#the short answer is autism and ritalin. btw #the long answer is: i wake up anywhere between 730-0900. i draw. if i have work when i come back i go and i draw. #i go to bed anywhere between 0100 and 0230. i wake up the next day and i draw. #i dont draw fast and in fact i get distracted and/or procrastinate quite often #i just have 16 hour days! every day! i am awake for 16 hours! sometimes more depending on the general mood! [cursed emoji here] #and like! wtf do you even do at that point?? how do you fill a 16 hour day? an 110 hour week? an almost 6000 hr year? #i draw! i have been drawing *seriously* since grade 2! and i have *seriously* loved the persona series since like mid/late 2017! #for those of you keeping score at home; i am 19! 2017 was grade 7 for me! ive loved this series for almost a full third of my life! #[continued emotional rant cut for length] but this is my community and my arts been the way i interact with this community since #(looks at my blog archive) 2019 when i posted my first persona art! please dont look at any of that now tho lmao! #so i guess. if the long answer needs to be short too then the long answer is love!!!! its always been love!!!! just realised that i started playing assassins creed 8 years ago almost exactly to the day........ literally a third of my life

#ezio auditore has been my favourite character for a third of my life. what the fuck #longest running blorbo of all time. my best friend my special lil guy my short king my bloodied and beaten shell of a man #first time i played ac was just before my 16th birthday- my dad was taking me to paris for the weekend and we had to set off in the middle #of the night so i figured there was no point going to sleep. so i found ac2 on his xbox and remembered watching my brother play it #when we were little #and i thought sure i'll give it a go. and played for 8hrs straight #and then i was HOOKED #every weekend when i went to my dads me and my sister would play ac for hours #i was thinking about it Non Stop i think it was my first major hyperfixation and tbh i dont think any since then has been as intense #as a reward for my gcses my mum bought me an xbox so i could play at hers too #i played almost the whole series and read pretty much every book #i even developed a love of art history- which im now thinking about studying at university- because of ac2 #anyway all this to say i turn 24 this week and i havent played ac in months but it still had such a huge impact on me #during some kinda shitty years of my life and i think it will always feel like a big part of me #which is kinda nice i think

after six years of the game being out and after three and a half years of me actually playing the game i have finally beat botw. did u know finishing video games is. fun,,

#hey its not as bad as norn9 where im only a third in after six years. and rhythm thief took me a genuine decade #im very good at taking my time #MY IMPRESSIONS its a good game :) i think i had a little over 100 hours by the end. one thing about the final boss fight though - #it made me kinda miss like true classic zelda scripted boss fights LOL but lots of fun! #some of the dlc stuff i couldnt do like the champions ballad and the sword thing RIP had to look up the cutscenes later~ #theyre tough! but also my playstyle has always been a bit of. just run and go for it #planning and stealth is not my strong suit. by the end i was running directly up to guardians and just killing them before they killed me #i can eat kebabs faster than they can shoot lasers. i am unstoppable #the soundtrack was nice! subdued obvs since its open world #but the standout tracks are really standout. of course i love rito village night ver being dragon roost island #and the hyrule castle theme turning into zeldas lullaby in the internal parts hit me #and of course the main theme is iconic. i like the version with the hard break in the middle the most i love that cut so much #i know people edited it out and in the live version its not as harsh because its live #but i LOVE IT i love it so much. mix of synthetic breaks with a fantastical and traditional sounding theme. awesome #that whole 3 and a half years before i got a copy of the game (i wanted to beat skyward sword first) i didnt look up like anything #didnt pay attention to anything people were saying. heard something about it being open world. heard some speedruns were like an hour #and i heard the theme. and i listened to that theme on repeat for all those years. so so good #now i will probably do that for totk- not knowing anything about it for three years until i finally play it LOL thats how it is so far #people have told me about it. but truthfully i wasnt really listening. sowwy. i was focused on botw orz #but i wanna play something different now. take a break. also wait until i can find someone selling totk used for under 70 cad KJDLJFKDSJDKS #i am NOT paying nearly a hundo for a videoed game nintendo you cant make me #maybe now i should finish all the other games in my backlog. or i could start 5 new ones. hmmmmmmmm

