Marriot Courtyard, Seminyak, Bali 🇮🇩
A city styled hotel, smaller rooms, but easy to get to shops (about 5 minutes drive). The rooms are basic, but sufficient.
Pool is large and has a swim up bar. Kids club was great - huge ball pitt that the kids loved.

Hiding Space, St Catherine’s Hospital 🇬🇧
This is a fabulous set of self catered apartments. The styling and layout is perfect and feels luxurious. We had a separate lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The products on offer were from Cow Shed. The bed is really large and kitchen has all the functions that you need. There’s a cute communal courtyard that gets good sun and is a cosy spot. The accommodation is less than 5 min walk from Bath station and is in the heart of town. Has a super easy check in/check out process. Highly recommend.

Hotel Pelligrino, Praiano, Italy 🇮🇹
Situated in between Positano and the Amalfi coast is a charming small town called Praiano. We used this as our base to explore the picturesque Amalfi coast. Hotel Pelligrino can’t be faulted on service the host (family run) makes it his mission to ensure every guest is happy, and we were!
The rooms are charming, old world Italy with large balconies that overlook the bay. The building has the most magnificent hanging garden I have ever seen, and the breakfast was superb (also sea views).

Tamper Espresso Bar, Lille, France 🍴 🇫🇷
A cute little cafe hidden in the cobblestone streets of Lille. The coffee was good, the staff spoke English and were super friendly and the breakfast menu was delicious, especially the Eggslut!

Residence Lancaster, Paris, France 🇫🇷
Situated in central Paris, 2 mins walk from Notre Dame, this accommodation was perfect for a Parisian break. Two good sized bedrooms, a lounge with a 6 seater dining table and full working kitchen. Beautifully decorated with plenty of windows letting light in. The location was perfect and easy to get around Paris. The street this is on has plenty of nice food options too. Would love to stay here again.

Koti Cafe, Liechtenstein 🇱🇮 ☕️
This place absolutely meets my high coffee standards! Koti in Liechtenstein served world class coffee, had a nice set up of tables/chairs and friendly staff. They also have a homeware brand with some great products.

EMA apartments, Zurich, Switzerland 🇨🇭
A short ride from the airport, train station and Zurich central, these apartments are perfect if your are looking for a bit of space in the rooms, modern design and nice views. The bedroom was a great size with a large king bed, space for office/luggage and a really chic lounge and kitchen area with large windows overlooking the stream. The food served to your room was plentiful with a mix of hot breakfast and cereals and bread. Highly recommend.

Aliko Beach, Naxos, Greece 🇬🇷 🏖
Hidden gem. Hardly anyone on this beach. The water is turquoise. It’s off the tourist path, and great place to relax. I would recommend bringing a picnic as no food spots around. Take an umbrella too.

Puglia Restaurants, Italy 🇮🇹🍴 Polignano: La Locanda Porta Picc – better food than the cave restaurant, sit outside on the street. Polignano: Ristorante Grotta Palazzese – Not the best value for money relative to other restaurants, but I think still worth it purely for the unique setting/view & pictures. See pic above! Alberobello: La Cantina – awesome little cantina, we were verrrrry lucky to get a lunch booking on the day as it’s a small restaurant. Book this if you can, it’s great! Literally dozens of people were waved away after we arrived.   From memory this was the best food we had on the trip.  And great value too.  Ostuni: Osteria del tempo perso – we stopped here for lunch.

Almanegra Cafe, Mexico City, Mexico 🇲🇽 ☕️ Amazing. Hands down the best coffee I’ve had throughout the 2.5 weeks in Mexico. Definitely competing on the world coffee stage! Can be found in the trendy neighbourhood, Roma North. ⭐️
