relationship as co-workers and actually seeing them getting some therapy after all the things they have been through...

i am not ready for bucky to have full blown conversations with people either lmfao

but i can't wait! bevaus i know it's gonna be a chaotic show and i'm all here for it!
