hey guys,

Today we are chatting about self love and self care! The past two years I have really tried to put myself first and take time out of my day to relax for 15-20 mins with no phone or apps and just lie on my bed and enjoy a sheet mask. Though it seems like a simple everyday thing it has made a real positive impact to me and forces me to slow down for a little bit. Such a simple idea and yet I think we forget to take a pause during the day for ourselves.

So today I wanted to show you 2 of my favourite sheet masks to use when I want to chill out. Starting with the Glamglow Bubble sheet cleansing face sheet mask , £8.00 . My sister in law got me this mask a while ago and I quickly became obsessed with it ever since. This mask is designed to give the skin a deep clean, detoxify the skin and leave you looking brightened and freshed. My skin always feels amazing and looks fresh when I use this mask. Though it is a little pricey the feeling it leaves my skin with is worth it to me personally.

Next up we have the Too Cool for School, Egg Cream Beauty Mask , £4.99. This face mask is designed for oily combo skin and is infused with albumen (egg white extract), which diminishes the look of pores, while vinegar extract clarifies and simultaneously eliminates topical skin bacteria. When I use this mask I feel the most difference in my skin and the appearance of my skin looks smoother and tighter in a way.

I love a little self pamper moment and I challenge you to lie on your bed for 15 - 20 mins with a sheet mask on and no phone or apps and see how you feel! As always all products mentioned in this blog post are linked above.

The mask contains 27 grams (0.95 oz) and is artificial fragrance-free.

The sheet mask is a naturally derived bamboo cellulose mask. It's designed to adhere closely to the lines in your face and is designed to maximize moisture to the skin. The mask has a good fit and I didn't need to adjust the eyes or mouth holes.

Recommended use is after washing your face, use toner to smooth skin texture. Apply the mask evenly over your face and leave it on for 10-20 minutes, then remove and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin for better absorption. After using, this mask is very impressive. The mask's material is very comfortable and absorbent as there's a lot of essence. There is kind of a sharp scent in this mask, I'd say it's probably from the essential oil in the ingredients, but as far as artificial fragrances, there are none. The ingredients are very refreshing and ideal for toning skin and adding needed hydration. There is one irritant in this mask, it's not at the top of the list but it's important to take note if you have sensitive skin. This mask imo, is like a shot or burst of pure hydration. My skin really drank everything in and it really added plumpness and soothed the redness in my cheeks. I'd recommend this to anyone really, unless you're very sensitive to essential oils.

What I like: this mask is so good, it's so hydrating and really high quality. It does feel like a pure burst of hydration and is very soothing and refreshing as well. I'd love to see them make a toner or serum with this type of formula. I didn't have a personal issue with any of the ingredients in this mask and really enjoyed my experience. What I don't like: there's one big irritant smack dab in the middle of the ingredient list and there's a bit of a sharp scent to the mask but I feel it tones itself down once it was out of the package.

Hi guys,

Every Christmas there is one present I always ask for and that is the Soap & Glory Mask Force™ 5 Piece Face Mask Set, £15.00. When it comes to Christmas in my family we don't really ask for big gifts but if we have little things we really like we ask because honestly my family are such good gift givers they get me things I love but wouldn't think to ask for myself.

Today we are focusing on Soap & Glory's skincare products so let me chat you through all the different masks you get in this iconic gift set. The first mask you get is the Speed Plump Face Mask which is a thirst-quenching mask that comes in two convenient pieces so you can fit it perfectly to your face. The mask is soaked with Hydrogel to leave your skin feeling fresh, hydrated, dewey and plump. It's such a refreshing mask to use I always end up repurchasing. Next up we have the Bright + Beautiful Face Mask. This mask focuses more on brightening up dull or tired skin to look more radiant and refreshed. I love using this mask when I look tired and need some life put back into my skin.

Now we have the What a Peeling Face Mask, this actually comes with 2 masks instead of 1 so it's the best value if you're picking one to buy. Unlike the other masks this mask is a peeling mask that helps to remove dirt and impurities as you peel it off. When you peel off this mask it feels utterly amazing and also like you have a new layer of skin on your face (apologies for the traumatising image there). Next up we have the Puffy Eye Attack Eye Masks. When you work a full time job masks like these are the only thing that makes your under eyes look bright and you have a functional sleeping pattern. These eye patches are made with "Botanical Peptides, clinically proven to reduce the appearance of dark circles and inflammation, and super-naturally good ingredients including hyper-hydrating Cucumber Fruit Juice and beautifully brightening Liquorice Root Extract, for smoother and more wide-awake looking eyes". Sounds crazy I know but my god they work like a charm!

Lastly we have the Pout About It Lip Mask. The mask is super hydrating and includes hyaluronic acid and coconut water to give you a hydrated perfect pout.
