Day 4: two bottles of fuchiet and peacock pyrite

What is a dragon courting hoard without a few shinies? If you don’t have some traditional gemstones in your hoard, don’t even talk to me. There’s a reason gemstones are traditional and it’s because it works.

These are two rough, but gorgeous pieces of their respective type, and make for a stunning display when they catch the light. Both were gifts from my sister and have a place of pride on my shelf.

Dang it, y'all! 😣 Totally missed the new moon last night 😫 I need to keep better track of the lunar calendar... Thanks to those of you that list those important dates for the rest of us 💑 --- Also, I noticed the receptionist at my hotel had a crystal necklace. When I brought it up, she said it was a healing stone, and showed me her chakra bracelets. I got all excited, and asked her what her necklace was; that it looked like carnelian. "I don't know. I got it from Hot Topic 😅 It's just, my back's been hurting, so I need all the healing I can get." I was totally about to say: "Lady, carnelian isn't going to help you with your back 😦" but I didn't want to be weird 😏 --- I know I was singing praises about tourist shops last night, but they can also be frustrating 😣 Half the time, the crystals weren't labeled, and I can only identify maybe... 5 crystals? I mean, like, I saw these rings with crystals that were carved to a point, and I thought: "Ooh 😺 That would be handy for my craft... Well, it's not clear quartz, so I don't know what I'm going to do with it 🙀" . . . Ya know what? I need to get together an actual Book of Shadows 😅 I mean, I have crystal info on my phone, but I don't like using data unless it's SUPER important.

Could someone direct me?

I have a stone I was given that I cannot identify on my own and I want to know for sure what it is before I use it for crafting. Mostly because I want to turn it into a pendant with a sleepy little dragon curled around it and I don't want it melting or shattering in the oven.
