its so so freakimg cold who invented below 7C temperature for anytime of day ever.

liphiyo so so cold, and they're having a sleepover and the heater is broken, and while the air is so so cold. the company warms their hearts so much that they find themselves finally falling asleep in the small houts of the mornimg. all huddled up trying to fight off the cold. the air is frigid but good compamy is enough to sustaim you us what I'm saying <3 and then they cuddle because so so cold.

You know what? I've been depressed lately and I'm glad that today i channelled my energy for putting off my homework into productive things. Lately i haven't had any energy at all! To channel! Into anything!!! So this is still a huge step up. :)

#i repotted my plants #mostly did my essays #made 2 cups of tea #steamed up the house (humidifier) (because its winter)#charged up my string lights and horded batteries for emergencies #charged up my moon lamp #cleaned my room (made the bed put up the clothes git rid of the trash declutterer moved the dishes)#made popcorn in a kettle (but not kettle corn. that shits gross)#drank enough water #ate enough food 2 sustaim my mortal body and eldritch essence #its been a good day #only thing it needs is bees

本当の自由はきっと不自由の中なのに

※恐らく一年前くらいの下書き。存在を忘れてたけど勿体ないので今更あげとく。

FoZZtoneをふいに聴きたくなり、後期からアルバムを買えてなかったからこの際ちゃんと全曲聴くぞとシャッフルしていたところ（サブスクは正義）セカフォズのアルバムが最高であることに気付いた。

”LOVE（セカイイチによるカバー）”がハマりすぎて、もはやセカイイチを聴き始めて、久しぶりにどっぷりアーティストを掘り下げる作業をやっている。勉強とか義務感からではなく、本当に惹かれて！

歌が恐ろしく上手いし全部の曲のクオリティが高いしノれるし刺さるしポテンシャルが凄まじい、随分前の曲でも新鮮で当時聴いてなかったことが惜しい。ただ、「バンド」を一括りに良いものととらえていた自分には「J-POPか」とスルーした可能性がなくはないな、今だからこそこの音��の良さが分かる（成長した私！）って思っている。残念ながらたぶん、当時は聴く機会に恵まれなかったんだけど。。。あのころ、界隈で名前を聞いたバンド名をびっしり書きなぐったノートにはいたような気がするわ。

さておき。

感染症対策でライブハウスやスタジオもいつ通常営業できるのか分からない世の中で、バンドの方々が活動を辞めてしまったらどうしようと不安に思うと、

皮肉にも、通常オフィス勤務していたころよりかえって彼らの動向を追うようになったり、どこが利益になるのか考えたりするようになった。

そして、自分が思っていたより意外に多くのバンドマンが副業をしていた。

飲食店経営とか、この機にゲーム配信始めるのは謎の才能開花やな‥と思ったけど‥

大好きなPeople In The Boxはたのさんのブログ（Q&A回答回）にも、このような一節があった。

「質問に「バンドマンの給料事情」という言葉がありますが、それは「昼の夜空の星の輝き」くらいの語義矛盾です。バンドマンには給料はないと考えるのが一般的に自然です。本当です。　音楽は職業ではなく生き方です。その上で、儲かる人は儲かります。儲からない人は儲かりません。なんであれ、がんばってください。応援しています。」

真理をついているけど、自嘲でも叱咤でもなく淡々と伝えたまでのこと。自分にはそう感じられた。

上記の記事も参考になった。

自分自身、週5勤務のオフィスワーカーでかなり時間は制限されたけど、お金も時間も好きに使えるようになって、その点で自由ではある。

でもお金が無くても自分のやりたいことに突き進む姿勢、不自由な生活基盤のなかで魂の自由をさがす、ということ、そこに憧れを抱くところも少なからずある。（つまり夢を見る、ということ）

表題に引用させていただいた歌詞の一節は、その表現が印象的だった。

そのうえで「分かり合おうとする」「少しの勇気を手にしてStep on a way」と歌う部分にぐっさり来るのは

自分が今進むべき道が見つけられなくて立ち止まってるからだろうかね。。

セカイイチの岩崎慧さんはCMの楽曲制作や提供を結構されているようで（キャッチーなメロセンスを国民に惜しみなく供給してくれてありがとうございます）

創作と商業の境目はあれど、どちらが尊いというものでもなく、どちらも等しく正しい音楽家の生き方であってほしい。

不自由の中でも自由に音楽を続けていってほしい。続けてくれたらそれだけで本当に嬉しい。

例えばデザイナーと画家は描く主題が違うと思う。

パウル・クレー氏は（多分金稼ぎのために）ユーゲントシュティールの挿絵描いて、その様式を自分の創作に貪欲に取り入れていった。

美術学校の先生だってやる。（葉脈を描かせていのちを教える怪しい授業をしてた）

不自由の中の自由らしいものに浸かって過ごすか、はたまた少しの勇気を手にして、一歩踏み出すのか。どちらも自由だ。
