I absolutely love the concept of Clark being a Bruce wayne/Batman shipper

Like he’s so into it that he made socials dedicated to it. he’ll be fangirling with other fellow Bruceman ships about it every time he’s online.

And one of the main reasons he’s even a fan is because he has a crush on both of them.

He fell for Batman at first and when he first stumbled upon the ship he was a little negative about it because why does a ditsy himbo billionaire get to be paired with Batman but not Superman? (Superbat wasn’t as big) but when he started doing research on Bruce Wayne the more he dug up that he has been donating to charity and helping Gotham silently. And BOOM he also falls for Bruce Wayne.

Now he’s tied between the two because at one hand he’s best friends and coworkers with Batman and it seemed like he could have a chance but at the other hand Bruce Wayne has been flirting with him on every interview they do and he falls for it every time.

But that’s why he’s a Bruceman shipper. If he can’t have either or both then maybe it would be hot if both his crushes end up together. They seem cute together.

Bonus: When Clark finds out Bruce Wayne and Batman are the same he’s devastated.

Clark “I am so dead” Kent: wdym my two favorite people that I ship are actually just one person? does this mean I get a chance? No wait. They can’t be the same person they have too different personalities. DOES THIS MEAN I’VE BEEN SHIPPING SELFCEST?! IF BATMAN— BRUCE FINDS OUT HOW WILL HE EVER FORGIVE ME?!?!

Ok ok, but hear me out on a Superbat AU

Clark is 14 when Luthor learns the truth about his origin. He goes missing 3 days after school finishes for the summer. His parents search for him relentlessly, for years they beg for the return of their son. But despite the search parties and the press conferences no one comes forward and Clark is never found. A missing persons case that haunts Smallville for the years to come.

On the eve of Clark's 18th birthday Superman appears. Hovering over Metropolis in a pitch black uniform. Martha recognizes her son instantly, and watches in horror as he sweeps through the streets with a single minded focus. He returns to Lexcorp with a thief clutched in one hand and the same eerily blank face he'd had in every clip that had been captured of him.

Luthor heralded him as a superhero, thanked him publicly for returning the thief to Lexcorp to be prosecuted. No one notices when the thief disappears, and though they ask where the Superman goes when he isn't hanging in the sky above Metropolis there is no one who seems to have an answer.

Lexcorp tells the world that they should trust this being that has come to help. That he has shown only kindness towards them. That if he goes after someone, it is only because they must have done something terrible to deserve it.

In Metropolis Superman haunts the golden city, hangs in the air high above them and listens to Luthors orders in his ears. He has never wanted to hurt someone, but he has no choice. He is Luthor's favorite weapon, this he knows. And if he strays, Luthor will know.

Across the bay a Court stirs, they have always worked from the shadows. Hidden in Gothams walls and with their hands in every one of Gothams pots. Metropolis has a hero hanging high above their head, but the Court has done business with the man who pulls it's strings and they believe this is something they can work together on.

So the Court calls for a meeting and they plot their own path.

3 months after Superman debuts the Voice of the Court meets with Lex Luthor and offers a deal.

A decade before Superman debuts the Waynes die, their son is never found. It is a tragedy that haunts Gotham for a decade. It is a warning. The Wayne family has long stood apart from the Court, but Thomas and Martha got in the way. Thomas and Martha hampered the Court's goals, and so they had to go. Their son was a warning.

And now, their son is the warning.

The Talon stalking from shadowed perch. The greatest the Court has ever produced. And so they send their greatest weapon alongside the Voice of the Court and a deal is struck.

Superman meets a Talon. They see another made a weapon, and they begin to wonder.

Must they always be weapons?

another superbat concept I can’t stop thinking about

Clark writing a novel but his main lead is inspired (or literally is) by Batman.

He’s writing a mlm romance novel and the main lead is literally just Batman with a made up name. like the characterization, the attitude, the kindness, its all very much Batman. then the main lead’s love interest is literally Bruce Wayne. Clark is not aware that he’s straight up writing Bruceman fanfic.

And Bruce Wayne who stumbled upon this novel made by an anonymous writer wondering how the fuck does this person know so much about Batman??? where are they getting this very true facts about Batman?? Is there a mole in the Justice League? Bruce is aware of the Bruceman fandom and all the other shipping culture in the Justice League fandom.. so does this romance novel writer KNOW they’re actually just writing Bruceman fanfic? Sure the characters aren’t blatantly named Batman and Bruce Wayne… but if a gothamite reads this they would think this is just a Batman/Bruce Wayne fanfiction with the names changed.

Bruce investigates by becoming Clark’s writer friend and writes a romance novel with SuperBat as main leads.

Now Clark is worried because why is his writer friend’s main lead sounds like Superman? How does his friend know so much about Superman? And no Superman is NOT in love with Batman (that’s a lie)... why is his friend blatantly writing SuperBat fic disguised as a romance novel?

this shows how close tim and kon were/are. and implies that tim and kon usually gets called by batman and superman because they get into trouble all the time, which is hilarious. imagine them up to some shenanigans, maybe with the titans and then suddenly getting a call from batman:

“Robin, Superboy.” They looked at each other with fear. “Me and Superman will meet you at xxx, come immediately.”

then it starts being a monthly thing for them to get called from the big b and supes only for them to get scolded and in some cases superhero/vigilante grounded. they would sneak away to meet up only to get in MORE trouble.
