idc if you personally like spiders or reptiles but if someone posts a picture of their snake or tarantula and you reply with a picture of a gun you're a fucking asshole. that's their PET. imagine if you showed someone your cat and they yelled "KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!111!"
I know this is about the tarantula but shout out to my phone, it was on 10% battery and was recording for an hour into 5%, what a chad, thing was HOT.
Glad your phone didn't explode to get this video! I love watching spiders molt though, what a process. Wish I could do that. Please tell them they're beautiful now! And also they were before. And will always be in the future.
The interaction between these two in Earthspark really landed with me. I'm loving seeing Tarantulas in this sort of role, and it was truly touching to see that interaction and encouragement of LGBTQ youth in media and the celebration of identity.
Here's to hoping Nightshade and Tarantulas meet again in season 2!
Concept was suggested by my partner, and I was super inspired.
Audio clip is from “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse”.
thinking about how many kids probably go on their Pokemon journeys only to immediately catch some extraordinarily dangerous Pokemon right off the bat
The parents, when their kid is all excited to show them their new friend and they’re expecting something cute like an Eeevee and then they open the pokeball and it’s a fucking Ultra Beast
@windcalled submitted: Have you ever seen a king worm molt? Me neither! I bought some to feed my tarantula (brachypelma hamorii, my darling Miss Sriracha above) but she actually full on refused them multiple times. Sssssoooo I decided they were simply my problem and I take care of them too.
I have seen mealworms molt before, sure! It's a cool process. I bought them as feeders too and now they are my pets because SOMEONE wouldn't eat them. Anyhoo tell Miss Sriracha that I love her :)
