Rook rolls over on his bunk, away from the wall where the Ravens banner he had put up hung. His eyes stray over towards the bunk next to his own, where an innocuous rabbit plush sat, one that was, weirdly, in the colors of one of the Ring's snipers.

Under other circumstances, he might have gone over and hidden the thing, just for a laugh; there were more than a few dark nooks and crannies in their headquarters, and he knew most of them. Now, though, he doesn't dare, but instead rolls over once more, fixing his eyes on the banner by his bed.

He had nearly come all too close to finding out what, exactly, happened to those who decided to lie in Howl's bed, and while he doesn't know the exact details (he had cut and run as soon as he could), the way that Smoke has started to act around the mammoth of a man tells him that something sure did.

No, he is just going to stay over here, and leave Howl's things well enough alone. He'd managed to get this far by having a healthy sense of self-preservation, and he's not about to stop now.
