My favorite character I've made was a Satyr Wizard who wanted to become the best merchant, and did good for a while. Until he learned Find Familiar. He cast the spell hoping he'd get a familiar that would be, you know, helpful in some capacity. Instead he got a seagull who constantly crashes into everything and does everything in its power to be covered in spices. He gets run out of every town he goes to because his familiar ruins everything. When it dies it forces itself back into existence by wasting a spell slpt, and it forcibly wrote Flock Of Familiars in his tome to summon his friends. My wizard had successfully stopped every attempt to summon the flock of seagull familiars. Roleplaying all of that is the most fun I've ever had roleplaying a character.

Oh, that sounds like a nightmare. I love it. Why does the seagull know Flock of Seagull Familiars.

Sirius had yet to fall asleep. For a while, he’d stayed awake to listen for Moony’s footsteps and the inevitable feeling of the mattress dipping beside him as Remus crawled his way into Sirius’ arms. Then, when it became very clear Remus was not going to be coming to bed any time soon, Sirius stayed awake simply because he couldn’t fall asleep. It’d been long enough that the steady breathing and heavy warmth of a body curled up against him at night was both comforting and needed to get any rest.
