So, I finally got my hands on the Dragon Prince art book for Christmas, which inspired me to revisit my old concept for a self-insert OC of the Dragon Prince. Here's the concept art that evolved from that!

Was drawing some more story scenes, and finally decided to draw "younger" Aran. ♥ Is she really younger? What's 10 years when compared to the other 4,990? :')

Looking at this right now and I absolutely bollocksed up her horns, they're way too small and angle the wrong direction, but it is what it is. ♥ You can find all of Aran's story information over at her ToyHouse page, but this is your nice, typical, "if I let you out, promise not to run away?" kind of deal. :')

She doesn't even try to skedaddle. She's way too cute for that.

I'm so sorry for the utter quality butcher, but I work BIG and Tumblr likes small. ;-; I can't even direct you to somewhere you can see it fullsized because everywhere else only likes the little guys, too. :')

Phantom Aaravos

"Sing once again with me.. our strange duet~"

The damned, the daunting, the enchanting phantom of the opera! The idea of a human aaravos seemed too basic since he's like, a star touched elf, right? They seemed like this far away ethereal thing anyway and it kinda reminded me of the phantom lol. The phantom was already kind of like this magician so his eye, i imagine would be kinda janked from betraying the surface opera all those years ago. Might make more fanart of this. Let me know what you guys think!

“You wish to be a startouch elf?” The Merciful One asked the star dragon who towered over them in all her glory. She lowered her head.

“I long for something more in this world than devouring the stars.” The dragon muttered, her breath almost blowing away the startouch elf.

“I cannot help you.” They shook their head. “But I know someone who can.”

“And who may this person be?” Her blue eyes looked down at The Merciful one.

“A unicorn, named Leola.” They looked at her.

The lonely dragon met with the unicorn named Leola, who granted the dragon’s wish and turned her into a startouch elf.

“You won’t be able to turn back from this decision. Even if you may be able to return to your original form as you wish, you will no longer be able to speak to your kin. Your kind may resent you for this decision.” Leola spoke, standing beside the startouch elf who examined her new appearance in the reflection of the water.

“I’m fine with that…” She responded, combing her fingers through her midnight blue hair that pooled over her shoulders.

A cloak was thrown over her to wear.

“Do you regret this decision?” Leola sat beside her.

Illyrian Examined her hands, her face, her horns, her ears. She was much smaller than before, no claws, no sharp teeth, no hunger for the stars.

“No.” She answered, a smile on her face.
