This trip was really hard but overall worth the extra trials. Trying to overcome the memory loss and symptoms I had this trip was pretty difficult. I had a wonderful time, but I think it's time Disney understood some people use cannabis as medicine to prevent very painful situations for themselves, such as dislocation pain or seizures; even the mention of Medical Use is enough to get kicked out for being "under the influence"........Perhaps they will learn, as I have had to, that it is in some cases a very good thing for people to use. If I had more in my system, I would not have had a seizure in the park. Alas, it hasn't quite caught up the future of medicine. However, there were helpful things, the disability pass allows those with situations like ours to be treated with better ease at line; simply scan your park ticket or reserve a spot in line on the Disneyland App, and it will give you a return time to come back. This greatly helped reduce the sensory input my brain was being overloaded with, all in all, it worked out beautifully and I got to explore The Happies Place On Earth once again. May is mental health awareness month.

Almost 3 years ago I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder after an almost successful suicide attempt. I can’t say it’s been an easy 3 years in recovery, but I can say with absolute confidence that if I can do it, anyone can!
