Slaine can't be burned but her clothes still can. If she damages property that wasn't assigned, she has to pay for it, but because she has to be provided clothing out of necessity/decency, burning her own is technically free game

Some more shots of my recent Sláine minis. In this lighting, I'm noticing some spots that need touching up, but still liking how they came out overall.

Got a new scanner and needed to get used to it. Soooo much faffing about with the contrast... It's nice that it's scanning with a lot more detail, but sometimes I just need the lineart without any of the remaining pencils underneath... Whatever, learning curves.
Thought this was a good idea and a cool match up. Big, angry Irish barbarian hero Slaine (of 2000AD fame. Go read The Horned God, it's a brilliant intro to the character and Simon Bisley's painted artwork is the best!) going up against the Predator, because why not? Also got Slaine's dwarven sidekick Ukko down there in the bottom left corner. Also because why not? Definitely need to work on my foliage a fair bit, but still!

Refreshed OCs from a story I wrote about 10 years ago that involved elemental powers and fighting shadow creatures
None of these guys are the main characters
Uria - Part of Linnea's specialized task force for eliminating Malum, constant use of his powers just in case
Slaine - Ex(?) pyromaniac on a leash to help Linnea's task force for a lighter sentence
Silas - Drama teacher, carries flares as he unfortunately attracts Malum, that's a mask tied behind his neck
Erick Nicchi - Died 5 years prior to story protecting his younger brother Kei
Karla Hasek - Ren's older sister who never believed in why Ren disappeared when they were younger

So, like many hobbyists, I've been a longtime GW Enjoyer because it's easy to find people to play games with. But, it'd be a shame to ignore so many cool miniatures and systems just because it's harder to get games in. So, the Shame Pile grows... ever so slightly (it's literally 9 character models, Howard Quartz included, a piece of scenery, and Volkhan's anvil)
Warlord's ABC Warriors game drew me in with its chunky, characterful sculpts and low model count. I love a skirmish game. Its compatibility with other games in their 2000 AD licensed range is also a huge plus, so you can play out crossover games with Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog (RIP), and I guess Slaíne too if you really want? I'm really only familiar with Judge Dredd, as tends to happen on this side of the ocean, but this has gotten me interested in exploring more of the 2000 AD strips.
Plus, Andy Chambers and Gav Thorpe designed the system, so as an Oldhammer fan, seeing all my favourite designers of the era popping up in Warlord design credits is delightful.
