Wanda struggled as she lifted the explosion surrounding Rumlow up, her body shaking. She’d almost made it high enough when her focus slipped and she let go of the explosion, taking out the entirety of a floor of a building.
Natasha could hear screams around her but she scanned for Pietro, finding him staring at Wanda. He glanced at Nat, shock on his face.
“Get your sister to the plane. Now.”
OR due to the incident at lagos, the sokovia accords are created. natasha and clint don't know what path to take, which one will keep their family safe. everyone has different opinions and the time of the avengers may come to a close
but what happens when the signing of the accords is attacked and bucky is blamed? was it really steve's best friend, now the winter soldier? and why does there seem to be more than one supersoldier running around vienna?

“Don Jail Conditions Soon to Be Remedied, Declares Macaulay,” Toronto Globe. November 4, 1930. Page 13.   ---- Deplores Association of Youths and Innocent Persons With Hardened Criminals - Ross Report Bears Fruit ---- WOULD INVOLVE NEW BUILDING ---- Remedying of conditions at the Toronto Jail will be one of the first prob- lems to be attacked by the Provincial Government following the recent re- port of the Ross Commission on Public Institutions, declared Hon. Leopold Macaulay, the new Provincial Secretary in an address last night at a meeting of the Northeast Conservatives held in Eglinton Town Hall.
Mr. Macaulay read sections of the Ross report showing the lack of medical examination before admission to the jail, the lack of exercise or work for prisoners, the poor food served and finally the fact that persons committed for trial - many of them innocent - were treated the same and forced to mix with convicted criminals.
Ontario-Toronto Responsibility. "There is the first place where an attack has to be made in improving our institutions," he declared of the Toronto jail. He mentioned that youths of 16 years were forced to associate with hardened criminals under present conditions.
The dual control of the jail was referred to by the new Minister, Toronto and the Province being jointly responsible. Therefore, any action toward improvement would have to be on the part of both governments.
In an interview afterward with The Globe, he intimated that the Provincial Government was wholeheartedly behind a movement to improve present conditions at the Don Jail. This remedy, he said, would necessitate a new building where people awaiting trial could be held without treating them as convicted criminals, as is the case at present.
Reference to these conditions was approached on the part of the speaker by a discussion of what the Ontario Government had already done in the direction of welfare and educational work. He also advocated more use on the part of courts of the probationary powers with which they are entrusted.
New Ward Mooted. James Robertson, President of the Northeast Conservative Association, presided, and stated that a vigorous campaign was under way to have the northern parts of Wards 2 and 3 constituted as a separate word. to be known as Ward 9. Clifford Blackburn, President of the Central Conservative Association, stated that he favored making North Toronto a separate ward politically, so that that section could have representation on the executive of the Central Association.
The old officers were re-elected, with Mr. Robertson as President.

“This sucks.” Came the quiet annoyed grumble of your girlfriend, who had been sitting with her knees tucked up to her chest, her head resting atop them.
Ross was currently on the warpath and had demanded the entire team be pulled into a meeting to lectured on why it was important they keep their operations within the strict protocols set by one of the many accords the government had put into place.
“He’ll be done soon.” You murmured in response as you reached underneath the table to rest your hand on her thigh, “You know how he is when he gets in a mood.”
You both knew all too well how Ross could get but you couldn’t help but feel especially bad for your girlfriend considering that she wasn’t exactly feeling 100% at the moment. The pair of you had only just gotten back from a joint 3 day long mission up in the chilly forests of Siberia. Everything had gone great and smoothly… well except for that fact Natasha had insisted on giving you her thick coat after finding out you’d forgotten yours.
Her thin suit had done little to stave off the harsh chill biting in the air and you’d noticed her shivering throughout the night - even after the pair of you had shared long warm shower together. But when you’d pulled another blanket over her asked if she was okay, Natasha had assured you she was fine.
But now you really weren’t so sure. As Ross continued his lecture, Natasha's shivers grew more pronounced, her tired eyes blinking heavily as she held up her head with her hands. You slipped your hand beneath her hoodie and discreetly rubbed her back - something you knew she aways liked when she was in need of a little extra loving - but you couldn’t help but bite back a sigh as you felt the warmth radiating from her.
She let out a soft, suppressed yawn, and you couldn't help but smile sympathetically.
"You look like you need some rest," you whispered, your hand still on her back. "Maybe we can convince Ross that we need to file a mission report or something. Slip away for a bit. I think we should get some medicine into you, bring that temperature of your’s down a little.”
“I don’t have a temperature.” Natasha sniffled faintly but nevertheless she still nodded. Just as you were about to propose your excuse, her body tensed, and she let out a series of quick, half-stifled sneezes into her hands, “Oh, gross…” She cringed in disgust.
"Great timing sweetheart," You mumbled with a chuckle, handing her a tissue from your pocket. "Let's get out of here. I'll take care of you, come on.”
Clearing your throat you stood up to address Ross, “Sir, if you’ll excuse us, there’s a lot of paperwork that needs catching up on which otherwise will end up on your desk, so, may we?”
The secretary seemed more than displeased at your interruption however when he rolled his eyes and nodded towards the door when Natasha curled into herself with a raspy sounding cough a few moments later.
You nodded back, before turning your attention back to your girlfriend who looked like she wanted to hide in her hoodie and never return. “Come on Natty.” You whispered, offering out a hand when she stood up and had to dizzily grab the table to stable her balance.
Walking down the corridor, you felt Natasha slip her arm around your waist she leaned on you for support .”I thought you were 'just fine'?" You teased, making her blush a little as she buried her head into your side.
She looked up and shot you a half-hearted glare, her voice hoarse, "Don't push it."
You chuckled, guiding her through the corridors, "Well, I did warn you to keep your coat, but no, you had to be the chivalrous girlfriend.”
Natasha snorted weakly, but the action caused her to splutter into a sharp cough making her whine in response, “Rub it in later, will you? I just want to get under some warm covers right now.”
Finally when you reached her room, she gave you a grateful smile, "Thanks for saving me from Ross though. I needed that.”
"Anytime, Agent Romanoff," you replied, helping her onto the bed, pulling the thick duvet over her and she snuggled down into the sheet, “Now, let's get you comfortable. I'll find some meds and we’ll cuddle up for the rest of the day.”
She nodded, a small smile playing on her lips, "You're not too bad at this caring girlfriend sort of thing, y’know.”
You winked, "Years of practice. Now, rest up sweetheart and I'll be right back with that medicine."

Come with Me
Tumblr media
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x fem!reader
Summary: You are forced to work with Secretary Ross to track down Natasha after she violated the Sokovia Accords and disappeared.
Warnings: slight angst, light fluff, contains scenes from Black Widow movie/deleted scenes
Words: 4120
Natasha and Yelena sit across from each other at a table, nursing their drinks after they escaped from Budapest. They had just decided to work together to stop Dreykov and his Red Room.
Natasha smiles at Yelena as she nods towards the open garage with the car. “I saw where he put the keys.”
Without hesitation, Yelena replies, “Top drawer, green cabinet.”
The two tilt their bottles towards each other in cheers, the clinking sound echoing in the quiet night as they both take a sip.
Yelena sets her bottle down and begins to lightly spin it around on its edge before tilting her head in question.
“So, when are we going to lose your friend?”
Natasha startles at her question, choking slightly on her drink. Coughing, she recovers her composure before replying.
“What friend?”
Yelena raises her eyebrows and points at Natasha accusingly.
“Really? She’s been following us since we left the city. And you’ve been sneaking glances at her ever since we sat down.”
Natasha scoffs and takes another sip, not commenting further on the accusation.
Yelena squints at Natasha’s nonresponse and attempts a different approach.
“Or we can let her follow us as we take on Dreykov and the other Widows in the Red Room.”
Natasha frowns at that statement and taps her finger against her bottle in thought. On one hand, she is a little nervous to talk with you after what she did, but the alternative is you following her into a dangerous mission that you didn’t sign up for. She already knows which choice she prefers.
Taking a deep breath, she stands from the table and heads toward your direction. Yelena gives her a smug wave before relaxing back into her chair.
Your back was facing her, but Natasha knew you were keeping an eye on her. She pulls out the empty seat next to you and sits down, giving you a flirty smile, “Is this seat taken?”
You don’t respond to her question. Instead, you take a drink, making sure not to look in her direction.
At your silence, Natasha places her arm on the table and rests her head against her hand as she looks at you. Undeterred by your lack of response, she decides to try again.
“So, what brings someone as pretty as you around here?”
You let out a soft laugh in disbelief at her words, shaking your head, before turning to face her, deciding to play along. “Work trip. I’m looking for someone.”
“Oh?” Natasha places her hand gently on yours, leaning closer. “Who are you looking for? Maybe I can help.”
In response, you lean in too, bringing your face close to hers until you are looking right into her eyes.
“Yeah?” Your words whisper against her lips.
You were so close. Natasha could almost feel the gentle brush of your lips against hers, tempting her. She’s about to close the distance between the two of you instinctively like she’s done many times before. But just when her lips were about to touch yours, you move away.
Your smile falls from your face as you pull your hand from under hers and cross your arms. You glare at Natasha accusingly.
“Well, I’m looking for my girlfriend who decided to become a global fugitive overnight and suddenly disappear without any warning.” You give her a pointed look. “And a note that just says ‘I’m sorry’ is not enough.”
Natasha winces at your words and looks away guiltily. Back at her old table, she sees that Yelena is now eating from a small pile of snacks in front of her as she waits. Yelena catches her looking at her and raises a thumb up in encouragement as she continues eating, blissfully unaware of the escalating tension.
Natasha takes a peek back at you. You were still glaring at her, waiting for her response. She attempts to ease the tension in the air.
“You know, I also added a little heart at the end—.”
“Natasha,” you interrupted, giving her a deadpanned look.
Taking a deep breath, she tries to explain.
“Okay, I didn’t want to force you to come with me. It was my choice. I knew what I was doing and the consequences. You shouldn’t have to leave your life behind because of me.”
You huffed at her explanation, annoyed.
“Except you didn’t give me a choice. Instead, I had to track you all the way to Norway, only to find an empty safe house and a car wreck in the middle of a bridge.”
Natasha widens her eyes at you, impressed at how close you were to finding her. Though, it’s not that surprising since you were the best tracker in Shield. In fact, you were the one who found her location back when she was still an assassin of the Red Room before she was recruited to Shield.
“So you’re working with Ross to arrest me?” Natasha asked cautiously.
You scoff at the suggestion, shaking your head in disbelief.
“No, this wasn’t my choice either. We ended up crossing paths in Norway, and then he forced me to join his little search team.”
You let out a huff as you pouted dejectedly, “Stupid Accords.”
Letting out a breath of relief, Natasha smiles fondly at you, happy to hear that you didn’t choose to hunt her down.
You push her shoulder when you notice her smiling at you with the usual love and fondness in her eyes. That look never fails to make your heart flutter.
“Stop that, I’m still mad at you.”
Your reaction just causes Natasha to smile more. You roll your eyes at her, deciding to return your focus to your drink.
The familiar banter helps to lessen the tension as a peaceful silence washes over the two of you. You felt slightly better after hearing Natasha’s explanation, though you’re still unsure if you were going to forgive her so soon. You are both agents, so you understood what Natasha meant, the pressure and dangers that come with this kind of life.
Still, you remember the pain you felt when you found her things missing from your room, and more importantly, it hurt that she didn’t believe that you would follow her if only she had asked.
You decided to change the subject, breaking the silence with a question.
“So, who is she?” you nod towards the stranger at Natasha’s old table.
The blonde girl notices you looking in her direction and gives you a sarcastic wave.
“That’s Yelena. She’s…my little sister.”
You snap your head back to Natasha in surprise, checking to see if she was serious. Her face showed no signs of teasing, just a tired look.
You take the chance to examine her closely. Right away, you can see the exhaustion in her body. She must have had a rough time these past couple of weeks on the run.
You decide to ask her cautiously, “Does she need any help?”
Natasha looks away, catching your underlying question.
“It’s complicated.”
You close your eyes and let out a deep breath, disappointed at her response. The familiar hurt that you felt when she disappeared resurfaces in your chest.
“In other words, you don’t want me involved in this either.”
“That’s not wha—“
You stand up, interrupting her and turning to leave.
“You two should probably go. Ross and his team will be here by the morning.”
“Wait!” Natasha grabs your arm, stopping you, as she stands up too. You don’t resist, but you don’t turn around either.
She pulls you back towards her, hugging you tightly from behind. Her voice whispers sadly against your ear.
“I made a mistake by disappearing on you suddenly like that. And I really am sorry, but this is different.”
Natasha pushes gently against your shoulder, silently asking you to turn around.
You do and you see an earnest expression on her face, pleading you to believe her.
She holds your hands in between your bodies, keeping you close. Seeing that you were listening, Natasha continues, “It’s not that I don’t want you with me. This is just something that I need to finish, both for Yelena and for myself.”
As you examine her face, you notice the same determination and fierce spirit in her eyes that made you fall for her in the first place. Even though you don’t like the thought of her doing whatever this is without you, you can see how much it means to her.
