i really think having an emotional connection is so important to bakugou sexually.

like, i think he has to be in the exact right mood in order to get off by himself at home alone. can't be too tired, can't be too stressed out, can't have too much on his mind regarding work or other things, and even if it's been a while and his body is sensitive and wanting for it—if his head is not right, he can sit there for hours and never reach his peak.

which is why i think ultimately he doesn't do it that often, because it pisses him off to waste the time and not find the release. makes him more agitated. i think porn for the most part doesn't help him because he's too picky, literature probably helps a bit more, but he's still picky, and his imagination can get him there, but his headspace has to be right.

i think he's slow to hands-on stuff, when your relationship starts, and you can tell he's going to be like that pretty quickly. he responds to your touch like it's an accident; you reach out to hold his hand and he pulls his back like your knuckles have knocked by chance, like you're too close. it's not meant to be a rejection of any kind, it's just—he doesn't want you to touch him if you don't want to. if you don't mean to.

but when he realizes that you mean to, that you want to—

it has him skyrocketing. surprises him terribly, the affect you have on his body, and how quickly, because not even he can always have that affect on his own body.

you reach up to push some hair out of his face and your fingers skirt his cheekbone and he feels like a stupid gross disgusting puddle of mush. you loop your arm through his and lean into him while you're walking and he feels like a prize, like he's yours and you're his and you want everybody to know and that gives him a rush of pride that makes his head woozy.

he's dropping you off at home after date number he-doesn't-know and you're staring up at him outside your front door and he knows he should kiss you so he does and his whole body lights up with a heat he doesn't recognize at all. just from that.

and then he finally gets it: that heart-aching, stomach turning, body shaking want he's only ever heard about, and now finally feels.

#sun protection #skincare #you don't even have to use a tanning bed or lay out in the sun or whatever #neither of my parents have ever intentionally tanned; they just seldom wore sunscreen for decades #and they've both had pre-cancerous cells chemically burned off their faces #no such thing as a safe tan in the long run. it's not that you should stress yourself out about it #but you SHOULD take reasonable precautions #(and yes dark-skinned people too. Black people tend to have worse outcomes with melanoma because doctors trained on light skin #may not catch it soon enough)#Everyone! Needs! Sun Protection!#It is not a frivolous beauty thing!

realistically, i know fur cannot tan. but in my heart i believe vasco would love to sunbathe and would develop an even warmer golden brown from it, while machete would turn pink-red from merely going outside for more than 10 minutes

#Vasco has that sunkissed aura to him and I'd love it if he was able to tan visibly #Machete is very sensitive to the sun and will burn if he's outside for too long on a sunny day #mostly on the spots where the fur is thinnest like his ears and snout #it's not like he combusts immediately but it's just easier for him to avoid the midday heat if he can #answered #anonymous #modern Machete knows that albinism comes with a significant risk of developing skin cancer and is used to taking preventative measures #it's a good thing he likes high coverage clothing #most dogs don't need sunscreen and being covered in fur complicates things but if he knows he'll be outdoors for longer than a brief moment #he will put some on his ears and nose to protect them

#finally got around to designing lucky and auggies ma and pa ^_^#parhelion means sun dog and is a light refraction phenomenon. eudora is the name of an ocean nereid hence the rain motif #it was hard balancing some of the parents traits so they show up somewhat evenly but- auggie inherited the flecks in eudoras hair #instead of raindrops she has stars. also takes after her with brown hair and cat ears #although its only brown until she swallows the star which changes her hair to pink and white. vincent also inherits that #but she got her dads blue eyes and lighter skin tone!!#lucky has a darker shade of parhelions hair + dog ears and tail but inherited eudoras brown eyes and darker skin #the green part is supposed to resemble a four leaf clover to mirror auggies star shaped bangs but he kinda looks like a carrot lol #very very happy with how these turned out!!!#i havent put this anywhere bc its not solid but if i had to give them a last name it would probably be byrd. the byrd family #my art #myart #my oc #oc #augusta #lucky #parhelion #eudora #eye contact #staring

The visible sunspots on Halsin's face; the texture and darkspots and disolouration; the defined nasolabial folds; the crows feet and the lifted bags forming under his eyes as the tissue weakens and shifts; the permanent worry lines on the forehead and creasing of the neck; the frown lines gathered at the brow and smile lines by the mouth, lips thinning as collagen depletes.

Skin that has been lived in and worn and used; signs of a long life. Signs of having lived and thrived and felt, in spite of it all.
