Did You Know Jonathan Crane || Fact #6

According to a pieces of concept art drawn by John Gravato, Scarecrow’s earliest design in Arkham Asylum was actually a mish-mash of a straight jacket and prison blanket. Later on the design is developed in further detail by Carlos D'Anda, including belts and a cape. In all concept designs, he is shirtless.

Scarecrow is not seen with a sychte, or a hatchet in game, but these are present within the concept art and it’s noted that the scythe is made with pipes and sheet metal from the Asylum itself.

As for the Fear Gauntlet, John’s design shows that he simply attaches big syringe tubes to his fingers, showcasing that the fear gauntlet wasn’t fully realized until later in development and possibly when Carlos drew it.

There is this Welcome Home AU that I would loved and worked on but I have to finish the BCGSProj T^T, but when It was finished I'll work on this.

To intorduce this Barnaby in this AU, meet MARETU BARNABY or would be liked calling him "Shiinu"－

[Which is combination between two Kanji's, Shi(死) and Inu(犬), "死" means "Death" and "犬" means "Dog". Combining them in Kanji's like this("死犬") it means "Dead Dog". However there was a little wordplay to the name, if we take "Shinu" (take away to other "i") and then turn it as a verb("死ぬ") it will also means "to die","to pass away" or "to expire"]

－and He will be the main focus of this AU.

If your a Vocaloid fan and your reminded that ONE avatar edit of Evil Miku (Zatsune Miku) then... your right lol, but I don't want get too overboard with the red color.

His personality being a little edgy and intimidating, He was also very too keen when it comes to death, tragedy and "love". Possibly he is not too sympathetic at anyone who dies in any way, but even so he was kind hearted and when there was an alive soul (such as YOU) ended up in his black and white world. Barnaby will kindly take you to an exit unless if you want to talk to him, he will be bery much obliged with your request because he was a little lonely. Gave you tea and just talk about stuff.

He has a weapon of a Red Sychte which shaped like a music note which is an obvious refrence to MARETU's PFP of a red Music Note where that "flag" part is a Scythe Blade (or a Bone Scyhte Blade)

Ok but can we talk about how Grell and Ronald is probably one of Grell's healthiest dynamics that she has in the whole Kurusitsuji series?

(We can talk about Othello and Grell on another time I love them too and they are very cute but I wanna focus on these two first)

Also this isnt a ship post! I just enjoy their dynamic!!!

Ronald is the one of the only ones who doesn't resort to violence when it comes to dealing with Grell.

I feel like this pannel sums up Roanlds opinion on her pretty well. Ronald is impresed by Grell's skills and finds her cool but he can tell when she is going over the top and has to stop, and he verbally reminds her, without resorting into violence or threatening her.

He has restrainded Grell before, but it wasn't in a violent way. Infact, he doesn't even say hurtful words to her and just tells her to wait, which in response Grell eventually does. If it were William in that situation he would've probably cut her with his death sychte or something of the sort.

We can also tell Ronald has a lot of respect for Grell, regarding her as "Senpai". He respects her as a superior.

He does tease Grell for her age though. I cannot deny that. But its just cute playful banter.

Ronald also finds Grell's crush on Sebastian very annoying since he gets in the way of not only Grell's work but his as well. But what I find intresting here is he doesn't stop her from interacting with Sebastian, he just reminds her to not forget about what she was sent there for in the first place: soul collecting.

I just love the way Grell tells Ronald "You want to be punished too?" giving him a reminder to not make the same mistake as her, not that she really minds being punished but she knows Ronald is just a youngster trying to get a job done and he wouldn't enjoy it.

This pannel is so badass on Grells side yet so cute and funny on Ronalds side. They both compliment each other very well because every time one is carefree, the other one is a bit more serious but not verbally or physically abusive. Also, can we talk about how respectful Ronald is here? The way he thanks her for giving him his glasses is so cute.

Tell me another grim reaper that we know of who will 100% comply with Grell's requests like Ronald does. Literally name me ONE grim reaper who will do this just because Grell asked for it. Ronald doesn't want to do this and most importantly he doesn't have too, yet he still does it.

