oh my god. the fact that the tiny life life sim not only has aromantic as a trait option but also all it does is remove the romance bar and you can still do romantic interactions/date/etc and it's just based on the friendship bar instead. I could cry.

started playing tiny life! this is excellent ever. she lives in a house with a flat roof because i couldn’t figure out how to make the pitched roofs look nice and i was impatient to play. she enjoys painting. she tried to woo carmen cashew but she was in a relationship so she’s working on marco napoli now. the controls take some getting used to coming from the sims but it’s pretty fun!

Tried to go to the cafe but I didn’t realize that they had operating hours so Jude got there 6 minutes before they closed. I sent him to greet the barista, Liam, but he ended up chasing the poor guy all the way to the edge of the map. So in the end Jude just went home to finish his evening watching a comedy back at home.

Tiny Life - So far

I haven't updated/moved my Sims story here yet but I got some eise to talk about instead. I've been playing an indie game called Tiny Life.

As the name implies, it's yet another life sim that has hit the market that you can play around with right now on Steam for Early Access

I am so aching to creating my own neighborhood with houses and Tinies, but as I get familiar with the game, I've moved my Tiny, Kira Violet, into the first city.

Not the best builder and I fumble with the building tools sometimes, but here is the house so far~

It pretty much plays how you'd expect a life sim to. Create your character, move them into an existing or empty lot, and play out their lives. It's an open world game so they can go anywhere at any time.

There's no much to do on the community lots yet imo, but they are cute. There's a little cafe, a library, a gym, and some parks. But the cafe is definitely my favorite.

It is in early access so there's still a lot to add and stuff to fix... like Tinies going to community lots and filling the parks with uneaten food. Lol

I wish their roadmap were more detailed but for now I'll just wait and see what's to come next

Had to start the Tiny Life demo over because somehow my main SSD became unbootable. Not sure if it’s bad or if it somehow got messed up while I was formatting an old hard drive, but let’s just say yesterday was not fun. Windows 10 reinstalled fine so I really don’t know what happened. I lost so much crap, it’s... best to just move on. And this time, back up the Super Tiny Life saved game. It’s one of the newer things I hadn’t bothered to do yet.

Meanwhile, hellspawn tiny Tirsden is back to levelling skills and contemplating what job to max out first. Her house is more or less rebuilt the way it was before, in fact I like the tweaks in this version better.
