So S is being her mother for a project, she's drinking a lot, asking blunt questions (instead of letting conversations die), she claims her mom wouldn't care about Seth's nonverbalness and doesn't let him explain anything, unless she asks because she would totally pry and be weird about it. One contradiction she forms all on her own is besides wondering/reminding herself that Seth just standing there doesn't mean he's waiting for her to keep talking, so when she thinks that she thinks harder about what she's going to say. I'm not 100% sure about that, because I feel like if Seth looked away or shrugged and left or even frowned in a certain way you'd be like, he does not want me to keep talking. If he raised his eyebrows I'd be like oh he is waiting for me to elaborate. But yeah, you assume aquainteneses kind of don't really truly care or even if they raise their eyebrows or nod a little that they might make fun of you later or laugh privately or be like, uh I was just being polite and you're unleashing this torrent on me. I was leading to something when I said this. Yeah I was leading to one single moment where Seth is talking to her and she's like uh I don't know what he's getting at, I shouldn't treat this like a mystery or a ga--oh he's saying blah blah blah! That seems so realistic. It's a contradiction. Well it might be sad to give up on him mid-conversation but it gets awkward to be like, I don't know, I don't--what? Uh yeah haha. Like when she just copies a sign Seth does and Devin is like "woah! she knows Stop Drop Dead?" like no she just repeated it because it seemed like a good thing to chorus.

Anyways the main contradiction I was getting to was that her mom wouldn't clean her room but would mend a hole in pajamas, but the pajamas are Seth's so you're wondering if the mom hates cleaning but likes her cloths enough, or if S is just thinking that Lady should have fixed her son's shirt. Writing this I see that it's the first one and so it's very normal. I think that's a trans thing on my part where I'm like "I am a girl after all" but I'm on Seth's side, that's pajamas and the hole is small, and yeah cleaning sucks Seth also doesn't clean his room. Like I hate cloths and shaving and stuff, when girls like cloths and still shave. Conviently, the room S is staying in that she needed to clean even though her mom wouldn't have (she's says, since her mom thing is for an art project) "I'm not pretentious enough to call debauchery art" was Seth's until he brought a girl in there. So it's used to being a filthy dank cave.

not hesitating one bit, you call your boyfriend, ni-ki. ni-ki picks up immediately, knowing you don't like calls, so, when his phone's screen lights up, a incoming call coming from "boyfriend💗" he doesn't think tiwce to answer your call, knowing something must be wrong.

"hey babe, what's wrong?" he asks, worried about you. you keep your sobs silent and muffled, your tears silently streaming down your cheeks. "i'm just so over it, ni-ki." you say quietly, loud enough for him to hear you. his heart drops, the thought of you, his boyfriend, being so upset, instantly wanting to be by your side. "are you okay baby? do you want to talk about it?" he asks you gently, which makes you want to sob even harder.

"they are making my life miserable." he knows exactly what you are talking about, who you are talking about. "i'm honestly not okay, ni-ki. i need you." you say, crying softly. "i'm coming over. i'll see you soon, hang in there, okay?"

"o-okay."

in mere minutes, your boyfriend comes into your room quietly, with your favorite snacks and drinks. he silently thanks you for giving him a extra key so he doesn't have to bother you by you getting up and opening up for him, even though you'd do anything for your loving and caring boyfriend.

after placing the items he's brought he gets in bed next to you, you immediately pulling him into a hug, crying softly in his warm and comforting embrace. he holds you tightly and in a protective manner. "i'm here, i'm here. everything will be okay." he reassures you.

after your sobs calm down he speaks up suggesting, "we don't have to talk about it right now. let's watch a funny movie or series while eating your favorite snacks and drinking your favorite drink."

you pull away slightly to look at him. the moonlight allows you to see his face, how he's smiling at you warmly and lovingly. he wipes away your tears and leans in, pecking your forehead. "that sounds like a plan." your voice is hoarse from the crying as you smile at him.

"y/n," ni-ki calls out your name ever so softly. "you are a great boyfriend, you know that, right?" you blush lightly, ni-ki brightening up your mood so easily. "and you are a great boyfriend, ni-ki." he leans in and kisses you on your lips gently and passionately.

he breaks the kiss and the two of you get comfortable. you both decide on a funny movie to watch and begin to snack on the snacks and drinking the drinks ni-ki has bought for you.

after the movie you talk to him about what's been bothering you. he listens, occasionally nodding and squeezing your hand for comfort. when you are done talking, he says his say and it instantly makes you feel better, knowing you can always count on him.

"y/n, thank you for telling me about this. remember i'm always here for you, your feelings are always valid to me and i'll never validate how you feel or what you are currently going through, okay?" you nod, feeling the tears coming back as you are so moved by his words.

yeah he can be immature, but ni-ki knows when to be mature and serious. when it comes with you, this relationship, he's serious about it, about you being his boyfriend.

and so, the two of you fall asleep easily in each other's hold, ni-ki's arms around you securely as you both sleep peacefully.

10. What would your Tav consider to be their greatest skill? Is this accurate?

Solveig: her silver tongue - accurate. She considers it her greatest weapon she can use to get what she needs without a fight: negotiating better reward for the job, calming down someone who is about to do something stupid, comming up with convincing story to avoid further questions. She trusts her charming personality more than her sorcerer power.

Ylva: her medical skills - not really accurate. Ylva is a great medic even without magic, but in the whirlwind of constant battle for her life and freedom, she forgets her most important ability - her insight. Ability to quickly assess the situation, to know intensions of strangers, to notice what's in the heart of another person. It saves lifes before stitches are needed.

11. What would your Tav consider to be their greatest flaw? Is this accurate?

Solveig: physical weakness - not accurate. Solveig blames many failures in her life on her lack of physical strength and she doesn't want to admit what is truly her greatest flaw - tendency to lie. She will lie or tell half-truths (even to her friends) to avoid certain topics, even if they should to be adressed. In the back of her head she knows that one day, she will have to tell the truth and it scares her.

Ylva: her emotions - accurate. Ylva listens primarily to her heart when it comes to making decisions. Logic is not her best friend and she needs someone really close to her to convice her to put her feelings aside. If she feels something is the best way to go, she is doing that, even if that means putting tiwce as much effort (or risking her own safety).

Description:

This papyrus was part of the burial of Nauny, a Chantress of the god Amun-Re who died in her seventies. She also bore the title "king's daughter," which probably means that she was a child of the High Priest of Amun and titular king of the Theban area, Painedjem I.

On the papyrus are images and texts from a number of spells. The central scene illustrates Spell 125, better known as the Judgment of Osiris or The Weighing of the Heart. Nauny is in the Hall of Judgment. (...) Behind Nauny stands the goddess Isis, both wife and sister of Osiris. She is identified by the hieroglyph above her head.
