Pairing: Jason Todd x Fem!Reader
in which you and your partner love each other on a cliff in the rain
a/n: pls send prompts I'm struggling with writers block 🙏 as always, if you enjoyed leave a like or comment!
Tumblr media
The scenery was beautiful. You were standing on the edge of a rugged cliff, the cool breeze gently weaving through your hair as you gaze out at the breathtaking scene before you. Below, the vast expanse of the ocean stretches out endlessly, its surface shimmering like liquid glass in the soft, golden light of the early evening. The sky above is painted with hues of orange, pink, and purple, as the sun begins its slow descent towards the horizon.
Wispy clouds catch the warm, fading sunlight, creating a stunning tapestry of colors that blend seamlessly with the tranquil waters below. As you stand there, the soothing sound of waves crashing against the rocks far below reaches your ears, creating a symphony of nature's melodies. Seagulls glide gracefully through the air, their silhouettes adding to the ethereal beauty of the moment. The air was chilly, the autumn days slowing creeping to winter.
The view from the cliff at early evening is a serene and awe-inspiring sight, a perfect harmony of nature's elements coming together. You turned to face Jason and went to sit down in the soft grass.
"Wait, hold on." Jason stopped you from sitting down. He whipped out a picnic blanket and set it on the floor, making sure that it was perfectly straight. "There, go ahead," he gestured for you to sit down. Your heart absolutely melted.
"Aww, thanks baby." You have him a smooch on his cheek and plopped down on the blanket. You carefully set the picnic basket on the blanket before patting the spot beside you. "Come on, sit down." Jason moved beside you and sat on the blanket, hooking an arm around your waist and tugging you closer to him. The warmth radiating from him keeps you warm in the cool breeze. You press your face into the collar of his hoodie, inhaling his familiar scent of gunpowder and leather. Jason's hand curls tighter around your waist, pressing you into him so he could press a kiss on your jaw.
"You hungry?" He asks. You nod and pull the basket closer to the both of you by the handle, opening it and taking out two lunchboxes Alfred had so kindly prepared for you and Jason. Thankfully, they were still warm from the food, the fuzzy warmth of it sending prickles down your arm. You hand the red and black one to Jason, passing him a fork and spoon at the same time. You took the other lunchbox, getting a set of cultery for yourself.
"Thanks," Jason mumbles. You smile and him and you both open your lunchbox at the same time. In the lunchbox, a generous portion of steaming white rice formed the base of the dish. Atop the rice sits the star of the show: a golden-brown, perfectly fried pork cutlet. The tonkatsu looked crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a mouthwatering golden hue. Alfred's glossy, savory curry is generously ladled over the tonkatsu, and it cascades down the sides, pooling around the rice.
You bring the Katsudon closer to your nose, the enticing aroma of the dish envelops your senses. The curry sauce emits a fragrant blend of spices, including notes of cumin, coriander, and turmeric, which fill the air with warmth and depth. The fried pork cutlet adds its own inviting scent of savory goodness, with hints of toasted breadcrumbs and the rich aroma of well-cooked meat.
"It smells good," Jason says, nodding his head in approval. You stab your fork on a piece of katsu, and stuffed it into your mouth. "It tastes good." You say with your mouth full. Jason chuckles and lifts a finger to brush against the corner of your mouth, swiping away a smidge of curry. He then sticks that finger into his mouth, sucking on it. "It is delicious." He smirks. Your face was flushed, cheeks reddening at Jason's action.
"E-eat your food, you doofus!" You yell, smacking his arm. Jason chuckles and begins eating his food. With flushed cheeks, you return to your food, comfortable silence settling down between you and him, only broken by the sounds of chewing and the cultery clacking against each other.
After finishing the meal, you and Jason set the empty lunchboxes aside. You leaned against Jason, savoring the afterglow of your delicious dinner. The sound of the rain falling gently on the picnic blanket provides a soothing backdrop, complementing the beautiful view of the ocean beneath, which seems even more magical in the moonlight. Jason, with a contented smile, turns to you, his blue eyes sparkling with warmth and affection. "You know," he begins, his voice soft as a whisper, "this view is stunning, but it pales in comparison to the beauty of you." Your heart flutters at his cheesy words, and you can't help but return his smile. "You're always so cheesy," you reply, your voice filled with the same tenderness.
He chuckles softly. "Only because it's so much fun to see you like this." He leans in closer, his nose gently nuzzling against yours, and his lips meet yours in a gentle, lingering kiss.
The sky above you, a canvas of muted pastels, transitioned from shades of soft blue to dusky lavender as the sun dipped below the horizon. The air carried a subtle chill, a gentle reminder that night was approaching. The world seemed to hold its breath in anticipation of what was to come. As Jason kissed you, you could sense a change in the atmosphere. The usual hustle and bustle of the day had quieted, replaced by a serene stillness. Trees, their leaves rustling softly, seemed to whisper secrets to one another, as if sharing the news of the impending rain. The first sign of the approaching drizzle was the faint scent of petrichor, that earthy aroma that arises when rain is on the way. It teased your senses, evoking memories of rainy days and childhood adventures.
The sky, once serene, now displayed subtle hints of transformation. Wispy clouds gathered overhead, their edges tinged with a delicate shade of gray. The colors of the world became more vivid as if nature itself was intensifying its beauty before the rain arrived. In the distance, you could hear the distant rumble of thunder.
The soft pitter patter of rain filled your ears as the raindrops hit the ground. Rain slips between you and Jason's face, sliding into where your lips met, creating a salty taste that lingered in your mouth. Jason pulled away, looking up towards the sky as a soft drizzle fell onto the both of you. Jason closed his eyes, his head tilted upwards as the rain slid down his face.
He opened his eyes and he looked towards you and grinned. Your heart can't help but flutter at the sight of him, his black hair with that streak of white sticking to his forehead, slick with rain. You can feel your own hair getting wet in the soft drizzle, your clothes sticking to your back. How can Jason look so effortlessly stunning? Jason gave you a look and pulled you towards him, giving you another deep kiss. Your hand reached up to grasp at his wet hoodie for support, the other hand on his thighs as he kissed you deeply, his hand supporting the back of your head, pulling you closer to him.
The kiss tasted of the earlier katsudon and the salty tang of rain. It was...wonderful. Jason slowly pushed you down until your back hit the wet picnic blanket. He straddled your hips, his knees on either side of your waist, his hands planted firmly on the space beside each side of your head as he hovered over you, smirking slightly. You tug his hoodie down to kiss him, not caring that the rain was getting heavier by the second.
"Ow!" You yelped as a raindrop hit your eye. Jason chuckles and kissed the corner of your eye. "We should get home," he says as he got off you. "Don't want you to be sick." He extended a hand and lifted you off the ground. You and Jason quickly packed up everything and ran to the car, slamming the door shut when both of you got in and laughed.
Let's just say that the both of you caught a cold and were cuddled up in bed the next day. Not that you mind it though.

Here we go!
Note: As I mentioned, the illustrations are available on the official site, but they are all rather small, which makes them hard to read, so in this post I have included photographs from fans which I used for my translations. Every photo was available publicly on twitter and I have credited the posters, but please be respectful and don’t draw undue attention to these fans. If anyone contacts me wishing for their photo to be removed, I will do so.

Ashido: "Cuteness is justice!" Todoroki: "Cuteness is justice? Then this Kannon is a good omen for heroes." Asui: "'Cuteness' is profound, too."
Class 1-A is visiting Sado Island's Chokokuji Temple, where a 20-foot tall rabbit statue has been erected to show appreciation for the temple's domestic rabbits tended by the priests, who roam the grounds freely. Just behind Todoroki actually stands a second, much smaller rabbit statue. The goddess of mercy, Kannon, is carved into the rabbits' chests.
Toyama

Tokoyami: "The torrential flow of power liberated from prohibition... Those of us who have freed a once-sealed power feel the same, don't we, Todoroki?" Todoroki: "No, not particularly."
They are visiting Kurobe Dam, the tallest dam in Japan at 186 meters (610 feet).
Ishikawa

Iida: "There are approximately 180 shops in here!!" Kacchan: "Tell me which one's got the tastiest stuff." Izuku: "That's gotta be all of them!" Kirishima: "Daaamn, there's no way you can go to all of them in one day." All Might: "Looks like those boys are having fun, doesn't it?"
This is Omicho Market in Kanazawa, the capital of Ishikawa, a very busy market with fresh seafood, vegetables, fruit, and local specialties!
Fukui
Tumblr media
Izuku: "Sauce katsudon originates in Fukui prefecture! ︎ The deep flavor comes from the sour sauce seeping into the cutlet! You could say the sauce is saving the cutlet, and the cutlet is saving the sauce. It's a food that embodies the concept of being able to save to win and win to save. I don't think it's an exaggeration to call it the soul food of heroes. Ahhh! I can't stop thinking that I want everyone in Japan to know more about this..." Uraraka: "He's saying it's tasty."
One of Fukui's specialties is "sauce katsudon" wherein the pork cutlet is battered, coated in crumbs, deep fried, and then coated in a thick, sweet, tangy, savory sauce. "Katsu" means cutlet but it is phonetically identical to the word for win--the same one that's in Katsuki's name. Izuku is such a nerd, dear god. Special thanks to @pikahlua for saving my skin with Izuku's dreaded mumble-speech!
Yamanashi
Tumblr media
Mirio: "There's... A RIPE PEACH! There's... RIPE GRAPES!" Kaminari: "The Yamanashi Prefecture Tourism Ambassador Hero...!" Sero: "Have we got a chance!?" Kirishima: "Sempai, you went out of your way just for this!?"
Yamanashi is one of Japan's big fruit providers with many orchards and vineyards, specializing in grapes, plums, and peaches. Mount Fuji is visible in the background! But Mirio... what were the ripe grapes!?
Nagano
Tumblr media
Hagakure: "Ojiro-kun! You really can't see it!?" Jirou: "I can see it!" Ojiro: "It's 'cause I've got a tail, isn't it. I wonder if they're feeling territorial..."
They are at Jigokudani Monkey Park with Japanese macaque (snow monkeys), who love to hang out in hot springs in the winter.
Gifu
Tumblr media

