This is certainly not the point of the video but what it HAS confirmed for me is that when dnp DO hold hands they're fingers-interlocking type people, instead of just clasping hands and that information is. well it's something now isn't it.
(evidence: scene with the demonic entity behind them, scene when Dan interlocks his fingers with Phil's with the blue slime between them)

(@voltagefandomproject I decided to use this fic, since I'm so proud of it)
He trembled, the indecent atmosphere getting to his lungs and almost suffocating him. But then again... Maybe he would prefer that. He bit on his bottom lip and used his dusted glove to wipe away the tears swelling in his eyes. He didn't deserve the luxury of crying and letting it all out, that's how he saw it.
"Dui... Dui...!" He heard his name, but he didn't respond. He remained in the darkness of the prison cell, buried deep inside his shame and sorrow. "Dui!"
Ichthys gripped the metallic rusted bars and peered inside with hopeful eyes. "Dui, are you in there?"
"Leave... Please..." He spoke in his most broken voice.
Ichthys' fingers shifted awkwardly around the bars as he pursed his lips together. "Listen, everyone in punishments are prepared for the trial-"
"Let me be annihilated!" Dui, as if just regaining his voice, uttered.
Ichthys shivered at the mere thought and his Adam's apple moved visibly as he swallowed thickly.
"I'm a murderer..." Dui broke down mid-sentence and his sobs gradually got louder. "I'm a murderer! What right do I have to justify my name?!" Dui finally got up from the dirty floor and made up the courage to face his friend, who came all the way here just to see him. A god with hands covered in sin and blood, still hot from splattering out of his late best friend. It's been almost a week, but in his mind's eye, it's like it happened yesterday. "What right do I have to cleanse my name?! I wasn't framed, I did kill!"
Ichthys' eyebrows furrowed, desiring desperately for the image of the world without Dui to disappear. "The king knows all, remember? This is no ordinary case."
Dui's face was pale at the sound of those words. "What do- this is just like any other case!"
"Oh, really?" Ichthys tilted his head to the side. "So you just killed out of free will?" He asked, completely serious.
"Yes." Dui answered, staring off into space.
"You don't sound honest."
"I am being-" The last word died in his tongue and Ichthys'.
Ichthys had reached out through the prison bars and grabbed Dui's hand. Pulling him in, Dui's chest got slammed against the railings and their mouths touched, their lips connecting like the perfect puzzle.
Dui's shock was currently the loudest thing in his mind, as Ichthys' tongue twisted against his own. "Ichth-"
"Don't talk. Rest your sweet voice and let me have this." He stared at him through narrowed eyes, his lips reddish and swollen from the kiss. "I love you..." He didn't allow Dui time to speak, before resuming to kissing him again. He held Dui's wrists tightly through the cell bars, keeping him close.
Dui relaxed slightly and kissed back, his gloved fingers grazing Ichthys'.
"Fuck, I knew you'd kiss so good." He breathed.
Dui moaned into his mouth and furrowed his eyebrows, trying to navigate the kiss deeper through the metallic bars.
Ichthys pulled back suddenly and Dui found himself being stopped by the prison bars, when he tried to lean back in.
"Ichth-"
Ichthys pressed a finger to his lips. "I have to go, but I promise you, we all promise you... We'll get you out of here."
Dui placed a kiss to Ichthys' finger. "Why would you give a killer hope?"
"Because I love him."
