You finally arrived to the liar after your long 12 hour shift at the diner. You taken out your headphones, pausing your favorite song; Happiness by Red Velvet. You assumed that Leonardo, your boyfriend, was meditating. So, you walk to his room, plopping down on his bed with a grunt. Your feet were killing you!

After a while of waiting, Leonardo walks in, not noticing you under his blankets. He was humming such a familiar melody. Was that--? “La la la la la la! Happiness!” You squeal, sitting up from under the covers. 

Leonardo jumps, “Ah!” He places a hand on his chest. “Y/N! I-” he tries to explain himself. He usually shrugged off your music and preferred other genres than others.

“SHINE ON ME! SHINE ON ME!” Mikey bursts in singing, starting to dance to the song that he heard from outside of his older brother’s song. 

“I never knew you liked Red Velvet~” You teased your boyfriend with a smirk.

He chuckled, shrugging. “I guess I do now.”

You were playing loud kpop music throughout your apartment complex as you cleaned, your boyfriend Raph helped you move the bigger things around while you rearranged everything. 

You finished a while ago, now laying back against your giant of a boyfriend, scrolling through your phone. He was watching you as you almost lull yourself to sleep until you heard;

What humming was that? Raph was humming? You stayed silent as you listen to the melody he was humming softly.  “Are you humming Dance The Night Away by Twice?” You asked, peering up at him. He knew how much you loved Twice. Korea’s most precious girl group.

“Wh- What?!” Raph stammered. He was sure that you did not hear him! He grumbled, stopping when you give him a small peck to the cheek. 

“It’s cute big Red.” You coo to him.

It was late. 4 am to be exact and your boyfriend, Donnie hasn’t slept due to the research he was doing on the ooze. You had one headphone in blasting Sunmi and her song SIREN. You loved her work and every song she has preformed. 

You watched Donnie, slowly falling asleep against his desk. Your eyes shoot wide open as you hear Donnie hum SIREN...

“Are you-”

“No, it’s just catchy.” Donnie cuts you off, obviously flushed. He thought you have fallen asleep! 

“It’s cute baby! You know i’m a huge fan of her. I’ll show you some of her songs later.”

“Yes, later, we both need sleep my princess.” He mumbled, caring you to bed.

You two start over, softly saying. “1, 2, 3, 4-” To help him figure out the beats. You groan again as Mikey tripped over his left over pizza. You give in and giggle as your boyfriend makes pouting faces towards your direction. 

“You’re a dork. We’ll try again after a break.”

Being an idol wasn’t easy especially for a foreigner like yourself. You had to fight tremendously hard for your place and even then you weren’t widely accepted amongst other idols. When you signed with BigHit 12 years ago you had spent six of those years in training in order to make it in this cruel world of perfection.

The hate started when you had first debuted under the company which was right around when BTS was rising in fame all over the world. Before that you had gotten some media coverage but the only claims were that you were a makeup artist or staff member. But when it was announced that you were among a solo debut as the first female artist under their company things went two ways. There were people who supported you from the beginning and then there were those who absolutely despised you. BTS and a majority of their fans were part of the long list which included other idol groups and their fan bases.

What confused you the most was the fact that you had done absolutely nothing to any of them, you hadn’t even come out to say anything about yourself. You hadn’t given them a reason to hate you but they still found the smallest things to make you break down. The BTS members themselves wouldn’t speak to you but they’d glare at you, leave the room if you entered or refuse to enter if you were there.

It hurt but the hate only became more of a reason for you to push yourself and make them see who you really were. When BTS hit their peak of success their actions towards you has simmered down, they were simply too busy to care anymore. However there were idols and idol groups that absolutely loved you like: TXT, IU, Mamamoo, Eric Nam, Amber Liu, Taemin, Sunmi and KARD.

Not being completely hated and alone gave you a better feeling but the hate still got to you. Over the years you had grown your own fan base and gotten support from many companies that asked you to model for them. You weren’t as famous as BTS and you knew you’d never be but you were inching closer which they ans everyone else saw.

