It's also there to dismantle traditional, western ideals of beauty. And the idea that women need to be hairless is rooted in sexism, racism and capitalism.

Getting involved in that and remind yourself that these beauty ideals are sexist and racist can help in the long run to build a thicker skin against any potential mocking. But I'd also hope that you have friends or will find friends who would not mock you for being attracted to body hair on women. Especially if you have queer friends they are probably more likely to accept or even agree to your taste in women.

For me it also really helped to go online where people had the same celebrity crushes as I did/do. There's plenty of people with the same taste and preferences. Society just doesn't like to talk about it. But if you look a little closer you'll see you're not the only one.

The following text contains "The Walking Dead" characters and it doesn't take place in a specific period of the TV serie.

Voices or groans? He couldn't tell from that distance.

Stopping to listen closely, James firstly noticed that those sounds came from where he had left Q some hours before.

It wasn't good.

The sound seemed steady, deep and continuous. It didn't change, like the sounds the deads made, but still it wasn't enough to decide whether it was a person or something else.

Moving slowly and cautiously, James hoped for the forest to hide him from whatever had found Q. He slid through the trees, stopping behind an enough thick one to listen better.

Still a steady and deep sound, nothing different. It was only when it became dangerously louder that James actually decided what it was.

- Oh, the little faggot is British -

A man, an adult, James noticed. The adrenaline ran through his veins not more than a few seconds after as he took the gun from the holster, trying to get closer without being seen.

Hidden by a tree, the agent was able to see the man who had talked: a tall, muscled man with shaved hair was standing in the middle of the spot in which James and Q had precariously camped, firmly pointing a gun at the quartermaster's temple. The last detail got the majority of the agent's attention.

Q had been forced to kneel down with both hands on his nape, wide green eyes circles by grey eye bags, still visible even now that he was staring at the ground.

- I've got no interest in hurting you - the quartermaster said, trying to sound sharp as always.

The man pressed the gun against Q's head with a rough movement, causing the quartermaster to hold his breath and squeeze his eyes.

- Shut up - the man replied, rudely.

From behind a tree, James tightened his grip on the gun, scanning the enemy to decide how to deal with him.

He clearly had had some kind of training, judging by his body and how he used and held the gun. Possibly some soldier or policeman.

James had dealed with worse in his life, but with an hostage it was different. Still, he couldn't leave Q there any longer.

- Is there someone else with you? - the man questioned, leaning his face closer to Q's.

From there, James could almost feel the quartermaster's deep breath as he attempted to talk.

- No, I... - he started.

- Bullshit - the man interrupted him.

The gun released a dull click and Q whined quietly as his breath became shaky.

- Who's here with you? - the man groaned.

James looked closely at Q, getting from his expression that he was going to lie again, he was going to protect him, and the agent knew it wasn't a good idea.

- I'm alone, I swear... - he answered, sounding scared this time.

There was only a loud and disappointed grumble from the man as he moved the gun away from the other's head, grabbing Q by the hair. The quartermaster whined louder as he was dragged to the ground like trash, the man's grip still firmly pulling his curls.

The scene was enough to get James to emerge from his hideout, the Walther readily pointed at the man's head.

- Get your hands off of him - the agent demanded, immediately gaining his enemy's attention.

His senses, sharpened by the adrenaline, were able to feel Q's breath stopping as the man pulled his hair to get him to sit down, while turning towards James.

- So, here's your friend - the man said, looking at Q with a disturbing smile.

The agent took a deep breath, steadily staring at the man, making sure he didn't dare to raise his gun again.

- I said: hands off of him - James repeated.

The man looked at him.

- What if I don't? - he asked.

- Then, I'll make sure he's the last thing on Earth you'll touch - the agent groaned.

James took a second to look at Q, noticing how the quartermaster desperately tried to keep his breath calm, but didn't seem to succeed.

Then, something else caught his attention: three figures, approaching them really quickly. Apparently they were running, so they were living beings, but not necessarily friendly.

- Shane, what's going on? - one of the figures asked.

He was the first to arrive, wearing what looked like a sheriff uniform.

- He's trying to kill me - Shane replied and still James didn't pull down the gun.

- And you're threatening my partner - the agent snapped in response.

Soon after, they were approached by an Asiatic man and a man carrying a crossbow, both staring at the scene with tensed muscles, perhaps deciding how to respond to all of that.

The only sound for a few seconds was another quiet whine from Q, as a consequence to Shane's grip tightening more on his hair.

- Hands off of him! - James demanded again, now making it sound like a real order.

As foreseeing a physical reaction from the agent, the sheriff got closer to Shane.

- You're scaring him - the man told him.

Shane froze but immediately turned to face the other, tugging Q while doing so.

- He might be dangerous, Rick- he protested.

- He's unarmed - Rick replied.

James sighed heavily, getting impatient and running on adrenaline, knowing how close he was to pull the trigger.

- Let him go, you're scaring him - Rick muttered, using such an authority to remind the agent of M.

The two man stared at eachother, Rick still recalling the authority of his demand and Shane looking like he was really far from obeying.

However, his fingers slowly untangled from Q's curls and the quartermaster immediately stood up with clumsy movements, approaching James like a scared child looking for refuge in a mother.

The agent wrapped an arm around the quartermaster's slender figure, protectively squeezing him against his left side.

- Are you okay? - he whispered, still staring at Shane.

Q let out a deep, shaking breath.

- Backup question? - he asked back.

There was no need to add anything.

With that simple, sarcastic answer, James slowly got Q to stand behind him, but keeping him enough close to still be able to hold him as he felt him shivering.

- Put the gun down: we won't hurt you - Rick calmly said.

James chuckled bitterly.

- You haven't given this impression so far - he snapped, his gaze still locked on Shane.

Rick nodded.

- I understand that you're...scared and trying to protect your partner, but you can trust us - he replied.

Analyzing the situation, there was a big chance that Shane wasn't the only one armed, which brought James in disvantage.

Needing to protect Q while being in minority, tired and starving wasn't good.

He needed to trust that man, willy-nilly.

With a silent sigh, James pulled the gun down, protectively shielding Q.

- Just know that if you touch him again, I'll consider myself authorized to kill you all - the agent snapped.