Letting out a resigned sigh, you give her a small bittersweet smile in understanding.
“So, a personal mission with your other family?”
Natasha let out a small chuckle at your attempt at teasing.
“Something like that,” she pauses in thought, your words giving her an idea. “Actually, you can help me with one thing. Do you think you can find someone? His name is Alexei Shostakov.”
Natasha grimaces before explaining, “He is sort of like my dad.”
You raise your eyebrow at the information before nodding.
“I’ll see what I can find.”
As you attempt to turn away once more, Natasha gently tugs your hands, bringing you closer to her. She leans her forehead against yours.
“About me leaving before…,” she whispered shakily. “You understand that it just wouldn’t be fair to tell you to risk your life and come with me.”
Sighing sadly, you gently remove your hands from hers and place them against her chest, pushing her away slightly.
“That’s the problem.” You give her a sad smile. “You never asked if I would.”
When you see the pained expression on her face, you caress her cheek softly in comfort before placing a small kiss on the corner of her lips.
Pulling away, you sigh resolutely, “Right now, you have your mission and I have mine. Let’s just focus on what we need to get done first.”
A small cough from the side pulls both of your attention. Yelena waves a set of keys in her hand, giving you a short nod in greeting.
“Time’s up. We have to go, Natasha.”
You give her a brief nod back, dropping your hands from Natasha and stepping away completely. You gesture to Yelena’s clothes.
“I like your vest,” you say sincerely.
Yelena beams at your comment.
You look back at Natasha and give her a small smile, “Bye, Natasha.”
Natasha watches sadly as you leave until you disappear from her sight.
Next to her, Yelena nods approvingly in your direction, “I like her.”
Sighing tiredly, Natasha grabs the keys from Yelena, prompting her to yell out in surprise as she trails after her.
“Wha—Hey, I’m the one who got that.”
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
There was a comfortable silence between the sisters as Natasha focused on driving. That is until Yelena couldn’t contain her curiosity anymore.
“So, that girl…” Yelena trails off, glancing at Natasha cautiously, trying to gauge her reaction to the new topic.
Natasha hummed in response, indicating for her to continue.
“She seems cool."
“She is.”
“How long have you known her?”
“A long time.”
Yelena's mouth twists in annoyance at Natasha’s bland responses, giving her no additional information.
At the sudden silence, Natasha glances at Yelena and finds her staring pointedly out the car window, lips pursed in a pout and arms crossed.
“What?” She questioned, confused at the sudden silent treatment.
“Nothing.”
“Yelena…”
Yelena throws her hands up in annoyance at Natasha’s pestering.
“We haven’t seen each other in years. Now, it just feels like you are trying to shut me out again.”
Natasha was taken aback by the sudden accusation, unaware that she was causing her such distress. Feeling bad, she nudges Yelena in her arms to get her attention.
“Okay then, what do you want to know?”
Yelena squints at her suspiciously.
Natasha sighs at her behavior, before reassuring her. “I’m serious.”
At her words, Yelena turns her body to face Natasha excitedly.
“How did you two meet?”
The question instantly causes Natasha to chuckle at the memory. Yelena raises an eyebrow at her expectantly.
“She was on the mission with Clint to eliminate me in Budapest,” Natasha says. “The first time we met…she shot me.”
“Really?” Yelena's eyes widened in shock.
Natasha nods.
“I found out later that she was the one who was able to track me down.”
Yelena snorts in laughter.
“Not like it’s hard.”
Natasha narrows her eyes, slightly offended.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
Yelena raises her eyebrows in challenge.
“The tracker she placed on the car?”
Natasha rolls her eyes.
“Threw it away before we even started driving.”
“And what about the one she sneaked into your jacket when she kissed you?”
Natasha pauses at the information before reaching into her jacket pocket. Sure enough, her fingers brush against a small circular device. She lets out a small curse under her breath before throwing the tracker out of the window.
“That’s it. No more questions.”
“Wha-no fair!”
Eventually, they reach the designated clearing to see an old helicopter positioned at the center of the field.
“I said we needed a jet,” Natasha calls out to the person in the aircraft.
Rick steps out of the helicopter at her greeting.
“Yeah, you know what you didn’t give me. Time. Or money. I’m not made of jets.”
“I thought you were supposed to be the best,” Yelena says, kicking at the base of the helicopter.
Rick gives Yelena an offended look, shocked speechless.
“How dare you challenge my professionalism!”
“Aww, he’s sensitive. I see why you keep him around,” Yelena teases.
“Where’s the rest?” Natasha interrupts before Rick can quip back.
Huffing, Rick grabs a bag from the plane and opens it with a small flourish.
“Voila,” he says half-heartedly as Yelena goes to dig through the supplies.
Stepping away, he turns towards Natasha, pulling out a folded piece of paper.
“And for you.” Rick holds it out for her to take.
“What is it?” Natasha questions, grabbing the paper.
“A message from your favorite person.” Rick grabs another bag from the helicopter and places it on the ground near her with a huff. “Well, second favorite, I’m first of course.”
Natasha rolls her eyes as she steps away. She opens the note to see the familiar strokes of your handwriting.
Seventh Circle Prison Stay safe ❤️
Natasha’s heart warmed at the last line. You are always caring even when you are supposed to be upset with her. It is one of the many things that she loves about you.
Yelena appears behind her, peeking over her shoulder at the note. She pretends to gag at words.
“That’s so cheesy. I’m gonna throw up.”
Laughing, Natasha pushes her head away from her shoulder, folding your note and tucking it safely into her chest pocket. Natasha gathers her gear and supplies and hops into the helicopter.
“Come on, let’s go.”
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
They did it. They finally destroyed the Red Room. An aircraft lands near Natasha and Yelena, showing the recently freed Widows waiting for the two of them.
Natasha places the antidote serum into Yelena’s hand.
“He had widows implanted all over the world. You should be the one to tell them that it’s over.”
In response, Yelena takes off her vest before extending it to Natasha, shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.
“Here, since you like it so much.”
Natasha takes the vest with a small laugh and puts it on. When she looks up again, Yelena is giving her a pleading look.
“Are you sure you don’t want to come with us?”
Natasha nods reassuringly, “You guys go. I need to take care of some things.”
At the sound of sirens echoing in the distance, indicating the incoming company, Yelena hops on the plane before turning around to give Natasha a pointed look.
“You don’t have to do it alone. We may not be able to come with you, but I know someone who is willing to.”
Natasha just gives her a small smile as she closes the door of the plane. She watches Yelena and the others fly away just as the sounds of sirens grow closer.
Not long after, a dozen armored trucks pull up around her, and she is quickly surrounded by Ross and his team, all with weapons pointed her way.
When Natasha raises both her hands in surrender, she hears a familiar voice call out in the distance.
“Really, Ross, is all this necessary? She’s not even holding a weapon!”
Natasha smiles amusedly as she watches you shove your way past Ross and march in front of his team’s line of fire toward her. When you finally reach her, your arms wrap around her, pulling her into a tight hug. Natasha’s body groans at the impact, but she still brings her arms around you, welcoming your embrace.
You hold her tight, tucking your head against her neck. She smelled like smoke and fire, reminding you of what you had just witnessed moments before. You pull yourself back abruptly, though her hands are still resting on your waist, keeping you close. You slap her shoulder in anger.
“What part of falling out of the sky without a parachute is staying safe!”
Natasha smirks at your words before defending herself.
“In my defense, I did have a parachute when I jumped.”
You huffed in annoyance before resting your head on her shoulder. You whispered against her neck, “Did you finish?”
Natasha looks at the debris of the Red Room around her before placing a gentle kiss on your head.
“Yeah, I did.”
“Hands up, Romanoff!” Ross’ voice calls out from a distance behind you.
You let out an exhausted groan against her causing Natasha to laugh lightly at you.
“Looks like you still need to finish yours,” she whispers against your ear before giving you one last hug.
Reluctantly, you pull away from her as she returns to her previous position with her hands raised. Stepping back, you notice the new piece of clothing on her. Patting at one of the pockets on the vest, you smirked at her.
“Nice vest.”
“Step away, Agent Y/n!” Ross calls out again.
Rolling your eyes, you finally back yourself away as soldiers take your place to cuff Natasha’s hands. Within minutes, her hands are restrained in front of her body, and she is escorted away.
You watch with your arms crossed as Natasha is ushered into the back of an armored van. She leans her body back against the inside of the car, relaxed and unbothered by her current situation.
The soldiers move to close the door, and at the last moment, Natasha turns her head to look at you before giving you a teasing wink right as the door closes.
You let out an amused huff at her, shaking your head.
“What are you so happy about?” Ross stops next to you.
You give him a professional smile.
“Nothing, just glad the mission’s over.”
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
“The Red Room, under our radar for all these years.” Ross looks at Natasha from the front of the van through the rearview mirror. “And you took them down. All on your own.”
Natasha’s face and body are relaxed and calm as Ross confronts her about the wreckage.
She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, “Had some help.”
“Who? Agent Y/n?” Ross questioned her.
Natasha gives him her usual smirk, “I was just being humble. It was all me.”
“You know, it’s strange. Agent Y/n can locate the others quickly enough, but when it’s you, she can’t seem to find a trace.” Ross points out accusingly.
Natasha subtly brings her hands to the pocket of the vest that you had touched earlier, stealthily pulling out the small lock pick that you had slipped inside. Keeping her hands low, she responds as she begins to pick the cuffs.
“Maybe you’re overworking her. You should try giving her a vacation.”
Ross scoffs in disbelief, focusing on the road in front.
“Caring about someone who arrested you. At least now we can focus our resources and efforts on finding Captain America. Unless you already know where he is?”
Ross looks up at the mirror when he hears no response. The bench where Natasha was sitting is empty. Shocked, he turned his head behind to see the back doors of the van open, swinging wildly with the movement of the car, and no Black Widow in sight.
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
Two weeks later, Natasha is meeting with Rick for her new mode of transportation.
“So what’d you get me this time, an upside-down lawnmower?” Natasha teases as she follows him into a field.
Rick looks back at Natasha smugly as he points into the distance.
Natasha stops in shock at the sight, looking between him and the quinjet in disbelief.
“Go on, say it. I wanna hear it. It would be really good for me to hear it.”
Natasha nods at him. “I’m impressed.”
Rick nods in acknowledgment.
“Well, of course. Though I did get some extra help with this one.”
Natasha tilts her head at him in question. The sound of the quinjet’s ramp opening causes her to look back. She sees your familiar figure stroll down the ramp.
“Good luck, mate.”
She feels a pat on her back, pushing her forward, as Rick walks away.
Natasha meets you at the bottom of the ramp.
“New look?” You reach up and twirl a strand of her new blond hair in your hand. Tilting your head, you give her a soft smile. “I like it.”
Natasha gives you a teasing smirk, “Here to arrest me already?”
Rolling your eyes at her teasing, you slide your hand down her arm and intertwine her hand with yours, pulling her up the ramp into the quinjet.
“You know, you had Ross going mad with your escape. Luckily for you and me, he’s currently preoccupied with the wreckage of the Red Room to send out another manhunt for you.”
“That’s some good news at least,” Natasha says in relief.
You bring her to the control panel. Dropping her hand, you grab a tablet and punch in some codes before turning it to her.
Natasha examines the screen which shows a bunch of different coordinates and a blinking marker. She zooms in on the map curiously.
“What’s this?”
“I found Steve’s current safe house location. You should probably pick him up first before you head to the Raft for the others.”
Natasha’s head shoots up to look at you, surprised.
You smile at her expression knowingly.
“You have a kind heart, Natasha. You are always going to save and protect your family. Both of your family.” You wrap your arms around her in a tight hug, tucking her head against her neck.
“Just promise me you’ll be safe.”
Natasha presses a kiss on your head in promise. “I will.”
You pull yourself back from her embrace, though she still has her arms around you. She searches your eyes nervously.
“Are you leaving?”
You give her a hopeful smile.
“That depends on you.”
Natasha opens her mouth, but no words come out. A silence falls between the two of you.
Feeling disappointed, you press a soft kiss on her cheek before moving away from her arms. You begin to head towards the exit. Right before you leave, you turn your head over your shoulder to look at her one last time. “Good luck, Natasha.”
Natasha watches sadly as you go, but then Yelena’s words run through her head, encouraging her. Determined, she chases after you and catches your arm, turning you back around to her.
“Nat–?”
She interrupts you before she loses her nerves.
“This mission is dangerous. I have no idea what’s going to happen. Even if we do succeed, we will be constantly on the run. You won’t be able to go back to the life you had before.”
She stresses the severity of the situation, trying to make you understand what you would be risking.
Unfazed by her words, you just raise your eyebrows and smile at her expectantly.
Shaking her head in disbelief, Natasha can’t stop the small smile that appears on her face at your calm expression.
“Knowing all that,” Natasha pauses as she searches your eyes before releasing a nervous breath, “would you still want to come with me?”
Smiling brightly, you grab her vest, pulling her in close. Your lips brush over hers lightly.
“That took you long enough to ask.” You close the small distance, bringing her in for a deep kiss. Her arms wrap around your waist, pulling you in closer.
