Ngl, Horizons is pretty much everything I wanted from a Pokemon anime.

Those not watching cuz no Ash are missing out. He's a nostalgic character for all of us and I get missing him/wanting him to return, but it doesn't hurt to give something new a try!

(By bound to its own story, I mean while it may use some SV characters, the kids aren't doing Gyms or really touching on any of SV's story beats like the school or the Raidons. It feels more like it's doing more of its own thing.)

Hoo boy...here I go.

We've had four female Pokémon characters with an Eevee they acquired during their run in the anime: May, Serena, Lana, and Chloe. I'm worried about Liko or Dot acquiring an Eevee in "Pokémon Horizons."

One of my friends on Discord, @johnnyd2, said if "Horizons" needs to do Eevee shilling, they could bring in Penny. A friend on Twitter also says that Eevee is popular among female fans in Japan...but I don't want my FC to be the resident Eevee girl. If Liko, Roy, or Dot don't acquire an Eevee, I may just give one to my FC.

They may be Shiny due to a preview image I saw on Twitter depicting a Shiny Eevee along with Ash and Pikachu. I hope it doesn't come to this, though.

before i officially had a pokemon game, i insisted on shiny hunting 'legitimately' on roms, even though the shiny pokemon i was finding were technically not 'real', because it just didnt feel meaningful to me if i cheated a shiny in. here is an image of my shiny chikorita, Citrus, and my shiny latias eating grass. she was of course named after the vampire slayer.

my first official pokemon game was pokemon moon on the 3ds. here were a couple that i apparently liked enough to draw.

i also eventually began hunting to make my rom shinies 'real', so here's Buffy again.

Trainer Frisby would like to Battle!

So I never participate in art challenges anywhere, but this month's theme on a Discord server was Pokemon, and to design yourself with a team you feel accurately represents you, aid I just HAD to jump into it. SO here's my gay AF team lol. All shiny minus Gothitelle because the shiny on that one is hideous. I'd say it's a nice mix of nerdy, spooky, whimsical, and a slight touch of bizarre.

Mind you, it was difficult to pick and choose, and with a time limit on the whole challenge I had to be quick, so I had to discard even some of my all time favorites such as Serperior, Cutiefly, Sewaddle, Sigilyph, Cofagrigus and even Drfiblim.

So they are all female minus the Espathra, because at that point I stopped caring about the genders of most if not all Pokemon. So my Flittle became a beautiful drag queen ostrich.

Minus Frisby, I decided to go with a dot art style of a specific region, to not only give it a more unique look, but also to not make them all glaringly distracting.