And I mean a big reason to stan this dynamic duo is because they are hot as fuck I mean look at them.

Also I did this in honor of Ronald Knox making his comeback after 3 years! I missed him so much. Hope we can see a Grell and Ronald team up soon!<3

A list of plants and their medicinal uses, from “The Complaynt of Scotland”, printed in 1549.

The “Complaynt of Scotland” was a propaganda piece published during the Anglo-Scottish war now known as the Rough Wooing, but it is also particularly interesting as a record of popular culture. As well as this list of herbs, the anonymous author also included lists of songs, dances, and stories which were popular in sixteenth century Scotland. You can read more about the history of the “Complaynt” here, but I thought it was worth quoting this passage in particular.

Although the information given about the medicinal uses of many of these herbs is not, to the best of my knowledge, particularly unusual, and I’m also not entirely convinced that some of these plants were actually native to Scotland during this period, I do think it’s an interesting example of the kind of basic botanical knowledge that a reasonably well-educated Scotsman in would have been able to acquire from both personal experience and books during the sixteenth century. 

I’ve provided a loose translation of the Scots below, primarily using the Old Scots Dictionary for some of the more difficult flower names and ailments. The version of the text which I took this quote from (edited by James A.H. Murray) can be found here, but a more up to date edition also exists, published by the Scottish Text Society in 1979.

Choromatsu and Todomatsu centric fanfic

(I thought it is fun to write it)

Todomatsu played his phone too long at night, he awake at noon and found Choro just awake as well,

"Choromatsu nii san..morning, where are the others?" He yawned while leaning to Choro, Choro shrugged and sighed, "What is that paper?". Todomatsu picked it up, reading it and pouted, "They are off to beach without us" he folded his hands and pouting.

Choro sighed, "Shitty brothers! Why?? Why do I have brothers like them?", Choro yelled and sighed, Todomatsu just nodded, "Absolutely shitty! What kind of human beings leave their own brothers alone? Absolutely trash!", Todo added and laughed a bit.

"Hahahaga true true, they are absolutely trash" Choro and Todo laughed together, then stopped. "But other than backtalking, we don't have anything in common huh?" Todo looked at Choro's eyes and sighed, "are we really brothers? Todo does not have heart, so Todomatsu does not know" Todomatsu looked down, his peachy round cheeks covered his whole face, his eyes looks gloomy too, his hands fidgeted for a bit.

"Can't help but it is just like that. Feels like de ja vu" Choromatsu laughed nervously and fixed his collar, "It is awkward right, Totty? Right?", he took a deep breath and sighed, Todomatsu's large eyes stare at him and tilted his head a bit, "What are you talking about, Choromatsu nii san?", Todo nommed some cookies, he knew, he just pretend to not to know.

"...it is awkward" Todomatsu dropped his cookies then he moved fast to Choro and creeping his face to him, Choro moved backward, cold sweated.

"TODOMATSU OI TODOMATSU, what are you thinking?", Todomatsu sighed and pinched Choro's cheeks, "Let's be honest to each other, it is not hard right?".

"What is hard?" Choro looked at him with confusion, Todomatsu smiled and took deep breath, he leaned closer to Choro, Choro is now having a nervous wreck. Todomatsu opened his mouth and...

"HEY THIRD FAPPYING OLDER BROTHER, WHY ARE YOU KEEP ON LOOKING NON EXISTENT JOBS BEYOND YOUR CAPABILITIES? BEING IDOL MANAGER? JUST HOW RISING ARE YOU? TRYING TO DESTROY WHOLE SERIES WITH YOUR RISING GREEN DESTRUCTIVE BALL? WHAT YOU DO IS BEING FAPPYSKI ALLLL DAYYYYYY. Super lame lame lame!", Todomatsu shouted infront of his face, leaving Chodomatsu frozen on his place for awhile. Todomatsu was amused with Choro's place and ended up laughing way too much.