Iida: "Everyone!! Assemble here for a group photo!!" Uraraka: "Let's all do the gasshō pose, okay!!" Sero: "That's great!!"
The Historic Villages of Shirakawa-gō and Gokayama are part of a World Heritage Site protecting the traditional gasshō-zukuri houses unique to the area. The style is named for the arch of the roof looking like hands in prayer; the area gets substantial snowfall every year, and the shape of the roof and structure of the walls are optimal for protecting the integrity of the house. I got to see and step inside this style of home at the Japan Open-Air Folk Museum, and they are absolutely incredible. The informational placards said that in years when the snow piles high enough, the second story windows are used as entrances!
Shizuoka
Tumblr media
Yaoyorozu: "The reason Mount Fuji looks blue is because its size is so great that one must view it at a distance. This distance puts a thick layer of air in-between, scattering the light and causing the mountain's surface to appear blue. The sky is blue for the same reason." Ashido: "Yaomomo's like a walking encyclopedia!" Aoyama: "A beautiful blue mountain, you say? Why, there's one right here~!"
Viewing Mount Fuji from Shizuoka's famous tea fields. Shizuoka provides 40% of Japan's green tea! I've had a few varieties unique to their area, they were very flavorful and soothing. Aoyama is bein' vain because his surname means "blue mountain."
Aichi
Tumblr media
Satou: "All right, all right, now this is what I've been waiting for!" Yaoyorozu: "It's delicious!" Todoroki (thinking): "Half-Sweet Half-Salt..."
They are eating Ogura toast, a dish originating in a Nagoya cafe in 1921. Ogura jam is a sweet spread made out of adzuki beans, and it is often served with butter -- the butter being salted is the source of Todoroki's stroke of genius. I've had it several times, it's tasty!!
That's all for Day 3! See you soon for Day 4.

pairing. izuku midoriya x gn!reader
synopsis. you drew a picture of the perfect guy for you. little did you know that drawing came to life.
word count. 1.9k!
cw. just some fluff and wholesomeness! :3
Tumblr media
It was dark out in the city of Japan. Almost everybody is asleep. Conversely, you are just sitting in bed reading a book about a beautiful couple.
You closed the book as you were done reading it. You held the book close to your chest and sighed dream-ishly.
"Deep voice, cute smile, enchanting eyes, pure heart...why are people like that so hard to find?"
Just then, an idea struck you like a lightning bolt. So you got up, grabbed your pencils, pens, and colors, and decided to draw the man of your dreams.
"Let's see what I can do."
A few hours later, you came up with a beautiful portrait of a man with fluffy green hair, wide doe eyes that matches his hair, four symmetrical freckles on each side of his cheeks, and of course, his pure smile.
"Phew, finally done." So you said as you began to stretch. You look at it with admiring eyes and begin to grow tired after a while. You rubbed your eyes and gently set your drawing on your nightstand. You turn off your lamp and cover yourself in warm, soft blankets as you drift off to sleep.
A mysterious light shone in your bedroom as you had your sweet dreams. The light shone from the portrait, and the man from your drawing appeared.
The man looked around the room as if everything was new to him. He spots a mirror behind him and sees himself there. He took a moment to admire his appearance; he was astonished.
"Wow, they drew me really well." He looked at you as you were sleeping peacefully. Then, he sat in front of you and admired your angelic face.

It was now morning, and you were interrupted by the sun shining in your eyes. You woke up to see a strange man right in front of you.
"Oh, wow. What a beautiful dream I'm having. It looks so real, though," You said sheepishly.
"I know I'm too handsome to be real, but I can confirm you're not dreaming."
"Oh my god, I could listen to his voice my whole life."
'Okay, I guess I have to do this" He reaches his hand to you and pinches you in the arm.
"Oww! Wait! I'm not dreaming!" You looked at him in shock. You got off the bed and ran towards the corner of your room.
"Who are you?! How did you get into my apartment?!"
"Hey! Calm down!"
"Calm down?! How am I going to calm down when there is a literal stranger in my house!!"
"Well- That's a good point, but-"
"I'm going to ask again! Who are you and how did you get into my apartment?"
"Don't you recognize me?"
"What do you mean do I-" You took a closer look at the guy and realized that he did look familiar, almost straight out of a picture.
"Wait... you're-you're that man I drew last night!"
"Yeah! That's what I've been trying to tell you! Kinda weird that I'm alive, don't cha think?"
You were at a loss for words. How in the universe that the man you so beautifully drew come to life? What kind of hocus pocus is this?
"I'm kind of hungry, do you have any food I can eat?"
Still a little bit freaked out by your come-to-life drawing. You scooted your way out the bedroom door and headed towards the kitchen with Izuku following behind.
"What would you like to eat?"
"Hmm, perhaps Katsudon!"
After about 30 minutes, Izuku is sitting on your kitchen table, stuffing his face in that sweet and savory sauce.
"Wow, this is really good! I could eat this every day!" You chuckled at his compliment. He was really cute, guess you really are a good artist.

"So you don't remember anything about your life in the book?"
"I came from a drawing, not a book"
"Wow, you forgot the love of your life" You teased.
"I-I don't love a-anyone!" He stammered. His face was as red as a strawberry.
"I'm Y/N, by the way," You introduced. "What's your name?"
"I don't have one" He replied. Right, he came from a drawing, of course, he doesn't have a name. "Oh, well then. Your name shall be...Izuku!"
"Izuku...I think that's a fitting name" He smiled.
"So, Izuku, do you want to explore my world?"
"Maybe later, I want to watch a movie"
"Okay, let's see what we got" You grabbed the remote to turn on the TV and put it on Netflix.
"Let's see...we got Red Notice, Level 16, Ava..."
"How about The School for Good and Evil? That seems like an interesting movie?"
"Sure is, considering that this movie is based on an actual book series. I've never read it but I'm sure it's a good book. Let's watch!"
You hit the play button and the remote and watched the movie. After some time, you turned to look at Izuku, who was watching the movie with adorable exciting puppy eyes. You smiled at him, admiring his attractiveness.
"I kinda feel bad for Sophie. All she ever wanted was to escape the horrible mistreatment of her townspeople and be who she wants to be" Izuku explains. You felt warm and happy hearing him say that.
"Yeah, Sophie just wanted Tedros to be her true love, and when he broke it off, that made my heart ache"
You both kept watching until you both fell asleep.

You wake up to the sound of Izuku's happy-go-lucky voice.
"Wakey wakey! Time for brekky!" Izuku was standing beside your bed, holding a tray with pancakes and a glass of milk.
"Wow! You made me breakfast?"
"Yes! Now eat! You must be starving"
"Smells amazing! I didn't know you could cook considering I'm the one who made you Katsudon"
"I just follow the recipe I found online. Now hurry up and eat! I want to explore your world" He set the tray on your bed and went out of the room.
After breakfast, you showered, dressed, and headed out with Izuku. You brought him to a small building where you could see bright lights shining through the window. You both headed inside to see the arcade machines.
"Welcome to the arcade!"
"Arcade?" He gives you a puzzled look.
"It's a place with many electric games. You play it and can earn tickets and use those tickets to get prizes. Ooh! Let's go on this one, come on I'll teach you!" You dragged him with you. It was a motorcycle racing game, fit for only 2 players. Izuku surprisingly learned fast.
"I'm going to win this, you'll see"
"Oh, keep dreaming honey" Izuku was taking this too seriously. After a few minutes, he ended up winning.
"Yay! I won!"
"Argh! Let's try another game"
"You wanna lose again?"
"We'll see about that"
"Let's try this one! Come on!" He ran to another game like an excited little baby. You chuckled and followed him"

After visiting the arcade, you took Izuku to the library.
"Wow, so many books"
"A lot of characters like you are in each book"
"Wow"
"I'll get some books then we'll go back home to our comfy bed to read"
"My favorite thing to do"
"Same, honestly"
You brought the books and you both went home.

You both covered yourselves in comfy, warm, blankets. Izuku wrapped his arms around your waist as he stared at the book you brought.
"Y/N, can I read for you?"
"Sure" you smiled.
Izuku reached over to the coffee table and grabbed the book. You placed your head on his shoulder and listened to him as he read the book word by word, his deep voice was a whole other level of tranquility. You closed your eyes and slept peacefully on his shoulder. Izuku noticed you and smiled, he placed the book on the nightstand and slept too.
⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⊰⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅⋅•⋅∙∘☽༓☾∘∙•⋅⋅⋅•⋅⋅⊰⋅•
"Your food is the best" Izuku said while eating another bowl of Katsudon you made for him.
"I'll gladly cook for you everything" You smiled.
"Wow, I love you" You knew he didn't mean it like that but your heart started beating fast after hearing it from him.
A bit of time passed and you guys are both laying in bed again, reading another book. "Slow dancing in the living room, warm lighting, music in the background... I wish I could live like the main character's in this book"
"Allow me to help you" You looked at him, a bit confused about what he is doing.
Izuku went over to your speaker and played some music, he made sure the lights were dim, and then...
"May I have then dance, my love?" He says as he extended his hand to you. You were a bit taken aback by his action and flustered, but you gladly accepted his hand and you two started slow dancing.
Izuku's hold on you was gentle as if you were a fragile glass, afraid that he might break it. As if you were the most precious gemstone ever. You got lost in each other's eyes, your mouths may have been shut but those eyes were speaking for themselves. Everything was perfect, you didn't want this to end.
"So this is what love feels like..."
Days passed you and Izuku had gotten even closer and your feelings for each other got deeper and deeper every day. Everything was perfect in a way that made you fear that this was just a beautiful dream, but reality isn't always so bad as people say. Reality can show you each and every color of happiness...
"The weather is amazing," You said.
"This moment is amazing" Izuku added.
"Yes...yes indeed" You looked at the view in front of you, admiring it.
"The city lights are so beautiful" Izuku looked at you deeply and said...
"Oh, darling, out of all the city lights, none of them shines brighter than you"
Surprised, you turned to look at him.
"I found everything I wanted in those eyes of yours. I found a friend. A home. Pure love...and I can't help but fall even more for them. I love you...my heart chooses to beat just for you"
Eyes tearing up from the heartfelt confession, you grabbed him by his collar and kissed him. He kissed you back, gently pulling you closer.
"Reality can show you each and every color of happiness"

