Wait since the clearer scans came out its clear erens head is definitely not attached to the body do u think he just gave up regeneration ans will die in this state in the future, its a symbol that he is already lowkey dead or he still has a chance to look like a normal person?

ah yes i definitely noticed that his head wasn’t connected to his body, it’s just his spinal cord like within chapter 122

im sure he can regenerate, if you have the power to look at the future and the past im sure you can regenerate.

as for symbolism, eren somewhat reminds me of the hanged man tarot card. (im saying perhaps he is but not for sure, just my observation)

the card symbolises:

He is hanging upside-down, viewing the world from a completely different perspective, and his facial expression is calm and serene, suggesting that he is in this hanging position by his own choice

eren put himself in this position hence his clam expression in 131 like this card symbolises cause eren knows exactly what he’s doing. he had a different expectation of the outside world and it wasn’t met. which is why he is going through with the rumbling. eren’s contrast of a world of freedom is completely different as well, different from armins showing their differences in perspective.

The Hanged Man is the card of ultimate surrender, of being suspended in time and of martyrdom and sacrifice to the greater good.

eren is sacrificing himself but also the lives of others for a better world, a better world but by doing so he is also getting blood on his own hands just to get there and living with that alone is sacrifice to his own freedom and life.

The halo around the man's head symbolizes higher learning and enlightenment:

131’s panel of him looks as though he does have a halo, so i’m gonna run with it. eren has always been aware of events, past future and present. he knew everything that was happening, he understood it from the start while no one else knew. hence the ‘higher learning’ the higher knowledge of knowing exactly what’s going to happen.

it’s as if eren’s already a dead man inside. he embodies it— locked within his own will with no means of freedom. he desires freedom yet trapped himself.

Aaaay lads, it's ya girl, Sophie. Todays character is Mikasa Ackerman, the true Killer Queen of AOT. a/n: so i was told by a friend they liked individual tarot readings better than the group readings for these character love readings and that same friend is celebrating getting their title! so @cafedanslanuit​ congratulations!!! enjoy two posts about two characters you enjoy simping over. porco and one other that was harder to choose but i had fun pulling the cards and interpreting

porco has a love that is exciting as it is grounding. 

it moves fast and is passionate and he isn’t one to try and let a relationship go stale. his love is going to an amusement park and insisting you immediately seek out the most terrifying ride, dancing til dawn, and impromptu drives around the city with no immediate location in sight when he sees you’re having a bad day.

his temper can get the better of him from time to time, but there is usually truth in things he says and he tries to be a good source of input when you seek his advice or opinion or if he needs to call you out on something. though sometimes he might word things can come off the wrong way, he tries his hardest to be someone you can rely on in not just the good but bad times that every relationship inevitably goes through

even if it’s a love that only ends up being temporary, porco doesn’t half-ass anything and it shows in how he treats you and how he mentions you to others