#*of junior year #it was AMAZING i only had to be at school for third period (we have exemplary attendance days) #so me and my best friend went and picked up my partner and i got to wake her up all sweet and everything #and we just basically hung out all day #i played my clarinet a little to practice for graduation - got to see my freshman clarinets whom i love #went to ap lang and helped some people do a crossword #ate lunch w my friend & partner and we talked about some drama that was happening and cleared things up between us all #hung out at both people's houses for quite some time #my partner drove!!! and i'm so proud of him <3<3 #went to work for like two hours basically and that was very chill and pleasant #went home and ate dinner then went out with my friends Again to go play horror games at one of their houses #but i was basically sleeping the whole time i was there shsjfhdj #then went home again and passed out #but not before talking to my partner some more and having a very sweet affectionate time #it was absolutely lovely it was so free of all the sturm und drang that my larger friend group has been having lately #duckspeak

was looking at the school systems in latin america and i think our ministries of education should come together n decide some sort of standard fr bc what a mess

#if they could come together to make our car plate look the same ugly ass shit they should come together to do something useful as well #they should copy paste whatever finland is smoking for basic school n then steal whatever cuba is doing in high education #me personally if i could choose i'd divide the basic years in 4 phases #first (til 4yo) second (til 8yo) third (til 12yo) fourth (16yo) #which is similar to what we have but its divided evenly now. also they should make the school hours shorter #no fucking person should be sitting in a chair for over 6h #three months of vacation is a perfect number to be honest (december january july) #oh n we should actually have decent extracurricular activities OR we should b able 2 choose the classes we need #sure make a standard curriculum for ppl who dont know what theyre doing w their life but also let the rest of us bitches choose #i DID NOT need that many chemistry or biology classes. i was not interested then and im not interested now #and also that insane amount of math classes was unnecessary too. even if i use math in uni now #a perfect curriculum for me would be 25% language 25% history + geography 25% math 10% art or PE 5% sciences #these bitches had me doing 40% math 40% portuguese 20% all sciences + random philosophy #oh n while i think a test to get into university is good it should not be like a straight line bc every student is different #for example when i did ENEM the first time i was baffled on how insane the math and sciences part were #(i love the language history and geography part tho) like i think we should also be able to choose that #like when we sign up we say what uni and course we wanna take and then do a test that has nothing to do with it #we should be able to get a personalized test from the already existing database. for example #if im going to do architecture then my test needs more math physics and history. but not as much language geography and fuckass chemistry #even though i LOVE language and geography #wait this rant went too personal already. anyway change the schooling system #and also fix the way teachers are being taught to teach and also pay them better and fund better infrastructure #cos literally til when are politicians gonna put the tax money up their ass? girl you cant even give 30% to education? kill yourself <3 #the way latin america will be stuck in the lower top 50 in education for the next decades is crazy

The winners for the contest were announced today so that means I can officially share this now! A week ago I participated in the 24 Hour Animation Challenge with a couple of my friends from the program and while our film didn’t win, it was still a great learning experience and I’m pretty damn proud that we finished a film in only 24 hours!!

The theme for this year was “Predicting the Future”. I was the storyboard lead and I also did one of the background layouts and keyframed the ending sequence! There were plenty of scenes that didn’t make the final cut and things that we agreed we could change or do better on, things we’ll definitely address and explore if we decide to go ahead and re-do this film as a fun summer collab project!

My team was awesome and if any of you are reading this, y’all did great work and there’s nobody I would have rather slowly descended into madness as we hit the 10hr mark without sleep than you all <3 If 3rd year doesn’t kill us, we should go crazy and do this again :  D
