In retrospect we really messed up by not going with a term like "deep automation" or something to refer to the current crop of self-refining software tools. People hear "artificial intelligence" or even "machine learning" and, unless they're already familiar with the technology, assume you're talking about something that's somehow "conscious" or "aware."

No, the computers are still blind and dumb as bricks in the metaphysical sense, and are set to remain that way for the foreseeable future. They're just getting really good at picking out (and, in the cases of things like chatbots, imitating) patterns in large and complex datasets, which is a potentially useful tool properly applied.

I’ve been rewatching this (sorry for the kh youtuber jumpscare lmao) and I’m in awe all over again looking at everything that’s just in this single room.

All those books! Various bottles! The Mark of Mastery emblems on the corners! The tapestry with the Book of Prophecies/MoM’s symbol with (what is presumably) the Foretellers’ symbols surrounding it! The writing everywhere! (is any of it legible now? 👀). The lamps that look like the Land of Departure! The smaller stuff like tools on the table, the stylized ceiling fans, the rolled up maps or cloths or poster papers, the feather quills, the single plant! The armillary spheres all throughout! The huge double blackboard!

UGHHH it’s just all so unbelievably COOL!!!

At first I loved Kieran and really disliked Carmine but by the end of the teal mask I thought Kieran was becoming a little bitch (affectionate + positive) and I absolutely loved Carmine

Still do, I'd say Carmine is probably my favourite to come from scarvio, below Arven but above Drayton

Guys complaining about alleged "Girl Bosses" would not have survived the late 90s to early 2000s.

Hell, not even the eighties when there were a growing amount of girl characters taking sh*t and taking names. There might've been concessions in their characters arc in pertaining to men buuuuuut a whole lot of them from those decades would've cheesed off the Status Quo Warriors of today.

Back in my day, they were called Strong Female Characters(TM) by overcompensating male writers. None of this same stuff but different labels.

i had been lately really feeling stuck in a slump of no energy focus or motivation, mental blocks and fogs, etc. and started trying this plant med. for some reason i have fallen so in love with these little tin designs in particular from across the river - as a plus, they have been working wonderfully in my case i must report....!! it's been day and night of difference, what a relief 🥺🙏💓
