I'm a Samguy and I'm bestfriends with a Deanguy, we can't watch supernatural together because I have to pause the episode and ramble about how much I hate Dean every four seconds

From the I Am-Am I's.........
...........to the I-Am's AND Am-I's.
Two separate families..
They used to be a family once, but it seems like Guy has chosen to create his own now.
With Guy acting like he's still annoyed by anything related to Sam, and cuts him out of his life in many ways........
So that kind of hurts the little boy, and makes him want to find himself a family more than ever before.
(Just look at how tightly he shut his eyes in pain, even though he's glad to see his friend -ahem- man... happy 😢😭)
...But even when Sam decides to go find his mom, he never forgets the family he already has in his heart....
(The picture is the first thing he thinks to take with him for his long journey ifshukfhs)

Green Eggs and Ham: The Second Serving - My take on this.
Hi, all.
I'm writing this not only to rant a little bit (respectfully) but to also get out what has been on my mind. I may or may not get some crap for this, but I don't mind.
I'll be clear, I have NOT watched the trailer for Season 2. The reason being is that Netflix trailers have a reputation for spoiling everything. Hell, I didn't even watch the trailer for Season 1. I avoid Netflix trailers for the most part.
Ever since the Season 2 announcement came out, I've seen a lot of fans of the show express their disappointment, mainly the ones who had seen the trailer. The thing they seem to be mostly disappointed about is how Guy and Sam aren't going to be a couple.
Anyone who follows me would know how much I love shipping Guy and Sam together. Still do. I was also hoping they would end up together, but I knew that was more of a "maybe it will, but it probably won't happen" kind of situation for me. I was ready to accept it if they didn't become a couple, in fact, I'm not even that surprised.
However, the fact that they don't end up together doesn't waver my love for the show. I can't help but get the impression that a lot of fans of the show were fans ONLY for the shipping of those two. I personally think that's foolish to base your love on a show/game/movie/anything based on a ship you like (unless that series is solely a romance, to which GEAH is not). I think GEAH has so much more to love about it rather than shipping Guy and Sam. I see the show being a lot about finding your confidence, finding love, and finding a friend in someone. Yeah, sure they have what appears to be some gay undertones, but if anything, they seem to have a heavy bromance going for them.
If you want to ship Guy and Sam, cannon or not, THAT IS WHAT FANDOMS ARE FOR. I seriously don't think a franchise or series should base their stories on what their fandoms want, because if they did, they would likely turn into a huge mess.
From what little details I have seen from Season 2, other than Michellee is pregnant, Guy is getting married to her, Sam finds his mom (possibly without Guy), I've noticed that Sam's mom seems a bit... antsy? Which would be sad, yes. But, if anything, I think that would be interesting!
Can you imagine, little smiley, super positive Sam-I-Am gets his world shattered because his mom turned out to be an asshole? If that is the case, then I have no doubt that his friend Guy will be there to comfort him.
And I will still ship them, no matter what. Because, again, that is what fandoms are for. That's what I love about fandoms. Taking something from a series you love and using your imagination.
All I ask of this fandom is to look past what the fandom itself wants and give Season 2 a chance. It hasn't even come out yet and most folks are already expressing disappointment. I mean, really... Didn't Sam-I-Am teach you anything? To try something before you decide whether you like it or not?? I think the very WORST thing that could happen is if this show turns out boring. Wouldn't that be some shit?
If you read this far, I thank you for hearing me out. I just needed to get this out of my system.
