Look I love Edgeworth to death, ok? He has a fun dynamic with a lot of different characters and I think his relationship with Phoenix is a core part of what makes Ace Attorney what it is.

But at the same time I'm so sick of him.

I'm sick of the writers bringing him back for no particular reason while they leave other underdeveloped characters gathering dust on the shelf. Edgeworth is great but his arc is over. His return in Dual Destinies just felt so shallow and pointless to me because it added nothing to the story and nothing to his character. He just showed up to flirt with Phoenix for 1 trial and then left.

If we have to bring prosecutors back I would much rather see Franziska struggling to maintain the incredibly high standards of her father's legacy or Klavier dealing with the aftermath of his brother's bullshit. Both of them were not nearly as fleshed out as Edgeworth AND they have significantly less screentime. Their arcs felt kind of inconclusive in their respective games and I'd love some closure for both of them.

Let Edgey rest, please, he deserves it.

Had like 6 essays all due within three days time and I knew I wouldn't be able to do it, so ever so begrudgingly I waddled to my brother with my head hung low, and asked him to use chat gtp to write my essays for me. And that fucker put on his visor reflective shades and stood up from his old rolly chair and said "I'll do it"

Anyway that's how I graduated and to this day I can't look my teacher in the eye without feeling extreme shame because he was so proud of me for graduating, but I gave him Texas Roadhouse Rolls so it's not that bad

Moral of the story, sometimes it's okay to take the easy way out, however you will constantly cringe and shame everytime you think about it