Natasha was the one who pulled away first, giving you a smirk, “That wasn’t an answer.”
Wrapping your arms around her neck, you give her a determined but loving gaze, making sure she sees how serious you are.

Civil War Wanda Maximoff x GN! Reader
Warnings : Smut. Reader has a penis. Breeding.
Requested by @ginnsbaker
18+ MINORS DNI
"Forever."
"And always."
After the battle at the airport, Vision tried to help get Wanda free from the Raft. Tony could see that the synthezoid was evolving, he was feeling more human with each passing moment. What Tony had never expected was the news he recieved when he arrived at the Raft.
"Wanda Maximoff was broken free last night." Secretary Ross informed him. "You wouldn't have anything to do with it now?"
"No." Tony told him firmly. "As much as I feel horrible with her being here, I wouldn't go back on the Accords."
"The power went down. The cameras were hacked." Secretary Ross stated. "The only person that came to mind with that was you."
"I can assure you. It wasn't me." Tony stated. "You can search the compound and every one of my safe houses but I assure you it wasn't me."
Wanda soon woke up in a dimly lit room, her eyes darting around the room. She wasn't in the restraints she was put in when she was in the Raft. She was just in her suit.
"You know, when I heard your name on the news after the incident. I just couldn't believe you were still alive." She watched as a figure emerged from the doorway.
"Who are you?" She asked, her accent thick.
"I'm hurt that you don't recognise my voice." They spoke, feigning hurt. "After all, you were the one who said always."
"You were dead." Wanda whispered as Y/N chuckled.
"That is what Strucker told you." Y/N stated as they took a seat on the bed beside her. "I was transferred. After they realised our bond. Our relationship, they used it as leverage for their own gain." Wanda remained silent as they spoke. "They told me that you had lost the baby."
"What baby?" Wanda questioned. She remembered their nights spent together, but she was never pregnant.
"They were the ones who told me you were pregnant, and when you miscarried. They told me that you never wanted to see me again." They told her.
"Y/N, you were the only one I ever cared about. Why would I hate you?" Wanda questioned as Y/N shrugged.
"I wanted to have a family with you Wanda." They whispered, they had flicked on the light. Wanda gasped as she saw the once warm blue eyes she fell in love with. "I always did, since we were little."
"Y/N, we're completely different people now." She whispered as they took her hand in theirs. Playing with the many rings on her fingers.
"You will always be the same Wanda to me." They whispered as she shook her head.
"Y/N, we don't know each other anymore." Wanda tried as Y/N shook their head and cupped her cheek.
"You are just a little different." They whispered as their thumb brushed against her bottom lip. "But I bet I remember all of the things that make you squirm." Wanda sighed when they pressed their lips against her own, almost getting lost in the feeling.
"I can't." Wanda whispered as she pulled away.
"You can Wanda." They told her as she shook her head.
"I have Vision." She told them as they smiled at her.
"I understand your powers may be different but it will be ok. This is meant to be. We are meant to be." They told her as they brushed her hair from her face.
"No. Vision has nothing to do with my powers." Wanda whispered as her heart pounded in her chest as Y/N untied her corset. "He is my uh, well I'm not quite sure what we are."
"You're mine Wanda." Y/N told her sternly. "You belong to me, and me alone." Wanda sighed when she felt their lips on her skin as they removed her top. Their hands softly grazing her skin. Remembering the way her skin reacted to their touch.
Wanda moaned as they wrapped their lips around her nipple. Wanda's hand went to the back of their head. Keeping them in place as they continued to suck on the hardened bud.
"Fuck." Wanda moaned lewdly when Y/N's fingers made their way beneath her pants and underwear. Thrusting slowly into her soaked core.
"We have to find her Mr Stark." Vision urged as Tony sighed.
"I have been looking for days Vision." He told him. "I haven't found a single trace of Wanda or the person who broke her out."
"What about Steve?" He questioned as Tony sighed.
"He only got there a couple of days ago. I already questioned him in Siberia." Tony informed him. "He knows nothing of Wanda's whereabouts."
"I don't know what this is that I am feeling Mr Stark but my calculations tell me it's love." Vision told him. "I can feel more with each day that passes."
"I understand that Vision." Tony sighed. "I am looking everywhere."
Y/N was thrusting inside her at a steady pace, the two sharing a kiss before Y/N looked in Wanda's eyes.
"I can't wait to breed you Wanda." They husked out. "Have the family we always talked about."
"Please." Wanda begged as she scratched down their back. "I need it. I need you. All of you."
Y/N grunted as they went faster and harder. Wanda reaching her third orgasm as Y/N reached their own releasing inside of her before they brushed the hair from her face. Watching as she caught her breath.
"I love you Wanda. Forever." They whispered.
"I love you Y/N. Always." She leaned up and kissed their lips lovingly. All of their feelings coming back in full force. The two old flames back together. Burning brighter together than they were when they were apart.

Finding Home
Summary: This is a series imagining what it was life for Natasha after joining S.H.I.E.L.D. - First few chapters feature a platonic relationship but maybe it will develop. Who knows! Let's enjoy the ride :)
Warnings: Mentions of trauma, past violence.
Part 1
“You can’t be serious”
“I am always serious, Barton”
Clint pinched the bridge of his nose. He didn’t know what else to do, how to make this situation any better. Take down an enemy, that’s easy. You just shoot an arrow.
This required more than an arrow.
“She helped us kill Dreykov. What more proof do you want, Fury?”
“I want training. And regular sessions with a S.H.I.E.L.D. shrink. And constant surveillance”
“So I’m a babysitter now?” Clint looked out the window.
“You made a decision, Barton, and now it’s time to stick by it” Fury said in a tone that made it clear the conversation was over.
“Yeah, but I was expecting a little more help from your side” the man grumbled. They both stared out the window.
“I already did. Secretary Ross wanted to prosecute you”
Clint left Fury’s office, aware that Natasha was following him. He was used to it by now. Without speaking to her, he walked to one of the tables in the cafeteria, resting his head on his hands.
The redhead stood by the wall, looking around as if she was ready to escape.
Maybe she would, and then he’d be so screwed not even Fury could help him.
“What’s wrong?” he heard a voice say. Clint lifted his head and saw you, smiling at him.
“I have a headache”
“And a shadow” you nodded to Natasha. As one of Fury’s apprentices, you’d heard about her already. The young woman before you was stunning in a way that was hard to ignore.
Her green eyes examined you as you leaned forward, offering your hand to introduce yourself. She kept staring and Clint chuckled.
“Scary” you said, not taking offense in her guarded demeanor. “So, what now?”
“I don’t know. I need to clear my head” the man stood up. “Wanna come to the gym with us?”
“After you”
Natasha was beautiful, yes. But now you understood the Black Widow monicker completely.
In a matter of minutes, she left Clint completely defeated.
Good thing she was on your side, right?
“Agent Y/L/N” Fury walked up to you as you left the gym, still thinking about Natasha’s incredible technique.
“Sir?”
“What do you make of Romanoff?”
“Well… she’s... I don’t think I have the words. She doesn’t need training, that’s for sure. In fact, she should be training our people”
“I need to know if I can trust her first. The way I trust you, and Barton, and Hills”
You crossed your arms, because Fury already knew what the plan was gonna be. And all you could do was listen and accept it.
“The secret Penthouse. I already told Maria to give you access and everything you need. Natasha stays there with you. Earn her trust”
“I can’t lie to her, Fury, and neither can you. A golden prison is still a prison” he rolled his eyes and you tried to hide your smile. It was always fun to annoy Fury with your morals.
“This is what I imagine it would be like to work with Captain America. And it ain’t fun, Y/L/N”
“I’m not saying I won’t help”
“But you’ll do it your way. Fine. No one listens to me anymore”
“Maybe you’re going soft”
Fury requested daily reports, which was to be expected. Except you only saw Natasha once and she barely spoke to you.
You cooked all three meals, trying to guess what she’d liked, knocked on her door to let her know it was time to eat, and then she’d wait for you to finish to come out.
Same with training. She hit the gym at break of dawn. You only saw her whenever you drove her to Doctor Taylor’s office, who was assigned to her case and then later, before dinner when she’d answer your questions about her work as a Black Widow and gave you all the information she could remember about Dreykov’s operations.
A week after moving to the penthouse, Fury and Maria showed up.
“We’re just checking”
“I sent you everything she’s told me. She’s being cooperative”
“That’s not enough” Fury said. Natasha came out of her room in that moment and you looked over your shoulder. “Let’s see what you’re made of”
“I already told you she doesn’t need training”
“Of course. I meant you, Agent” he pointed at you. “You said Romanoff should be training us. I know she can kick Barton’s ass. What about yours?”
Natasha did. You were thrown around in ten different ways, always discovering a new weak spot that you’d never thought about before.
S.H.I.E.L.D.'s young promise, panting and sweating on the gym’s floor. Begging for your life.
The last time Natasha knocked you down, you stayed there. You couldn’t take another round.
“Train together. Every day” Fury requested and you nodded.
To your surprise, Natasha offered her hand to help you up.
You smiled and took it. Fury was gone before you could say anything to him.
“Make sure you ice that punch” Maria pointed at your split lip and you sighed.
“Thanks, Hill”
As the warm water of the shower soothed your muscles, you kept going back to Natasha’s flawless movements. Of course you had read her file. The Red Room training included all kinds of physical demands and oddly enough, ballet.
To reach that level of perfection and control, Natasha must have worked out endlessly, without rest, without room for error.
Without a life. Or a childhood.
Knowing you’d be sore the next day, you took painkillers and went to the kitchen to start with dinner.
To your surprise, Natasha was already there.
“I’m sorry” she said as soon as your eyes locked. Before you could ask, the redhead clarified. “I didn’t mean to hurt you”
“Oh. It’s not your fault that I’m out of shape”
“You’re not… I’m just…”
“Better” you said, laughing. There was the glimpse of a smile on her lips.
“I can help with dinner if you want to. That pasta you made the other day was good. You’ll just have to tell me how to prepare some stuff”
“Sure. We’ll make it together” you offered, standing behind the kitchen counter. “Just don’t tell my mom I gave you the secret ingredients for the sauce. I’m supposed to share it only with the girl I marry”
When you were met with silence, you thought your attempt at a joke had gone unnoticed. Instead, you found Natasha looking at the knife you were offering so she could chop the tomatoes.
“Are you sure you want to give me a weapon?”
“What? You’re gonna chop these with your ninja moves? Come on, Nat. If you wanted me dead, you could do it with a pencil. That much is clear”
“Ok” Natasha nodded, taking it and following your instructions. You cooked in silence, until she spoke again. “No one’s ever called me Nat before”
“Sorry. Is that ok?”
“I think so”
“Alright” you nodded, smiling at her.
For a week, Natasha put her entire focus on your training and a new, pleasant routine developed.
Training, prepping meals, doctor Taylor, more training, dinner. Small talk here and there. Natasha never asked you personal questions, but you volunteered information about your family.
Clint stopped by and you could tell that Natasha trusted him more than anyone, including you. It was only logical, considering he was the one who put his ass on the line for her.
Maybe things would move along if he was the one here, instead of you. But Fury trusted you with this, and you had to follow his lead.
He always had a reason for eveything.
The autumn rain hit the penthouse windows. Natasha looked out, her head resting against her knees.
“Here” you offered a cup of hot cocoa. It was a lazy day, and you’d rather spend it making cookies than getting your ass kicked.
Sitting next to Natasha, she looked over at you as you took a sip of your own cup.
“What?” you asked when she smiled.
“You have whipped cream on your nose”
“Oh, you think that’s funny? Here” you leaned forward, getting some cream on her cheek.
“сука” she said playfully.
“I love it, let’s learn Russian curse words instead. That will please Fury”
“So, we don’t have to train today?” Natasha asked in a small voice. It almost sounded like… a child, asking if she could skip school.
“No, never if you don’t feel like it. Ok?”
“Ok” she nodded, looking out the window.
But your eyes, they remained on her. Hoping, wishing, you could help Natasha build a life worth living. Part 2

Let's Talk About That Chapter 8
Psychiatrist!Avenger!fem!Reader x Wanda Maximoff
Summary: The team discusses what to do about Thanos
Word Count: 3.1K
Warning: Mostly angst, but some fluff too!
A/N: Writing through Infinity War has been a hell of a journey and I still have more to do!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Hello secretary." Steve said to the hologram of secretary Ross as we entered the compound. You held Natasha’s hand with Wanda and Vision behind you.
"You have some nerve coming here." Secretary Ross spoke.
"Looks like you could use some of that right about now." Natasha stated bluntly.
"The world's on fire and you think all's forgiven?" Ross asks Steve.
"I'm not looking for forgiveness and I'm way past asking for permission. Earth just lost her best defender so we're here to fight and if you want to stand in our way then we can fight you too." Steve stated to Ross who turned his attention to Rhodey.
"Aresst them." Ross said.
"Will do." Rhodey pushed the holograms effectively ending the virtual call.
"That sounded like a court marshal." Rhodey stated flatly before smiling. "It's good to see you Cap." Holding out his hand which Cap shook. Then Natasha let go of your hand giving Rhodey a hug.