Bang PD was your number one supporter throughout the whole thing although he mentioned nothing to BTS to stop their anger towards you. That was completely fine with you, you were all adults and you could handle things on your own.

You grew your career by being your true self when even when the cameras were pointed at you. At your concerts you always made sure there was indifference between your fans. You’d proudly bring out a pride flag to spend a portion of your concerts thanking all those who were part of the community or being brave. The first time you had done that media outlets raced to ask you why you did, many claimed it to be an act for clout but you set those rumors straight very quickly.

“No, I’m not like other idols who want clout. I’m perfectly fine with losing or gaining fans with my actions no matter what they may be. I brought out the Pride Flag because in the world there is so much debate about love, sexual orientation and gender equality. Love isn’t a political debate it’s a human emotion, a pure one at that which I believe should be expressed however it may be and whoever it may be with. I will never discriminate anyone based on their personal decisions, you do you boo. It’s your body, your life so it must be your choice how you live it.” You answered matter of factly shocking everyone in the room including the interviewer and crew.

Since then you’ve had many more supporters and you’ve even used half of the concert funds to donate to several different charities for minorities of all kinds whether it be race, sexuality or victims of anything. A week ago you had won ‘Best Breakthrough Artist’ ‘Activist of the Year’ and ‘Inspiring Artist Award’ at the MAMA. You had also performed a solo song which you had been saving to slap ever Jeon in the face metaphorically.

Your song ‘Human’ which you preformed hit the top of the charts worldwide. It was about everyone who doubted you, who hated you for no reason, to everyone who was now your fan.

The next day you were back in your studio hard at work ignoring all the news articles, twitter feeds and conspiracy theories about you. Your new album which featured ‘Human’ was set to be released in a month so you were finishing up some last minute vocals and tracks before you headed over to the dance studio to practice your choreography.

Suddenly a knock at your studio door drew you from the depths of your focus. “Come in.” You said in a monotone reverting your focus back to the screen in front of you. You could hear the door open followed by several sets of footsteps before the door clicking closed shortly after.

“Y/n.” The the voice called, at the recognition of who the owner of that deep, sophisticated voice you froze instantly in fear. Slowly you turned to face him only to see all seven of them standing before you in your large studio. They were dressed casually but not slobby in stylish outfits mainly from designer brands so I guess it was the sloppiest you could get with Gucci on.

“What- what are you guys doing here?” You asked cautiously trying to avoid eye contact with all of them but it seemed to be getting harder and harder the longer they stood there. “We were about to get lunch and we were wondering if you wanted to come along?” Hoseok asked stumbling over his words slightly. You tilted your head in utter confusion, was this a joke? You’d never spoke to them much less eaten with them. “Why are you being so nice all of a sudden?” You questioned narrowing your eyes in suspicion at their actions. Why now? Was it because of your song? Did they finally get the massage after all these years?

“We- we wanted to apologize for how we’ve treated you. It was unprofessional and childish to do what we did and we cannot be sorry enough.” Jin explained bowing head in sorrow making the rest follow in suit. They were what now? Apologizing!? Your head spun a million miles an hour trying to come up with a valid response to their sudden apology.

“I have to agree, I gave you and all the other’s no reason to hate me. I never understood why or what I had done and I’m not going to lie, you guys were totally assholes.” You smiled at the end of your statement before continuing, “when your fans saw your dislike for me they too started hating me which took a toll on me. But the past is in the past, I’ll be willing to start over if you explain to them why you did it and that you came to me, not the other way around.”

“Oh my, y/n of course we will. I, we, are so sorry about everything and the truth is, we were terrified that you’d get the fame we had worked for since you signed under this company. It was an irrational fear that we shouldn’t have assumed from you, we are so sorry.” Taehyung said opening his arms hopefully. You smiled arising from your chair to enter his arms, the feeling you had longed for for so long was finally felt. One by one the others joined the hug, Jimin having to pull Yoongi in since he was still standing on the sidelines. It felt so nice to finally have a burden let off your chest, you knew why they did it and you could see why too. You would’ve done it too, maybe not for that long and not to the extreme, but you would’ve done it.

“I forgave you guys the second you entered my studio.”