Class A field trip around Japan - Day 3
See Day 1 for context. (Translations are google translate / stuff I found translated (credit). Apologies for any errors, feel free to suggest corrections).
EDIT: In the meantime I saw someone already made translations / posted all of this. Here is their post with translations (can't reblog it, as I think I'm blocked by them)
Tumblr media
Aizawa: Bakugou, you are too loud!
Deku analyzing "sauce katsudon" from Fukui with Ochako and Mineta
Tumblr media
🥦: mutter-mutter-mutter: It's a sour sauce that originated in Fukui Prefecture. The sauce soaks into the cutlet and creates a deep flavor!!! You can say that the sauce is helping the katsu, but also that the katsu is helping the sauce Exactly like the food embodiment of "tasukete katsu, katsutte tasukeru" (save to win, win to save). [Yes, there's one tsu too much, so it's another katsu (food) but also like katsu (win)]. You could even call it the soul food of a hero. I don't think it's an exaggeration. ..This is a food that embodies the idea that cutlets can save people. I won't stop...I want all of Japan to know this..
🍇: 😵
🍵: He's saying that it's delicious...
The sweet tooth brigade (Sato, Momo, Ochako, Shoto) trying out Aichi's Ogura toast:
Tumblr media
🍬: I've been waiting... This is...
🍑: Yes, it's delicious
🍰: Half-sweet, half-salty...
Jirou, Ojirou and Hagakure at the Jigokudani Monkey Park which is famous for its Japanese macaques soaking in hot springs.
Tumblr media
🤲: Ojiro-kun! I can't really see it (his tail)!?
👂: We are being watched!
🐿️: Because I have a tail, they are conscious of their territory... (???)
(Not sure, it seems to be a tail-joke)
Mina, Asui, Todoroki and Kouda visiting the Sado island - Rabbit Kannon
Tumblr media
👽: Justice!!! So cute! 🍰: Is “justice” cute? Well then. This Kannon is auspicious for the heroes. 🐸"Cute" is also very deep.
(I don't fully get this one, but I think the joke is that Todoroki is confused by Mina's use of slang).
Sero, Kaminari, Mineta, Mirio at the fruit trees of Yamanashi overlooking Mt Fuji
Tumblr media
(I can't make sense of the dialogue here - sg. about Mirio being a tourism ambassador?)
Iida, Deku, Bakugou, Kirishima and All Might at Omicho market in Ishikawa prefecture
Tumblr media
👓: There are over 180 stands here!!
💥: Just tell me which one is the most delicious!!
🥦: Well, that would be every single one
🦈: Ugh~ one day is not enough
AM: The boys look like they're having fun
Todoroki and Tokoyami at the Kurobe Dam (the biggest dam in Japan)
Tumblr media
🐦‍⬛: A Torrent of Power, Liberation from Commandments. Those who were once sealed together, have released their powers. Can you feel it, Todoroki!
🍰: Not especially.
Deku, Iida, Ochako and Sero at Shirakawa Gassho-zukuri village - (Uraraka's quirk pose is similar to the roofs)
Tumblr media
👓: Let's do a photo!
🍵: Grassho pose!
🧻: Good one!
Momo, Mina, Aoyama and Shoji at Mt Fuji - As seen from Shizuoka's tea fields
Tumblr media
✨: Blue mountains are beautiful, aren't they? 🍑: Mt. Fuji must be seen from a distance to see its full size, which is why it looks blue. The light scatters the blue light, creating a thick layer of air between them.
👽: Yaomomo, you know everything!!!

Where Katsuki can't wait to get out of this stupid party. Thankfully, Deku comes to his rescue... with a sandwich.
If Katsuki is not a pro hero, he can just tell all of them to respectfully fuck off and leave him alone. But he cannot burn his bridges to the influential and rich folks who kinda help Katsuki and other pro-heroes in politics and social images
"Ahh! Kacchan! I've been looking for you! Let's go, it's mission time!" Deku, presumably sent by the deities who Katsuki hasn't pissed off yet, comes outta nowhere with his paradoxically annoying and comforting voice, "Excuse us, pretty ladies. The Wonder Duo is being summoned!"
Deku takes his hand, firm and unwavering, and drags him away from the lady hounds. He leaves them instead with an alarmingly enchanting smile that Deku has always been known for.
If Deku was a pokemon, this would be one of his abilities. (Deku used ‘Cute boy-next-door-charm’ IT WAS SUPER EFFECTIVE!)
The party hall is pretty big, so there are corners that are empty. Deku takes him to one of those corners.
There's no one there that can hear him, but Deku excitedly lowers his voice and leans to whisper next to Katsuki's ear. It reminds him of a five year old Deku, with bruises on his knees but at the same time, breathless and delighted to tell Katsuki about the bird's nest he just discovered.
“Kacchan, I was wandering around,” Deku flails his arms excitedly, “...then I found the kitchen and guess what!” There’s so much giddiness and happiness in his voice that Katsuki can’t help but grin back.
Deku takes out two ziplock bags from inside his suit, “I MADE US KATSUDON SANDWICHES!!”
“Oh my god!” Katsuki’s stomach makes a sound (similar to what the velociraptors make) at the sight of the sandwiches. “You have no idea how hungry I am, Deku! I can eat a whole fucking horse!”
Deku hands him one of the sandwiches and proceeds to hurriedly unwrap his own. Apparently, he’s not the only one hungry in this stupid party.
Katsuki takes a bite of his immediately and his tastebuds are greeted by that familiar creamy and tangy spice, “Whoa! Samurai sauce?! Where did you find it?!” his eyes widen to big saucers. Samurai sauce is like spicy mayo, but tangier. Katsuki puts it on almost all of his sandwiches when they visited the Netherlands for a mission. But it's not sold in Japan, last he checked.
“Of course! I was lucky I found it in kitchen here! Maybe the chefs keep it for international dishes. I was just looking for any spicy sauce. Then I saw this, and I was like, Jackpot!! Samurai sauce!!” Deku takes another bite and hurriedly chews, “I knew you’d like that!”
Spicy katsudon with samurai-sauce sandwich, thoughtfully made by Deku--Katsuki can’t ask for anything more wholesome and sweeter than this.
“Thanks for rescuing me again from that.” He nods his head to the direction of the female celebrities. “Did you sense it or something?”
“Heh, I don’t need a quirk to sense that you’re in danger.” He sticks his tongue out at Katsuki.
“You mean THEY were in danger FROM me. I could have blown their heads off and this whole party.” Katsuki finishes the last bite of his sandwich.
“..which you won’t do because we have to keep everyone happy and we want our agencies handsomely sponsored.” Deku finishes his sandwich too, “Don’t worry Kacchan. I’ll save you all the time.”
Katsuki knows deep in his bones that Deku will keep that promise forever.
Like hell you will. This is the only time you save me. From now on, I’ll do the saving for both of us.” He takes Deku’s hand and silently thanks every possible god listening right now for this genuinely good thing in his life. “Come on, sandwich wizard. Let’s get some drinks.”
Well-fed, in good company and happy, Katsuki promises himself that he’ll marry this man someday.
A few years later, surrounded by their closest friends and family, he fulfilled his promise to himself and to Bakugou Izuku.
---🧡💚 ---
Did you know that this was inspired by the song I Don't Care? I just think about Kacchan wanting to escape a stupid party, but he'll gladly stay as long Deku is there.

a suggestion on how to cook zhu bajie would be fried pork chops with a nice spiced apple sauce, it can double as a glaze it you add honey, plus honey can tenderize the meat, though i can also recommend katsudon or pork taco, though pork meatballs or herb and mushroom stuffed pork belly would be good during autumn, maybe if you want to be fancy, stir-fried lotus root with pork onions and mushrooms are good, or maybe bamboo shoot and pork fried rice, or some classic pork roast with a nice herb, peach or apple rub to cut back on the fat
Me rn: ✍️✍️ ayo this some good shit right here
Reader holding up a knife to Bajie's throat after he says some gross shit to her: Act like a pig. Get cooked like a pig. I haven't had quality meat in a while.
Bajie: *gulps* I-I would like to apologize...
Reader: Oh I bet you fuckin would.