"Well you guys all look like crap." Rhodey jokes and you let out a chuckle.
"You should have seen the other guys. I got there and they ran with their tails between their legs." You told him a big smile on your face.
"Went all power stone on then didn't you?" You nodded, earning a hair ruffle from Rhodey.
"Of course they were hurting people I care about." You looked back at Wanda and Vision with a smile. "No one gets away with hurting the people I care about."
"I think you guys look great." You hear as you turn your head to the familiar voice of Bruce. Natasha doesn't move, but you do, running up to hug him.
"Missed you big guy. Both of you." You say as he picks you up.
"Missed you little lady."
"Hi Bruce." Natasha speaks and you let go looking back at her. The faintest smile in the corners of her lips.
"Nat." He does a nod of his head.
You run back over to Tasha. "Go." You whisper through your teeth. She shakes her head ever so slightly. "If I did it you can do it. Go." You move behind her and push her. Making her stumble forward, Bruce catching her as you move back next to Wanda and sigh. "Young love...or old...I'm not quite sure anymore with those two." You state to the now red head, last you had seen her Wanda still had brunette hair.
As you glanced back at Natasha and Bruce, a sense of hope flickered within you, a reminder that even amidst chaos and uncertainty, love and connection could endure, serving as a beacon of light in the darkness.
When Vision is taken by Bruce to be examined and Nat talks with Steve, Rhodey, and Sam, Wanda pulls you away into the compound. You trail behind her, relishing in the way her hand feels in yours. You had missed how it felt; almost forgot how it felt actually.
You don't realize it until she opens the door that she's taken you to your office. She looked back at you and gave a small smile as she sat on the couch like she always used to. You walk to your desk, seeing everything as you had left it. Your notebook for Wanda sitting there. You smile, picking it up along with the red pen you always used for her notes, testing the pen to make sure it still works.
You move back over sitting across from her, clicking your pen as you look at her over your glasses.
"Are you happier with her?" Wanda asks, making your throat dry up instantly. It felt hard to swallow, hard to breath.
"Don't make me answer that." You manage to say.
"Why? 'Cause it's true?"
"You know it's not. I love Natasha. Truly I do, but I'm not happier with her. The only thing that makes me happier is knowing she's made me a better person for you if you can ever give me a second chance and if not. I'll settle for her." You tell her flat out, putting your feelings out there. "My heart has always been yours."
"Does she know that?"
"Of course she does. She's not stupid." You respond with a slight bite to your words as you write in your note book.
Feeling a need to lay bare the depth of your feelings, you flipped through the pages of the notebook, searching for a particular entry. As you found the right page, you turned the notebook toward Wanda, revealing a love note you had penned after she returned from Lagos, a moment etched in my memory where she broke down, finding solace in your arms.
The emotions spilled across the page, a raw expression of love, hurt, and comfort. You saw the reflection of those sentiments in Wanda's eyes as tears glistened, capturing the spectrum of her feelings in a poignant dance of colors. The room held a heavy silence, interrupted only by the quiet sobs that reverberated between the two of you, bridging the gap between past and present.
"You took my hurt away...?" Wanda's voice was soft, laced with disbelief and a hint of wonder. You nodded solemnly, feeling the weight of your actions settle heavily on your shoulders.
"I know I said I'd never do it without your permission, but I had to take some of it. I could see it overtaking you. It was bitter and tasted like bile," You explained, a shiver coursing through you at the memory. "You know I don't like eating emotions, especially negative ones."
Wanda nodded in understanding before rising from her seat, crossing the space between you until your knees touched. Her touch was gentle as she cupped your cheek, coaxing you to meet her gaze. You hesitated, but her commanding tone compelled you to look into her deep green eyes, the same eyes you had always found solace in.
"Hey. Look at me," she urged softly, her voice carrying a mixture of warmth and familiarity. You met her gaze, feeling a sense of calm wash over you as your eyes locked.
"I missed the fuck out of you. I was upset with you about that jealous outburst, but you were just a kid still, and I forgot that along the way because you're you and so smart and mature," she confessed, her words washing over you like a soothing balm. You leaned into her touch, finally allowing yourself to relax in her presence.
"I'm sorry for what happened to us two years ago, Y/N," Wanda apologized, her voice laced with genuine remorse. You smiled softly and pressed a kiss to her hand in response.
"I'm sorry too, Wanda. If it hadn't been for those stupid accords..."
"We don't know what could have or would have happened, Y/N, and we shouldn't dwell on that. All we can do is move forward and see where that takes us," she reassured you, her words resonating deeply within you.
You nodded in agreement, pulling her into a tight hug, reveling in the familiar warmth of her embrace. As you buried your face in her neck, you breathed in her intoxicating scent of vanilla, feeling a sense of peace wash over you. Opening your eyes, you saw the telltale red aura surrounding her, a manifestation of love and passion that stirred something deep within you. With a smile, you allowed yourself to fully embrace the moment, knowing that your journey forward held endless possibilities.
"Vision and I have a connection through the mind stone, and I do love him just like how I know you love Nat. What you and I had, I will always hold close, but I can't just leave Vision," Wanda's words cut through you like a knife, each syllable piercing deeper into your heart.
You struggled to find a response, your mind reeling with a mix of emotions—heartache, disappointment, and a lingering sense of resignation. Before you could gather your thoughts to form a coherent reply, Tasha's voice interrupted the heavy silence, drawing your attention to the doorway where she stood.
"Figured I'd find you two here. Time for a meeting on what we're going to be doing," Tasha announced, her presence offering a temporary respite from the weight of the conversation.
You stood up at Tasha's words, leaving Wanda behind in the office. Tasha pulled you close, her kiss on your cheek a fleeting reassurance amidst the turmoil brewing inside you. Her whispered question echoed in your ear, and you offered only a small shrug in response as she wrapped an arm around your shoulders.
"We'll talk later, okay?" You assured Tasha, and she simply nodded in understanding as Wanda joined you, her presence feeling like a heavy weight on your shoulders. You didn't pay much attention to her, but you noticed Tasha's subtle glance back at Wanda, a silent warning simmering beneath the surface of her gaze. If looks could kill, Wanda would be dead from whatever Tasha had conveyed in that single glance.
"So we gotta assume they're coming back, right?" Bruce asks, his tone laced with concern as he scans the room for answers.
"And they can clearly find us," Wanda reminds the group, her voice tinged with a sense of urgency.
"We need all hands on deck. Where's Clint?" Bruce inquires, his gaze sweeping the room for any sign of the absent Avenger.
"After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal. It was too tough on their families. They're on house arrest," Nat explains to Bruce, filling him in on the latest developments.
"Who's Scott?" Bruce's confusion is palpable as he seeks clarification.
"Ant-Man," Cap offers, providing the missing link.
"There's an Ant-Man and a Spider-Man?" Bruce's incredulity is evident as he processes the information.
"Look, Thanos has the biggest army in the universe... and he is not gonna stop until he gets..." Bruce's voice trails off, his gaze shifting between Vision and you, hesitating to voice his next words. "Till he gets those stones," he finally concludes, pointing at the two of you.
You feel a surge of anxiety grip you as Bruce's words sink in. Tasha, sensing your unease, moves closer to Bruce, her protective instincts kicking in.
"Well then, we have to protect them," Tasha declares firmly, her eyes darting between Bruce and you, a silent vow of defense.
"No, we have to destroy them," Vision interjects, his tone resolute and unwavering.
You can't help but chuckle at Vision's suggestion, though the humor quickly fades as the gravity of his words settles over you.
"Ha! No. Hell fucking no. I don't plan on dying, or did you forget I said that? I will die without the stone," You retort, your defiance clear to everyone in the room, especially Vision.
"I've given this a great deal of thought, Y/N. I do not say it lightly, but if he does get his hands on these stones... especially yours, he'll be unstoppable," Vision insists, meeting your gaze with a solemn intensity that sends a shiver down your spine.
You struggle to catch my breath, the weight of Vision's words bearing down on you like a suffocating blanket. Your hand instinctively reaches for your chest, as if seeking reassurance from the stone that rests within you.
"I've thought about the nature of my stone, along with yours and some of the last words you said while we were allies. Knowing what your stone is capable of. We must destroy them and I think if they were exposed to a sufficiently powerful energy source," Vision explains, his voice tinged with determination as he approaches Wanda.
You rise from your spot, brushing off Tasha's attempt to stop you, and step closer, feeling Wanda's eyes flicker to you before returning to Vision, who gently places his hands on her arms. "Something very similar to their own signature perhaps," he continues, his touch reminiscent of the way you used to hold her, though his hands are much larger than your own. "Its molecular integrity could fail."
"Yeah, and both of you with it," Wanda responds, her gaze shifting between Vision and you. "We aren't having this discussion. It's too high a price to lose both of you," she declares firmly, trying to contain her frustration.
Vision's hands move to Wanda's cheeks, holding her gently, but she steps away from him, her resolve evident. You move closer to her, feeling the tension in the air thickening.
"Y/N, don't," You hear the tremor in her voice, the raw emotion threatening to spill over.
You bite the inside of my cheek, grappling with the gravity of the situation. "Wanda," You address her firmly, reaching out to grasp her shoulder. "If you refuse... I will take Vision's stone out of his head because I know I can, and I will personally crush it, and then my own if that is our last resort," You declare, your tone unyielding. "And I will do it in front of you," You add, squeezing her shoulder for emphasis. "I don't say this lightly because I'd rather not die. I personally think that between the three of us we can take him down, but if you won't do it, I will," You assert, speaking with a deadly seriousness before returning to your spot, your heart heavy with the weight of your words.
"I won't entertain the idea of trading lives," Cap asserts firmly.
"Seventy years ago, you laid down your life to save how many millions of people?" Vision responds, his voice carrying a weight of history. You tune out their exchange, feeling a sense of unease settling over you. You lean forward, pulling Tasha back to you, seeking comfort in her presence. Wrapping your arms around her waist, you settle her between your legs, resting your chin on her shoulder as you gaze at Wanda. Regret and guilt weigh heavy on your heart, and you grip Tasha tighter until she makes a small noise of discomfort. Quickly, you release your hold, whispering an apology.
"Sorry..." You murmur softly, your voice barely audible.
Tasha responds with a gentle pat on your arm, understanding in her touch. "It's okay, Y/N," she whispers back.
As Bruce delves into an explanation about Vision's complex composition, your brows furrow in confusion. "What?" You whisper, turning to Bruce. "How did I not know there's parts of me in him?" You ask, bewildered by the revelation.
"Tony put everything of you that Jarvis collected over the years of your sessions," Bruce explains matter-of-factly.
"Good to know my sessions were private," You mutter sarcastically against Tasha's shoulder.
"You're saying Vision isn't just the stone?" Wanda interjects, her voice carrying a hint of curiosity.
"I'm saying that if we take out the stone, there is still a whole lot of Vision left. Perhaps the best parts," Bruce elaborates, prompting a moment of contemplative silence.
"What about me?" You inquire, releasing Tasha and standing up once more, your emotions bubbling to the surface. "You told me years ago that this stone is attached. It's wrapped around my lungs and my heart. If we take it out of me..." Your voice cracks, tears spilling down your cheeks. "I will die," You confess, your vulnerability laid bare for all to see.
Bruce places his hands on your shoulders, offering reassurance as you struggle to maintain composure. "I've thought about it a lot over the years, and I was thinking maybe, similar to Tony, we could do an open-heart surgery. Open you up and basically cut away the tendrils that the stone has put around your heart and lungs. Take the stone out and put an arc reactor in its place to keep you going," he suggests, his words hanging heavy in the air.
"D-do you think we can do that?" Tasha's voice quivers with fear and concern.
"Not me. Not here," Bruce replies solemnly, withdrawing his hands as you retreat back to Tasha's embrace.
"Well, you better find someone and somewhere fast," Rhodes interjects, breaking the somber atmosphere with a practical reminder.
"I know somewhere," Cap offers, his voice cutting through the tension with a sense of urgency.
As you holed yourself away in the small room of the Quinjet, facing the wall to hide your tears, the weight of your emotions overwhelmed you. Sobs wracked your body, your throat burning with the effort to contain your grief. In moments like these, you longed for the ability to numb your own emotions, to escape the pain that threatened to consume you.
A knock at the door startled you, and you called out for whoever it was to go away. Despite your plea, the door opened, and you tensed, expecting Tasha's presence. Yet, as the cot beside you shifted, you realized it was someone else. you didn't dare look, even when I felt soft lips press against the back of my shoulder, and tears dampened my shirt.
"I can't lose you," came the whispered confession, confirming your suspicion that it was Wanda behind you.
"Why not? You have Vision," you replied, your voice strained and cracked from crying.
"I do, but I don't want to lose you. You're too important. I meant what I said," Wanda insisted, her arm tightening around you as she pulled you closer.
"It's too high a price," she added, sending a shiver down your spine. You reached out, placing your hand over hers, and then turned to face her, allowing her to pull you into her embrace.
"Come here," You whispered, giving in to the flood of emotions as you cried in her arms. "Wands, I don't want to die... I know we're Avengers, but I'm terrified of death," You confessed, your tears flowing freely as she rubbed your back in a comforting gesture, mirroring the care you had shown her countless times before.