Road to Kingdom Final Thoughts

I originally made a post before Road to Kingdom started on my opinions on each group so now I am making my final thoughts on each group.

<this will contain spoilers!!>

-Pentagon

-I had very high expectations for them

-But in my opinion they didn’t really meet them...

-I liked Pentagon for their brighter concepts so probably that’s the reason

-My favorite stage they did was their Sine/Spring Snow stage

-I cried watching it because of Jinho

-I also really liked their Very Good stage

-I am a Very Good enthusiast Very Good is one of my favorite songs of all time and Pentagon pulled it off perfectly

-Honestly even though they didn’t meet my expectations doesn’t mean they didn’t preform well

-I think all of their performances where top quality

-Although I didn’t really like the Kill This Love cover they did with ONF

-For what I saw either you love it or hate it (and I am one of the ones who hate it)

-Kill This Love is my least favorite BlackPink song but their is some parts of the song that I like but they changed/cut those parts out

-Overall Pentagon did a great job and hopefully they gain new universes out of it

-The Boyz

-After the second episode of Road to Kingdom aired I became a TheB

-No regrets and I recently bought their Bloom Bloom album

-I love each and every performance they did in rtk

-Danger is a masterpiece and maybe one of my favorite stages of all time

-I couldn’t stop watching it for weeks

-I also loved their Reveal Catching Fire stage it was jaw dropping each time they do something I kept thinking it can’t get any more crazy then this and the next second they surprise me again and again

-Their stage with Oneus was amazing Heroine is my favorite Sunmi song of all time

-Chanhee’s vocals really shined

-In my opinion they should have won the collaboration part of the competition but that’s my opinion 🙂

-Checkmate is an amazing song when I thought they couldn’t get anymore creative after Shangri-La Quasi una fantasia but I was proven wrong

-Rip Juyeon’s branch I didn’t even notice the mistake until someone pointed it out

-Also when I was watching the live stream for the last episode I had a mini heart attack when Sunwoo just fell off the stairs

-The Boyz really killed it they won 3 times in a row and they moved on to Kingdom!! 👏👏👏

-If they don’t gain a crazy amount of fans because of rtk something is wrong

-THE BOYZ WORLD DOMINATION

-Oneus

-I had pretty high expectations for them song wise because they have so many good songs

-I was a little disappointed with their Warriors Descendant stage it didn’t have the impact the other groups had sadly

-My favorite stage form them is definitely their Lit stage

-I felt like that stage was more way better then their MAMA stage

-I also really enjoyed their Be Mine stage

-And out of all the original songs they performed at the last episode on first listen Come Back Home was my favorite

-When watching rtk I realized that Oneus is one of those groups that have songs only made for Oneus but because they are like that I feel like when they cover songs it’s less powerful and doesn’t have the same effect

-Probably the reason why it doesn’t have the same effect is because the songs they cover weren’t able to show Oneus’s strengths

-Whoever makes Oneus’s songs really knows Oneus’s strengths

-Anyways Oneus has a very bright future so please support them!

-Golden Child

-I was VERY disappointed that they got eliminated first 😔

-Their Wannabe stage was my second favorite stage from that round

-Like Joochan freaking played a violin live isn’t that cool???!!!

-I still cannot find the reason why they where eliminated they should have moved on to the finals

-Because of rtk I have been addicted to some of their songs

-Jangjun single handily saving the rtk tense atmosphere but when he left uhhh it was sorta a mess

-I watched all the Jang Star videos on Dingo and he is so funny you should really watch them if you want a good laugh

-Jangjun is probably gonna be very popular with the korean public I can see him being a very successful comedian

-Anyways Golden Child deserves better TOO or Verivery should have been eliminated that round sorry

-Hope they can still walk their golden path to the successful future they are gonna have

-ONF

-I was blown away by them

-They really proved themselves to me

-I was first shocked with their Everybody stage

-Then now I can’t get the “neon nal salanghage doel geoya” out of my head

-That line slaps every time I watch that performance

-Also Yooa

-Their It’s Raining stage all I have to say is “wow”

-Their It’s Raining stage is my favorite ONF stage from rtk

-Even with my bias of The Boyz I feel like they deserved first place that round that performance was just amazing

-New World slapped tho

-When watching rtk I fell in love with Hyojin and E-tion’s vocals

-I really like ONF’s vocals and will keep supporting them!

