I wonder how Kusuke felt about never being visited or even contacted by his family for 4 whole years. Then the first time they do its not even because they want to see him. It's because he's the only one who can fix Kusuo's limiters. His family hasnt seen him in 4 years and when they finally do its for Kusuo.
That must've hurt so bad. He already felt worthless compared to his brother, and now probably thinks he can't even win his parents' love. I wonder if that's part of the reason he ran away in the first place.
It's probably a big reason why he resents Kusuo so much. Kusuke clearly loves his brother and doesn't want to seriously harm him, but I think he part of him does want to hurt Kusuo a little out of anger and envy. He wants to win so badly because then maybe he will receive the same amount of affection Kusuo gets.
It's tragic because this is how Kusuke views his brother, when it's not the truth. Kusuo is also used by his parents to fix their problems and has his feelings ignored time and time again. He isn't being adored the way Kusuke thinks, but Kusuke doesn't see this and resents his brother for the perceived favoritism.
random hc but. crowley being a plague doctor in the 16th/17th century bc he's supposedly "tempting people into death" but he can never, ever bring himself to actually do that so he ends up soothing their pain as best as he can and comforting them in their last moments. one night, after he held a little girl's hand as she passed away, he sits down at the banks of the river thames, with his plague mask discarded on the dirt, and he starts out over the water with tears in his eyes, wondering what the fuck is actually the point? it's not the first time he's asked himself the question nor the first plague he witnessed but, here, now after personally witnessing hundreds of deaths every day, he really wonders what actually is the point of him? why does he exist and why should he keep existing. why does he get to live when so many others don't? how is that fair? how is any of it fair? that's how aziraphale finds him, as he just got back from an assignment somewhere or other and hears crowley is in town, so he discreetly looks for him and finds him there, sitting in the dirt, now with his head in his hands, his shoulders silently shaking and is obviously immediately worried but doesn't know how to comfort him or what's allowed so he just sits beside crowley and watches him try to pull himself together. aziraphale's heart breaks, he put what happened together from the mask and the robes and he obviously knows about the bubonic plague but was convinced it was hell's doing and couldn't have even imagined crowley was out there everyday, helping people under the guise of hurting them. is he surprised? no, of course not but it still hurts to see crowley like this. but he's afraid to cross their unspoken rules so he quietly waits crowley out. he watches the water and doesn't dare look at crowley as he lifts his head and takes a few shaky breaths in. after a few minutes of breathing, crowley croaks out "her name was mary" and nothing else, and aziraphale understands, god he understands. it's one of the things they never speak about after it happens but aziraphale can't forget the night he sat with crowley for hours, till the sun came up, as he cried about a death of one little girl. he holds it close to his chest and never, ever forgets.
haven't written as much as I wanted yesterday, but here's more of married buddie being silly on their wedding night lol (this is more or less right after the prev snippet)

He leans down to capture Buck’s lips with his own, in a deep and penetrating kiss, taking his time just licking into Buck’s mouth, tasting him, dragging it out as much as he can, hips moving away whenever Buck tries to grind up against him – when Buck catches onto that, he starts laughing again and pulls away as much as he can. “You’re the worst.”
“Is that how you’re gonna talk to your brand new husband? And on our wedding night?” Eddie raises an eyebrow, but can’t resist reaching one of his hands down Buck’s body to cup his dick through his underwear, thus releasing one of Buck’s hands. Buck’s triumphant exclamation turns into a moan real quick, when Eddie’s hand slips inside his underwear and strokes a few times, and then stops. “Careful or I’ll change my mind.” he teases, impressed with his own self-control, actually. He’s about ready to explode, craves to just devour Buck. They both know he’s joking, though, and no force imaginable would be able to get him off of his husband right now.
hi hello gals and gays. Here is a rare wav from me struggling with the flu. The virus has mainly been in my chest but my entire body is so wrecked I was able to induce super easily. No talking bc I’m literally unable to 😭 Do not listen if you can't stand harsh coughing because it gets a bit rough. If it sounds a bit weird the first half of the recording is from yesterday and the second half is from today, bc the coughing is so much worse in the second half lmao. Ok that's it thankkk you for feeding me so good lately tumblr love u all <3
also personal rant about ableism and intentional contagion in the comments :///
so like. how many times do you think smith has heard isami say he doesn’t trust bravern and then tried really hard to change that when he becomes bravern only to wind up with the same outcome every single time
[ID: three panels of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul over the course of a day. In the first one, Bruce has his cowl on but is sitting shirtless on their bed in the early dawn hours after getting severely injured on patrol the night before. Talia rushed to help him with his injuries as he started to talk about the burdens and trials of tomorrow—which caused Talia to caress his face and promise, “There will be time to worry of the future soon enough. But for now you must relax... You need comforting. I can give you all you need... And more.” Bruce admits, “Talia, you tempt me...”
In the second panel, it's the same day but they're dressed to go outside the ski resort they're taking refuge in. Talia is holding onto his arm as he was talking about the mission before he tells her, “But that's tomorrow. Tonight, well... First, dinner.” Talia smiles softly and prompts, “And then...?” Bruce responds, “Then we'll discuss that comforting you mentioned earlier.”
In the third panel, it's that night. They had dinner and dodged an assassination attempt, which caused Bruce to start to talk about the even bigger dangers that awaits them tomorrow. Talia gently tells him, “The moon is so beautiful, Bruce. Too beautiful to be wasted worrying.” They kiss in front of the moonlight and Talia reminds him, “We talked about comforting...” END ID]
Fortune Amidst Misfortune. my stringbean. big into lizards, if you couldn’t tell. I gave him a major facelift when downpour came out, but ive had him for years lol
Fortune is a rude-ass introvert, and is totally engrossed in his genetic experiments. If asked, he’d tell you that he thinks the local wildlife are ugly beasts, but he’s secretly a huge softy for ‘em and everyone can tell. He would watch the lil babies grow up through the overseers and just be so proud.
Eventually just watching was no longer enough, so he gave his puppet a big revamp, as seen above. lizard-taur-terator? Except he only has minimal knowledge of robo-body building, so it kinda sucks. Lots of little errors that start adding up, which means lots of maintenance, so that big socket in the back is for plugging himself back in occasionally (and it also functions as a weak spot :) ). And he did have to make some concessions when deciding to separate himself from his umbilical. He doesn’t have access to his extremely competent problem solving processes or the entire history of the world, among other things? But he does bring along his lucky 8 neurons. that’s probably enough i guess? Surely nothing bad will happen.
But hey, at least he can pet the animals now! He once raised an entire pack of genetically modified yellow lizards (in the name of science). After they passed, he decided (foolishly) to hybridize lizard and slugcat (again, in the name of science). The little beast continues to haunt him to this day, eating his brain cells and chewing through his wires, refusing to be trained unless there’s a reward in it for her. He named her Nips at Neurons, after the first thing she did when she escaped for the first time. He adores her.
i think im just gonna start blocking people that engage in flowey age discourse <3 im not in the fandom for petty drama about nothing im here for analysis and art and its really irritating to be looking for art and all there is is arguments. i love uty dearly but the sudden uptick in pointless arguments regarding floweys character is infuriating. why can't we talk about how well hes written and that hes an extremely good example of ptsd why must we argue. if u disagree with something block and move on dont act like children
