This relatively modern Tibetan stupa shape has eight versions, each presenting one of the eight stages of the Buddha’s life and path. The Tashi Gomang Stupa is known as ‘Stupa of Many Auspicious Doors,’ representing the Buddha’s first teachings at Deer Park in Sarnath, revealing the truth of suffering, the cause of suffering and the skillful means to bring about the cessation of suffering. This type of stupa emphasizes the many ways in which the practice of the Dharma teachings can be of benefit in gaining clarity and stability in one’s life. Located high above the San Luis Valley with a spectacular view of several distant mountain ranges.

Borobudur Temple, Central Java, Indonesia
References: Google Maps, Borobudur was Built Algorithmically by Hokky Situngkir (Dept. Computational Sociology, Bandung Fe Institute Center for Complexity, Surya University)
“The mathematical study for Borobudur’s architectural design has once related to answer the question about the metric system used by ancient Javanese to build such giant buildings with good measurement. While the anthropological revealed that Javanese used tala system (metric system with length measurement defined as the length of a human face from the forehead's hairline to the tip of the chin or the distance from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the middle finger when both fingers are stretched at their maximum distance), the survey as elaborated in Atmadi (1988) showed there is a ratio used between parts of Borobudur. There is part of Head : Body: Foot (9 : 6 : 4) that is met in horizontal and vertical measurement of the temple.”

During your life you might meet many people and cultures who will try to discourage you away from your Buddhist path. But once you start to taste the fruits of your practice, you will be filled with so much unshakable faith and enthusiasm, that nothing can discourage you.
Always remember, that no matter how rough the surface of the ocean becomes, a great stillness can be found below.
Likewise, beneath the turbulence of your suffering and afflictive emotions, a vast expanse of peace and bliss awaits.

Stupa