-Verivery

-I wasn’t really a fan of their performance the first few rounds only after their gogobebe stage I started getting interested in them

-I personally wasn’t a fan of their Mansae cover

-I love Seventeen but the cover seemed all over the place

-I also wasn’t really a fan of their Photo stage

-But their gogobebe stage really caught my attention

-Tbh I think they should have gotten eliminated first instead of Golden Child

-My favorite stage by far from them was gogobebe and beautiful-x I can’t choose

-The ON cover was cool but not my style in my opinion they didn’t really add anything really special to it to make it their own

-But good job for them for surviving this long

-TOO

-In the beginning I was worried for them

-But their Rising Sun performance really made me question their debut date

-After Rising Sun I was expecting more from them but tbh their next stage was pretty boring to be

-I was worried for this exact thing to happen where they have to perform their own song but they just debuted so they can’t do much

-So I was sorta disappointed in that stage

-But can we talk about their cute interaction with GOT7

-I am an Ahgase and seeing that clip really warmed my heart

-I was sad they got eliminated on the round they performed Hard Carry

-At first I didn’t really like the cover but I kept watching it and I now really like the fact they changed it to their style and didn’t try to copy GOT7

-Good job TOO for your hard work!

Last thoughts: I am so glad I watched rtk because now I realize how much I love The Boyz. Rtk definitely started a huge standard on what we are gonna see on Kingdom.

Groups I think would go on Kingdom: MonstaX, Sf9, Stray Kids, Ateez, Astro, and Nu’est (if they are gonna ask a solo artist to join possibly Kang Daniel).

I am literally gonna pull my hair out when watching Kingdom. I am also worried for The Boyz because they just came out of rtk and Kingdom is in the same year. Also how Younghoon and Kevin have injuries so I hope they heal by the time Kingdom airs.

it had been ingenius of jonghyun -- his costume was one for the books. ( with mijoo along for the ride, she’d be there right alongside him right? ) when jonghyun had proposed to her at the beginning of the month to do matching costumes, mijoo had been skeptical.

for one: the costumes looked huge and suffocating. two: they were bears, covered from head to toe -- no one would recognize them. and three: the girls were thinking of doing a group costume, and if mijoo bailed, she’d feel eons of guilt.

there were many factors that questioned her decision -- that pulled her away from saying yes but the thought that so jisub would be there to see her in a bedazzled diaper when he had jokingly ( she still swears he wasn’t ) said all those months ago that he would put them into ones, was just something she couldn’t pass up. how could she not when it just seemed too good to be true.

and it wasn’t like mijoo was really aiming for the prize of best-dressed at the party.

for mijoo, the party was more like an excuse to get together with friends ( she had made a point to try to scare the shit out of sunmi and failed -- the creep factor was just a little much ) she hadn’t seen in a long time and hang out with her members without the pretense of schedules and songs they had preform and aching feet in heels that were much too high that she got an acrophobia in them.

no, samsung wonderland gave her all these opportunities and more and she couldn’t wait.

she arrives with her group, dashing from them once they’re inside to hide jonghyun so they could take pictures together because who was she -- monomi -- without her momokuma. ( she still didn’t quite get the reference but the costumes, in all their oversized teddy glory, were just too cute to pass up )

sure, she was toppling everything and everyone over but who cared -- mijoo was having a little  too much fun with the anonymity behind her monomi head. maybe this would be her best halloween yet!

Feb. Eval - Heroine - Sunmi

Bambam had gone through a few songs before he settled on Heroine. And after that he had gone through a few ideas of how he wanted to preform it. Then he thought about asking a few to preform with them in but the end he deiced to do it by himself. When his name was called he hurriedly rushed to grab a chair and brought in the center of the room.

Once it was center, he walked away and nodded for the music to start. As the opening notes rang out he walked over slowly and took his seat.

