Yeah Hi there, I’m Noot. New(ish) to tumblr.

Currently in a (a hat in time) phase (again) so I finally decided I should share to the world the array of snatchers I have. (Yes. Very original with snatcher characters) who would’ve thought purple ghost noodles would’ve been the start of my tumble account? I’m already RUINED.

Naturally I’d just leave it at that and let everyone suffer in wondering who in the world ARE these snatchers, I suppose it’s only fair of me to explain them? At least introduce them to you, whomever may be reading this. We’ll start simple with the bright glowy flower boy. All the way on the left.

That’s Florent Snatcher. Florent for short.

He’s from a sorta private project au APIT (A Petal in time) that deals with hanahaki disease but with a twist! This mans has a disease, he spreads and infects people (can’t have anything nice in subcon). He’s generally a very sweet (trauma ridden) ghost. VERY DIFFERENT from canon snatcher or anything like that. He’s actually very nice, enjoys talking to people and is still HORRIBLY in love with Vanessa. Sucks she hates his guts (Soul mate reference)

Florent canonically floods his own forest with his tears. Mans cries a lot, okay? Flood warning.

The one all the way on the right is Oleander.

He was like at first an alternate timeline Florent that instead of the hanahaki forming from his love for Vanessa, he unlike Florent stopped loving Vanessa, thus he is not covered in doom flowers. But he’s an edgy ASSHOLE who wears killer eyeliner to hold together his broken non-existent ego.

Funfact! Oleander is just a feral Florent. He’s not special.

Now, the one in the middle is.. “ The Frost King “

Basically, I took the subcon story AND DESTROYED IT. Vanessa and Prince have swapped abilities. Prince having ice and Vanessa having Fire. Basically bad stuff happened, still haven’t decided how but mans has been battered, beaten and brain washed by Vanessa after getting locked in the cellar. Whodda thunk? Now he’s Vanessa “ Perfect Prince “. Heavy quote unquote. Mans froze over all of subcon. He’s just a frightened guard dog, that’s it, his entire personality.

I really screwed Frost Snatcher over. Basically it’s a “ Something’s wrong “ (Vanessa W) alternate timeline.

I guess that’s all. For now. I might actually die forever again. Or I might post more in the future. Who knows. All you have to know is I have snatchers who all cry when face to face with Vanessa. These men will break down crying at the mere thought of her. Trauma moment. Anyways I am logging off ( don’t delete my save file ) - Noot

hat in time au where at some point because od shattered time pieces or smth the world got. tattletale kalideoscoped where everything became a mirror/good timeline where no scary shit happened. the mafia never ravage mg’s home, the two directors are. married and make movies together, the prince and vanessa were happily married and long dead and subcon was never bombed and the snatcher was never made , and theres no risk of the alpine goats getting sick and scary and infected, but this is All bad in some way, so we have to go back to the future and ruin everything again

Okay so I just got Hollow Knight and I had to do this instead of my wip au. I got inspired by the Ahit Hollow Knight au. Doodledrawsthings' inspired me but apparently the au belongs to ask-zane-ze-medic.

Vanessa is the Collector, obviously, except she only keeps the Prince and everything related to him for herself while only imprisoning the Dwellers and hiding them so that nothing can come between her and the Prince. Hat Knight can find and free the Dwellers, after which they all go to little tree hollows in the abandoned Subcon forest.

Vanessa is also similar to the Mantis Traitor Lord in which she willingly gave herself up to the infection so she could gain the power she needs to keep her Prince for herself forever. After the Prince died, she used the Void to tether his ghost to the physical realm, but in doing so also accidentally did the same to some of the ghosts of the people she killed.

After the Vanessa boss fight, Hat Knight frees Snatcher and he, not knowing what else to do and being in an unstable state after being imprisoned for years, rips his husk off the wall and flees.

He is later found in the Subcon area trying to possess his own husk. However, before he died while imprisoned, the infection had started affecting him, and it lingered inside his husk after dying. Similar to the Broken Vessel, the infection takes over him, its effect only stenghtened by its promises of the strenght he needs so that nobody can ever imprison him again.

After the boss fight against him, Snatcher has a chance to get himself together and he eventually decides to take care of what is left of his people. He takes the role of the Grubfather and gives Hat Knight rewards for finding more Dwellers. Maybe there's also things you can do with the Dream nail maybe? So that's my concept for that part of the au. I took the liberty to give the Prince a slight redesign, hope that's okay.

In response to Hornet-Protector’s request to hear about Hat Knight, here we go!

So this au is not as thought out as Hollow Time. I have a lot of concepts about what’s gonna happen, but one thing for sure is that the infection is purple. Like the purple flowers in alpine skylines!

I had 3 ideas for a plot. The first is that Hat is a vessel who has to stop Mu who drank all the grape juice and has a lot of power now. The other is that Bow is a vessel and Hat is in the place of THK. And the final idea is that Mu is a vessel who was jealous of Hat becoming the pure vessel and wants to take her place. Bow would be Hornet in that au. For the final one you could switch Bow and Mu and it would still work.

I do have some ideas for Subcon. Vanessa’s mother tampered with the void a little too much, and as a result, her daughter was born with void powers (as opposed to ice powers). Vanessa got corrupted by the void, and the Prince was nearly erased by it but there was still an imprint of him left. You know what happens to him then.

Also broken vessel is Moonjumper. Whose the puppeteer now.

subcon infection au where everyone gets affected and i mean everyone. At least, those in the base game for the time being.

The Infection puts them in one of the following categories: - Bug  - Plant  - Statue - Spirit (Fire, Dweller, Subconite)

Snatcher (or stagcher) gets nerfed and is placed in the plant category. He’s still got most of his abilities, though they’re becoming plant-themed and almost unpredictable to do.

He’s forced to come to terms that he’s not really in control this time, and also has to face the past. Flowers are partly the reason for his demise, after all.

its still a wip but basically its an au/fic idea where grooves accidentally goes back in time in subcon, when queen vanessa and the prince are still human

grooves ends up becoming vanessa’s advisor after she claims the old one disappeared under mysterious circumstances

‘you’re from the moon? oh wow, I knew someone who was obsessed with the moon, it sure is a shame you couldn’t meet him’

he just. becomes her common sense filter but she doesnt listen, especially when it has to do with the prince

grooves has no idea how to get back to his timeline (deathwish creating so many time rifts maybe)

he starts finding out who this old advisor is and the prince’s identity

when that Incident with the prince happens, he’s pretty much in ground zero of vanessa’s corruption magic and it starts to infect him too

meanwhile hat kid, snatcher and conductor are freaking out trying to find grooves in the time rift which is starting to fall apart (hat kids an expert in this but the rest aren’t and there’s a high chance theyll all just die there oops)
