Whisper Tarot - 8 of Cups
The secret to a long life is knowing when it’s time to go. The 8 of Cups represents disappointment, escapism, perhaps abandonment. It’s the compulsion to get away from a bad situation. Something is missing from your life, and it is time to move on and find out what it is. Thanks to Jaded-Reflection on Deviant Art for use of the Cup.…

Ace of Cups
Hello!! I'm participating in @a-witch-named-crow’s tarot study challenge, and the first day is Ace of Cups, so here we go :)
Suit and Numerology
The suit of cups represents our emotions and heart, how we express emotion, and how we connect with others. Positive aspects include relationships and intuition while negative aspects include loss and emptiness. Since it's a cup, the associated element is water.
Aces represent new beginnings, potential, and opportunity.
Ace of Cups
This card represents many things, such as relationships of all kinds, emotional release, and spiritual fulfillment.
It's a time to accept your emotions, whether they are new or being repressed. Be open to them and don't lock them away. This can be through thing such as emotional release or a new relationship.
Ace of Cups is a good omen for creativity and growth in new projects. It also represents a time to explore your spirituality and is a reminder to have joy in the present moment.
Many people also associate this card with fertility and emotional changes in life, such as pregnancy and marriage.
My Interpretation
I use the Cosmic Slumber deck and what I saw varied greatly from the general meaning of Ace of Cups. I love this deck, don't get me wrong, but it had more of a negative vibe for me.
The card is set against a deep ocean. An overflowing golden goblet is being held over it by a hand with a red sleeve. There's a magenta-robed blonde in the cup who's reaching up out of the rim for someone/thing out of view.
Before I looked at what the books said, I tried to intuit it. I saw the blonde as someone who feels like she is drowning, unaware of the hand supporting her from below. She's waiting for the help of someone who's long-gone, rather than leaning on the one already there. Despite her not recognizing what help she has, she is still being supported. To me, this says to be grateful for what you have and to not look too far into the past or future.
Wildly different from the definitions above, I know. Now that I've done my research, let me try again.
The ocean could represent her emotions, same as the water in the cup. She's getting overwhelmed by her emotions because she's been repressing  them; she needs to face them. The hand supporting her could represent other people in her life that she could turn to. It's not the time to be stagnant and waiting for something that may never come.

When you draw the Three of Cups, you will see three women lifting their cups up in the air in a celebration of some sort. Good times are in the air, for the three ladies have wreaths made of flowers in their hair. Wreaths are often associated with success and victory, so their happiness is well deserved.

Pick a card: From your Soulmate
Tumblr media
Happy Friday! Today's reading is a soulmate reading. Your reading includes: Characteristics of your soulmate & a note from them <3
Pile 1: Ace of Pentacles
Tumblr media
I’ve been kicked down in life, but each time I get back up the light at the end of the tunnel gets brighter. I have been trying hard to trust in the universe because I know it’s bringing me everything I could want – and that’s you. You are such a compassionate, beautiful, smart, and wonderful person pile 1. You know how they say to never stop dating the person you’re with? That is my plan with you – to woo you forever. You deserve to be wined and dined. I hope to show you each day how much you mean to me. I’ll bring you flowers. I’ll give you shoulder rubs. I’ll tell you silly jokes just to make you laugh. I will spend our time together making sure you never feel unloved. You are my manifestation and I can’t wait to be with you.
Pile 2: The Lovers
Tumblr media
Your love is a breath of fresh air. Being with you brings me mental clarity. It makes me understand that the way I’ve been treated in relationships up until now were not an accurate representation of a healthy relationship. Gosh, it is so refreshing! You may find when we begin our relationship that I am hesitant to make big decisions. Because you are showing me something I’ve never known before, it is going to take a little time for me to be convinced that you’re not going away. But let me tell you, once I am shown time and time again that you show up, it is game over (in the best way). The way that we align will take away all the doubts I’ve ever had about love. And I won’t be able to thank you enough.
Pile 3: The Hanged Man
Tumblr media
A lot of my life has been about competition; mainly, competition with myself. I have a need to prove myself. I want to be the best at what I do. And I know that that mindset isn’t always the most productive. With you in my life, soulmate, I am reminded to pause. I am reminded that there are more perspectives out there from my own and that I’m allowed to let go of what I think SHOULD be to open room for what IS. You’re really going to allow me to look at my shadow self and understand why I have this need to be better than the previous version of me. You’re going to help me see the restraints that I’m binding myself with. My competitive nature will always be a part of me but I’m looking forward to the time in my life where I can experience joy just being who I am, where I don’t feel like I need to be constantly winning. My life with you is the ultimate prize.
Pile 4: Two of Cups
Tumblr media
I’ve held myself back for much of my life with the fear that I don’t have the tools to succeed. I always think that if I just had that one thing – more money, more confidence, more time – that then I can take the plunge. At times, I also find myself wanting to do everything for everyone. If I put effort into one thing, I feel like I am neglecting the other, and then I stop doing either. I want to be the best RIGHT NOW, no matter how unrealistic. And then you came into the picture. My inspiration, my muse, my reminder that each day is a clean slate. Not only do I know we will grow together, but I know that I will grow personally because of you. You never fail to encourage me to follow my dreams. You have a way of reminding me that, even if I “fail”, I can always get something out of a situation which means I didn’t fail at all. I really hope I can do the same thing for you because you deserve the same, if not more, of the energy you give to me.

