Regarding my fics

I'm not 100% sure what I'll do for my fics going forward. When it all happened, I didn't think about it, but then I did, and at the time he just made me sick to my stomach, and the thought of writing anything adjacent to him felt like a sin. If not for anyone else, for me. Just for my comfort. But, having a little more time to process, it just reminds me why I always thought IRL fics were strange, and avoided them accordingly. We dont know these people. We dont know their lives, we dont know their inner workings, we dont know anything other than what they show us, and to try and write fiction about that always felt off to me. The difference for the characters based off of them is that, we know those characters. We create their lives, their stories, their relationships, and I guess that's really the difference. We made them our own. So I think I'll continue, because I really do love writing the stories I write for myself and other people, and I've put a lot of work into them. It just might take me a bit to be comfortable writing again, because even though I can separate character from the real guy, cwilbur has always been based off of his personality. And my disgust for the guy isn't going to go away.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