"I won't let that happen. I promise," Wanda whispered soothingly. "Just rest for now. We'll be in Wakanda soon enough, and I don't want you thinking about it anymore."
Looking up at her, you found the courage to ask something you had never asked before, a desperate plea born out of fear and desperation. "Can you take it away? Can you make me forget it?"
Wanda cupped your cheek, her touch gentle yet determined as she searched through your thoughts, sensing the depth of your distress. With a nod, she moved her fingers to your temples, her crimson tendrils reaching out as you closed your eyes, surrendering to her power.
"Shhhh, don't worry anymore, Detka... rest now," were the last words you heard, and you swore you felt her lips brush against yours before sleep claimed you, offering temporary respite from the weight of your fears.

When Ross's men came into view, Bucky felt her pace slow down. He felt the way her fingers twitched within his hand as her eyes scanned the hall in front of him. It was then that he realized it wasn't that she was nervous, it was how she was counting them without being too obvious.
He knew her mind was in defense mode. Taking in the details to ensure she'd be able to handle herself if the need arises. In an attempt to distract her, he tapped his fingers against her skin to throw off her numbers.
The moment she felt the randomized tapping, it caused her head to shoot up and look at him. When she saw the knowing look on his face, she simply shrugged her shoulders as if it had been nothing.
She understood why he had done it. He wanted her to know that she would be okay there. That there wouldn't be a reason she would need those numbers. But a habit such as that one wasn't easily given up.
When they came up to the door, Bucky went to open it. But the moment his hand reached out a guard reached his hand out to stop him. It caused Bucky to raise a brow as he looked over at the man.
“I'm sorry Sergeant Barnes, but I have an order to only allow her in.” His head tilted towards her.
“Who gave that order?” Bucky asked as a glare formed on his face.
“Secretary Ross.” He said with a nod. “The other Avengers are already in the viewing room.”
“They tried going in and waiting?” Bucky asked as he looked over at her.
“Until Secretary Ross ordered them out.” The guard responded. “I was told to redirect anyone else to the viewing room.”
Her heart sped up at that moment. Bucky wouldn't be there with her. Part of her hoped he'd be able to sit there in the room. She knew he wouldn't have been able to say anything but, his presence would bring her comfort.
“You'll be okay.” Bucky’s words prevented her from beginning to spiral. “I'll be waiting for you the moment you walk out this door.”
“If you're not, I'll hold it against you.” She shrugged slightly before she gently let go of his hand and the moment the guard opened the door she stepped into the room.
Ross had been by the back wall of the room speaking with a guard. Their conversation had been hushed that she hadn't picked up on anything. The moment the door closed behind her, his attention left the guard and zeroed in on her.
“Y/N.” He crossed his arms over his chest. “I was almost certain I'd be forcing you in here.”
A guard in the corner closest to the door motioned for her to take a seat. She eyed it for a moment before she looked back at Ross. She kept her eyes on him the whole time she walked towards the table and took a seat.
“We both know that's not really my name.” She said the moment she was seated.
Ross scoffed. “And Phantom is?”
“No.” She shook her head. She was surprised how calm her voice had come out. There was no venom in her voice in an attempt to defend herself. She simply answered the question. “I wasn't given the name Phantom until my handler at the time saw the local news calling me that. I had been with Hydra for five years at that point.”
“I think I'd like to stick to Murderer.” He said as he slid a thick file towards her. “Maybe even a terrorist. The last six months you have been the constant headache I've had to deal with. Almost 200 hundred casualties and a handful of people in critical condition after today's stunt.”
Quick flashes of memories played in her mind. Death by her hands was not always quick. Some were shot in the head in one quick motion while others had been stabbed and cut in not so pleasant ways. Each of them had come at her with full force. Each face had been there. Each way she had taken their life had been there in her mind.
Her eyes welled up for a moment before she blinked them back just as quickly. She wouldn't let him of all people see her break down. She refused to let him see her fall apart at the memories she was forced to do.
“You can call me whatever you want.” Her voice was steady. “Doesn't change the fact I was a pawn in someone else's game.”
“Is it really someone else's if you went back?” He asked.
“Forced.” She corrected. “There are very few things in my life that I've done willingly.”
Ross didn't find it to be funny, but he chuckled slightly. “Do tell what it is you've done on your own free will.”
“Let's start with me not killing Earth's Mightiest Heroes.” She tilted her head to the side. “Trust me, I had several chances to do so. How about every mission that helped save thousands of people in the process. Or the fact I single handedly took out a Hydra base to ensure my freedom.”
“And how many of those missions were you playing as a double agent?” He asked as he pulled out the chair across from her and sat down. “How many deaths have you caused under Hydra?”
“How many deaths are you responsible for under the name of protecting the US?” She asked back without missing a beat. “If everything I've learned is accurate. My number isn't as nearly as bad as yours. Your casualty list consists mostly of people in the wrong place at the wrong time. Civilians caught in the crossfire in your desperate need to bring in Dr. Banner. Shall we discuss what happened with Blonsky? What about the missions you requested the Avengers go on that were strictly on Hydra’s agenda without your knowledge. Even you, Mr. Secretary, are not as clean as you may think.”
His eyebrow raised and a small smirk pulled at the corner of her lips. She hadn't been wrong and he knew that. The details that had been put out into the world by Natasha with the fall of SHIELD was proof enough.
She watched as he steeled himself. She could see the way he was trying to get this back on track to be in his favor. This wasn't about the things he had done. It was about what she had done and what she knew.
“My history isn't an act of war to other countries.” He started. “Yours on the other hand has proven several times that having you out in the world is dangerous. The intel you've stolen and used for Hydra adds to it. Every government you've stolen from is putting a price on your head.”
“What if I told you I never stole it?” She asked as she watched him. “Sure, the first time around I hacked into what I needed to complete my missions. But this time, most of it was handed to me without so much as entering a single keystroke to bypass security mainframes.”
“And how was it that it was so easily handed to you?” He asked. “It's hard to believe that the intel of a majority of classified documents was just handed to you as if it was nothing. And for an elaborate measure to obtain that technology doesn't come easy as you say it is. ”
“Tell me something, Ross.” She said as she leaned back in her seat and crossed her arms over her chest. “Do you vet everyone that works with you?”
His eyes narrowed for a moment. “That's not what we're discussing.”
“Isn't it?” She asked. “Your questions are based on what information I can provide on how Hydra has provided Intel for my missions. Your office has had several investigations about security data breaches in the last year.” She hadn't missed the way Ross had stiffened in his seat. She could see in his eyes that what she was saying wasn't new information to him. It wasn't public information either. “What's it like upping the household security for the secrets you know? Or the agents you keep on security detail for your daughter because the simple knowledge of what was breached could put her life in danger?”
“Don't you dare-” Ross began but she cut him off.
“Or how about the details of the German technology convoy?” Her voice was a little louder than his. “Your informant in Germany sent over the details. It was a way to ensure the US knew what was being moved and if it would be safe in transport. And what do you know, five hours later they were put into my hands with a mission tied into it. If you want someone to blame, you might want to get Internal Affairs involved. I'm just the puppet.”
A pin drop could be heard after her voice had left the air. Ross's glare was heavy as he kept his attention on her. Her eyes never left him as she didn't back down. If this had been two years ago, a full smirk would have pulled at the corner of her lips as she spoke to him. But this was an interrogation and the circumstances were now different.
Her words were enough to even leave the ones behind the window with their jaws hanging. The information she had given was enough to give Ross everything he was asking for with her usual flair.
A proud smile had been on Bucky's face as he watched the interaction. She hadn't changed at all. Her tactics were the same even when she had just been subjected to plenty of things over the last two years.
“I just remembered why I would never want to be on the opposite side of the table from her.” Sam said with a shake of his head.
“It's all that training she's had.” Natasha noted. “And she's had more of it than I did.”
“More lethal too.” Tony noted. It caused them all to look towards him for a moment. “All I'm saying is none of us have been able to render Ross speechless. There's a staredown happening a few feet from us and the people in this room have never done that before.”
“You know who it is.” Ross said, stopping their conversation.
“That's a vague assumption.” She said with a slight tilt of her head. “I know a lot of things and who they pertain to. Your secrets, I definitely know. Your informants throughout different agencies, I know them. Met a few of them as well.” She pursed her lips for a moment. “As an Avenger and with Hydra, for that matter. Do I know who is responsible for hacking into it all? Of course.” Her eyes moved from Ross to the window behind him. “Just like I know my handler has a false identity within your ranks and hasn't raised any red flags, even before the fall of SHIELD.”
Bucky and Steve looked at each other for a moment before Steve was moving away from the window. A silent conversation had been had. She wasn't just giving that information as if it was nothing. That wasn't for Ross. It was for them.
“Your handler.” Ross clarified. “Who is it?”
“I want immunity.” She looked back towards him.
Ross scoffed. “This isn't a negotiation. I doubt you'd see daylight after today.”
“Shame.” She said with a sigh. “I'm sure I can make some friends in some very low places that would just love to hear what I've learned over the years.”
“Is that a threat?” He asked as he began standing. “I'll have you locked away-”
“Where?” She asked as she leaned forward. “Your Raft was deemed inhumane and was dismantled. There's not a jail or prison on this Earth you'd be able to put me in. Solitary confinement might be ideal, but all it's gonna take is for one corrupt guard to ask the right question, for the right price. Execution may be your saving grace, but how do you get all of them to agree to let me walk out of here to start the process for it?” Her head nodded towards the window.
She watched as Ross actually looked over his shoulder at the window. To her and Ross's knowledge, the whole team had been behind that window watching. The same team who were stubborn enough to go against him on several things at several different times.
“I'm not the enemy here, Ross.” She continued. “Secrets can be kept for the right people. Having me as an ally is a whole lot better than having to look over your shoulder wondering who might come for that specific piece of information. I am also the only one capable of giving the updated insider information.”
“So far you've only managed to say you have details but you haven't given anything to show you actually do. Its all been speculation.”
She knew what Ross was doing. He was trying to turn this back in his favor. He wanted the information without giving her anything in return. She could spill it all and he wouldn't give her anything in return.
“Immunity. And I'll start with the closest threat that can be dealt with immediately.”
“Closest threat?” Sam asked as he watched Ross stare her down once more. “Is there something else we aren't aware of?”
“They can be anywhere.” Bucky responded. “They were here. There could be others near by waiting for the next command.”
Then a thought crossed his mind. One that made him tense at the thought. He did a quick glance of the people in the room. The whole team had been there, minus Steve as he was checking the new lead. And at the back wall by the door, two guards were posted. They were quietly talking among themselves oblivious to the conversations being had by the team.
When he brought his attention back to the window, he watched the guards in the room. He watched as some of their hands flexed by their sides. He watched as three particular ones had sweat dewing on their forehead while another looked completely bored.
Bucky realized she wasn't counting how many guards were present in the event that she needed an escape. She was counting how many faces she knew.
“The terms of your immunity will be based on what information you provide and if it is accurate.” Ross began and Bucky brought his attention to her.
He watched as she took in his words for a moment before she nodded her head. “Just to be clear, if the first piece of information I give is accurate, I get immunity?”
She was being smart about it. She needed to hear him say it. He needed to say it in order for her to accept.
“Yes.” Ross agreed, annoyed.
She nodded her head and uncrossed her arms as she braced herself. She knew what would come as soon as she said it.
Bucky looked towards Natasha and Sam. The moment he had their attention his eyes shifted towards the guards at the door. A simple motion that told them to prepare themselves. It earned brow raises from both of them until they heard her speak.
“Of the ten guards you came with, six of them are Hydra associates.”
The moment the words filled the air. Three of the guards in the interrogation room moved towards her to attack. A way to silence her if she began speaking about Hydra. She shot up from her seat and began defending herself.
In the same moment, the viewing room door opened, two other guards came in. The goal was to keep the Avengers from getting to Phantom. But the guards were currently outnumbered and out-powered. It wouldn't be long before they were taken down.
Back in the interrogation room, she had used the chair to her advantage to knock one of them unconscious. The right amount of force with movement and hitting the guard in the right sport worked in her favor.
As the two other guards advanced, her hands instinctively went down towards her sides, looking for weapons. But her tactical belts had been removed while she had been out. With a quick shake of her head she braced herself for hand to hand combat until she could steal something from one of them.
She was trained for this. Not just in the recent months but from years of it being embedded into her mind. Never be weaponless.
It took only one block from the guard on her left before she had something in her hand. And as her elbow came back and hit the guard square in the face on her right, she knew that all it would take would be to get the right amount of spacing and it'd be over. She'd come out of this untouched.
In one breath, she had a gun in her hand and within the next breath both of the guards had been on the ground. A routine she could do in her sleep if she ever needed to. The echoes from the gunshots in such an enclosed space didn't phase her at all.
From the moment she had outed the guards to them lying on the ground, the time had passed quickly. But she hadn't so much as broken a sweat by the time she looked back at Ross. He was currently being protected by the one single guard that wasn't Hydra.
Pulling the magazine out and clearing the chamber, she placed the gun on the table between her and them. It would have been smarter to keep the gun in hand. But she didn't need Ross to think she was a threat.
