-- i'm going to keep this short because i'm too tired right now. this year has had its ups and downs, as always. all in all, it's been a pretty good 2023 for me, so i'm wishing 2024 will be as well. thank you to everyone who has been with me even when i haven't been around as much myself, who has supported me and my writing. i hope 2024 brings you happiness and peace!

what's happening with hld is what happens every 5 or 6 months with them: solos being pressed cause they're the biggest Louis acc across all platforms and biggest Harry acc on twitter. they bring back old internal fights between old members of a former UA, they accuse them of doing the exact same things all other UAs do, say they don't care about Louis or Harry (basically the same bs all big larrie accs get). i have no idea why Louis blocked them but after everything we've got about bbg/larry/doc/narratives it obviously could be part of that process cause all reasons people give make very little sense but he blocking cause some solo/anti/stalker told some lies could be true. people don't realize though that they promote Louis every week more than any other ua and tons more than lthq. solos are insanely stupid trying to take down or cancel a 700k account who tries to promote him. oh and obviously then they'll try to bully everyone who refuses to follow the toxic solo UAs that were till yesterday encouraging fans to donate money for mf billboards or telling them to leave nice comments on Sofies ig 🙄

Swordfighting. I love it so much and really need to get back in the habit of going to class more regularly.

The feeling of being warm in the cold. I love feeling warmth seep in to my fingers from a hot cider or sitting by a fire.

Great big thunderstorms. My hometown had lots of great big thunderstorms and then I moved somewhere where that doesn't happen and I miss them, even if now the change in pressure fucks with my knees real bad.

Board games! I just recently played some board games with friends and had so much fun. BL has consumed my every waking thought for so long it was nice to get back in to my first love.

I only now realized how long it’s been since my last post, only ‘cause I was thinking about how sad I was about the show being cancelled

I am so sorry, to all the SoC fans. It was a great adaptation, it filled the hearts of all of us fans who so long waited for its release, and all of the newer fans aswell, and it made us very happy. We waited for so long for it only for it to be abandoned by Netflix as it does with most of their best shows (if not all of them).

I love you all and I can only hope someone else picks it up:( love u guys xx.

2022 has been such a weird year. Like at this time last year, I never would have thought that such a large part of my life would be on this random little piece of the internet. I started my blog in April and now I have a little page filled with five hundred people and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so, so, soooo grateful for all of the friends I’ve met on here and all of the writers/creators that make low days much more bearable. I want to make this post a happy little place to appreciate everyone, so here.

Goodbye Generation 2

Generation 2 was loooong but also packed? I actually can’t believe I played this generation multiple times a week March - September 😳

It was a lot different since for the first time I played rotationally. Thankfully it never got boring with Yara jumping from one adventure to the next (possible only because of her amazing husband, Travis); my dear founder Isabel finding love and spending the rest of her time in the company of someone whom she truly loves and with Sofi starting again after a painful divorce and coming out of it stronger than ever thanks to her nephews. It was journey in every way~ (mini rant under the cut lol)

Yara completed 2 Aspirations, almost topped one career, mastered several skills, bought all required Satisfaction Reward Traits, completed 2 out of the 4 collections; she had time to accomplish her goals and those she did 💪

Well, almost all of them. She still has the biggest adventure to face: school 💀 And of course, Kian will start out on his own as well... or will he?

See you in Generation 3!

It did turn super tedious towards the end, though... I expected collecting to be time-consuming. I might have underestimated how much but still. What I didn’t expect is how lackluster the jungle exploring aspect of Jungle Adventure is. It got repetitive and I was annoyed and at the end it all felt meaningless somehow? Maybe because I played World Adventures from The Sims 3, that’s why I was frustrated and disappointed 🤔 One thing for sure, I do not look forward to the other JA aspiration to be played in Generation 4...

The double standards in this fandom are sometimes crazy! People both here (especially one “Larrie” blog) and on Twitter going crazy about how embarrassing Louis is and how stupid he is because of ONE like, and at the same time the same people are praising Harry and go all #freeharry when he’s modelling with his newest fake girlfriend in NY.

Sorry, but why is it, that people feel sorry for Harry and his closet, but Louis gets called out every time he tries to keep up the straight image. We haven’t have a stunt gf/date since the Sofie disaster and if some likes and follows on IG can keep it at that, could we then just happy and not call him out every time

Sorry for the rant! And I know you are not “guilty” in this, I just needed to get it out. I seriously feel sorry for Louis and lot of the time because his fans sometimes is so quick to stab him in the back!

Holaaaaa anon. im pretty sure I know the exact account you’re talking about hahaha. There are a couple like that which are pretty popular, and it’s very frustrating. Craaazy double standards go on between louis and harry, and I think a lot of it is because Harry’s got a glass closet going on. His actions look like he’s bashing at the door, trying to get out, being himself as much as he can and being loud. He’s all but confirmed he’s not straight, and we see him actively jumping around with the pride flag and being flamboyant and very touchy with men.

