Honestly I love both dynamics. I mean omega Stephen is a pretty compelling story on its own, with or without any alpha involved. A fiercely intelligent omega from the countryside with ambitious big city dreams? Hell yes please. And then actually fighting and striving to be at the top of his game? Only to have a massive fall from grace? 😭 And to find love with a kind alpha who rescues him from getting jumped and mugged? *swoon*

Wait a second. What if the Avengers met Karl first. Absolutely terrifying sorcerer who informs them that his husband is the single most powerful sorcerer in existence. Words punctuated with a toothy smile. The Avengers proceeding to spend months working only with Karl. No need to bother the sorcerer supreme with our tiny issues. But then finally being dragged by Karl to a meeting with Stephen because of some mistake/faux pas. Practically wetting themselves as they wait for the Sorcerer Supreme. If Karl was scary just how terrifing must his husband be. And then Stephen walks out of his study followed by several butterflies, one of which lands in his hair, and greets Karl with cheery kiss on the cheek before politely asking for an explanation of what had happened.

okay so: DS Gen fic - generally very readable! Like there’s not A Lot of it (it’s gen fic, but still) and I actually found one curtainfic about cooking that was very cute and didn’t make me want to throw a spatula (normally Stephen + cooking is for some reason one of the places where everyone gets out their clownshoes like ... please don’t.) and now I found a past-Stordo fic that involves texting (bad, autocorrect-ness riddled texting) and I Feel Seen.

Perfection my dear Nonny. True perfection ^^ Stephen being a Mordo stan and absolutely adoring him is something I can fully subscribe to. It’s just really sweet to think of Stephen bringing up Mordo randomly during conversations. Like he could be having coffee with Christine and suddenly he’s like “I bet Karl would love this place, it’s got that old school coffee house vibe to it. But he prefers tea you know. He even grew his own tea leaves one time but....” And he just from one story about Karl to another. To the point where Christine feels like she actually knows Karl now from all the things Stephen shared about him.

I’m also a fan of the headcanon others shared about Christine and Karl immediately hitting it off as friends. They’re very similiar tbh. Each dedicated to their calling. Both extremely compassionate, even towards people who hurt them. They both deserve the world and more.
