I want to make sure that any young high schooler understands that they don’t have to have their college applications and all of that stuff done during their junior year. I love the gang but they are wrong about this. As someone who literally graduated early I did not have any of my applications done until my senior year and I do not know a single person that did. You should make sure you are taking your classes seriously and start beefing up your extra curriculars and do your college essay. Also during your junior year maybe check out a couple of colleges that interest you and do some research especially during the summer. The mindset that everything has to be done in your junior year is unrealistic. No hate to the gang but I want to make sure that nobody gains unrealistic and unreasonable expectations for themselves and their goals. ❤️❤️❤️

18th April - 26 Days until Finals

I studied for about 1hr 30min. I went for a walk with my mom. I lost 6-0 to my little brother in monopoly deal :/ but it was fun. Overall, i'd say my day was productive.

I hv to get out more often cos i absolutely don't so that's my goal

What i did:

Learnt about theories of emotion, expressing emotion, stuff about autonomous nervous system, etc etc

Made questions/flashcards on those topics

According to Yerkes-Dodson's law, your performance increases with stress/anxiety but only up to a point. When your level of stress is too low or too high, your performance deteriorates.

So gentle reminder, don't stress out too much or..too little :)

Finished up some GOV work today and picked up some books yesterday! Things have been so wack, I’m getting closer to graduating in June and I’m scared!!! High school has been insane , and I have two college classes scheduled for the summer, which I’m so so excited about!! A Reminder To Those Who Need It.

I got this question a lot and I'm absolutely tired of hearing it...

"What are you doing in college?", "What are your plans after senior year?"

Like, I don't even know what I'm gonna do over the break or the next whole year, so, i thought maybe it's like this for everyone. People are expected to decide everything like it won't actually impact their life. Most of my class is damn sure about what they wanna do while me? I just wanna pass senior year with good grades and think about it slowly and with a clearer head.

For me, the main thing that matters is that i shouldn't regret taking something i don't like and I don't wanna rush the whole decision up. And i just got like such judgy eyes... ugh... Like, I don't know what i want... Why is that not okay nowadays? Why is taking time to figure it out not alright?

So, to everyone who's in a situation like me...

You don't have to have everything figured out, if you don't know what you're gonna do, that's completely fine. Take your time, it's not a race.

Honestly, it can be quite confusing and you may feel like you might be kinda lax about it but honestly, it's definitely okay :)

You're not obliged to rush your decisions just because another person has already made theirs.

Just wanted to say that... okay, bye.