ROMY!!!!!! The fans want to know: who’s the better cook between u and choso??? What’s ur fav food to make him and what’s his to make you??? 🎤🎤🎤🎤💖✨
Hi melk!!! Ty for the questions ily 💕
Choso is the slightly better cook out of the two of us once he gets the hang of it, bc he definitely has more patience than me </3 I get frustrated when things take a long time/a lot of prep unless he's helping me lmaoo
I'd say my favorite thing to make him would be katsudon, which is the first 'japanese' thing I ever learned to make for him. That or snickerdoodle cookies! (I think he would like cinnamon desserts more than chocolate ones...I'll eat all the chocolate ones tho <3)
His favorite thing to make me is homemade pasta with pesto sauce (he asked my mom for the recipe and made it for me as a surprise once and I almost started crying happy tears. he got so panicked for a second tho poor baby he thought i was actually upset 😭 )

I just can't even. Smh. You can't fuck up a simple zaru soba.
So, whenever I read a tddk fic mentioning Midoriya attempting to make them and it's described as him fucking it up, I just smh! Fucking hell. It's so simple I am crying! For reference, Todoroki Shouto's favourite food, Zaru Soba is so easy to make. Okay?
You just have to buy a pack of soba noodles with four or five portions in one bag depending on the brand you'll use. And the sauce can be bought in bottles. You just need to add a bit of dashi or cold water to dilute the strong taste of the sauce. As for the dashi, you can either buy a powder dashi or make them from scratch which is super easy: just simmer a 5x5 kombu in a pot (this is one portion btw) before adding a pinch of bonito flakes. Do not boil btw. Then, drain it with a fine strainer to separate the bonito and kombu from the dashi.
As for the sauce, if you want to make it from scratch, just add soy sauce, sugar, mirin, sake, bonito flakes and kombu in a pot and simmer. Remove the kombu and bonito by straining it. Place it in your refrigerator while your noodles cooks.
So, for the noodles, you just have to boil it in accords to the instruction behind the bag. It's usually ten to fifteen minutes to cook them in boiling water. Then, you drain it and rinse the noodles in cold running water before serving them.
Unless you make the soba noodles from a scratch, then, that's where it gets complex.
Chopped some scallions for garnish (or seaweeds whatever you like). Then, you're done.
Please do your research sometimes. There are tons of recipe online for Zaru Soba. Katsudon, on the other hand…

MINORS AND AGELESS BLOGS DNI
I'm gonna be honest, this is just some really self indulgent domestic fluff and smut with my favorite onigiri chef. Like if you enjoyed, reblog if you also agree that Osamu's love language is food.
Pairing: Miya Osamu/Reader
Content warnings: no pronouns used, afab reader. Contains smut.

Everyone who knows Osamu knows he loves to eat. He tells people that he can’t pick a favorite food, and for the most part that’s true, he’ll eat anything put in front of him. There are a few things he’ll savor - his mom’s spicy tuna mayo onigiri, Granny Yumie’s kamameshi, and the takoyaki he gets every summer at Tanabata in Osaka are some of the dishes that come to mind - but Osamu’s favorite thing to eat is you.
The smell of frying food greets him when he opens the door to your shared apartment. He toes his shoes off and hangs his hat on the hook by the door, and pads over to the kitchen. You’re standing in front of the stove, hair tied up with a too big apron tied around your waist, squinting at a handwritten recipe card on the counter as several pots sizzle and boil in front of you on the stove. The apron was a joke gift from Atsumu, a housewarming gift with ‘kiss the cook’ printed in big letters on the front, and Osamu is pretty sure he recognizes his mother’s handwriting on the recipe card as he steps in the kitchen to wraps his arms around your waist and tuck his head in your neck.
“Welcome home,” you greet him, affection heavy in your voice as you raise a hand to gently card through his hat hair while you stir a pot of sauce on the stove. He just grunts and tightens his arms around you, turning his head to trail little kisses up your neck to your ear, where he tugs your earlobe in between his teeth and then blows cool air on the wet skin, sending shivers skittering down your spine. You turn in his hold, a smile on your lips as you swat at him playfully. “Samu! What are you doing?”
“Just followin instructions,” he says, an impish smile on his face as he turns around with you in his arms to pin you against the countertop “See, it says right here,” he skims a teasing finger over the swell of your breasts, “I’ve gotta kiss the cook.”
Before you come back with the sarcastic reply he knows is on the tip of your tongue, he leans down and captures your mouth with his. The kiss is soft and slow, and your lips taste like cucumber mint chapstick. One of his large hands cups the back of your head, and you nip his plush bottom lip. His fingers in your hair tighten instinctively, and a deep groan rumbles out of his chest. The kiss starts to get hungrier, but as he runs his tongue over the seam of your mouth a beeping timer goes off from somewhere behind him.
“The katsu!” you say, pulling away and scrambling out of his arms. You scurry over to the stove and begin fussing with the sizzling pot of oil, using tongs to fish out two golden brown cutlets. “Dinner will be ready soon, so you should go shower,” you make a shooing motion at him without turning away from the stove. “You stink.”
Osamu takes a moment to appreciate your mussed hair and the way you haven’t quite caught your breath yet before he shoots you a little two-finger salute and ambles out to the bathroom. The hot water does feel nice on his arms, sore from slinging 50 kilo rice sacks, but his stomach rumbles loudly, so he finishes the shower quickly and strolls back out into the living room. He’s just in time to watch you set out two steaming bowls of katsudon, hot soup, and pickled vegetables on the dining room table, before you shuck your apron and take a seat.
“Thank ya for dinner, darlin,” he says, leaning over to kiss your cheek before he tucks into his food. There’s quiet conversation as the two of you eat and share stories about your workdays, and your cozy apartment feels warm and intimate as the world shrinks to just the two of you at the table.
Eventually, all that is left is empty dishes and your joined hands on the table. Osamu rubs his thumb on the back of your hand and watches with his chin propped in his hand as you gesture wildly while you talk about the shenanigans of the coworker who you’ve affectionately dubbed your work wife.
“- and then the elevator doors opened, seriously, it was like they were on cue,” you laughed. You sighed and squeezed his hand affectionately. “I suppose it’s time to clean up,” you distentangle your fingers from his and move to get up, only to look at him with big eyes when he puts a gentle hand on your shoulder.
“You cook, I clean, remember? That’s the rule,” he says, standing. He reaches over you to gather bowls in his hands, deliberately leaning in close to press a kiss to your hair. He hears shuffling behind him and knows you’re getting up to follow.
“But you’ve been in the kitchen all day,” you argue. “At least let me help.”
“A’right, fine. You dry,” Osamu tosses you a rag as he takes his place at the sink. He waits till you’re occupied with a pot before he flicks a handful of water at you, and he can’t bite back his snigger at the way you startle and glare at him. A few dishes later, he sees you move out of the corner of his eye, but he isn’t fast enough to dodge the now-wet towel that cracks across his ass with a flick of your wrist. “Kinky,” he whistles.
“Fair’s fair, babe,” you wink at him as you take a clean dish from the sink. You squeak as he claps a soapy hand on your ass, leaving a wet handprint on the seat of your lounge pants.
“Now it’s fair,” he says smugly, jiggling your cheek in his hand for a moment before he begins washing the last bowl. You sputter and stick your tongue out at him as you dry the last dish, before turning to try and examine the wet spot on your pants. Osamu just laughs at your indignation and dries his hands. He reaches out to loop a finger in the drawstring of your pants and draws you in, the fingertips of his other hand skating up your arm, leaving goosebumps in their wake. He buries his fingers in your hair and traces your jawline with his thumb, staring at you contemplatively. “I think I’m still hungry,” he says, looping an arm around your waist.
“Why didn’t you say anything before we cleaned everything up?” you ask, wrinkling your nose at him. You go to pull away, and he tightens his grip on you.
“Because I want somethin’ sweet,” he says. He closes the gap between you and kisses you, the movement languid but purposeful. He kisses like he’s hungry and wants to savor each pass of your lips, each swipe of tongue. The movement of his mouth against yours draws a sigh from you, and he swallows it greedily. Slowly, he pulls back, appreciating the way you blink up at him. He swipes his thumb across your bottom lip, collecting some of the moisture that clings to it, and brings it to his mouth with an appreciative hum. “Sweet,” he murmurs, meeting your gaze. “But I know ya have somethin sweeter for me, darlin. Will ya lemme taste you?”
You hold his eyes for a moment before a giggle bursts out of you. “God, Samu, that’s so corny,” you laugh, leaning your head on his shoulder.
“Don’t act like ya don’t love it, sweetheart,” he says, leaning in to nibble on your ear. “Whaddaya say?” he whispers to you. “Gonna lemme eat you out, make ya feel good?”
Your laugh stutters and turns breathless in your chest. “Please,” you breathe against him.
As soon as you ask, you feel him bend down and haul you over his shoulder. Another laugh tumbles out of you, high and surprised as your world upends and you find yourself looking at his delectably round ass. You can’t help yourself, you reach down and slap it, only to yelp as he turns his head and bites your ass through the thin fabric of your lounge pants. You’re still breathlessly giggling as he deposits you on your bed, kneeling between your legs like he belongs there, before he leans down to capture your lips in another kiss. You can feel him smiling into it too, before he deepens the kiss and draws a moan out of you as he trails his lips from your mouth down your neck.
You feel him nose aside the collar of your shirt and bite down, sucking a mark into the soft skin just below your collarbone. At the same time, his hands start dragging themselves up your sides, bringing your shirt with them. Osamu pulls your shirt off and busies himself with kissing and sucking his way down your chest, leaving a trail of marks as he brings his mouth to one of your breasts, nipple already pert and pebbled. He sucks it in his mouth and rolls it with his tongue, before gently biting at it.
“What - hah- happened to eating me out?” you pant, looking down at him.
He lets your breast slide out of his mouth and smiles lazily at you, grey eyes twinkling with mischief. “Relax,” he says as he kisses his way over to your other breast, rolling your wet nipple in his fingers. “Ya don’t rush a good meal.” He gives your breast the same attention, making sure to not leave either peak unattended. He continues until he has you panting and shifting underneath him, rolling your hips in little circles against his chest in search of friction. You feel him huff a quiet laugh against your skin, the puff of air cool on the wet marks littering your chest.
Leisurely, teasingly, he begins to make his way down, sitting back on his haunches to pull your lounge pants off, and then slowly, your panties. He takes his time, enjoying the way they stick to your folds as he pulls them away. He trails his fingers all the way down your leg, carefully sliding your panties off and discarding them somewhere behind him before he presses a kiss to your ankle. He meets your gaze as he readjusts himself to lay between your legs, his big hands wrapping around your thighs as he settles himself in front of your sex.
“Thank you for the meal,” he murmurs, laving one kitten lick over your clit before diving in.
Osamu is a messy eater. Your pants and moans are undercut with the sounds of him greedily eating you out, and over the blood rushing in your ears you can hear him murmuring - “you taste so good darlin, could stay here forever.”
Your thighs start to shake and he knows you’re getting close. You feel him trace a finger over your opening, teasing you for just a second before he sinks a finger into your wet heat. A moan shakes itself out of your ribcage as you arch your back, fingers fisting in the sheets and your thighs tighten around his head. He sucks your clit in his mouth and adds a second finger, and he crooks his fingers in the perfect way that has you falling apart around him. You throw your head back and come on his face, and you can feel him moan as he works you through your orgasm.
As soon as your vision clears you reach down and tug on whatever you can reach, urging him up to kiss you. You run your nails through the short hair at the base of his neck, and he shivers in your hold while you taste yourself on his tongue.
You roll your hips against him, feeling his hardness against your upper thigh, and he drops his head to your shoulder with a moan. “C’mon baby, let me take care of you,” you urge, coaxing Osamu onto his back. He quickly shucks his pants and boxers and pulls you on top of him, pulling you in for a sweet kiss before you sit up and line him up with your entrance.
“M’ not gonna last,” he gasps out as you sink down on him, his hips snapping up to meet yours. You both moan in unison as you begin rocking your hips against his, the sensation of him so deep inside you too much for both of you. You brace your hands against his chest and do your best to ride him, but your thighs are already shaky after your orgasm, so you don’t protest when he grabs your hips and begins to chase his release in your warmth. Keeping yourself upright with one hand, you reach between your bodies and find your clit. The brush of nerves makes your eyes squeeze shut, and you bring yourself to a second peak moments before his hips stutter and you feel his cock twitch inside you as he comes with a low groan.
You both take a moment to recover, panting chest to chest. You move first, smattering kisses over Osamu’s face and chest as he blinks up at you with a dopey grin. “I love you,” he sighs happily, tracing nonsense shapes over your hip. “Next time someone asks me what my favorite food is, I’m gonna say your pu-”
You slap him on the shoulder. “Don’t you dare, Miya Osamu!”