“I believe that was enough to grant immunity.”
Bucky’s voice had startled her. While her body didn't flinch or react in a way anyone else had, she had simply tensed up. She hadn't known he had even come into the room, let alone when. And that seemed to throw her off more.
“You aren't paying attention.” Her handler said as he circled the sparring room. The barely legal adult currently had been held in a headlock. With the right leverage her neck could easily be snapped.
She'd only been training with Hydra for a few weeks. Her mind had been reduced to nothing but skills. Yet she was currently being scolded like a child for not paying close attention to the door behind her.
“If this had been a mission, you would have failed.” He said as he gave a nod. The soldier let her go at the command and took a step back. “You are worth every penny spent and I'll make it so you never forget about all the entry ways.”
The memory had pulled her in that she didn't hear Ross accept the terms of immunity. Nor did she hear the way Bucky had commented about making plans to get the information Ross needed. Her brain didn't even register the voice above them stating Captain Rogers was requesting their presence.
That name everyone had been calling her for years could be heard a moment later. It was used in an attempt to get her back to the present, not wherever her mind currently was.
“I got her.” Bucky said as he came to stand beside her. He didn't know when her mind pulled her back in or what caused her to.
Just as he had earlier, he gently reached out and grabbed her hand. And just like earlier he gauged on how she reacted to him doing so. Each step he took in an attempt to bring her out of her mind always revolved around if she reacted in any way.
If she flinched or instinctively pulled herself out of his hold, he would have stopped and tried a different approach. But when she didn't react negatively, he continued. Just like now, the moment he felt her fingers adjust in a bit before relaxing, he knew he could continue.
“What memory has you pulled in?” He asked curiously even though he knew she wouldn't answer him.
He could see it in the way her eyes weren't focused on one thing. They flicked from one spot to another, trying to find a place to settle on. At least until they welled up. An ache filled Bucky’s chest as he watched the first tear fall from her eyes.
“You don't have to stay in there.” He said as he brought his left hand up to gently run his vibranium fingers along her cheek. He hoped that the cold contrast of the metal would help ease her out. “You're safe with me. I've got you and I'm not going to let you go until you want me to.”
He tried to think about all of the times she had helped him. His nightmares didn't stop after he had come back from Wakanda. He was safe from ever being pulled back in but the memories that were tied to a majority of his life were unescapable. She was the one that helped him out every time.
His thumb came up and wiped the tears that had fallen down her cheek. A moment later he watched as her free hand came up and rested on top of his. When his eyes met hers, the vacant look was gone. Her eyes were focused on him.
“There she is.” He said, giving her a smile.
“How long was it this time?” She asked softly as she leaned into the vibranium. The cool metal felt comfortable to her. It grounded her in a way she never realized she needed until now.
“No longer than earlier.” He nodded. “Ross granted your immunity, right before Steve had FRIDAY call us up. Agents even came in and took the bodies.”
Her head instantly turned to where the bodies had been before she got pulled into her head. The floor had been empty of bodies, but the pools of blood that had gathered had yet to be clean.
Her bullet.
But it hadn't been. Not this time. She was trying to prove a point and she did just that. Those bullets were meant for her. She was supposed to be the one on the ground without a heartbeat.
“How long before Ross wants everything I can provide?” She asked, bringing her attention back to him.
“We've got enough breathing room, for now.” He sighed as he took a step back from her. “Might be a good thing given that Steve has found something.” He nodded his head towards the exit.
“Right.”
It didn't take them long to get up to the conference room. The Avengers had been in there discussing several things from the day. Ross stood in the corner with the remaining trusted guards. From the looks of it, he was simply listening as he occasionally glared at the guards with them. As if gauging if they were really safe from Hydra’s influence.
The moment they stepped into the room, the conversations hadn't stopped. Nor did they make her feel like she was someone who left years ago. It was like she never left or missed a beat. It felt comforting in comparison to what could have possibly happened.
When they reached the conference table, Wanda instantly pulled her into a hug. The tight embrace had been welcoming in ways she'd never be able to express. And it almost brought tears to both of their eyes.
Wanda had been her closest friend. She hated how hard it had been to leave that night without so much as saying goodbye to her. Deep down that was why she opened her mind up to Wanda a lot more than she normally would. It was a way to say goodbye without having Wanda try to stop her.
“Welcome back.” Wanda said, still holding onto her.
She could only give a smile in response as she pulled away slightly to look at Wanda. Was she really back? Would they just take her in with open arms this time around? They may have decided on things that she wasn't around for.
Steve cleared his throat, getting their attention. “I believe I found what you spoke about. I didn't want to let the others see it until you did.”
She raised her eyebrow for a moment. “If you know, then why not go for it?”
“Because being one hundred percent sure is better than going off an assumption.” He nodded his head before he handed her the Stark pad. “I had narrowed it down to a handful. But given the new information there's only two of them that are currently flagged.”
That was when the conversations around her stopped. That was when the attention was on her. It was the information that she could provide that sparked their curiosity.
Taking a hold of the device, she looked at the files on screen. Between the two faces, her eyes had instantly gone to the one on the left. The memories were quick, each of them quick and simple. Your next mission…
And when the mission was complete, his smirk would grow before he clapped his hands together.
“I told my brother he should have invested in you instead of letting the others take control over you. Leaving you under cover like that was a mistake. Getting you back like this, it's been the cherry on top.”
Bucky hadn't missed the way her grip tightened on the device in her hands. It made him reach out for it and tug at it for her hands to let go of it. He handed it to Steve before he turned back to look at her.
“The one on the left.” She said after a few deep breaths. “The younger Strucker brother.”
“Excuse me,” Tony said almost in disbelief. “Strucker? As in the Strucker that had Loki's scepter? The one Ultron killed to send a message?”
She nodded her head. “Between the two of them, they had a system going. One of them had a heavy hand in things and the other kept a low profile. Changed his name and climbed the ranks as if it was something he had been working for his whole life. He kept all ties severed and you'd never suspect him for anything. With the fall of SHIELD I was handed off to another cell when an experimental cell refused to take charge. I remember being told that an opportunity had been missed with that cell. An asset such as myself would have benefited from the experiments. Instead I was set up for a different mission that would eventually lead to me helping to raid that cell.”
She tried as best as she could to keep memories from wanting to suck her back into her mind. Flashes and echoes played in her mind but she had been able to keep her focus. And as long as she didn't sit with one memory for too long, she'd be fine.
“I didn't meet this Strucker until after I had been reprogrammed.” She tried not to look at any of them in the face. She didn't want to see the looks in their eyes as she talked about it. “He had a right hand that would act as my handler when Strucker couldn't be present for mission assignments and debriefs. I never learned his name but I knew his face because he was the first and last face I saw each time I woke up and before I was tossed in a cell. And when the programming was set, he was there. It wasn't long after that I was in D.C. meeting Strucker.
“He was boastful when I returned from a mission. Never missed an opportunity to mention how his brother had been wrong in refusing me. That if anything were to show his success, it was me and the weapon that we were creating. It'd be his chance to show how much Hydra had truly grown since the fall of SHIELD. To prove that hiding in the shadow until the right time would be worth it.”
“What was he planning on building?” It was Ross's voice that filled the air.
“He took the data information his brother had collected along with blood samples from test subjects.” She began as she looked towards Ross. “He also found a way to miniaturize Project Insight. Put the two together and-”
“You get a weapon that can turn specific people into enhanced weapons.” Steve finished for her.

F@cking the boss - Harvey Specter x Reader Part 1/2
Tumblr media
Summary: After being interviewed for a job offer that was meant for your roommate you meet a fascinating boss who sees right through all of your lies
You sighed as you approached your apartment door, it was painted a dull faded orange that now looked like someone had been smoking in the halls for years, you sorted through the stack of mail you grabbed on your way into the building. All of it was bills or advertisements until you got to a thin envelope, it was addressed to your roommate but it came from a big law firm in Upstate Manhattan. Pearson and Hardman, you had seen their commercials way too many times. Curious you ripped opened the paper envelope, flipping open the folded paper inside seeing an invitation to interview as a new assistant for one of their senior associates. You smirked a bit walking inside as you shut your apartment door and plopped down on the couch, grabbing your bowl of weed from the table smoking it gone before going to your room to find clothes for the interview. See normally you’d never open your roommates mail, but recently she had taken it open herself to open her legs to your boyfriend and get you fired from your shared job, so you felt like you deserved this.
Monday morning
You gulped nervous pushing open the hotel door and walking farther into the conference rooms trying to figure out where the hell this meeting was being held, until you saw the giant sign, ‘PEARSON AND HARDMAN LAW FIRM INTERVIEW NEXT DOOR ON THE RIGHT’. You took a deep breath hoping for it to give you some confidence as you walked through the door looking at all of the other females who were waiting, they all matched the type of your roommate, blonde hair, big boobs, and mini skirts. You felt like you were dressed too professional as you walked up to the desk “excuse me?..is this the interviews for the law firm?” You asked politely to the woman sitting at the desk “yes, yes it is, go down that hallway to the left and you’ll meet with Mr. Specter” she said pointing down a short hallway. You felt like the ground was shaking under your feet as you made your way to the makeshift office that had a well dressed man sitting behind the desk looking at you with raised eyebrows. “Who are you?” He asked tilting his head up towards you like he was better than you in a sense. "My name is Y/n L/n, I'm here for the..assistant position?" You offered as you took a seat in front of him, he watched you closely "Everybody is, darling, what makes you so special?" He asked crossing his arms "I'm determined in my work, I have no boyfriend, no kids, and I'm looking for a good job to get my foot in the door to becoming the best lawyer in New York" You said stubbornly eyeing him in the same manner he was to you, you knew what he was doing, intimidation. "...okay" He said unsure "What do you have experience with?"
Next Monday
You were in complete shock, you were on your way to walk to the law firm when a car had stopped in front of your path, you stopped getting your pepper spray out and ready before the window rolled down revealing Harvey Specter sitting in the back "You think I would let my new secretary walk to work? No Princess, in the car" He demanded as you stuttered rushing to the other door sliding into the seat. "Listen. Today's gonna be alot, Y/n, You'll be meeting my former assistant and who's retiring after today, you'll meet Louis Litt, jackass on a stick, he threatens or tries to flirt you tell me got it?" You nodded "You'll meet Mike Ross, my hired associate, you'll also answer to him partially under my word and he'll answer to you." After Harvey got done briefing you, You were trained by a pregnant woman named Donna, had a meeting with Jessica Pearson, a meeting with Louis Litt, and Mike Ross. Now you were being motioned in by Harvey who was sitting at his desk, his suit jacket sitting on his chair as he watched you, he looked hot as hell, and you knew you were shamelessly checking him out, unknown to you he was doing the same thing.
You took a seat in front of him as he offered you a soft smile "Hey, How's your first day?" He asked raising an eyebrow "I-It's good..I'm enjoying it so far..Louis was very...stern though" You mumbled, he raised his eyebrows "Nothing over the line, right? You're alright?" He asked, "I'm fine, Mr. Specter, I'm a big girl" You stated nervously, you knew you had been lying to Harvey since the interview, you were not qualified to work for Pearson-Hardman and you weren't anything like his past receptionist. "Well, I'm heading out for the night, care for a drink?" He offered standing up, grabbing his jacket and files "U-Um actually, I've gotta get back home" Truth was, you had to meet your dealer to get your next bag of weed. "Great, We'll drink there" He said quickly, you could tell he wasn't going to let go of the topic and Donna did warn you, Harvey liked to get close with his receptionists, they were like brother and sister. You huffed going to grab your coat and bag as Harvey called for the elevator, You followed behind eyeing him up and down any chance you got.
As you entered your apartment you realized your dealer had already been there, there was a bag of pre-rolled's on your coffee table. You were quick to dive for the bag grabbing it as Harvey walked in, watching you in confusion "Hiding something?" He asked raising an eyebrow "N-No" You protested crossing your arms, hiding the bag of joints under your arm. He tilted his head walking closer, if he was anybody different you probably would've pepper sprayed his ass, but he was hot and a damn good lawyer. "You know, Y/n..Wanna know something funny about me?" He asked as he stalked closer to you, you looked him in the eyes as you slowly shuffled back towards the wall keeping the bag tightly tucked in-between your arm and chest. "Hmm?" You asked before bumping into the wall, watching as Harvey took slow, agonizing steps towards you until you felt his breath on your face "I know when people are lying...and I know you're lying about a lot of stuff" He said quietly, not breaking eye contact with you, narrowing your eyes you put a hand on his chest. "I don't know what you're talking about Mr. Specter" You offered raising your eyebrows. He slammed his hand against the wall by your head almost making your knees give out and you fall to the floor, Harvey was huffing and you were trying to even your breathing from how hot he was currently "What're you hiding, Y/n" He asked alot more sternly, your arms dropped in defeat, the bag falling to the floor in between your feet and Harvey's. He smirked kneeling down as he picked up the bag with two fingers dangling it infront of your face. "Nothing was it?" He asked again, his tone was antagonizing, like he was teasing you. "Nothing at all" You proposed as he raised his eyebrows leaning closer before pulling one of your joints out, putting it between his lips, lighting it, all before blowing the smoke into your face. "Seems like a pretty good something to me, you get this from Mike?" He asked, your mouth dropped in shocked "That is Mike!" You gasped as he watched you, placing the joint between your lips he smirked "Inhale" He whispered as you took a hit, you inhaled then exhaled before slowly moving to the couch, Harvey close behind.
