Although I Have Not Set Foot On Skaia (As Evidenced By How Time Works), I Write To You Of A Fascinating Story The Tallmen Spoke Of.

For In Skaia, The Dungeon Is At The Center Of Their Lives; This Is Because For Such A Small Island, What Fortune Cannot Be Brought From The Sea Must Be Had From Deep Within The Earth.

They Say That A Scant Year After Its Discovery, A Dwarf Crawled From The Depths Of The Dungeon And Into The Light. They Spoke Of Many Things Which They Could Not Agree Upon; That His Beard Was Paper Thin And Torn Or Disappeared, That His Blood Burned Upon The Soil Where He Laid, That His Eyes Were The Color Of Metal Glowing Orange-Bright In The Forge Or That His Damned Eyes Were Hidden By A Blindfold. But All Agree Upon What He Did Next.

To All Who Ringed About The Dungeon Entrance, The Dwarf Declared A Bounty: To He Who Defeated The Wilder Wizard, He Would Gift An Unbreakable Sword, And He Whom Wielded The Sword Would Know Riches Beyond Imagination.

Again, The Tallmen Disagreed On The Thereafter. Some Say He Died Upon The Spot. Others Say That His Body Faded, Leaving Only A Thousand Of His Voices Behind. They Say He Was A Prince Or A Bladesmith Or A Liar

And One Even Said He Still Lives Upon The Island. They Say That After That Day, He Spoke No More. He Merely Exists, A Living Ghost Haunting Tombs Of Burning Krypton And Desiring Nothing More.

It Is All So Very Interesting That I Had To Write It All Down For You To Read! It Truly Makes One Feel As Though They Are Walking Into A Storybook. It May Be Strange To Say, But Only Now Does It Feel As Though I Am About To Go On Some Grand Adventure!

I Do Wish The Tallmen Were More Consistent With Their Stories, Though. It Truly Was Far Too Much Information To Keep Straight.

I Believe Now I Had Better Beg The Wind Spirit To Send This Letter Too. I Know, It Is Not Very Elvish To Indulge In Such Gnomish Habits Of Personalization; However, It Did So Seem To Have A Temper...
