Some more Dragonriders designs! I've stopped with full humans, and have lent into human/magical being hybrids, with Sparky (the kid that's talking to a fish next to Jade) being the exception as he's part Gillman, part Mermaid. Added the other finished Dragonriders to showcase how much variety I'm going with.

From now on, each of these guys will have Skylanders dragons as partners - mainly because besides the kids in Enter the Dragonfly, there's not really much variety of potential hatchmates for Spyro. I honestly don't believe Spyro's the only young dragon, and I feel it would be nice to have some characters that aren't going to be used ever again be part of Spyro's Year of the Dragon hatch. As such, I have characters who are also the Dragonriders of those guys. As well as OC dragons that Ii had kept on the back burner for a while.

I'll have to make a compilation of these guys down the line, as I feel it'll be long-winded if I keep on with this set of pics. XD

I was obsessed with The Legend of Spyro games as a kid, and with Cynder in particular. So much so that I taught myself Blender after school so that I could make a fan game. It never got far, but it did get a significant amount of attention on Deviantart back in the day, and it's what eventually got me into my university of choice! I actually found some of the old files from the project a while ago and decided to do some art in my updated art style as a bit of a throwback and a gift to my younger self.

Ummmm posts some of my Spyro ocs <3

I have my own Spyro story (or really more of a game idea) and I call it Spyro: The Shattered Realms. Basically Spyro goes to another dragon realm where all the dragons have different elements in each world and helps stop the crystal corruption spreading across the lands. There are 6 worlds (5 dragons worlds and the boss world), and in each one a new dragon friend teaches Spyro a new ability based around a certain element.

Anyways here are the first three dragons. I'm hoping to do the other two, then a Spyro, Cynder, and Malefor design. We shall see if that comes to pass.

while on the topic of spyro, i was really into the legend of spyro when i was 13 and made several OCs for it. looking back on them recently, i decided to redesign/redraw some of them! the middle and bottom ones are named aries and feng. as for the dragonflies, i never named them, but they were supposed to be concepts for one character. i like both though, so they are probably going to be relatives or something.