Whisper Tarot--Two of Cups
The Two of Cups represents relationships, partnerships, and deep connections. The card often depicts a romantic couple, but the partnership doesn’t have to be romantic love, as shown by the two children on the card. This could be a business partnership, a close friendship, or any relationship based on mutual respect, unconditional love, and shared interests. Thanks to the following artists for…

Three of Cups: The Moonlight Conjuring!
Upright: Community, friendship, gatherings, celebrations, collaboration, creativity, camaraderie
Reversed: Isolation, loneliness, gossip, interpersonal strife, shallow or toxic friendship, excess celebration
The Three of Cups represents one's interpersonal relationships, sense of belonging, and collective success. When upright, it indicates good times with good friends, as is the case in Hooty's Moving Hassle! Having gained Luz as a friend, Willow and Gus now have the minimum requisite trio to perform a moonlight conjuring, an important social tradition for young witches. The ritual is more (less?) successful than intended when they combine their power and bring the entire Owl House to life instead of just Gus's doll figurine. Elated by their success, they can confidently rub it in their bullies' faces.
The reversed Three of Cups can indicate negative social interactions or lack of companionship and community. Amity is shown clearly feeling out of place at her friend group's moonlight conjuring, sitting apart from the group after the ritual was unsuccessful. It's likely that it failed in part because the group's bonds are weak and shallow, considering they are only friends because their parents dictated who they were allowed to socialize with as children. (The fact that everyone immediately pulled out Penstagram afterwards instead of talking with each other is telling). To be a part of this group, Amity has to be antagonistic, elitist, and a bully. Seeing Luz, Willow, and Gus being true friends to each other makes her wonder if she's really rolling with the right crowd.

This card is brighter than the one I usually do- might even be the most colorful of the whole deck, so far! Which- fitting. Today, let's welcome Charlie Morningstar and Vaggie, double figures for the Ten of Cups!
Tumblr media
(Now usually, the card also have one or two more people on it; I thought about adding Pentious, but our snake should have his card soon enough. Therefore, it's just the girls.)
Explanations under the cut, as well as a poll for the next card to draw, and the rest of the Hazbin tarot cards!
Upright, the Ten of Cups embodies happiness, joy, and emotional contentment. You have created an abundance of love and happiness in your life, and you now share this love with others, expanding your heart even more. This fits Charlie and what she created with her hotel, supported by Vaggie- together, they are the start of it all. You are now surronded by your loved ones (it's a fucking happy day in hell!), with whom you share a powerful and deep connection. You support one another, and you help other to reach their highest potential- on the path to redemption! Most of all, you do it because seeing others happy is the greatest joy you could have. It's the "happy family" card by excellence, as well as a positive card for romantic relationships- you're in a blissful one, if that's what you're looking for, to the point you may believe that you ar soulmates destined to be with one another (I do love them, mh, mh). When the card appears in your reading, it's time for you to take a step back, and appreciate everything you accomplished. You went through hard time, but look at that! You can do this, now we know it, and you actually did. Follow your heart, says the card, and follow your inner sens of Good.
Reversed, the card brings more subtility. You can see the Upright reading as mostly Charlie's idealistic view on the hotel and on redemption; but with the reversed Ten of Cups come the struggles. You may feel disconnected and disengaged from your loved ones, like your estranged father and your missing mother. You try to connect, but each times, something goes wrong, and the distance between you grows. Why does he forgets everything you say? Can't he pay attention? Why is he not calling more often? Or maybe you're afraid to trust, and you're keeping some secrets close to your chest. You don't open up enough, and you create, without meaning to, a distance with others, with her. You're too rash and too impulsive, but you mean well- surely, they can see that? It may have an impact on your relationship; you need to realise that nothing is perfect, and every relationship has its ups and downs. The Ten of Cups invite you to seek out a common ground with your loved ones, and rebuild the relationship from there. Talk to your father about why, exactly, he's so reluctant to help; talk to your partner about who you are, and where you came from. Open the lines of communication and be ready to hold space for one another. Be compassionate, understanding, and respectful. The card can also mean that you're starting to doubt yourself, and what you are doing. Is it really worth it? Are you up to the task? Are you letting other people down? You have to rethink those questions. Think about what makes you happy, what you believe in, and bring back your focus to that.
Tumblr media
And that's it for today! I'm planning to do at least three more Hazbin cards- if the fixation does not die by then. Not that it shows any sign of slowing down, oh boy- they are all so fun to draw, too!
Anyway.
And with that, Hazbin Hotel verse is the most represented fandom in my whole deck of cards, right before Doctor Who. Ah!
If you have read this far- well done. So proud of you. You win a peach cider, if you're even able to drink this abomination. And paf, the rest of the cards!
