So, how are you gonna do the weird "deathberry cure" for Puddleshine?

Could anything like it be used for an external wound? Something a bit rudimentary, like how we used to use hydrogen peroxide which DID prevent infection at the cost of healthy cells getting killed too?

Honestly I just don't feel a need to keep it. It kinda just feels like a random W the authors tossed at Alderheart so he could be more special, but it didn't even result in him getting any major accolades or extra respect from anyone.

It doesn't even really feel like something he earned? I need to revisit AVOS because I don't really remember it, but I know I have no recollection of him experimenting or figuring out his own treatments before he was like, "WHAT IF DEATHBERRY ANTIBIOTICS?" And so I don't really feel... beholden to it.

The story I'm telling with him is very different anyway, more focused on his complicated relationship to his dad, his origin as a kittypet being raised by his mom Jessy, and struggling with the way the Clans are trying to shave his heritage away from him. He doesn't need to be a master chemist, too.

(Also honey combines with sweat to make very mild hydrogen peroxide anyway, which is why it's nature's best disinfectant. I don't need to have the cats fuck around with taxine, the 1-billion-heartattacks compound found in yew.)

Foul Legacy's never really paid attention to when Childe pops his joints- it's just a weird human thing, he thinks- so when you're snuggling together and there's a sudden crunching sound he almost jumps out of his skin. he frantically nudges your hands with a high-pitched whine, chittering rapidly with worry- did you just break yourself??? did one of your fragile finger bones spontaneously shatter? you have to bite your tongue to keep from bursting into laughter, explaining between silent chuckles that it's completely normal, cracking a few more of your knuckles to demonstrate. Legacy lets out a low hiss at the sound, insistently licking your hand afterwards and pulling you close so you can't move

needless to say he doesn't really like it at first, but gradually he warms up to it once you explain that popping your bones feels quite good, like you're getting rid of stiffness. occasionally Legacy will watch you crack your back and tilt his head questioningly, chirping as if he's asking if it felt nice. if you happen to do stretches in order to pop your joints he'll start mimicking you, even though Foul Legacy can't crack his own bones due to his body structure. and when Childe is spending time with you, he'll hear a happy purr from Legacy in his head whenever you pop your bones, because he knows you like it <33

If we end up getting the SoC spin-off I’m really curious about what they’ll do with the Wylan and Kuwei dynamic. I don’t just mean how they interact. Like we better get this someday:

“How about I push you in the canal and we see if you know how to swim?” Wylan said with a very passable imitation of Kaz’s glare.

But I mean the whole plot of Kuwei and Wylan having the same face. I wonder if they’ll reduce the amount of time they look the same or not. Part of me hopes they don’t since it’s such an impactful part of the story and yet another part of me is kind of sad that it could mean almost an entire season of the show without Jack Wolfe actually being in it. I guess he’d still voice Wylan even if his face is different. Anyways I’m just really curious how they’ll translate all of that on screen and I hope they don’t screw everything up.
