Does anybody have a shiny alolan meowth or Persian I have been hatching eggs with the shiny charm and I have had no luck I would really appreciate it someone could help me find one, I don’t care if u gen it or anything I’ll give u just about any of my shinies or legends so if u find one message me or reblog this

#0053: Alolan Persian

Alolan Persian is mostly similar to Kantonian Persian, as they both have the same body, but there is one major difference between them, design-wise. Alolan Persian has a larger and more round head, and the jewel on its head is blue instead of red. Its fur is a bluish light gray color, its ears are a bluish dark gray color, and the insides of these are white. It also has three whiskers on each side of its face, a tail with a curled up tip, white teeth and claws, a dark bluish gray nose, and darker eyelids. This design is pretty funny to look at, yet it makes Persian look more like a housecat. Like its pre-evolution, its grayish palette gives it a mischievous vibe that I really like.

Shiny Alolan Persian is now mainly a pale blue color. While the outsides of its ears remain the same, the insides turn purple. Also, its eyelids turn purple as well. This shiny really feels like a Dark type Pokemon, and it even makes Persian look more like a dangerous wild cat. The blue and purple tones look great together, and the shiny blue jewel stands out next to the darker colors.

I produced this the stomach area is sloppy because I missed it on my first save of it and just quickly did that without patching it up because I think he is punchable.

So here is bennett fused with shiny alolan persian, its only shiny because blue was easier to use with the color replace tool than dealing with dark gray.

finished everything in the indigo disk now... overwhelmed with shiny hunting options lol

Every Single Starter... no eggs necessary... #i had both a litten and tepig outbreak the other day so i've crossed off both of those evolution lines #managed to get a minior despite the annoyances of it #and i got a couple galarian slowpoke so that family's done now too #i think my current plan is: get the duraludon line and one more applin so i'm caught up on gen 9 shinies #then get alolan diglett; dugtrio; muk; and exeggutor (which just leaves meowth; persian; and marowak to be hunted on 3ds) #and THEN go back to the 3ds for celebi; deoxys; type null line; poipole line; and probably jirachi before it's too late #and just check the outbreaks daily for starters and do those when they show up #also since i'm now out of new content to consume i'll be getting back to the 3d model stuff when i don't feel like shiny hunting lol #collector's almost done but there's some tweaks i wanna do on the mesh #and i need to figure out how to do them without making it so i have to redo the textures from scratch. lmao #the 3d modelling process for me is seriously like 70% troubleshooting because i'm just learning as i go gvfhjdvg

Pokemon: Shiny vs. Default, 0052-0053

Okay, we got a long one today, as we cover Meowth and one of its evolved forms, including Alolan, Galarian, and G-Max forms.

Meowth is one of those Pokemon that I like basically because of the anime. Game-wise it’s not really done much since Persian lost auto-crit Slash, but the anime one is iconic and we love that here.

We’ll start with the original, Kantonian Meowth.

And like a lot of other Pokemon in the “Iconic Mascot” category, Meowth’s shiny is kinda weaksauce. Paler fur and pink feet and tail-tip, ad I’ll be honest, I don’t like it. I think if they’d changed the body colour more, I’d be cool with it, but with just this... no, default wins.

Now for the sassy gay version, Alolan Meowth.

I love this fabulous little guy. He’s wonderful. As for the shiny, that’s more like it. I like the grey of the default colours, but the deep blue for the shiny looks great, as do the purple highlights. The outsides of the ears look a bit off, but I’m okay with that, giving this to the shiny.

Next up, the gremlin version, Galarian Meowth.

And the hits just keep a-comin’! One of the things I really like about alternate forms is when their shinies look like the original, and Galarian Meowth here does that. You love to see it. Shiny wins.

And the last Meowth today is the classic meme version, Long Meowth.

Anyway, as much as I love that we have Longcat in Pokemon form now, the shiny form is still less than amazing. It works a little better with the reddish tones of the Dynamax aura, but still, default wins.

It’s weird to do one of these where the base form is the one with the most variants. Still, we’re done with Meowth, onto Persian, starting with the Kantonian form.

Persian inherits Meowth’s shiny colours, but I think they work better here. With the pink limited to the ears, the pale fur makes it look more like the Pokemon’s inspiration, that being white fluffy cats stereotypically held by Bond villains and mob bosses. I’ll give this one to the shiny.

And finally today, we have Garfield Persian.

If Alolan Raichu was created by its intense love for pancakes, then clearly Alolan Persian is the product of lasagna. It’s the only explanation that makes sense. Anyway, love this goofy little guy. Like the Kantonian form, it inherits its base form’s shiny colours, and they one again work pretty well here. Going to overall call it for the shiny, for the same reasons as before.