Your joint bag was gone, you and Harvey had smoked the entire thing and were now stoned off your asses, laying naked in your bed recovering from the most mind-blowing sex you've ever had. "You just ate an entire bag of pretzels how do you not have cotton mouth?" You asked in disbelief, he just laughed rolling on his back, you could see his bare chest and stomach as the sheet started to fall down around his waist. "I'm Harvey Specter I don't get cotton mouff" He stated before laughing as he made eye contact with you "Mouff? Harvey Specter does too get cotton mouff!" You laughed as you handed him your water bottle looking at him as he took a huge gulp. This was a different side of Harvey, one that laughed, that hugged, that cared.
"Harvey?.." You asked after the two of you stopped laughing "Yes?.." He asked turning towards you, draping a hand over your bare waist "Do you sleep with all of your receptionists?" You asked quietly, you could feel his fingers brushing up and down your side as he looked at you "Do you lie and fuck all of your bosses?" He challenged, you raised your eyebrows slapping his chest "ow! I'm kidding!" He laughed "No...I don't..I'm stoned, but, I know you're a sweet woman, who is already amazing at a job she was never qualified for" He stated, you studied his face, watching his breathing. He was truly the most Handsome man you've ever seen.
"Am I fired?" You asked playing with his hair slowly "No...I like you too much to let you go, and it's hard to find a lady to boss me around while also following my orders" He stated kissing your forehead before you tucked your head against his chest dozing off.

“What do you mean we’re dead?” he asks.
“I mean…you’ve got the wrong girl. We picked up the wrong girl and we are totally fucking dead.” he yelps out breathlessly.
“What? Wrong girl? Fuck off, She’s a Sheild agent. How is she the wrong girl.” he asks.
The man that ran in looks at me wide-eyed, “I mean she’s… she’s Y/N Ross. As in the Secretary of State’s daughter Ross. As in she dati-” POW BOOM
The crash from upstairs sends rubble falling from the ceiling. “We are FUCKED MAN!” he yells again and I’m hoping that the sounds from above are coming from my rescuer. “What is that?” My assailant asks the man by the door. “She’s dating him! The Winter Fucking Soldier! He’s going to fu-” POP the light from his eyes disappears as he slides down the wall, blood dripping from the fresh bullet hole in his temple. “Fuck! Fuck!” The other man calls out, backing away from the other man’s corpse.
A cold laugh escapes from my lips. “You’re dead asshole,” I tell him, and when I look up at the figure filling the doorway my body sags with relief. The man attempts to move behind me and as he takes the knife out of his belt and angles it to my throat a shot rings out and his body falls heavy onto the floor.
James runs to my side and gently cups my face, pressing a kiss to my temple. “Baby,” he says softly. He kneels down next to me and slides the knife carefully against the ropes that bind my wrists. Taking them into his hands the coolness of his metal smooths the ache against my skin. “James, you’re here. You came.”

“Y/N is in labor! Everyone go go go!” Monica yelled rushing everyone out of the door.
_____
You were breathing frantically. You can’t believe you’re having a baby. You’re in the waiting room waiting for all of your friends.
“Y/N we really should be going to the delivery room or something what if he just pops out?!” Your ex Dave was also panicking and trying to rush you.
“No I told you we are waiting for my friends!” Then they came. A bunch of ‘hi and heys’ were heard and then you and Dave rushed to the secretary.
“Hi I am about to have a baby so do I have to sign anything or?” You said smiling and very calm which shocked everyone. “Oh one of your friends can sign your papers.”
“Got it!” Joey walked to the front to grab the papers. “Um Joey I think Dave wanted to sign her papers.” Rachel said seeing the look on Dave’s face. “Well snooze you lose Dave.” He said as signing your papers. Joey never liked Dave he thought he didn’t deserve someone like you.
So imagine how mad he was when he found out you were pregnant with his baby.
“Ok this is fun and all but Dave take me to the room I think I can feel an arm crawling out.” With that said Dave put you in a wheelchair and ran to the room.
_____
After 30 hours and annoying people you finally had your little baby boy.
Everyone came in and said awww.
“Aw look at him!” Monica said while carrying him.
“Oh my god I just want to chop him up and put his parts in my pocket!” Phoebe said not seeing all the scared stares on her. “So what do you guys think on naming him?” Ross asked.
“Well I’m letting Y/N have full control over his name. She’s the one who popped him out anyway!”
“Vincent Joseph L/N”
Everyone just sighed and looked at Joey. Joey looked at everyone and was confused. “What is everyone looking at?”
“Joey um what’s Joey short for?” Chandler asked.
“Joesph Why?”He gasped and you laughed. “Me? Oh my god thank you so much really this means a lot.” You just nodded and grabbed his hand and you guys looked at each other with such love.
After a few minutes everyone started to get uncomfortable. “Alright let’s go!” Phoebe said and everyone rushed out. Leaving you Joey and Dave.
“Well Ima get some flowers I’ll be right back.” Dave said while putting his jacket down on the chair in the room. It fell on the ground and Joey went to go pick it up.
And a ring fell out.
“Hey Joe? Can you help me with getting comfortable? Something’s on my back and I can’t get it.” He turned around and when he was on one knee you see a ring. You were shocked but it felt right to say yes.
“Okay.”
_____
“You did what?!” Joey just told Chandler what just happened between you and him. “I tried to tell her but her breasts were all out and I-.” He pacing back and forth. He just can’t believe you said yes.
_____
“He did what?!” You just told Monica that he proposed.
“He proposed!” You say smiling and showing your hand off.
“I really don’t think you should do this- and it’s bigger than mine!” She said grabbing your hand to look at the ring.
“Um Days of our lives thank you very much.” You say wiggling your finger around. She shook her head and let your hand go. “But no you can not marry him!”
Then Rachel and Phoebe walked in. “Perfect! More opinions! Ask them Monica.”
“Joey proposed. Should she marry him?”
“Yes!” They both exclaimed. “She’s already in love with Joey so that step is over.” Phoebe said.
“Yea and they are best friends!” Rachel continued.
“Woah woah I am not in love with Joey!” You said shutting down this allegation. “Yea alright.” Phoebe said sarcastically while rolling her eyes.
You’re not in love with Joey. Are you?
_____
“Man you gotta tell her that it was all a big misunderstanding.” Ross said. Joey is panicking, what if he didn’t want tell you. He would be a better husband than that bum. “Come on Joey.” Chandler said bringing Joey to your room.
_____
“Alright Joey tell her.” Chandler said while Ross pushed him closer. “Um I- I didn’t propose Dave’s jacket fell and I went to pick it up and a case fell out I opened it, it was a ring then you called me and I turned around and-.”
“What?!” Everyone turned around to see Dave with blue flowers and ‘Its a Boy!’ balloon. He rushed to you and saw your hand. “You said yes?!”
Ohhhh shit.
“Um well you can’t get mad at me I just had a baby!”
Then Dave turned to Joey. “Listen man I know you don’t like me but really?! The woman I have a baby with, that’s- that’s really low.” Then he turned to you. “I thought we could start over Y/n, but it’s whatever marry the guy I couldn’t care less.”
He walked out, then everyone walked out trying to comfort him. Leaving you and Joey. There was awkward silence. You were going to speak but he beat you to it. “Why did you say yes?” You just shrugged. “No, no you do know.”
“I really don’t Joe, I just didn’t want to be alone and if anyone should be my husband it should be you.”
“Is that really the reason Y/n?”
“Noooo I might like you like a little bit.” You say putting ur fingers together slightly. He just chuckled. “I might like you a little too.” He said while going to hug you but you pull him into a kiss instead.
“Oh my god can we come in now?!” You hear Rachel say behind the door. “Come in!”
They all walk in silently asking if something happened and when you nodded everyone cheered.
It finally happened.
______
It’s two years later, You and Joey are finally getting married. Dave slowly forgiven Joey but at least he’s okay with it. Vince is two now and he looks exactly like you, even though Joey is not his biological father, Vince still has his humor saying how you doin every chance he gets.
______
“Do you Y/n L/n take Joey Tribbiani as your lawfully wedded husband?”
“I do.”
Do you Joey Tribbiani take Y/n L/n as your lawfully wedded wife?”
“Hell yeah!” He saw the face of the minister and he apologized. “I mean yeah I do.” You chuckled a bit.
“You may kiss your bride.”
And he did and he did well.
Vince and everyone else cheered loudly.
You’re so glad he accidentally proposed.

Tumblr media
You get to the FBI bunker and get out of the SUV as Bucky’s pod is carried away by a forklift.
You and Steve both look at Bucky and, as Steve looks away, Bucky’s eyes meet yours for a second before he looks away again. All you can think about is how broken he looks, almost ashamed of his current situation.
You walk with Sam, Steve and T’Challa towards Sharon and a short man in a great suit.
“What's gonna happen to him?” You can’t help but ask.
“Same thing that ought to happen to you. Psychological evaluation and extradition.” the little man says.
“This is Everett Ross, Deputy Task Force Commander.” Sharon informs us.
“What about our lawyer?” Steve asks.
“Lawyer. That's funny.” Ross says. “See their weapons are placed in lockup. Oh, we'll write you a receipt.”
“I better not look out the window and see anybody flying around in that.” Sam says as they walk away with your gear.
You see the man carrying your gear playing around with a particular gadget. “I wouldn’t touch that, if I were you.” You warn him.
Almost as if just to piss you off the man activates the gadget and gets electrocuted, falling to the ground as you start laughing with a quiet "Dumbass".
As some other agents go to help the idiot you turn back to the group, Sam is grinning too and Sharon and T’Challa seem amused but Steve and Everett are glaring at you.
“What? I told him not to touch it!” You defend yourself, but it’s very clear you’re amused and have no regrets.
You all start walking, following Ross and he starts talking. “You'll be provided with an office instead of a cell. Now, do me a favor, stay in it?”
“I don't intend on going anywhere.” T’Challa says as Natasha joins your little group.
“For the record, this is what making things worse looks like.” She says looking directly at Steve.
“He's alive.” Steve answers as we approach Tony talking on the phone. You have to give it to Steve, at least he's consistent.
“No. Romania was not Accords-sanctioned. And, Colonel Rhodes is supervising cleanup.” Tony says on the phone.
“Try not to break anything while we fix this.” Natasha tells you all and you roll your eyes at her.
“Consequences? You bet there'll be consequences. Obviously you can quote me on that 'cause I just said it. Anything else? Thank you, sir.” Tony ends the call.
“'Consequences'?” You ask as you raise your eyebrow, your tone and facial expression clearly skeptical, not believing for a second that he’s serious about this.
“Secretary Ross wants all three of you prosecuted.” Tony answers. “Had to give him something.”
And, there he is. You chuckle quietly and could swear you saw a smirk in Tony’s face for a second.
“I'm not getting that shield back, am I?” Steve asks.
“Technically, it's the government's property.” Natasha says as she starts walking away before turning to you and Sam. “Wings and gear, too.”
“That's cold.” Sam says and you groan in annoyance; you love your gear.
“Warmer than jail.” Tony yells back while walking away with Nat and you roll your eyes.
You sigh deeply and turn to the two gentlemen next to you.
“Well, this is great.” You say sarcastically and, before they can say anything, some agents escort you and Sam to the office Ross spoke of, from which you can see the security cameras on Bucky, while Steve gets taken to another room for what you assume is gonna be questioning.
-
You and Sam are seated at the table next to each other as you see Bucky’s prison pod get connected to a pipe and the light inside it dims for a moment, just as Steve comes into the room where you and Sam are.
“What did they ask you?” You ask Steve as he comes to a stop in front of the glass where he can keep an eye on Bucky.
“Nothing, I was talking to Tony.” There's a pause where none of you talk, just watching Bucky before Steve quietly says. “Wanda’s being detained at the Compound.”
“What?!” you say loudly, startling both men. “What do you mean, she's detained?!”
“I think Tony doesn't want another accident to happen, so she's currently confined to the Compound” Steve elaborates.
“Fucking Stark…” You mumble under your breath, shaking your head in disappointment as you see Tony joining Natasha in the control room with Ross. You ignore Steve’s glare at your cursing and focus on Bucky in the screens in front of you even though you can't hear anything.
Your heart breaks a little for him at the way he’s being treated. After all Bucky’s whole situation wasn’t his choice, just a surprising amount of bad luck in the past 80 years.
After a minute Sharon enters the office you’re sitting in, handing us some papers. “The receipt for your gear.”
“‘Bird costume’? Come on!” Sam whines as you snort and laugh as he glares at you before glaring at Sharon.
“I didn’t write it.” She says defensively, then pushes a button that stops the restriction on the audio from Bucky’s cell and allows us to hear it on the little screen in the corner.