"Ahahahhaa now that is hard!! If I am with you, I feel can talk about anything!!" Todomatsu laughed on floor, laughing until he teared up, "Sorry Choromatsu nii-san...I don't mean to be that hard on you...eh?"

Choromatsu put his hand on floor, keeping Todomatsu on his place, blocking his path. Todomatsu cold sweated, "Choromatsu nii san, are you okay? I said I am sorry".

Choromatsu smirked, "So that is how it is, don't underestimate the power of third born brother!!", Choromatsu leaned to Todomatsu's ears, "Listen to this properly".

Todomatsu giggled, "Properly? Okay then". Choro smirked and shouted, "LISTEN HEY YOUNGEST BROTHER THAT IS LITERALLY HEARTLESS, ROTTEN MORALS, SLY, DRY MONSTER, FAKE CUTENESS, ILL INTENTIONAL FAKE NORMIE! YOU ARE ONE OF US AND ALWAYS BE, WE ARE BROTHERS!",

Choromatsu lied down on next to Todomatsu, "How is it? Does it through your non existent heart? Todomatsu?".

Todomatsu hits Choromatsu repeatedly, "That is too hard!! I will tell Osomatsu nii san about this!!!", Todomatsu cried and keep hitting on him. Choromatsu felt guilty, but he did not want to surrender either, "but..YOU start this!!! We are sextuplets! So it does not matter!". Todomatsu slashed him back, "Pervert!! Normie wannnabe!! I hate you! Waahhh!!!", Todomatsu hit him back more and Choromatsu keep protesting against him. They all continue to roast each other.

"Die!! Third born brother!" Todomatsu picked his sychte and jumped to Choro, Choro ran away and jumped behind sofa, finding Todomatsu's phone, "If you go nearer!! I will destroy your phone!!". Todomatsu stopped, letting go of his sychte then he fell on his knees, crying loudly. "Not fair!! Waaahhh!! I will Osomatsu nii san!!", Choromatsu startled and dropped the phone, "But Osomatsu nii san is my closest brother, you can't!!!".

The door opened, Osomatsu wore a surgical mask and coughing with his feverish cheek, "What happens here? Your onii san caught cold you know...",

Osomatsu sighed and look at them. "It is just noon, why are you fighting?, Osomatsu approached crying Todomatsu and pat his back, Choromatsu stood up and whimpered, "nnnnnn!!!! Osomatsu nii san does not care about me anymore!!", Choromatsu throw tantrum by lying down on floor and kicking air.

Osomatsu was rather puzzled, he carried Todomatsu on his arm and approached him, "Who said that? Tell me everything..".

Choromatsu and Todomatsu stared at each other and folded their hands, "Fine!!! We are just trying to be honest but things are getting way too wild and...and" they started crying and hitting each other again. Osomatsu single handedly stopped them, "Just try to keep some restraints okay? Choromatsu is too blunt, Todomatsu show no limits when being too honest. Both of you are doing more than being honest", Osomatsu scolded them while ruffling their hairs softly then hugged them tightly, "But both of you are my little brothers, so don't fight okay?".

Both of them started sniffling before crying more until their eyes turned red, they got all too tired by crying and fighting too much, "sorry Todomatsu...", Choromatsu showed his small squishy hand and touched Todomatsu's hand, wanting to hold and shook it, Todomatsu wiped his tears and held it before yawning and lying down sleeping on Oso's lap.

Osomatsu looked relieved when he make sure both of them are sleeping,

"I guess I have to be their big brother role for long time huh? The more I delay my growing up phase, the more hurts it is. But it is okay, they are more precious than me"

Osomatsu whispered to thin air, giving more hair ruffles to his beloved little brothers.

Choro and Todo slept soundly on his lap and curling up like babies they were.

✍ I don't believe I've seen anyone from Pocket Mirror yet~

I described the ending of Pocket Mirror once to Ebeth.  When I told her about Enjel pulling out her scythe, she just asked “Ok, so is her weapon the sychte, or is it… the edge??”
