they called. the episode. SLASH FICTION. those leviathan doppelgängers were out mugging for the camera on a mallory-n-mickey bonnie-n-clyde pumpkin-n-honeybunny crime spree... for the express purpose, not only of painting a target on the winchesters' backs, but of vilifying & embarrassing them to the world. and the show didn't even have the INTEGRITY to end that cold open of "sam" and "dean" shooting up a bank with a nice lingering shot of them tongue-kissing for the news cameras?!
commit to your own fucking BIT, spn. you gift-wrapped yourself an excuse to one-up the outrageousness of your previous wincest bait and then you walked away and blueballed us? do you just NOT FUCK now. is that it. is this the exact episode that clinched your terminal diagnosis of Does Not Fuck Disease.
you called it SLASH FICTION and i'm suing for breach of contract, because what is that title if not a threat/promise to show us your plausibly-deniable plot-device simulacra of the brothers winchester rounding third base just out of frame. kripke era would've done it, and called us slurs the whole time, and none of us to this day would be able to decide what kind of hate crime it was. but s7 apparently is full of COWARDS.
Technically speaking, Daria never did a gay episode, but her friendship with Jane was the kind that launched a thousand slash fictions. What's really interesting about the Daria/Jane relationship is them tagteaming Tom, who is a rather boring character that both girls inexplicably fall for. If you wanted, an interesting way to read their respective relationships with Tom is both of them having unresolved feelings for each other that they're projecting onto this otherwise unremarkable boy. That's what we argue in the latest Gayest Episode Ever.

What Harry really wants for his birthday is to be taken by surprise. On a dark night. In a remote corner of the heath.
Written for the @dirtythirtyfest
My god I finally finished the damn thing. 2AM posting, activate.
Not Particularly Threatening is an explicit Link/Sidon fanfiction that plays with power dynamics in a literal sense of the word. It clocks in at 8k words and, I hope, tries to maintain a balance of "horny" with "character examination." It's set within the canon of my other BOTW work, To Be Well, but doesn't require knowledge of that story to be enjoyed.
Link’s heart stutters in his chest, something new now awake within it. He does not have the slightest idea how to ask for what he wants, nor if Sidon will be offended if he does. This is the kind of thing he should wait on, bring up before the situation gets hot and heavy, something to be discussed with clear heads and full understanding. This is play that could cross lines. But Link has never been a planning type.
“Fine,” he starts. His fingers fumble over the signs: “I want—I want you to make me your prey.”
Other fun tags for this story include "FTM Link is non-op because I said so", "biting you biting you biting you", "Sidon But He Maybe Speaks a Little Too Formally But It's Fine", and "me needing to google if it's common for people to use sign language mid-sex (the answer was 'not really')."
Finally, a shout-out that I hope is okay (let me know if it's not and I'll remove it): this lovely art by @jibberjibbsart did a lot of the heavy lifting in terms of inspiration for this story. Go check them out!
Non-RPer: So let me get this straight, you've written platonic romance with someone before?
Me: Yes.
Non-RPer: you've written hetero sexually intimate romance with someone before?
Me: Yes.
Non-Rper: you've written gay sexually intimate romance with someone before?
Me: Yes.
Non-Rper: you've written sapphic sexually intimate romance with someone before?
Me: Yes.
Non-Rper: you've written queer sexually intimate romance with someone before, where on character was cisgender and the other person was gender fluid/trans/non-binary?
Me: I didn't know what genderfluid/trans/nonbinary was at the time, but yes, that was my character and yes, I did. Super sappy and super cute.
Non-Rper: -inhales- So...after all that you...Let me understand, after all that sexual romantic intimacy fiction....that you actually wrote...with someone...you're still....a....sexual?
Me: Yes.
Non-Rper: I don't get it. You've written smut.
Me: It's the thrill of the emotional and psychological buildup that gets you there and then maintaining it. I've also written a homosexual centuries connected, across life times, lost but then found love, non-sexual, super domestic-life romance too. It's the creative non-sexual intimacy we have the MOST fun with.
Non-Rper: And your writing partners...
Me: Oh I'm literary-ly married to them. Pun intended. :D
Crowley Tour: 30th April- 2nd May
7x06: Slash Fiction
7x22: There Will Be Blood
8x23: Sacrifice
ID: Three digital drawings, each comprised of a rough sketch of Crowley from an episode of Supernatural with a quote from the same episode and the title of the episode. The first sketch shows Crowley seated with a basket of muffins in his lap. The title reads "April 30th: 7x06 Slash Fiction" and the quote reads "I'm Crowley. I run hell." The second sketch shows Crowley looking up at the ceiling where part of a devil's trap is visible at the top of the image. The title reads "May 1st: 7x22 There Will Be Blood" and the quote reads "It's a good thing we got Crowley in our corner, right?". The third drawing shows Crowley from above. He is glancing behind him, with his hand held in front of himself, cupping a palmful of blood. The title reads "May 2nd: 8x23 Sacrifice" and the quote reads "I deserve to be loved.". End ID.
are you considering digitizing the zine you found? especially the things that haven't been archived, many of the links on the fanlore article are dead. i'm aware that it'd be an insane amount of work..
Hi anon!
I don’t really have the time to do that insane amount of work but I’m working on creating a list with decent working links (a combination of ao3 accounts, other archives, LJ and archived links still working). So far is going great, there is only one fic missing. If anyone is really interested I could digitize that one and share it. The list will be up soon.
Just checked the Salt and Light tag on AO3 and we've got people posting slash and E-rated fics. I'll be bumping up in priority adding everything from the tag compliant with the spirit of it to the Collection instead.