34, tododeku perhaps??
“I have never loved you as much as I do right now.”
There were some things about moving in with Todoroki Shoto that surprised Izuku, though in hindsight they shouldn’t have. He was much the same as he’d been in the dorms.
He’d renovated his room in much the same way here, and even outside of that room traces of him bled out.
He was pristinely neat- but more out of habit than any real desire for it, Izuku thought. He didn’t mind the replenishing pile of dishes by the sink, laundry hung out days after it had been dried, or the odd pile of Izuku’s merch that hadn’t found a place yet. And he never grumbled about cleaning to that neatness, even though Izuku was certain it had not been part of his expectations growing up.
He even was neat himself, face never blooming with sunspots or freckles or acne. His long hair never seemed affected by humidity, like how Shoto himself wasn’t by heat. When he worked, it was braided perfectly down the middle of his head, even as it’d been the second time he’d done it, because another thing about Shoto was he seemed to learn everything quickly.
Well, everything... except cooking, that was.
Which was why he was currently in the mess of the kitchen, half his hair pulled out of his tie, sauce splattered all over him while Izuku checked his eyes.
No concussion, that was good.
“Are you going to let me up now?” Shoto asked.
“Give me a second.” Izuku huffed, reaching for a kitchen towel to mop at the spill all over him. “No burns anywhere? Pains, snaps?”
“No, Deku, I’m completely field-ready.” Shoto’s assurance was as dry as their kitchen was currently not.
Izuku pictured him actually going on the field like this, and had to shew away the image before it made him laugh.
“Izuku?” A cold hand touched his, and he realized he was still staring at Shoto’s disarrayed state.
That was rude, he shouldn’t, but-
There was just something about him, looking like this. Izuku wanted an excuse to keep moving the towel over him, wanted to run his fingers through that hair until it was all pulled down and tangled around him instead.
“Izuku, what are you thinking?” Shoto’s voice took another tone- the one more cautious, calculating, like on the field.
The one to pull him out of One For All, when needed.
He shook his head. “Sorry, I’m fine, Shoto. Just thinking.”
“Thinking what? You aren’t going to try to take a picture, are you?” His brows narrowed a little in suspicion.
“No.” Izuku let a bit of laugh bleed into his voice as he shook his head again. “Just thinking that I’ve never loved you as much as I do right now.”
Shoto jerked, and Izuku leaned back to let him push himself off the floor, but his arm moved to his pocket instead. “Izuku, I-” He stopped, taking his hand out to brace himself instead.
“What is it?”
“Oh, was just about to call it in, but I’m not giving up yet. I’m making you katsudon.”
“Never giving up.” Izuku teased like he had any right to. “Plus Ultra. Or because your phone is actually on the cabinet and not in your pocket so you can’t call it in here?”
Instead of answering, Shoto stuck out his tongue, then moved back to the stove.
He’d frozen the pot of ice to keep that from exploding on him too, and there wasn’t much sauce left either.
Izuku was actually nervous to let him try frying the pork, so he made sure to stay close the rest of the cooking process.

