The younger man sighed and lifted their hands, turning them, kissing Danhausen’s knuckles. “Babe, I’m not goin’ anywhere. Just gotta piss real fast and I’ll be right back, okay?” 

Danhausen visibly relaxed, eyes soft and a little watery, pulling at Hook’s heartstrings again. His grip loosened, allowing his partner to pull away and stand, finally. He knew Hook would always come back.