“I'm not here to judge you. I just want to ask you a few questions.” you can hear the psychiatrist say. “Do you know where you are, James? I can't help you if you don't talk to me, James.”
“My name is Bucky.” Bucky says calmly.
It’s the first time you hear him speak clearly and your eyes are glued to the screen. His voice is deep and gruff and you can’t help but find it attractive. You take a moment to really look at him and you think to yourself, for a brainwashed psycho assassin that’s almost 100 years old, he’s really quite handsome, isn’t he?
You’re brought back to the present by Steve’s voice. “Why would the Task Force release this photo to begin with?” He’s standing in front of the monitor, looking at the blurry photo of Bucky that was released on the news.
“Get the word out, involve as many eyes as we can?” Sharon answers.
“Right. It's a good way to flush a guy out of hiding.” Steve continues. “Set off a bomb, get your picture taken. Get seven billion people looking for the Winter Soldier.”
“You're saying someone framed him to find him?” You say with a frown, trying to follow his train of thought.
“Steve, we looked for the guy for two years and found nothing.” Sam points out.
“We didn't bomb the UN.” You point out absentmindedly.
“That turns a lot of heads.” Steve adds.
“Yeah, but that doesn't guarantee that whoever framed him would get him. It guarantees that we would.” Sharon says before trailing off and all of our attention drifts back to the screen where Bucky is being questioned by the psychiatrist.
“Yeah.” Steve says quietly.
“Tell me, Bucky. You've seen a great deal, haven't you?” the doctor asks.
“I don't want to talk about it.” Bucky says quietly.
“You fear that… if you open your mouth, the horrors might never stop. Don't worry.” The doctor taps his tablet to see something and you frown, everyone else’s expressions mirroring yours. “We only have to talk about one.”
Suddenly the lights go out in the bunker and you all look around confused. You can see people freaking out in the control room, Tony using FRIDAY through his glasses and Natasha looking around.
You look at Sharon and she simply says “Sub-level 5, east wing.” And you, Sam and Steve rapidly exit the room and head towards Bucky.
You arrive outside the chamber, red emergency lights flashing all around and agents slumped on the floor, all out cold.
You hear a feeble “Help me” and see the psychiatrist on the floor, clearly conscious, asking for help. Steve steps towards him and enters the room where Bucky's pod is, you barely enter it and Sam is right behind you at the threshold.
“Get up” He says and harshly grabs the doctor, shoving him against the wall. “Who are you? What do you want?”
“To see an empire fall.” Is all he says.
Suddenly there's movement behind you and you quickly turn around just in time to avoid Sam getting thrown into you and he lands against the pod instead.
You barely have time to react when you feel a punch in the stomach and stagger backwards against the wall, knocking the air out of you. You slide down on it and take a second to compose yourself as Steve starts fighting Bucky.
After what feels like a second Bucky sends Steve down an elevator and walks away. You groan and quickly get up, going to the elevator first.
“Please be alive, Rogers!” You shout down, as you try to look down.
“I’m okay!” He shouts back and you let out a breath of relief. “Find him!”
You don’t waste a second and run after him, catching up to him as he’s beating up a guard.
You put yourself in the middle of it after Bucky gets the better hand on the agent and takes his baton, you kick Bucky on the stomach but he barely moves.
At least you have his attention now and, when he looks at you, his eyes seem empty and void of any emotions. That’s not the same person you saw before. Those are not the same eyes you met when you got to the bunker.
You hesitate for a second and that’s enough for him to get the upper hand, grabbing you and throwing you over a table. He has a gun you assume he took from the other agent and aims it at you but, just as he’s about to pull the trigger, he gets disoriented by a stun-burst from Tony,that makes you cover your ears, then there’s a flash of light and then Bucky and Tony are fighting.
You take a moment to breathe and suddenly Tony’s on the ground and you go to him to make sure he’s okay while Natasha and Sharon take care of Bucky.
“Are you okay?” You ask him, worried, helping him sit up.
“Just dandy.” He says breathlessly.
Both of your attentions go to Sharon when she gets slammed into a table next to you and you both go to her. She’s conscious but before you can say anything, she points to something behind you and you turn around to see Bucky getting tackled off of Natasha by T’Challa.
You get up and go to Natasha as she’s taking in deep breaths after Bucky almost choked her, you help her sit up before turning around but both Bucky and T’Challa are already gone.
When you turn back to Natasha, she’s already looking at you. “Go” is all she says and you know she’s right, you should go before you get detained again.
You nod to her and all but run outside, where you see Sam just standing there in the middle of the running crowd. You go to him and, when he notices you, he shows you a hoodie that you assume to be the psychiatrist’s.
“I lost the doctor.” He confirms your theory.
“I lost the soldier.” You tell him and he sighs, as you both look around.
“We should get out of here” He says after a moment, looking at a group of guards.
You follow his line of sight and when you notice the guards too, you say “Yes, we should.” and you both start almost running, putting as much distance between yourselves and the FBI as you can.
-[Time skip to when they’re in the warehouse because I’m lazy and don’t want to make up all the stuff in the middle]-
While Steve and Sam wait for Bucky to regain consciousness you go to look for a first aid kit.
You’re all mostly fine, but Bucky has a cut in the forehead that Steve informed you occurred when he hit the windshield of a chopper, which is why he is unconscious.
It takes you a little time to get back to the abandoned warehouse they’re hiding in because of the pain in your torso, which you’re pretty sure is because your ribs are bruised.
By the time you’re back Bucky is awake and his metal arm is free. You hear him talking as you get closer to the room they’re in and the last thing he says is “You’d never see them coming.” before the three men notice you.
You completely enter the room, standing next to Sam but your eyes don’t leave Bucky, rightfully wary of the man.
“Don’t worry, he’s back to himself.” Steve says when he notices your careful and calculated moves.
“I am worried. He also tried to kill me as himself.” You say, looking away from Bucky and to the two men next to you.
“I wasn’t trying to kill you, I was trying not to get captured by you.” Bucky addresses you directly for the first time ever with an accusatory tone.
“Semantics.” You answer, looking back at him and narrowing your eyes. Your defiant, but admittedly childish, answer seems to surprise Bucky but it gets a chuckle out of Sam and a groan out of Steve.
“Just… please.” Steve says to you, almost begging you. “Help him.”
You roll your eyes and groan, mumbling an annoyed “Fine.” while cautiously moving towards Bucky. As you kneel in front of him and open the first aid kit you can hear Steve and Sam talking, but pay them no mind.
“You know I’m a supersoldier, right?” Bucky asks you quietly.
“Supersoldiers can bleed too.” you say while looking down and not at him, looking through the stuff in the kit. “The image of an unconscious and beaten up Steve in a hospital bed comes to mind.”
He knows you’re talking about Steve’s conditions after the whole Project Insight situation in DC, and you can tell he feels bad about it as he instantly looks away from you.
“Sorry,” you say with a sigh “That was mean.”
He seems to perk up a little at your apology and looks back at you.
“It’s okay.” You look up at him. “I kind of deserved it.”
You smile a little at this, and start to take out the stuff you’ll need as you say “You kind of did.”
You go to clean his cut but wince slightly, you almost forgot about your injuries. You take a deep breath and start carefully cleaning his cut and the blood off his forehead.
“Did I hurt you?” He asks you quietly, seemingly concerned that you’re in pain.
“Don’t worry.” You tell him just as quietly. “It’s nothing I can’t handle, Sergeant.”
“I bet you can, doll.” You almost feel like you imagined the nickname, but you’re positive you saw a grin on his face for half a second.
You can feel his eyes glued to your face as you take care of his cut, silently watching you work. You almost feel like he’s memorizing every detail of your face, like he’s trying to figure out everything about you right in that instance.
When you’re done you take a second to look into his eyes, expecting him to look away, but he holds your gaze and you feel your heart skip a beat by the intensity of his stare. After a moment you slowly get up, your eyes still locked on his and take a step back.
When you finally turn around you see Steve watching your interaction with a very curious look and, when you meet his eyes, he raises an eyebrow at you. You roll your eyes and ignore his silent question, getting closer to him and looking around for Sam, who you see just outside the room on the phone.
“Who’s he talking to?” You ask Steve.
“Don’t know” He shrugs. “Just said he knew a guy.”
A second later Sam gets closer as he ends the call.
“Alright, thanks, Scott.” He says and hangs up.
You raise your eyebrow at him. “Scott? Really?” You ask smirking and he groans, rolling his eyes while Steve just looks at us confused at why you’re so amused by this because he still doesn’t know about the time Scott breached the Compound and kicked Sam’s ass.
-
“I’m just saying, this isn’t really the most practical getaway car…” You say as the four of you make your way to meet Sharon in an old Volkswagen Beetle.
“It’s low profile” Steve defends his choice from in front of you, Bucky in the backseat to your right and Sam in front of him in the passenger’s seat.
“It’s really not, Steve.” you say back as Steve groans, prompting a snicker from Sam and, surprisingly, from Bucky too. You’re about to point out that this old car sticks out when Steve parks and gets out to talk to Sharon.
You can’t hear what they’re saying but you can see them looking at the Buggy for a second before Sharon opens the trunk of her car. Your joy about seeing your gear is a little overshadowed by Bucky’s voice as he talks to Sam.
“Can you move your seat up?” He asks, surprisingly polite.
“No.” Is all Sam says, being the petty bitch that he is. You roll your eyes at him, you get that the last time a car was involved with Bucky in the mix it didn’t go great, but still.
“Here, switch with me.” You tell Bucky and pull him to the middle seat, then climb over him to slide into his seat, being sure to smack Sam in the back of his head as you go and smirking at the loud “Ow” he lets out. You look back at Bucky and see him blushing slightly and you can’t help but smile.
When you look back at Steve and Sharon you can see them kissing and you let out an amused giggle. It looks like Captain Virgin finally got some.
They talk for another second before Sharon goes to her car and Steve turns to the three of you as you all smirk and you even wink at him. You can see him groan and roll his eyes before grabbing your gear and putting it in the trunk of the Buggy.
When he gets into the driver’s seat the only thing he says is “Not one word.” while the three of you quietly laugh but don’t tease him further.
He drives off and you look out the window, knowing that the hardest part is about to come. Whatever comes next sure won’t be as fun.

There's things I am understand from Tony Stans when they write 'Steve mistake ',
1. They will using reason Steven choose bucky over tony
2. Steve hide / lie the fact about tony parents death
3. Steven is not read accord and not make negotiations about accord
4. Steve recruit clint, sama and wanda and make them in raft. So it's steve mistake
From the four point the third point is bothering me. I am not gonna lie I kind forget the detail civil war but, steve did and the only one that read accord. Also if I am not wrong Ross didn't give chance go steve and everyone to negotiations about accord at all, I meant he said avenegrs onel have three days accept or retired. I menat what kind f&** is that. They have no time to negotiations about accord at all
And Tony said the can make negotiations after they sign the paper, that not how work. You can't make negotiations after to signed the papers, the UN won't considered that they want control, you signed you follow what is inside
So I think it's was weord they blame steve no want negotiations at all. Because there's no time for that, also Steven considered the accord if they for innocent protection and not for government to controlling innocent peoples. So why they keep point that?
I think they need to come up with excuses, half-truths and lies because no matter how hard the Russos tried to paint both teams as equally right, Team Cap is the only one in the right.
To your first point, Steve is against the Accords way before Bucky is even in the picture.
Tumblr media
This is something that not only the haters but many fans seem to forget: Not everything Steve does has to do with Bucky. He has a separate life and a mind of his own, and those Accords go against everything that makes him who he is.
To your second point, Steve had no way of knowing Bucky had murdered the Starks. Zola said this:
Zola: "For 70 years, HYDRA has been secretly feeding crises, reaping war. And when history did not cooperate, history was changed." Natasha: "That's impossible. S.H.I.E.L.D. would've stopped you." Zola: "Accidents will happen."
And this was shown:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This required Steve to assume Bucky had been the only Winter Soldier at the hands of Hydra. He could have guessed but he didn't know for sure. And going to Stark to tell him "I found out your parents were murdered but I'm not sure of what happened", over 20 years after the fact is not exactly ideal. Not to mention Stark had hacked Shield's systems two years prior. He didn't exactly do a good job of digging there, and Steve and he weren't that close.
To your third point, whoever says that is lying. Steve is the only one shown reading the Accords:
Tumblr media
My man has perfect memory. He knew very well those Accords were an abomination.
And to your last point, Sam, Clint and Wanda have agency and they knew what they were getting into before they went to the airport. Unlike Peter Parker who was lied to by Stark, Steve was very clear that he wanted his team to know who and why they were fighting, and the consequences of doing so. Even with a stranger like Scott:
Tumblr media
They chose to follow Steve because they knew it was the right thing to do. Clint left his family, Wanda risked her life and her freedom, so did Scott, Bucky and Sam. All of them followed and did the right thing because they're heroes, it's what they do.
Ross knew very well what he was doing. As Secretary of State, not only did he keep the Accords under wraps until only three days before the UN meeting, he kept from the entire team that an Accord is not the same as a law and it was a constitutional violation to try and enforce it on the team and the citizens.
They had no time to negotiate.