The uhhhh not hate, but frustration, towards louis, mostly comes from it appearing that he doesn’t even wanna come out. That he’s just not even trying anymore. That he’s not being loud, or true to himself, and he’s just doing the bare minimum for us, and for himself. That he’s too focused on appearing straight for his career now and is compliant with his forced closeting.

However, the lack of louis’ overt pushing, means a lack of stunts. The Big Gay War in 2015 is a great example. He was pushing soooooo hard, and got stuck with the most godawful stunt ever. Mind you, louis took a lot on his shoulders when it came to closeting during the 1d years. I’m absolutely not saying that Harry didn’t, but louis did more and more to give Harry a little more freedom every time. Again, not comparing, but stating a fact that S*mon had louis with his hands tied and louis wanted to protect his baby. He was treated very differently by S*mon, given harsh reprimands and gaslit and was bullied into doing it.

I think he has a bit of a different perspective on it because of that. Harry and Louis are both very different people with very different ways of dealing with their closet, and it’s silly to compare them though. And I think louis is happy where he is at the moment, and I don’t think he’ll come out without Harry. I just don’t see him doing it alone.

It comes down to everything from their fashion choices, to stage presence, to fan interactions, to interviews, to stunts, and they’re just not going to be loud in the same way. Not to mention, their teams are extremely different too. The Az*ffs looooooooove love love Harry being a trendsetter, and actively encourage (most of) it. He does still do shit to fight back, 100%, but the Harry styles brand now relies essentially on his glass closet and the ambiguity of his sexuality, ya know?

I do hope we get very loud larry content soon though. It does get frustrating. We’ve not even gotten a single interaction between them for years.

Anyway, they shouldn’t be compared. Louis loves Harry, Harry loves Louis, they’re together, they deal with their closets differently, they have different levels of fame and fan demographics and brands, and they’ll come out when they can and are ready, and that’s the end of that.

hii! i saw both of ur posts and hopped immediately onto here lmao. (long rant alert)

about the concert guy situation, look it happened to me too but slightly different and here is my take/advice. you’re free to do the same or not, whatever helps you <3

so, i go to art college for film classes, but have many other careers in the same building. and there was an event made by music students, there i met a guy from a band. and like a textbook equation it went the same for me too. i like to believe that man, especially “guys”, have a really short span of attention and when you’re talking about something they like they immediately answer, like 1 minute to seconds. yet as soon as you change the subject to anything else they disappear and answer in 2/3 business days, sort of wanting to end the conversation.

it’s sad really, but most of the time they’re very self centered. they like the attention, being desired and then when they get bored they stop and leave you as a follower. it’s easier for them and if he had a gf, i think he would straight up not accepted giving you his ig because the intent behind it is obvious. my advice? either block him or unfollow, if he stills follows you then I’ll leave it be but if he stops then virtually ditch his ass. you do you my babes. ilysm

I've been a larrie for past one and half years.. I believed nothing more than larry being true even after catching up on all their relationships/stunts or whatever.. may be because I've watched the 10 years worth of information in an hour video which compiled only best things happened between HL, I felt how can anything be true apart from them both being in relationship.. but then I've started following both HL and it makes it so hard to believe them being together especially this year.. I really have next level of respect for people who were there during hendall and still believed in larry and I can only imagine how it was when H sang still the one or released sweet creature/two ghosts(I don't care what anyone says, these are louis songs).. but but but whatever is happening now makes it hard to believe if they are together anymore.. H being linked with all these ladies everyday, brad sticking with H everywhere, louis with sofie(I really didn't care), but I've recently heard an audio of louis calling out larries and a text to a fan saying that larry is not true(why does he have comment anyway) and after watching AOTV I know it's not about larry.. but seeing harry soo closed off from others even with louis(I kind of always thought louis would drench liam with water but he just did a cute gesture of throwing water at harry but actually does not, so It makes me wonder that maybe harry had distanced himself from louis and he was not comfortable around Harry to do so).. so it just makes me question how can they still be together.. how are you all sure about this? When they are poles apart(I know about opposites attract and stuff) but they've different worlds now and everyone around also does not give anymore into this?? Sorry about the rant...

I think honestly H being linked with all of the various women / brad / etc just makes me believe in Larry that much more- the various linking of women/brad is sloppy at best, and is 100% clearly a PR stunt.

The Lou & Sofie thing was just hilarious to me- he didn't look like he wanted to be there, and then after literally 1 pap walk, there was just nothing. Not to mention Sofie having a pinterest board of rockstar girlfriend stuff? Again, sloppy PR stunt at best.

I don't know why we thought we would get a ton of Larry content from AOTV- I personally don't think that's how Larry would choose to come out, and if that's not how they're going to come out, then they can't just include a bunch of Larry content in the film? We did get the scene from right before they last performed as a group- H kept looking at him, and then hugged him.

I think surface level, of course Lou and H look like completely different people- and yet, when you listen to what they say in interviews, they really have so many of the same values, and both often reference a "friend" introducing them to certain things.

As H says, everything we see is work- we see maybe 1% of their day to day lives, and we have no idea how they spend their free time- so to say they have different worlds, is purely basing it off of the little bit that we see from them.