Van Ink Za Tatsu No Harem || On a Good Note - Final Part 1
Hi everyone! This is the final drabble for Ink Van Za Tatsu No Harem. This is for my awesome partner. @the-silver-peahen-residence. Not sure if this is final but if there is no news. I will consider this the final part. To catch up! Read the previous parts!
----- Parts -----
Part 17 - Relief Within The Claws by Peahen-Mun
Part 18 - Path to Recovery
Part 19 - Meanwhile in the Demon World
----- Summary ------
After her fight with Kali, Ink is back at the hosptial and recovering before she is discharged. But there are unanswered questions that Ink needed answers. A few ones that made everyone flabbergasted. Find out it what is!
--------
----- Hospital ----
Ink's recovery is going well. It seems like Ink is getting better so far and she is more happier. Although...there were things that are left unanswered. A few things that live rent-free in Ink's mind.
For breakfast, Atsushi made her a meal. A typical Japanese breakfast with a special twist. Tea over rice with mackerel, miso, peeled oranges and egg pudding. Ink is impressed by this and goes to eat. This wakes up her and the food makes her relaxed after yesterday.
"Thank you, Atsushi! It tastes so good!" Ink smiles happily making Atsushi blush a little. "Oh...t-thank you! I'm glad you like it!" Though Atsushi noticed something is up. It seems Ink is thinking about something. He heard from Midoriya that Ink sneak out of the hospital to fight Kali. Atsushi had a good idea why but he didn't want to question her about it.
'She is probably mad about what Kali did. Did she went just to fight her on our behalf?' Atsushi thought. He also heard from Midoriya that the situation seems to be resolved
After she finished eating and talking to Atsushi a bit about what was going on, Atsushi excused himself and bid her later as he is going to work and check up on Dazai and Kunkida regarding case. Atsushi will come back later.
Throughout the afternoon, Ink is still racking her brain about it. She wanted to know but it always slip her mind because she is so busy with Fosh in finding an apartment regarding Navarro's punishment. Fosh is still there when Midoriya arrived, visiting her with a lunch special.
"Hi Ink! Oh hello Fosh!" Midoriya smiles at them both. Midoriya presents his lunch.
Katsudon: A fried pork cutlet over rice with steamed eggs mixed with sauteed onions simmered in a sweet and savory sauce. It's hot and Ink's mouth waters with delight. Ink has to try this so badly.
Ink widen her eyes at this. "Woah! You made this for me?! Thank you so much! You told me it's so good." Ink said making Midoriya before taking a bite, by picking a piece of fried pork, egg, onion and rice and and puts it in her mouth. Ink's eyes lit up. "So good! Midoriya! This is the best comfort food I ever had!"
"I'm happy that you like it!" Midoriya smiles, upon hearing this. He also has his katusdon as well for lunch. The two are eating. Fosh already ate so it isn't a big deal. Fosh smiles seeing the two spending time. Ren brought flowers.
"Oh hey, Ren!" Ink said. Ren nods with a smile, "Good afternoon, Ink. How's your lunch! Great! Midoriya made me a katsudon!" Ink grins. Ren smiles. "Good to know. Katsudon is good for lunch."
And so time passes so slowly, Ink and Midoriya eating, Fosh looking up the houses and Ren replaces the flowers. Soon, the unanswered thoughts came back to her mind as she is eating. Midoriya notices Ink's thoughtful expression. When she eats, she looks so....calm and gentle compared to her usual optimism. But he wonders....what is she thinking about.
"Ink? Is there something on your mind?" Midoriya asked. Ink blinks, "Hm?"
"Sorry! You seem to be thinking about something." Midoriya noted waving his hands apologetically with a smile.
"Oh uh..there's something that has been bothering me since my fraction told me everything about the party. Not only that...it's even after my fight with Kali. So I had a few questions that needed to be solved."
"I see." Midoriya smiles gently, "Then I can answer anything you need to know," Midoriya asked.
"Really?" Ink smiles making Midoriya smile, "Of course! So tell me!"
Ren is now curious as Bakugo is hearing this outside the door. He came by just to check up on Ink while keeping guard. They can help Ink with whatever they need. But when the boys heard her question.
"Okay! What's a harem?!" Ink said so genuinely and innocently that Midoriya falls out of his chair, Bakugo almost tripped himself while Ren and Fosh almost spit out their coffees. Fosh is coughing making Ren slap his back, to pull himself together. The four boys stared at Ink in disbelief as she is tilting her head in confusion, blinking innocently.
Fosh stared in horror. "Uhhhh...."
After all this time... Ink has no idea what a harem is! Fosh stared.
Bakugo twitched an eye. He is seriously going to kill that damn gremlin, Navarro if he had a chance. Did not he explain anything to her or what?!
Okay, maybe Navarro is right. Sorta! Not that, I am giving him any credit! Fosh thought.
"Midoriya? What's a harem? My friends keep saying it but I have no idea what that is." Ink said.
"Uh...well...um" Midoriya stammered and looks at Fosh for an answer. Fosh is too choked up, "Oh uh....well....I don't know! Has Oblivion has been saying it and I completely forgot what it means so I don't know. I was busy!'
What do you mean you don't know! You have a phone in front of you!!' Midoriya thought. Then he looks to Ren, "Maybe Ren can tell you? It's a quirk I never before of." He chuckles.
Wow, a nice way to save yourself, Midoriya.
"Huh?" Ren blinked dumbfounded. Ren looks at Midoriya as if he is serious right now.
"Yeah! Ren can tell you!" Fosh nods his head. Ren clears his throat before answering, "Well....this word is foreign to me. Bakugo will know." Ren said, passing the question over to the explosive pro-hero.
"HA?!" Bakugo yelled. Bakugo glares at Ren, Midoriya, and Fosh right now. Are they seriously not going to tell her?! What the hell?! Oh, fuck it! If they're not going to answer her, he will!
"A harem means when multiple people really like you. Like a lot." Bakugo said seriously. "So they formed a group which is called a harem and will do anything for you." Of course, he accidentally omits love but nobody is ready for that!
"Oh....so...like...." Ink thinks making the boys nervous except for Bakugo. "Like a fraction?" Ink asked as she looks unsure. Bakugo sighs. "Not really. It's more than that."
"Like a fan club!" Fosh exclaimed making the boys stare in disbelief, Midoriya almost drop his bowl of food and Ren raises a brow at this.
"Oh! Like a fan club? Is that what it is?" Ink said making Fosh nods. "Yep! Fosh said with a sheepish smile.
"That's not what it is and you know it ya damn geek!" Bakugo shouted making Fosh nervous. "I mean you make it sound like it!" Fosh laughs nervously making Bakugo glare at him making the Fosh sweatdrop.
"I agree," Ren said, just to avoid further awkwardness. " A fan club would do anything for it. It's like the same thing with pro-heroes."
"Oh! That makes sense. Is that true, Midoriya?" Ink asked. Midoriya blinked then sees Ren gives him a look. "Oh yes! I agree!" The green-haired hero nods his head.
'Seriously?!' Bakugo thought. Nobody is going to tell her the real meaning.
"Anyway...I like what the word means." Ink smiles. "It sounds really cool to me."
"I think so, Ink!" Midoriya smiles, just
Someday....Ink will know the meaning of the word. For now, they have her know that on her own. Of course, they aren't ready for the next word that Ink picks when ADA gang arrives; Kunkida, Dazai and Atsushi with Shdwkyz and Hellmare in tow. Denji and Rin came by from their mission just to pop in and say hello.
"Everyone!" Ink grins.
"Hello, Miss Ink! How are you doing today?!" Dazai greeted her with a cheerful smile as he is with Kunkida and Atsushi. "I heard from Atsushi that you're healing up nicely after a nice breakfast made by him here."
Atsushi chuckles as he looks embarrassed. He twirls his hair a bit. Hellmare giggles while Shdwkyz smiles a bit.
"Yeah! Atsushi and Midoriya's food helps me a ton! Ren told me that he is going to cook me some dinner so I can't wait." Ink smiles.
"That's good to know. Soon, you will be discharged from the hospital in no time. Yasano informs us." Kunkida said with a small smile. Ink nods, "I'm happy to hear it! Also uh! I forgot. Dazai and Kunkida, can I ask you something? There's this Japanese word I need to know and well...I was planning to ask you all about it so if it's okay if I ask.."
"Of course. Please ask us." Kunkida said as he wants to help.
"I bet it must have a meaning..." Hellmare said. Oh....they have no idea when Ink asks this.
"What's a mokkori?" Ink asked causing everyone to freeze except for Fosh, Shdwkyz, and Hellmare.
Everyone in the floor quieted with their eyes widen except Fosh and Shdwkyz blinked, noticing the look on everyone's faces.
"A mokkori?" Fosh repeated. "What does that mean?" And why is everyone's face turning red?! Do they know what the word means?!
"Where did you learn this word, Ink?" Asked Hellmare.
"When I was fighting Kali. She told me I got this mokkori body and I don't get what that means. She says it's a Japanese word and I should ask you after fighting her." Ink explained.
"A Japanese word?" Shdwkyz looks at the detectives Kunkida and Atsushi's faces are red blushing hearing that. He sees that Midoirya' and Bakugo's faces turned red along with Ren who looks away. Rin's jaw dropped. Denji blinks as he knows the word. Dazai blinks and grins so mischievously. Why does he have a feeling that the word is vulgar?
Where in the world did Kali hear that?! Midoriya yelled in his head.
'Oh dear....' Atsushi sweatdropped.
'What the hell???' Rin said.
'Mokkori...' Denji spaced out for a moment.
'What did that damn harpy tell Ink?!' Bakugo stared.
'Not going to answer that....' Ren thought.
Now ladies and gentlemen, if you are curious about what the word 'mokkori' means. Please google the word at your own discretion!
"I can tell you what that is." Denji speaks with his hand raised, "It means when-" Then Rin whacked Denji over the head with his tail before he says the definition of the word.
"Eh?" Ink blinked dumbfounded.
"Oops! Sorry! That was an accident! I got to get Denji checked by a nurse! Be right back!" Rin laughed as he pushes him out the door, whispering into Denji's ear 'What the hell is wrong with you?! You are not telling her that!' while dragging a dizzy Denji out of the room. 'B-but she asked...' Denji muttered.
"Oh...okay." Ink said.
Then Dazai had that look on his face as Atsushi knew what he's going to do. "I think Atsushi will answer that for you!"
"Wait...m-m-me?! I don't have any idea what that is, either!" Atsushi stammered as he looks like he doesn't want to answer that one. Shdwkyz can tell Atsushi is definitely lying. Dazai sighs, "Is that so? Well then Miss Ink! I will tell you what mokkori really means so you will know!!"
"Really?" Ink smiled. Midoriya had this look of panic and Bakugo glared at Dazai, 'Don't you dare!!'. They shouted.
"Of course! Mokkori means when a man sees a beautiful lady such as yourself, they get-" But then Dazai is kicked out of the floor, literally kicked, by Kunkida making everyone in the room startled and dumbfounded.
"Uhhhhh..." Everyone blinked.
"Excuse me. It seems like we were called on a case. Please excuse us. Atsushi stay with Ink." Kunkida pushes his glasses up, leaving the room.
"Y-yes." Atsushi nodded his head as he knew full well what Kunkida is doing. When Kunkida closes the door behind him and then....there is a disturbance outside of the room. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! YOU CANNOT TELL HER WHAT IT MEANS!! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR DAMN MIND?! SHE IS A CHILD! DON'T YOU DARE, YOU SUDICIAL IDIOT!'' Kunkida yelled as the group hear the sounds of someone being hit. Fosh, Ren, and Midoriya sweatdropped as they laughed nervously. Shdwkyz and Bakugo just stare with a deadpan expression.
"Hahahahahaha!" Atsushi said. "Don't worry, Ink. This is normal!" He said, hoping to distract her from Kunkida's shouting.
That's normal??? Fosh, Shdwkyz, and Hellmare thought. But seriously...they make it sound like the word 'mokkori' is a bad word or some kind of taboo to know about it. I mean why would Rin whack Denji and Kunkida beat up Dazai while everyone else didn't answer Ink's question.
"Oh okay! It sounds like Dazai is about to tell me but Kunkida say it like an emergency."
She can't be that gullible, right? Right?
"It sounds like that man would feel something when they see someone attractive." Said Hellmare, seeing that nobody is going to answer the question properly so she is going to help.
"Like butterflies in your stomach?" Shdwkyz asked.
"Yes, yes, yes! That's what exactly it means!" Midoriya said, clasping his hands together. "Right guys?!" He asked.
"Yes!" Atsushi nodded his head.
"Hm-mmh." Ren is in agreement as Bakugo rolls his eyes he can't believe this but he gets a look from the three, telling him just go along with it for now. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what it means or close to that." Bakugo sighed, he is going to find that crazy harpy and give her a piece of his mind. Oh, and Navarro too for not telling Ink what a damn harem is!
"Oh okay! That sounds wonderful! I guess that answers my questions."
Thank god. The boys except for Hellmare and Shdwkyz are glad that Ink doesn't ask any inappropriate questions.
'I hope she asks Senkai or the devil for that one.' Fosh sighed mentally before going back to his house-hunting search. And so the day went smoothly. Everyone went home except for Ren who came back at 6pm to give Ink curry with rice. She can smell the spice and sees the beef simmered in sauce. Ink is so hungry.
Ink is happily eating his food, complimenting him. "Thanks for the food."
Ren chuckles and goes to wipe some curry residue from her cheek. "Be careful. Don't get messy with food." He said while knowing full well that there are glares from Rin and Denji right now.
'Damn it! I know my meal beats him.' Rin said. "You said it!" Denji gritted while Shdwkyz sighs.
------
"A sorry! What she said?!" Yuuka asked as she can't believe what she was hearing.
"A mokkori. I had to ask because it's a Japanese word and I thought you and Oblivion would know."
"Ugh....Kali..." Yuuka groaned.
"I know that means uh... sounds...freaking weird. I'm glad you said something that's kinda similar but not really." Oblivion said to which she tells Hellmare making the violet girl widen her eyes.
"I see....that is vulgar..." Said Hellmare.
"Yeah..." Oblivion said. "I will let Ink know if she gets discharged."
"Yes please do."
And that day ended on a good hilarious note.
Now it only leaves Navarro about to move to the house that Fosh selected. Navarro is not looking forward to this punishment.
"Fuck me...I'm dead." Navarro said before he leaves.
To be continued...

