The Bard’s Path has been restored!

A power interruption occurred a few weeks ago and it corrupted my file (The Bard path). 5k words gone. I had to write everything again and I just finished reviewing it. I uploaded the version to my Patreon, then release it in the public demo next week. Normally, I write the backbone (railroaded version) of the chapter before filling in the chunks that it’s missing. It’s faster but also causes more bugs due to my genius (I change my mind a lot and this causes the bugs).

I can now grieve the loss of the previous content.

Something about the places you've lived in so long that mentally you still live there well after you physically don't. It's been nearly four years since I moved out of the house, and three years since the rest of my family sold it off and moved out of town, but I just woke up from a dream where we were all living there again. But also Godzilla Minus One was playing.

It's not like I feel homesick about it anymore, and tbh I much prefer having the current distance from my parents, but it's just kinda interesting how so much about that place is just like, baked into my neural pathways or something. It's kinda nice in a weird way, that I'll still have some part of it with me, no matter where I may wind up in life.