My body and head are spinning How are you feeling now? We are like a magnet We hug and push aside You make me crazy And out of my senses Yes, you may know that You make me out of my mind

He was a rapper, he had always prided himself on his dancing and his rapping but today he planned on showing his dancing as well as his vocals. The song was smooth and sexy so he aimed to bring that completely. His voice came out soft and wispy and he knew that he would do good, if not great.

Slowly he walked behind the chair and did the moves with his best come wither look. His focus never left the coaches face and he didn't hold back on the sexy expressions. He wanted to preform the song just as good as the original singer. He also didn't didn't bother to change the lyrics, smirking when he sang out the words naughty girl.

He was standing on top of the chair at this point and instead of being lifted down, he carefully stepped. They were about to head into the chorus and he was more than ready.

Swinging his arms left to right he walked forward a little. Then he dropped down, dong the floor move in the dance. There was something very him about the song, he could relate to the lyrics a little but it was more so the music itself.

Then he went all out during the chorus, giving energy to the simplest of moves. So far his breathing had been stable and he manged to continue singing without any huge gaps. He could only hope the coaches were not only impressed by his performance but his song choice. No one could wipe the smile off his face as he preformed.

It hadn't taken long to learn the dance for the song, he had put more effort into learning how to sing it the right way. It had to be breathy and sexy, almost whispering because it added to the feel of the song. There was no one to bring the chair forward so he counted his steps backwards and slowly sat down. The hardest part had been the small couple dance in the song. Simply because he had no one to do it with but it didn't stop him. Instead he turned to the side and moved forward as if he had a partner. When his hands were suppose to go around someone, he simply wrapped them around himself and ran his hands down his own face.

The song went into the pre-chorus once again and this time Bambam snapped. Each more had a bit more passion than the last and he amped up the looks he gave even more. He did what he did best in dancing and put fourth his best when it came to his singing.

The music signaled that the end of the song was coming and he stood in the center for a while before backing up once more to sit in the chair. His stare never wavered as he looked at the coaches and it didn't even after he sang the last line.

             Warehouse

Another day, another neutral territory. After the fire, the dynamics of the gangs have changed drastically. Some gangs had to appoint new leaders, others had to recruit completely new members, some had to do both. None of the Core five were ever the same. These changes prompted a meeting between all five gangs. Territory had to be redistributed, negotiations and treaties had to be agreed upon, pacts were made and had to be discussed. It was a lot for them all. 

They found another warehouse, one on the very outskirts of Seoul. No CCTV, no surrounding buildings. If anyone attempted to tamper with the building, they’d easily be caught through any of the buildings windows. Guards were present around the entrances and exits, and all exits were made known in case there was another fire.   

However, unbeknownst to the gang members, another round of moles have smuggled the police their information and they are preforming a full on raid of the warehouse.  It is imperative that all gang members make it out of the warehouse safe and sound with out attracting the police’s attention.

The Basics

This will be a paired event!

You will have TWO DAYS, beginning on Saturday, 2/4/17, and ending on Sunday, 2/6/17 to escape the warehouse with your partner(s).

Your character is allowed to be caught by the police! If caught, they will be detained in the police station for 24 Hours (if they say nothing.)

After part one of the event, any other character will be allowed to visit a detained character until any updates regarding your characters gang are posted. (There will be further explanation to this posted on Saturday night.)

Because driving would attract police attention, you will not be allowed to drive home from Seoul. You and your members will have to walk through woods, bushes and any other possible terrains to get back to Seoul.

No members have any knowledge about the moles or the upcoming police raid.

For clarity, This part of the event will take place between 7:00PM Feb 5th KST to 12:00AM Feb 6th KST.

Today is a day of pre-plotting, so we kindly ask that any big plots (deaths, getting arrested for serious matters such as killing a cop or anything that might seem big.)  are discussed with the main. If the person is caught because they shot at a cop, their holding time at the police station could be elongated and possibly exclude the character from the second part of the event, so just be sure to run it across with us so that doesn’t happen!

The second part of the event will be posted Sunday night at 11:59 pm EST.