How would you describe the taste of katsudon? It's a legitimate question-
Ooooh... a satisfyingly soft and subtle flavor.. there's chicken katsu and pork katsu.. meant to not be overwhelming just to be warm and soft yknow, comforting and filling with a fun crunch
and then if you're at a good place (for me that means its korean, and i order it as tonkatsu which has just the cutlets, some rice, and...) the sauce adds this sweet tang to it that really makes me happy..

Relationship status: Got two wonderful partners and a handful of other tentative/ambiguous maybe-relationships going on. And like, at least one or two active crushes at any given time, usually lmao
Favorite color: puuuuuuurple baybee. Basically any variation thereupon, purple is so fucking good
Song stuck in my head: Drink and Industry from the new Dwarf Fortress soundtrack!
youtube
Last song I listened to: idem :3
Three favorite foods: I do not have the inclination to sift through all of the foods I've eaten to select my absolute favorites, so here instead is a collection of three from the top of my head that are Pretty Fuckin Good:
Katsudon
Something that a local Japanese restaurant calls kimchee but that I'm pretty sure is just, like, cucumber chunks marinated in a lightly spicy sauce of some kind. A native Korean would probably scoff at it being called kimchee, but it's fucking good
Goddamn motherfucking miso soup holy fuck it's so good
It would seem that I am currently in the mood for Japanese food, I just might go to that restaurant tonight 🤔
Last thing I Googled: Choosing to generalize this to "last thing I queried a web search engine for" since I pretty exclusively use duckduckgo. According to my browser history it was just the word "lexicalization", probably to make certain I was using it at least somewhat correctly in a post
Dream trip: So I don't really get the urge to visit Places or Events the way some people do. I do get the urge to visit People. There's a lot of friends and friendly acquaintances I've made online who live many hundreds to thousands of miles away, and I would love to meet all of them. Giant globe-trotting voyage to meet all of the mutuals face-to-face
Anything I want right now: I would very desperately and urgently love to be living in the same house or at least the same city as both of my partners please please and thank you ;w;
Tagacity: The premise here is to "Tag 10 people you want to get to know better"; I'm gonna interpret an implicit "at least" in there, and also make a cursory attempt to avoid people I know have already been tagged. @impossiblejellyfishfart @zerindel @k-simplex @sabakos @fingors @lumsel @metastablephysicist @kaiasky @n-bunz @morrak @toasthaste @cryptovexillologist @kata4a @kwarrtz Tag-ins are both non-exhaustive and non-binding; whether you're on the list or not, do what you want forever :3

yes no maybe?!
For the WIP ask meme! yes no maybe (my obrashir post canon thing)
"So," she says at length, then, sliding the sliced up cutlets into the pan and pouring the eggs over before covering everything with the lid. "Have you given it some thought?"
"To what?" he chuckles awkwardly. He adores Keiko, but God, she can be hard to read sometimes.
"About joining us." She's looking directly at him now, licking a bit of raw yolk and sauce off her finger— if she was anyone else, Julian would assume she's being flirtatious. But this is Keiko, and her husband and children are in the room next door playing with Piggy the targ and Nerys the hara kitten.
"Uh, I don't follow."
Keiko sighs, then moves over to the sink to rinse off the cutting board. "I think it would be nice if you and Miles had sex," she says almost absentmindedly.
Choking on his spoonful of sauce, Julian grips the counter and coughs into his shoulder before turning back to Keiko, wide-eyed. "/What?/" "What 'what'? Like you've never thought about it— ah, be a dear and get the rice bowls ready, yes?" For a second Julian just stands there in front of the O'Brien's kitchen aisle like a deer in a tractorbeam, unsure if he should be more shocked by Keiko's words /or/ the absolute blatant casual tone of voice she is using. "Julian," she says impatiently, holding the pan off of the heat. "The rice." "O-Oh, of course," he mutters and finally moves. During dinner he can't quite manage to look at her - he chalks it off to the kids being present, to the katsudon being absolutely delicious. And later to the wine they're having when Yoshi is in bed, laughing together as they reminisce about old times on the couch until Molly dozes off on Julian's shoulder and almost empties her half-empty glass of orange juice in his lap.
When Miles carries her off to her room, Julian politely finishes his drink, still avoiding eye contact. "It is getting late. I suppose I should call a skimmer to the hotel..." "No, please," Keiko starts with a glance at Miles' back disappearing in the doorway. "I'm sorry for earlier, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Julian looks at her incredulously. How else had she expected him to react? "I don't think it would be appropriate for me to stay the night, Keiko," he speaks awkwardly into his glass.
"We /do/ have a guest room." He can't help but be curious. "Did you /talk/ to Miles about this?" Keiko holds his gaze. "Not yet. It was just an idea." "/Your/ idea?" She nods, smiles and puts a hand on his arm. "Nevermind. Please stay the night, Julian. Miles would be devastated if you didn't. And the kids..." "I'm sorry," he says at length, but brightens up when Miles returns— cheeks flushed healthily even if he likely isn't drunk at all. "I'll see you two in the morning alright? Breakfast at nine o'clock? Shall I bring anything? There's a lovely little bakery down the street by my hotel, they've got those crispy tart thingies that—"
"You're leaving?" Miles asks breathlessly. "But what about the guest room?"
"Miles," Keiko chides knowingly. "I'm sure you two can manage to be apart for a mere twelve hours, considering you've survived spending the past seven months on opposite ends of the quadrant without issue..."
Julian looks from her to Miles, then back to her. "Ah, Chief. Keiko's right. And I'll be staying for an entire week as well. There's nothing to worry about."
"I'm not worried!" Miles complains, but his protests fall on deaf ears.
Calling for the skimmer is easy enough, and Julian spends the time it takes for it to get to the O'Brien's beautiful house in the Peruvian countryside helping with the dishes and awkwardly standing in the kitchen fiddling around with the potholders Molly crotcheted for Miles' birthday.
Keiko hugs him tightly, and Miles looks like a sad, wet dog when he waves goodbye over the threshold.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Julian grins at him.
"Yeah," Miles says like Julian's going to disappear back into space for another few months. "Tomorrow."

Saiyuki Reload Blast Drama CD 3 – Track 3: Free Talk
Summary: Aside from his usual trolling of Hoshi Souichirou, Hirata Hiroaki griped about Gojyo’s ‘falling quality’ while A-san ‘revealed’ some scandalous bits from his past....
Note: As Soto pointed out, free talks aren't scripted, so the voice actors often interrupt each other, talk over one another, and mumble. I’m pretty sure I did not get everything right, so I’ll really appreciate any correction.
--------
Hoshi: It’s time for the cast round-table discussion of the third volume of the Saiyuki Reload Blast Drama CD. Thank you for your hard work, everyone.
Hirata: Thank you for your hard work, too.
Hoshi: Even though it’s gradually getting colder these days, everyone’s excitement warms up the recording site.
Hirata: Is that so?
Hoshi: Yes, it is.
Hirata: Was everyone excited?
Hoshi: Yes they were. Listeners who are drinking their tea–
Seki: Are they drinking tea as they listen to us?
Hirata: Yeah, are they?
Hoshi: Yes, I imagine they’re doing so while sitting at the kotatsu and eating mandarin oranges. [A kotatsu is a low, wooden table frame covered by a futon, or heavy blanket, upon which a table top sits. Underneath is a heat source, often built into the table itself.]
Seki: Ah, I see.
Hirata (to the listeners): Everyone, is that true? You’re listening to us while sitting at the kotatsu and eating oranges?
Hoshi: Perhaps with a radio cassette player–
Everyone else: Radio cassette player?
Seki: Are we talking about the Showa era? [The Showa era ended in 1989.]
Hoshi: Okay, it could be a CD radio-cassette player.
Ishida: The important point is that it’s something that can play CDs.
Hirata: That’s a valid topic for our discussion. **
Hoshi: Well, we’ve finally wrapped up the recording for the third volume. This time too, the stories were fun.
Hirata: Fun? It was not fun for me.
Hoshi: Admit it, you had fun too.
Hirata: Hey, we recorded two tracks for this third volume, didn’t we?
Seki: Yes, we did.
Hirata: Why did I have to play okama roles in both tracks?** [Gojyo played the Queen of Hearts in Track 1 and briefly impersonated an effeminate celebrity in Track 2.]
Hoshi: Ah ha!
Seki: That’s true, he did that in both tracks.
Hoshi: In the end, indeed.
Hirata: The rest of the characters kept bringing up the past.
Hoshi: I didn’t think it would come to that point.
Hirata: Furthermore, the quality is gradually decreasing–
Hoshi: It was superb, though. A success on the first try.
Hirata: In what way?
Hoshi: You succeeded on the first try, didn’t you?
Hirata: Did I? Oh well, I suppose it’s okay.
Hoshi: All right. Here is the theme for today’s discussion: For idols, there are many rules in place for the sake of preserving their looks. Do you have personal rules of your own? For example, a rule of eating pork cutlet rice on the day before a contest. [The first two syllables of the Japanese term for pork cutlet rice, katsudon, is a homonym for the verb ‘to win’ in Japanese.] If you have such a rule, please share it. Let’s start with Seki-san.
Seki: Yes! This Seki Toshihiko, who plays Genjo Sanzo. It’s not a firm rule and may sound uncool, but I like natto [fermented soybeans]. Whenever I eat natto, first I’ll add butter to the tea, then hot rice. Around the time the butter starts to melt, I’ll put the natto on top of the rice and immediately add the soy sauce.
Hirata: Sounds delicious.
Seki: This is tasty. It’s always been my rule.
Hirata: I have a question.
Seki: Please go ahead.
Hirata: By natto, did you mean the stuff made from ground soybeans?
Seki: Yes, soybeans.
Hoshi: Ah, soybeans, is it?
Hirata: Soybeans, right? You stir them round and round before eating them.
Seki: With the butter, they form a combination that tastes superb. [YMMV.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natt%C5%8D]
Hirata: Perhaps I should try it.
Seki: Please do.
Hoshi: Let’s make it our rule too, Hirata-san.
Hirata: This does not sound like rule, as in something that Sanzo would say, like “I decided to do this today,” before going off to a match.
Hoshi: That could be a single-repetition mantra.
Hirata: What you described is just a favorite dish, isn’t it? It’s not really a rule, right?
Ishida: It’s a rule for when he’s eating natto.
Hirata: So it’s a rule, as in (doing an impersonation of Sanzo), “When I eat natto, I must add butter.” Understood.
Hoshi: I see. All right. Next, would you tell us your rule, Hirata- san?
Hirata: Me? I have none in particular.
Seki: What’s that?
Hoshi: Eh? Hirata-san’s– First, please introduce yourself.
Hirata: Ah. This is Hirata-san, er, Sha Gojyo. This is Hirata-san. Thank you for always looking after me. Recently, I’ve been playing okama characters–
Hoshi: He’s joking around.
Ishida: You’re pleased with it, aren’t you?
Hirata: I’m not.
Hoshi: You’re extremely pleased with it.
Hirata: My rule is the following: Whenever I have to play an okama character the next day, I won’t be able to sleep the night before.
Hoshi: Is that a rule?
Seki: You sound just like Osugi. [Osugi is an effeminate Japanese celebrity.]
Hirata: I can’t sleep. I feel like everyone’s thinking, “Here comes the okama again.” Is there anything else that would count as a rule? Something like superstitions? For example, making sure to step into the studio with the left foot–
Hoshi: Ah, I see.
Hirata: I don’t have that sort of rules.
Seki: Ah, yes, Hira-chan’s rule.
Hirata: Seki-san knows my rule.
Seki: Whenever I asked him if he had such a one-rule, he always answered he never had one.
Hirata: That’s my personal statement. But, did I once said something different to someone else?
Seki: Really? Something different?
Hirata: Ah, no, that’s not it. Another director absentmindedly told me off, live on the radio: “That’s it from my side. From your side – none!”
Seki: That’s probably during the early days.
Hirata: It was when I met Takakuwa-san for the third time at the recording site. [Takakuwa Hajime was the sound director for the various Saiyuki anime series and Drama CDs. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=12967] He absentmindedly–
Seki: Absentmindedly–
Hoshi: Good opening words from him.
Seki: That’s a painful experience.
Hirata: To be told “none from your side” like that, I was like “heh” – it was that kind of [awkward] mood at the time. If I’d left, I wouldn’t be in Saiyuki today.
Seki: If you were not here, it’d have been tough for us.
Hirata: Therefore, the rule that I mentioned just now, it only applies in case of Saiyuki.
Hoshi: Ah, I see.
Hirata: It’s now become my personal rule.
Hoshi: I’m glad. Well then, Ishida-san, please tell us your rule.
Ishida: Er, my rule– this is Ishida Akira, who plays Cho Hakkai. This is a tough one. Nothing seems to come to mind–
Hirata: Somehow, it feels like you’d have tonnes of rules.
Seki: You probably have lots of them your whole life.
Ishida: Do I?
Hirata: Yes, you seem like an orderly person.
Hoshi: Yes, indeed.
Hirata: You give off the air of a model student.
Ishida: Do you think so?
Hirata: Yes, I do.
Seki: First of all, whenever you ride your bicycle, you obey the traffic rules, don’t you?
Hirata: That’s a given.
Ishida: Well, I’m a man who’s broken every rule.
Seki: Oh? That’s the opposite [of what I expected]!
Hoshi: The opposite!
Ishida: Yes–
Seki: While you’re on the road?
Ishida: Yes. From the standpoint of being an idol, I’ve broken all of the love ban rules and conducted many debauched love affairs.
Hirata: Debauched love affairs?
Seki: Hey, stop it, stop it! Akira-kun, you mustn’t go on with this topic!
Ishida: Why, at this point I have lots of regrets.
Hoshi: What kind of talk is this....
Seki: Wait a minute–
Ishida: Let’s see... medical fees, child support payments and many other–
Hoshi: Eh?
Hirata: Where are you going with this?
Seki: Stop it.
Ishida: Whenever I consider the future, it sure seems tough. How long will I have to continue paying for everything? When I think about this sort of things, life seems difficult, so–
Hirata: Hold on for a second. It’s not just one or two persons you’re talking about, is it? The thing about the child support payments.
Hoshi: That’s crazy.
Ishida: That’s why, since at this stage there’s no point regretting what I’ve done, my rule is to live harshly by myself, even if I feel like I can’t go on any longer.
Hirata: I see. That’s a bit depressing.
Hoshi: That was a depressing topic.
Hirata: We should’ve cut out a portion of this volume to make space for this topic. Akira’s talk about his depressing situation has been dominating this free talk. For an omake, it’s–
Ishida: It’d be a pity to remove such an interesting drama.
Hirata: Understood. This free talk is not the place for such a drama, so let’s make a track dedicated to it. An omake Drama CD track like the Urasai sections. The title would be something like Akira’s Murky** Past–
Ishida: Even if we were to make such a Drama CD track, it’d be wasteful if it featured only the things I’ve said just now.
Hirata: It wouldn’t be, if the rest of us were to act out the various roles.
Hoshi: Act out....
Hirata: I’ll act out this part: “Akira, this child is yours!”
Seki: That’s right!
Hoshi: Hey, hey, is everything all right?
Seki: It’s just a joke.
Ishida: Well, there are many kinds of jokes.
Hoshi: Then, what’s the truth, Ishida-san?
Ishida: The truth... are you still trying to dig into it?
Hoshi: I won’t feel satisfied until I get to the truth.
Ishida: The truth is, it’d have been great if I’d done all those things.
Hoshi: Ah-ha! So it’s the opposite.
Seki: Oh, that’s how it is.
Ishida: It’d have been great if I’d done all those things, because I’d be able to give an amusing talk about them at times like this.
Hoshi: Is that so?
Hirata: That was an extremely interesting and amusing talk you gave anyway.
Seki: You definitely look happy.
Ishida: Regrettable, how regrettable.
Seki: Really.
Hirata: Haa.
Hoshi: So you made that your rule?
Ishida: Yes.
Hoshi: Ishida-san and Hirata-san have told us how their rules came to be.
Hirata: Then, how about you, who live your life in a jovial manner?
Hoshi: Jovial? Do I? Well, this is Hoshi Souichirou, who plays Son Goku.
Hirata: I know that.
Hoshi: Yes, thank you for hard work. Fundamentally, I don’t really have a rule, but if I have to call it a rule, I think it would be to eat a lot after putting in a great deal of work.
Seki: Eh, so that’s how it is.
Hirata: Then, you shouldn’t be eating at all.
Hoshi: What do you mean? What do you mean?
Hirata: You should be losing more weight.
Hoshi: Yes, I should be, but the rule I have is whenever I do my best at work, I say to myself, it’s okay to eat.
Hirata: That only applies if you do your best, right?
Hoshi: Which I do.
Hirata: Well then, you should definitely be losing more weight.
Hoshi: As I said, whenever I do my best....
Hirata: Ah, is that so. Have you been doing your best?
Seki: Say, he’s the one to decide for himself whether he’s been doing his best or not.
Hoshi: That’s right.
Hirata: So he’s using the minimum standard, isn’t he? I see.
Hoshi: That’s because we’re never told things like, “you’ve done your best today,” are we?
Ishida: We don’t get told that a lot.
Seki: We just do our work as normal.
Hoshi: Right? When we get off work, the staff members don’t go out of the way to tell us, “Ah, it’s great that you’ve worked hard today.”
Hirata: You want to be told that?
Hoshi: Well, yeah....
Hirata: To the ladies who are listening to this CD, please write he’s done his best in your letters to this guy. Otherwise, he’ll grow fat.
Hoshi: That’d be the outcome of my self-pampering rule. Right, so we’re done with the topic of personal rules.
Hirata: I wonder if our answers are useful to anyone.
Hoshi: We’ve gained extremely valuable insight from everyone here. All right, so the third volume of the Saiyuki Reload Blast Drama CD has come to an end. Does this also mean that we’ve come to the end of the series?
Hirata: Isn’t it a good thing?
Hoshi: Ah, I know–
Hirata: It’s about time. It’s been interesting, but it’s all over the place.
Hoshi: Yes, it’s rather all over the place.
Ishida: It sure is.
Hirata: Also, there’s this pattern in which the tracks end with Gojyo shouting. Isn’t it about time we got rid of it? **
Hoshi: You’re getting tired of it, aren’t you? We’ve done a lot of that.
Hirata: From the start, there’s the constant fights between Gojyo and the monkey.
Hoshi: Yeah, there’s those.
Hirata: Surely everyone’s had enough of that pattern.
Hoshi: Whenever we did a comic story, it always ended with Gojyo [getting the short end of the stick].
Hirata: Let’s make space for something new.
Hoshi: Make space for what?
Hirata: Even if we were to make a fourth volume.
Seki: Yes, we can try to create a new pattern.
Hirata: Yes, something refreshing. Don’t make Gojyo shout [at the end]. Also, don’t make him act out effeminate characters so much. How about it?
Hoshi: Got it. Well, let’s gradually discuss such a matter some other time–
Hirata: But, it’s fun.
Hoshi: It’s fun, isn’t it?
Hirata: Especially for me, who like the Urasai sections the most.
Seki: Which one is it?
Hoshi: That’s true. That’s why, the various [comic] CD Dramas are the type Hirata-san likes.
Hirata: Indeed, I enjoy doing those.
Hoshi: Well then, with everyone’s support for the CD Dramas and of course the main story as well, we look forward to seeing you again in the Saiyuki Reload Blast series. Everyone, thank you very much for listening to the end. See you again!
Seki and Hirata: Yes!
Hirata: See you again!
The other three: See you again!
Ishida: Goodbye.
